Ducks, fifteen in all and quite possibly already named, live in this pond. Go on, take a seat on the rocky ledge and dip your feet into the water! Rest assured, these ducks will not bite, but if you just so happen to have any type of bread or cookies on you at the time, the ducks have been known to take without asking.
Waylon keeps a good eye on the pond and the ducks, so no funny business.
Jordan nodded, "Thats a good point," he nodded, "The quieter they are makes it seem as though they've got something major planned for when we are on holidays, we're going to have to be really careful this way around." he said, remembering their traumatic summer last year. "I really don't want a repeat of last year, we weren't expecting it at all and they almost caught us.. And they hurt my head." he smirked, rubbing the small scar on his head.
Pam looked sadly up at the small scar. "They hurt us in more ways then one." She said. Which was true, physically or mentally, they would stop at nothing to make sure they were gone. Just so long as we left this world as painfully as possible. "We just need to be more careful, and remember not to get too comfortable in one spot." Doing that made them much more of a target. She really didn't want to get caught again. It was the most terrifying moment of her life, and she was 100% sure it wasn't the last.

Jordan smiled, "It hurt, but it made me feel a bit like Harry Potter" he chuckled, "But they are always going to be trying to hurt us until either we or they are dead, so we are either going to have to confront them head on or keep moving and don't let them find us," he said, and then he thought about the options. "To be honest, I prefer the option which keeps us alive for longest," but the option he wanted most was for Team Wolf to not exist.
Hmm...That was probably true. Even small creatures could have big appetites! Ella was a small human and her appetite was HUGE! "I love to eat." She said thoughtfully, a smile playing on her lips. "Mostly things that my dad disapproves of though." Shrug. It never stopped her from doing it anyway.
The pouting confused the second year a bit but she ignored it because...BEAM The older girl had agreed to help her out. Ella watched as she removed her socks and shoes with a small smile. It was only proper to take off your socks and shoes on a day like this. Oh! And she hadn't even bothered to ask the girls name...at least now she knew it. "Hi Nessie." The blonde said with a smile. "I'm Ella, Ella Bishop." Nod. And then the second year was handing the red head some bread to break up. "Here! I'm sure they're ready for more." Grin. They sure could eat a lot! It was impressive.
This girl was already cute, deffintely had to be younger than a third year. She even looked cute and Nessie had to admit those cheeks of hers were just too adorable. She looked away from them though, it was rude to pinch people's cheeks and she honestly didn't want the title of 'old granny pinch cheeker' that would just be weird.
"As long as your eating some healthy foods." she said with a small nod.
Of course eating healthy was very important, but you could still have sweets and all too. You just needed to know how to eat a balanced diet and all. Renesmee eyed the ducks. All they seemed to do all day was eat, it made no sense though. Shouldn't they have been a bit chubbier? or maybe they were chubby for ducks...who knew?
Ella? Hmmm..pretty name for a adorable little girl. "It's lovely to meet you, Ella." said Nessie as she returned the smile. She then accepted the piece of bread. "Thanks." she said as she began breaking the pieces into smaller bits and then eventually throwing a few at the ducks.
"So what year you in?" she asked trying to build up some more conversation.

Hmmm. Was she eating healthy food? Well sometimes. Like the occasional piece of broccoli! Ella enjoyed that vegetable mostly because the little things looked just like trees! Twas very adorable in her opinion! "Sure, yeah...I eat healthy things." She left out the sometimes part, not wanting to get scolded. Not that Nessie seemed like the scolding type, not yet anyway.
It was lovely to meet her? D'aww! Ella beamed at the older girl, feeling quite happy to have met Nessie as well. "You're welcome!" She added with a shrug. It was nothing really. She had loads of bread and was more than happy to share. The blonde watched with a smile as the older girl then broke up her bread into small pieces, doing the same to the bread she had in her own hands.
"Oh, I'm a second year." Ella said with a grin. "Though terms almost over so I'm like...a second year and three quarters!" Yeah! That seemed legit. "And what year are you in?" Cause now she was quite curious.

