One of the corridors on the third floor is home to a large collection of armour. Be careful not to touch or the caretaker, Finn, may give you detention to clean up your fingerprints (and everyone else's). Also, did you know the armour moves? It's also heavily armed.

Tessa was exploring the halls when a room caught her eye. Not just because it was shiny. She slowly stepped into the room, the smile growing on her face the more she saw. The armor in the room was gorgeous!
She walked by each case, admiring the pieces that were on display from different time periods. This was the sort of history she could enjoy- not reading them off the pages. If only they were allowed to try such things on... she wouldn't attempt it, don't worry.
"This is amazing," she said, not caring if anyone else heard her.

Asher was just trying to refamiliarize himself with the layout of the castle. It was amazing in how a term you can forget where things are or which way to go to get their.
He was just wondering around. He wouldn't admit it but he was lost. Heck he was even sure what level he was on. As he continued walking he turned the corner and found the suit of armor. Now he knew where he was third floor.
He bowed to the first suit that he past. Just a few suits over was someone standing there. Was she talking to him? Or not? Either way. He snook up behind one close to the girl and said "Yeah, very nice. It's hard work standing here all day, you know." Yeah. The armor is talking.

While exploring the castle, Lux somehow found herself in the Armory, perhaps drawn there by all the neat statue... things dressed up like knights. "Cool," she muttered to herself as she wandered along, reaching out to touch them as she passed.
Caught up in what she was doing, she did not notice Tessa until she almost bumped into her. "Super!Tessa! Hiii!" It was amazing that they would both be in this room at the same time. "What are you..." She trailed off suddenly when she heard a male voice.

Tessa had heard someone else enter a bit ago, but had been engrossed in examining the suit in front of her. The details were intricate, and she figured that it deserved a little bit of extra time spent there.
She hid a smile as she heard a reply from her earlier exclamation. She didn't know who the person was, but she liked them already. "Good sir armour," she said with an elegant bow to the suit. "I'm sure it is! However, if would be against your armourness duties to sit down and take a break," she pointed out.

"Did the... armor just talk?"
She had just finished talking to the armour when she heard a familiar voice. She turned with a grin to the younger student, and gave her a quick hug, followed by a hair ruffle. "Hey Cucumber," she said with a grin. "Super Tessa is here!" she added, striking a super hero pose before succumbing to giggles.
At Lux's question, she nodded. "Indeed it did. I was just admiring how stunning it looks- I'm sure it will answer a question if you ask it," she teased, sending a grin to the suit of armor- and wherever the mysterious voice's owner was.
Delilah was just staring at all the armor. From a safe distance, of course. They looked kind of.. creepy, okay? And, she'd heard they moved. Like, actually moved. That was more than just creepy, really.
Brushing some hair from her eyes, the fifteen year old slowly walked down the corridor, never taking her eyes off the rather scary-looking armor. She might have even looked behind her once or twice just to make sure she wasn't followed or anything. Ahem.

Smiling and hugging Tessa back, Lux was really excited at the idea of talking armour. Stepping forward some, she reached out and knocked on one. "Are you actually alive? Or just animated?" Maybe they had been transfigured. She knocked on the armour again. "Does it hurt when I do that?" She really hoped not, or she would stop doing it; Lux did not really like hurting...people. Or things. Whatever this was. "It's not a ghost, is it....Tessa?" The idea of a dead knight haunting its old armour freaked her out.

This was too good. They were totally falling for it to. or were they? Anyhow.... he continued to play along. He laughed into his hand so they couldn't hear it. Removing his hand now. "Yes, that is true. I would forsaking me Knightly duty by setting down and taking a break." Yeah that sounded good. Too good?
Asher watched from behind the armor as the girls chatted a bit. The younger looking girl knocked on the armor. Asher grinned and laughed quietly. Then spoke as the armor again. "Ow. That was my head. Yes, I'm alive..." Well technical. He thought a bit about what else to say. He didn't really want to scare the girl. But this was too fun. He should have done this ages ago.
"How are you two young ladies doing, tonight?" He said in a knightly tone.

Tessa smothered her smile as Lux knocked on the armour. "Yes, good sir, please speak to us again," she said, grinning toward the suits. At Lux's question, she quickly shook her head. "No, Cu, I think it's something more tangible than a ghost," she said, raising her tone slightly for the other person to hear. "Besides, ghosts are too vain to hide in armour for long," she whispered to her friend.

"We're doing well, Sir Knight- or should I call you Sir Armour?" she asked, with a grin. This was quite fun, but she didn't want to stress her young friend out.

