Arabella-Marie entered the book club meeting and smiled to herself as she could dress up she got herself dressed up as a princess and then took a seat on a bean bag and waited for the meeting to begin

Emmaleigh had heard something about a book club meeting today, so she eagerly made her way up to the Library. It was something new that she had never done before. With her trusty bag thrown over her shoulder, she headed towards the center of the library and found a little beanbag seating area, some man, a student and... costumes? er, "Hello." she said softly, greeting those gathered, before setting her stuff beside a green beanbag. Heading over to clothes rack, she looked through the items and was disappointed to not find a bathrobe. After looking at the costumes again, she decided to go with the hyperintelligent pandimensional being costume. In other words, she would dress up as a white mouse. Slipping the costume on over her clothes, she decided she needed one final thing, so she pulled her trusty towel out of her bag, and ploped down on the the bag.

Ooooh, this certainly sounded excited! Bliss'd never been to the book club before, but seen as she liked books..a lot, she thought she might as well come and check it out. She hesitated at the library door and looked around the room. In the centre of the room, there were bean bags, very colourful bean bags at that. Very nice. Then Bliss spotted the racks of costumes and squealed quietly. She went over to the them and gasped as she found the perfect one for her.

A Tinker Bell costume! YAY!

Tinker Bell was her all time favourite muggle fairytale book character. In fact, some of her friends had nicknamed her Tinker Bell because of her little obsession. She thought it quite suited her. She quickly got herself into the costume and plonked herself down on a yellow beanbag and greeted the other students that were there. "Hey," she said and smile.

Arabella-Marie nodded and smiled to the two hufflepuffs who had entered and saw that they were dressing up too a lot of fun

Terry wasn't impressed, that much was obvious. Bliss had convinced him to come to the book club meeting with her and as a good friend, he had obliged. Books just weren't his thing, he didn't read in his spare time and he would only ever use the Library for studying near exam time. So as he reluctantly walked the hundreds of steps up to the Library, there was an unimpressed expression on his face.

He walked into the library and sat down in the beanbag next to Bliss. It took him a minute to realise that she had dressed up. His brow shot right up at her. "What ARE you wearing?" he asked, staring at her. This had been a really bad idea. There was absolutely no way he was dressing up. He'd look like an idiot and he wasn't giving up his hoodie either, it was quite a cold day and he felt comfortable. He resisted the urge to pull his hood up over his face, be incognito.

Could he leave now? He'd shown up after all.

Walking fast to the library, Cassia was worried whether she is late for the Bookclub meeting. She had made sure to leave the common room early in order not get there late but she had encountered some friends on the way and as usual started babbling and forgot that she was on schedule. However, she ran quickly here.

As she entered she saw that a few students have already gathered ,she spotted a familiar fellow snake too. She looked around and nodded "Hello everyone," She greeted them and then sank down on one of the bean bugs. Yay it was bouncy! She actually came here for the nice chairs and because she figured out that as a second-year she needed to get more interested in reading. Older students seemed to be so she had to.

Alyssa walked into the library section where the Book Club meeting was going to be held and saw that Bean Bags had been placed in a circle in the middle of the library and next to it was a rack of costumes.

'We get to play dress up? Cool.' Alyssa thought to herself as she browsed through the costumes until she found one she liked. It was a Luke Skywalker costume.

She quickly slipped it on and walked over to join the rest of the students who were seated on the bean bags. Seeing Mr. Kitridge she greeted him.

"Hello Mr. Kitridge. I'm glad that you're doing another Book Club session."

Alyssa then looked around and plopped herself into one of the bean bags.

Walking into book club she was annoyed at the thought that usually it would've been Andrew who'd be doing something like this, but she wanted to get more involved than him and prove that she was just as good at them at very least.

So smiling she made her way over to the costumes before she did anything else, and a girly part of her made her want to dress up as a fairy, though she didn't, instead she wore a cat costume because it was just adorable! Besides, she loved the ears and the tail... she'd have to see whether or not there was a spell or a sort of magical item with cat ears and a tail that responded to her moods... it would be a shock to people at least!

With a grin she sat herself down on the bean bags before she greeted the others "Hey..."

Walking into book club, Nerida shined with joy. She was very happy that they would be having book club again this year. She waved at a couple people and walked over to the costumes, she would definitely be getting dressed up, just because they were being given the choice. Nerida picked out a purple fairy costume and black wings. She slipped the costume on over her clothes.

With a smile she sat down on one of the blue bean bags and greeted everyone who was already there. "Hello!"

Making her way into the library with her hair hanging loosely over her shoulders, Kurumi tugged on the sleeve of her brown sweater as she entered the area where the Book Club was being held. Kurumi liked books. She liked talking about books. So it really was only fitting that she show up. Not to mention that she was also the unofficial keeper of the reference section and that therefore made her feel even more obligated to attend.