There was something about the way this girl had answered that made Nessie just a little suspicious. Was she maybe only telling her half of what she wanted? The red head pouted at this. Maybe, but she did look rather healthy and so Nessie let it pass. It wasn't her business anyways. "Good, your parents brought you up well then." she said with a small smile. They surely had, and this girl did seem sweet too another reason why Nessie had said what she did.
So polite! Wow! This girl was just so well mannered and all, Ness really liked that in people. If there was one thing she couldn't stand it was rudeness and she always avoided it if she could. "You're so sweet." Ella really was and she deserved to know it.
Second year? Aha! She was right! She knew it..she knew this girl wasn't older than a third year. She could just see it, especially through the cheeks. Only the younger kids had those special pinchable cheeks, not many older people did. The three quaters part was cute and it made Ness giggle. She remembered when she used to speak like that about her age and all. "You're almost a third year, hey you big girl." she said with a giggle. It was a little fun to tease these small kids."I'm in my fourth year now and next year I'm going to be a.." Ness gulped in between as she thought of how scary this was." be a ..a fifth year." Geez! She couldn't even believe it herself. That meant that next year it would be OWLs and all. It would surely be a hard year schoolwise.
Pam nodded. "We just need to stay alive long enough to get a plan going, and then we attack." That thought scared her. She didn't want to fight. She didn't want to have to kill. Nor did she want to get tortured before her death. She wanted to stay with her friends until they just gave up. But they would be hiding forever. "We need to do something at some point. We can't hide forever. That's unproductive, and I don't want to spend the rest of my life hiding." She did want to have a job, get married, and have kids in the future.
Angelina smiled and kept quiet for a little. Turning to Taylor she asked, "How is your family doing?" She hasn't seen anybody since the Christmas party they had at Taylor's house.

Yes she did! She DID kiss him on his cheek! He unconsciously touched his recently-kissed-cheek "You're welcome." And thanks for the kiss too. She thinks he's great too? "Thanks, Anya." he grinned widely.
Yeah. It could. But what's people do on a date actually? He still hasn't figure out that part yet.
Messer held Anya's left hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "So, where do you want to go on this date?" He has a few ideas but he will let the lady choose the place.
Anya cast her eyes at the ground and gave a little giggle. asdfghjkl; Messer was just being all... happy-inducing. She grinned and picked at a blade of grass. "You're welcome too." she replied.
She smiled a little at the hand squeeze. "Oh. I dunno. Whatever you wanna do. I'm not really picky." She pretty much had a good time doing whatever.
"Are... are we going right now?" Because she was pretty sure she didn't look cute enough to be going on a date.

YEAH. It was so totally time to introduce Frank to the ducks.
Alice skipped into the mushy area surrounding the pond and headed straight for the rock ledge. She had brought a chunk of bread from the Kitchens for the ducks and some tasty chocolate for herself Frank to eat. Her pet Chocolate Frog had nestled himself on the top of her head for safety and stared out at the pond with his wide frog eyes. "This would be your natural habitat if you weren't covered in chocolate, see, Frank?" She felt Frank bob happily on her head.
After dropping a small piece of chocolate into her pet's open, demanding mouth, the small girl started tossing little chunks of bread into the water. And this time, there was no one annoying to bother her. Not Edric, not Evs, it was just her and her pet. Just peace and quiet, and the occasional croak or burble from Frank.
Sigh. This was the good life.

Ella tried not to frown at the word parents, knowing that she didn't really have two, not anymore. Instead she shrugged, a weak smile on her face. "I guess they did." Though her dad deserved all the credit, at least in her opinion.
The small second year blushed as the older red head called her sweet. She loved to eat sweets but had never considered herself as that. It was nice to hear, though. "Thanks." She said sheepishly, looking at her feet. Poor child just didn't know how to take a compliment properly. Oh and it would be nice to return it, yeah? "You're sweet as well." Ells said quietly, looking up at the girl.
Ella couldn't be sure but it seemed as though the Nessie girl was paying particular attention to her face. She raised her eyebrows slightly, curious to know what she was thinking. Perhaps she thought Ella's face was a comedian in the same way that her fairy evil godfather, Edric did. Or maybe she thought it was frightening...though she would rather go with the first option. The second year stopped her thinking about it when the older badger giggled. Ella smiled and nodded at her comment. "I know! I can't believe it'll be my third year already!" Time really was flying at a ridiculous rate and Ells just wished it would slow down. She didn't even mind the teasing really, not when it was from a nice oldie! The blonde's eyes widened a bit as Ness shared what year she was with Ella. "Fourth year and soon to be fifth year! Wow." Nessie was like...a real live grown-up almost! "You must be learning really cool stuff in your lessons...like more advanced and stuff!" At least Ella hoped that was what happened as the years went on.
As they continued to sit, Ella ripped up some more bread and sprinkled it into the water, watching as the ducks continued to eat. "I think they would definitely win an eating contest against a human." She said thoughtfully, smiling at the creatures. The second year would definitely not want to go against them!