Reassured that it was not a ghost by Tessa and the knight's replies, Lux sighed in relief. She would much rather deal with a real knight than a mean ghost playing a trick on them. Trying to get a look into the knight's mouth piece without touching it, she wondered how old he was. "I am doing well, Sir Knight. Can you tell me if you worked for King Arthur? And if so, was there really a round table?" Lux had loved the legend of King Arthur for a long time, and she would be so thrilled to be able to talk to one of the Knights of the Round Table!

Asher was doing a great job of keeping it together. This was getting funnier. The girls were now really getting into to it. Whoa so many questions. He had to quickly think of something. "You can call me sir Knight." Yep. Smooth real smooth. And simple.
Now here came the harder questions from the younger girl. "I'm only just a piece of decoration, little girl." He chuckled, all knightly like. "But I can assure you that the table was round."
Phew, Asher wasn't sure how much longer he could keep going without busting out laughing.

Tessa grinned at the Knight's replies, and it also seemed like Lux was relaxing in the presence of such a being- now, if only Tessa could find him. She started to wander the gallery, appearing to examine other suits of armour, while really trying to see if a different angle would reveal the mysterious owner of the voice.
She smiled at Lux's questions, smothering her own laughter. "Great questions, Cu- I would like to know the answer to those as well!" She laughed at the last answer, and heard another chuckle- most likely from the mystery person. "So, Sir Knight, how long have you been at the castle?" she asked, still walking around the room. "Did you have a favorite thing to do? Sword play or jousting?" she inquired further.

Oh. Well, that was quite the downer. She had really been hoping that the Arthurian legend was real and she was talking to one of the knights of his round table. "But you did quests, Sir Knight? Did you not work for a king?" King Arthur would be the best king to work for, but she supposed that any other king from history would be pretty awesome as well!
Noticing that Tessa was walking around the room, Lux went mellow now. "What are you doing?" Had Tessa lost something? She seemed to be searching the room for something... She could maybe help her friend find it!

Now is was really starting to get hard to keep going without the girls figuring all of out. The older one was moving around a lot. He was sure that she was on to him now. He just knew it."I've been here for a long time." He had to do something so his cover wasn't blown. He thinking quickly he moved over to the next Armor. And hoped that they didn't see the move.
He better speak again as the Knight."Oh.... jousting by far." Yep, that worked for now. He moved on over to the next one.
Asher was ready cutting it close here. The younger girl was extremely curious. about the talking Armor. Who wouldn't be? Right? "Yes, I had plenty of quest to save a bunch of pretty girls. And worked for many many kings."
Now the other girl was moving around asking the other girl what she was doing. That was a good question, "Yeah, What are you doing?" Because he wanted to know too.

Tessa glanced back, and felt a pang at the hurt that was on Lux's face. She would have to end this little charade before Lux got upset. Or, before she got too involved and was hurt at its revelation... she hoped it wasn't too late for that already.
"Just looking at some of the other pieces that are here," she called over to Lux with a smile. Meanwhile the 'armour' was answering their questions. She nodded at the answers, smiling at the last one. "I think jousting would be my favorite if I were a knight," she said thoughtfully. She smiled at the 'armour's' words to Lux. It was a pretty picture- knights, lords, ladies, and kings.
Suddenly, motion caught the corner of her. She didn't turn though- she didn't want the boy to know she was onto him. She heard him question what she was doing and turned to look at the original suit of armour. "Well, I'm sure some of this other armour would also like some attention- I can still listen to your stories while studying these," she assured the armour.
However, as she crept around the corner, out of sight, she finally found where the voice's owner was hiding. "Ah- ha! Found you!" she exclaimed with a grin. "Pleasure to meet you, Sir Knight," she said with a grin to the boy.

Lux wanted more answers from the knight, since he was not really telling her everything that she wanted to know. A knight should have a lot of amazing stories to tell from all the adventures that he had. "How old are you? Can you tell me about some of your quests and the kings you worked for?" She was not concerned about ladies and romance and any of that garbage he might have been involved with; kissing was disgusting. "I wanna hear more about your jousting, Sir Knight. And have you ever killed any dragons?" Knights were supposed to kill dragons!
Nodding at Tessa, she watched the girl curiously for a moment before turning her attention back to the knight she was talking to. This was the most fun she had at the castle so far, and she wanted to talk to the knight for as long as possible.
When Tessa let out an exclamation, Lux snapped her attention back on her. "What are you talking about? What happened?" She was confused.
Pfft. Mitchell was told he should read the History book. But that was not his style. Nope. He preferred the experience of wandering around and not knowing what to expect.