Smiling at the humble crowd that was gathered, Kurumi bowed towards Mr. Kitridge before offering him a polite smile as well. "Good day, sir," she said as she walked past. She noticed the costumes....but there was no way Kurumi was going to wear one of those, no offense. It did become a little obvious to the Gryffindor what was going to be discussed, but she kept such thoughts to herself as she flopped down in a beanbag chair beside fellow Gryffindor, Angel.

Sarah bounced into the room, then she remembered that it was a library, so she slowed down her pace a bit. Then she saw a rack of clothes... yay dress up, she began going through it untill she found the PERFECT princess gown. Then she sat down on one of the bean bags

Books are always something worth Juliet's time and hearing about this club made her really happy. This would be the first book club she would ever be in, now she can not wait with whatever it is they are going to talk about or discuss. Which book, which author. There is a whole lot of possibilities to this.

Walking to the library, Juliet spotted a couple of students already. Most of which are girls. She smiled as she saw the librarian, waved at him and greeted with a simple "Hello, sir" then she made her way to one of the bean bag chairs. She flopped into one. Wow, so comfortable.

After Leo had recommended such a good book for her last time, Isabelle was determined to join in with at least one of his book clubs this term. Plus it gave her the opportunity to meet some more of the students, and chat with them. Something she liked doing.

Pulling up the sleeves on her cardigan, she entered the library and her eye was immediately caught by the array of costumes Leo had placed there. Fun for the kids, maybe, but she wasn't going to dress as a fairy. No. She my like to get the kids dressing up, but not herself. Not in front of everyone.

And it seemed Terry felt the same way, if his expression was anything to go by. Chuckling to herself, Issy walked over to one of the free been bags and plopped herself down. She raised a hand of greeting to Leo, giving him a little wave, before looking around at the kids who had made it so far. "Afternoon everyone!"

"Hello sir," Sarah said from her perch, "hello everyone" she said. Then the DADA teacher walked in, Sarah stood up for the teacher as she entered. She had heard her grandmother's friend lamenting the state of youths today, that they don't stand up when a parent or teacher walks into the room, so Sarah stood up from her bean bag. She stood up when her parents and grandparents entered the room anyway. She knew someone who eeven had to, when talking to their parents, refer to the parents in third person, they could not say 'you', yet rather, 'father'. like, 'would father ike a drink' instead of 'would you like a drink.' "Hello Professor" she said.

Even though Mr Kitridge was reading an interesting article about a former professor of the school he still heard how the first trickled in for the meeting. Closing the yearbook he fired off a beam to the lioness. "Good afternoon, dear." He greeted even though the lioness didn’t show him the same courtesy.

The next girl to arrive chose to dress up as an albino coloured mouse. Beaming at her Mr Kitridge greeted "Afternoon. Nice costume choice."

Third person to arrive was yet another girl who chose a tinkerbell costume before choosing a bean bag close to her friends. "Afternoon." Leobald greeted all the same.

After tinkerbell girl the first boy arrived, looking like he just wanted to leave. Mr Kitridge shot the boy a welcome glance. Could people really dislike books? The idea of that was beyond his imagination. Guess it was a good thing this was supposed to be well relaxed and with no expectations.

Oooo owl girl was here!

Mr kitridge smiled broadly at the girl as she found herself a beanbag. "Afternoon." This wasn’t the place or time to ask how things had gone with her complicated owl situation. He sympathized with her truly. It couldn’t be easy to own a pet that acted like it didn’t like you at all even when you were nice to it.

"Why, thank you Alyssa it means a lot to hear that." Mr Kitridge accepted the compliment from the badger hoping that he was actually doing a good thing and not treading out on deep water. Well only time would tell.

"Afternoon," Mr Kitridge greeted with a warm smile. Cat costumes seemed to be popular he noted absent-mindedly.

"Afternoon Nerida." Mr Kitrdige greeted. Remembering the girl from last year’s meetings he was glad that she had decided to come back for the new meetings.

Next to arrive as the bags slowly started to fill up was Kurumi. "Good afternoon Miss Hollingberry.” Mr Kitridge greeted as she passed him on the way over to a bean bag next to another lion.

Bouncy Sarah arrived soon after Kurumi. Waving a "Afternoon Sarah." after her LEobald watched her pick out a princess costume and dress up in it before plopping down on a bean bag.

"Good day dear." Mr Kitridge greeted the newest arriving girl with warm beam.

Mr Kitridge looked up expecting to see yet another and gladly surprised when he saw Isabelle Magnus walk into join the meeting. After waving a ‘hello’ in her direction he counted the students already present. It was probably high time to start. "Welcome everyone to this years first book club meeting. For those who do not know me I’m Leobald Kitridge, the school librarian."

Gesturing towards the clothes rack he continued. "I guess many of you are wondering about the costumes well see those have to do with the topic we are discussing today which is favourite book characters."

"Would anyone like to start and share a favourite book character of theirs with the rest of the group? It can be any book character which you’ve grown to like it doesn't matter if its a character from a muggle or magical story all are welcome." He looked around the circle wondering who'd break the ice first.


OCC: The meeting has started. Anyone can just jump in at any time. No points will be awarded or deducted during the meeting. So just Rp and have fun and let’s chat about book characters!