Guess? Well of course they did. This girl most probably had really good parenting, which was something Ness sort of lacked. Her parents had never really been there for her, if it wasn't for her nanny, Pam she would have not even had a normal childhood.
Blushhyy cheeks! Merlin they were just so adorable and Ness had to resist herself from pinching them. She shook her head and tried to focus on what the girl was saying, rather than what her cheeks looked like. This girl really was sweet. Nessie smiled at Ella as she returned the compliment. She wasn't sure if she'd agree that she herself was sweet too, but it was still kind of the second year to say so. "Thank you" said Ness with a small giggle at how quiet Ella had said the compliment. Maybe she was a shy one too eh?
Time just flew by faster then you expected it to. That's what tended to happen often to them. "I think we all grow up faster than we think." It was true. Some people always kept on going about how they wanted to be big already and yet there they were already growwing bigger and older by the second. It was actually scary to think about life like that. "You'll be all big soon" Though this meant she'd also be less cute soon.
That was a real joke! Renesmee giggled as Ella mentioned something about cool stuff in lessons. It wasn't that the things they learned about weren't awesome, it's just that they were much more difficult than most people thought. "Yeah, well as cool as it may seem...we actually learn kind of hard stuff, and I don't even want to think about OWL's next year." she sighed just a bit. Next year was going to be really busy.
Now that was just to adorable for words. She surely ahd an imagination. As Nessie pictured ducks in an eating contest she couldn't help but giggle. "That really would be funny..but you never know, it's not impossible for a human to win against them." she said as she threw some bread crumbs over to the ducks.
Pam nodded. "We just need to stay alive long enough to get a plan going, and then we attack." That thought scared her. She didn't want to fight. She didn't want to have to kill. For what they did to Benjy; for what they did to your family, Jez's family, Nate's family, and I want stop until they pay for what they have done to us." he really didn't care what happened to him, just as long as the others were safe and Team Wolf were out of their lives.

"Welcome." Ella answered with a shrug. She didn't know why it was so hard for her to accept and give compliments. For some reason it always made her feel quite sheepish. The second year couldn't help but wonder if that was something that would change with age. She kinda hoped it would.
Ells nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly with Nessie's statement. "I think so too. If feels like just yesterday I was eleven and receiving my letter!" Which had been one of the best days of the girls life, just FYI. "Now I'm gonna be...fourteen next term!" O__O Which was super old, yeah? At least that's how she saw it. "That's actually really scary. Fourteen is so ...OLD."
The blonde tended to do that a lot, make people laugh when she didn't mean to be funny. She wasn't quite sure why people thought she was a comedian but she took it as a good thing, mostly cause making people laugh meant she was making them happy. Or at least that's how she thought about it. "Yeah, I'm sure it is hard." She said with a frown, thinking about how much more work she'd have to do in the future. When Ness went on to mention OWLs, Ells turned to her with a reassuring smile. "But I'm sure you'll do great! I bet you're really smart!" Not that she had anything to base that assumption on, she just got that kind of vibe from the older red head.
Ella looked at the ducks thoughtfully before turning back to her fellow badger with a smile. "You know, I bet I could beat one. I know I look small but I can eat like an ENTIRE bag of gummy worms by myself!" And her green eyes grew a little wider as she admitted this, impressed with her own abilities. "I don't know if they could do that!"

Pam nodded, but was a little put off at how violent Jordan was getting. "But Jordan, we don't want to become them. I agree they need to be punished. But we shouldn't do it in their way." The last thing she wanted, was to have to stoop to their level. They deserved it, but they were better then them. At least she wasn't going to become one of them. That would mean they would win. They could be dead, but if the four of them did it Team Wolf's way, those guys would still win.