... Yeah, no. Delilah decided to explore other parts of the castle. Like, the kitchen! She hadn't been down there yet. Maybe she could grab a snack or something. It was nearly lunch time. Besides, this place was giving her the creeps.
"Well, it's a good thing you're not mean." Delilah turned around, recognising that voice. Mitch. "Hey." She grinned before leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek.

Mitchell gave a half smirk, which faltered with the cheek kiss. Why? Because it was a cheek kiss. Disappointed Mitchell was disappointed. "You missed." he said. It was worth a try, right?
"So what brings you to suit land? You don't think they're creepy?" Because he was pretty sure that he saw this horror movie.

"So, I did. Maybe I should try again?" Delilah said with a small wink. Yeah. She could be sassy when she wanted to be.. especially with people she was comfortable with. Not that she was actually going to try anything. He's a friend and one doesn't kiss friends on the lips. Ahem.
She turned to look at the armor again, making a face. "Of course I think they're creepy. I've heard they freaking move.." That was way beyond creepy, to be honest.
Adeline wanted to explore the castle, that was her favorite thing to do here, she just wanted to know if she still knew that castle pretty well, she just wanted to know if there was any new here too. Adeline had never been in the Armour Gallery before, she knew what and where it was but she never thought she needed to be here but seeing some cool and old armour would be pretty cool too. Adeline made her way to the armour gallery with a smile on her face, she was really glad to be back at Hogwarts after being gone for so many terms.

She was not concerned about ladies and romance and any of that garbage he might have been involved with; kissing was disgusting.
Asher knew that this was coming to an end and soon. Well it had been fun while it lasted. The older was really on to him. It was too cute now. The younger girl was enjoying it too much.
He had to admit that he was having a good time hisself. The story telling. Yeah if quidditch didn't work out. He was so going to write children's books.
Whoa! Hello there? Girl. He blinked. He was caught red-handed oh boy. He put his finger to his mouth and quietly said, "Shhhhh."
He could not disappoint this girl. Not now. He had to finish this story beginning to end. "I'm nearly 15 centuries old." That sound good, maybe not factual, but possible. How old where knights, anyway?
Now, for an action packed story of the knight hood. "Would like to hear about the time I fought three dragons right along side of King tut? Would you because he does.

Tessa winced, but since her back was to Lux, the girl wouldn't see it. The second year was getting too involved in this, and she didn't want her to get hurt. SHe was hoping it wasn't already too late. She glanced over her shoulder and shot Lux a reassuring smile, before continuing her search.
Found him.
Hearing Lux's questions, Tessa peeked around a corner. "Hold on a moment Lux," she called, shooting a look to boy.

SHe glanced back to Lux, who was listening to every word the 'knight' was saying. "I don't want her hurt in her first year here," she warned.
She felt her sternness soften slightly. This boy, whoever he was, could tell a really good story. But, as much fun as she was having, she was more worried about the young Hufflepuff. "Come on," she whispered, beckoning that he should come out from where he was hiding.

Utterlu confused, Lux had no idea what Tessa was doing and why she was not looking at her. "Tessa, what's going on here?" Why was she not coming back over to hear more of the knight's story? And what had she been looking for?
Sighing, she turned her attention to the statue in front of her, and the story it was telling her. "Huh, I had no idea Knights were that old." You learned something new everyday, and she was sure learning a lot from this knight! "Please tell me your story. I want to know what you did." Stories with dragons were cool, because generally were filled with stolen treasure and fire breathing. The part with the damsel in distress could be avoided, because it was boring and gross.

Asher just stared at the older girl for a few minutes. He rolled his eyes. Really now would be the worst time to let the cat out of the bag. He just needed like 5 minutes that was all. He looked at the girl and whispered "Trust me." Throwing his hand up in the air.
Really? He could end this just fine no hurt feeling or disappointments. He looked at the other girl. He sighed and nod "Fine but I'm ending it my way." He pushed by the older girl. and turned to the younger one and knelt down to her level. The seventh year was nearly six feet tall so this was a necessity "Hey, How are you?" He smiled.
"My Friend here Mr. Knight has broken a very strict code, code 96 cause 5 section b. It's okay though, he isn't in a trouble or anything." He nodded reassuringly. "You see, it's not very Knight like to boast of quest. But I'll be more than happy to tell you one of his stories." He smiled down the younger girl. Then turned and winked at the older asking for her approval.