Sarah thought about it for a moment... she was going to say Sara from 'a little princess', yet then she realized that she had spoke about it last year. "I mentioned it last year, yet I like Sara from the little princess, always positive. Positivity and optimism are a great trait to have. In the same vane, I like Pollyanna too for her positivity."

Elliot had sooo been here the whole. Just watching..and staring...and stuff. Like, secret stuff mostly. She had been in the library a lot, lately.

And she was very glad the book club was continuing from last year..very glad. Because book club was awesome!

She gathered round when Mr. Kit(as she liked to call him in her head) began to meeting. YAY! He asked their favorite books...

Hmmm...

Elliot had to think about that one. There was Shakespeare, but then she liked the really old stuff...like the Roman Epics. Because she was weird and all. She raised her hand, "Well, my favorite book character would be Juno, from The Aeneid... she said clearly, with a smirk.

Juno, or Hera, was an angry nuuuuts woman. And that's precisely why Elliot liked her so much. That, and that she was the villain of the epic. Because Elliot always liked the villains.

A book club! Jake... was excited. Was that weird? Probably. But there would be people that liked books there. He would be with people like him. Heh.

He wasn't even that late! He smiled when he reached the group and took a seat, waving to the two professor-looking people there. "Hey," he said quietly, because the one professor person was already talking.

Favorite book character? "Huck Finn," Jake answered with a nod once there was a break in the conversation. "From the Adventures of Tom Sawyer, ya know."

Witsy heard the question as she came in and sat down. She noticed there were costumes on the side and felt a bit bummed. She made a mental not that the would put one on if there was break.

She thought for a moment about her favorite book, "Um.. so far there's a muggle book called Mockingjay." She starred at the floor for a few seconds, she didn't want to say too much because she didn't want to spoil it for the rest of the people who don't know...yet.

Witsy felt good that she wasn't under any pressure for a change. School work has been so demanding that, to be in a place that seemed laid back and relaxed, was something she's been waiting for. She made a mental note to remind her friend to come with her next time.

Em wiggled a bit in her beanbag, getting more comfortable as the man spoke. A huge grin crossed her face when he mentioned the topic would be on favorite book characters. Getting to talk about this was better than being a kid in a candy shop. A few people went before she could say anything, so she grabbed her bag and started to go through it. As soon as there was a pause Em blurted out “Arthur Dent.” Remembering the book she was looking for was the one she had loaned to Max, she pulled out the second book in the series, Restaurant at the End of the Universe. “He’s the main character in the muggle series, the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” Nod, nod. She wasn’t sure if she was supposed to elaborate, and since those that went before her hadn’t, she wouldn't either.

Nerida was getting comfy when Mr. Kitty Mr. Kitridge began the meeting. She quickly stopped moving around in her squeaky bean bag. Favorite book characters...Hmm that was a hard question....She had so many books she liked...With so many characters she loved! While listening to the others Nerida thought of which character she should say. After there was a pause Nerida decided it was her turn. "Charlie Bone!" Remembering the actual title for the series she added "He is the main character from the Children of the Red King Series. But I also love Tancred, he is also a main character but not as much as Charlie."

Isabelle nodded and smiled at the young Gryffindor who greeted her, also acknowledging the wave Leo gave her. Wiggling her bum to get it comfortable, she crossed her legs and leant forward a little. Oh, they were starting, what was the subject going to be?

Favourite characters, eh?

Having thought about it for a couple of minutes, while the kids answered first, Isabelle rocked back on her bean bag and spoke. "I quite like Sherlock Holmes myself. Although he's in a series of stories, rather than just one book." In case any of the kids didn't know.

Vee was just passing by to put some books back on the shelf when she heard mention of Sherlock Holmes from a group of staff and students nearby.

"Sherlock Holmes is amazing! Genius!" she couldn't help to agree with an enthusiastic grin and ring to her tone. Only then did she see who had spoken. Trust her to not pay attention to that and interrupt a teacher... Oh dear...

"Oh, sorry, Professor, I'm really sorry, didn't mean to interrupt! Just that I'm a huge fan, and I didn't really expect to hear anyone talk about Sherlock here, Doyle being a Muggle author and all, and I really am a fan, though Anne of Green Gables is just as good though in a completely different way, but Sherlock's brilliant..." she trailed off, feeling awkward. She tended to babble when she got nervous... yeah, this was definitely one of those times.

Although there was still a part of her curious as to why they were discussing Muggle books, and an even bigger part of her wanting to join. Even if some of the people were dressed a bit funny... but then again, who was Vee to judge? She was still wearing her straw hat and her red hair was a mess - now that she thought of it, she could recognise a Tinker Bell on one of the chairs. Hmm. Perhaps she could pass for Anne of Green Gables? She definitely had the hair and freckles, though she wasn't sue about the fiery temper...

Arabella-Marie listened to everyone talking about there favourite book characters and which book they were from and she said "Well my favourite is Elizabeth Bennet because she stood out as a strong willed woman from the time and Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite muggle books by the wonderful Jane Austin"