Omg! Yes! Renesmee felt the same way. It felt like only yesterday she was a cute little firstbie going to Hogwarts for the first time in her life. She would never ever forget the day she had received her acceptance letter. It was on of the best days of her life. She remembered how the owl had come that morning with a strange looking envelope, one that she had never seen before in her life. It was all a very unique and happy memory that she’d want to memorize forever and ever.
“It does. Doesn’t it? …I remember when I was first exposed to magic.” This too was another memory Nessie wanted to keep. It may not have been as happy as receiving her Hogwarts letter, but it was still something special to her. [b]You’re nearly as big as me then.” Ella was most probably thirteen now, which meant that she was only two years younger. Hmm..soon she’d grow, perhaps not too soon though. You think fourteen is old?” At this Renesmee blinked. Really? Fourteen old. Pshttt! An old granny that could barely move, now that was old not a young teenager. It just didn’t work like that according to Nessie.
The red head just nodded. It was difficult, but Ness felt it wasn’t necessary to get this poor little second year worried about work she’d only have to do in a few years time. It was for this reason that she decided not to talk about it a great deal. “I do alright, I’m not an a genius though.” She surely wasn’t. Kurumi, Lyssie and most Ravenclaws, those were the clever people… not really someone like herself. She didn’t mind though, Ness favored dancing more anyways. “I bet you could do better.” She said winking as she tried to encourage the youngster.
Now that! Was just plain funny and maybe cute too. Renesmee couldn’t help but giggle at what Ella had just said. It was even funnier when she pictured it in her mind and it ended up making her giggle even more. “I don’t think they could. I guess that makes you talented eh? Miss Gummy worm eater.” The nickname just sort of blurted out, Ness didn’t want to really tease this poor second year, but it just happened.
Well… Gwen was kind of wishing she hadn’t asked, since she sensed there was some sort of speech following. But still, she liked to consider him a friend, and therefore- she was willing to help. Sort of. Best friends story… I could work with that, the Ravenclaw told herself and drew her attention back to Mikey. But then he said something that made her think she was probably not going to give him any good advice. Dating. Pfffft. Ruining a ‘best friends’ story for this… These awful human attachments…, the girl thought, but then immediately decided to focus on his problem. ‘Well…’, Gwendolyn started talking, trying to find something to say. Come on… anything will do- it is not like you are the worst person to give advice, she told herself, even though she didn't believe a word of it.‘… why did you stop talking to her?’ She was trying HARD not to make it sound like an interrogatory, but if he wanted some piece of advice, then she needed to know the problem.
She was about to ask if he had apologized, but waited first for an answer to the question she had just asked. ‘You broke up because you didn’t really talk for a while...?’ That was a reason not to date someone? Gwen was never going to understand these people. The fourth year suppress a smirk. This whole love thing made her almost want to laugh. ‘I’m sorry… I’m not helping…’, she felt the need to apologize to Mikey. She hoped the other Ravenclaw wouldn’t get mad for this, but unluckily for Mikey, he just came across the worst person to ever give love-relationship-dating advice. ‘Have you ummm… tried explaining yourself?’ This was a yes or no question, she really didn’t care much for the details.
"I had a bad panic attack and ended up in the hospital. Rose came over and tried to get me to leave but I wouldn't go. After that, I didn't feel like talking to people; one of which were her," he said. Mikey bet Gwen thought he was a freak or poor ill person now. He never really told much people about it. Just teachers, staff, and close friends. With the exception of Hunter and now Gwen. But what more harm can it do to have one more person know? Mikey nodded. Well that and other things. The nerd bird couldn't be everything Rose wanted an needed. She needed a stable person; not him.
Mikey laughed. "At least you're somewhat trying. Effort counts, right?"

Ronnie walked down to the duck pond, taking a seat at the rocky edge. She sighed and watched as the duckies swam around, wishing she could have a duck for a pet. That'd be awesome. She'd name it Joey. Because that seemed like a good name for a duck.
As she sat there, she pulled out a bag of some pieces of bread out of her pocket that she had brought along for the duckies. She opened the bag and tossed a few pieces into the pond, watching as two ducks swam up and gobbled them. She smiled and looked around, looking for a friend to sit with.

Ella smiled as Nessie seemed to recall the first time she'd seen magic. Ella's first time had been more scary than...well magical. "Did your parents go to Hogwarts?" The second year asked curiously. She always wondered what it would be like growing up in a magical household. The blonde nodded when Nessie admitted that the thirteen year old was nearly as big as she was. "Not yet but I'm getting there!" And would probably be there sooner than she wanted. As for her next question, Ella smiled sheepishly. "Well...I guess I just think it's so much closer to being an adult than say...eleven is." Which was scary to think about. Ella was SO not ready to be a teenager...let alone an adult. She was already experiencing the crazy teenage mood swings and it had her feeling quite confused! Growing up was seriously lame.
Not a genius huh? Well Ella didn't know many of those so she could relate to what Nessie had said. Were there actual geniuses at Hogwarts? If so, they were probably Ravenclaws! The second year made a note to ask Harvey about that later. She smiled widely at the older girl when she then said she bet Ella could do better. "Me? N-no. I don't think so...I mean I try hard but..." But who could tell how she'd do when the lessons continued to get harder? She'd just have to wait and see. "Thanks, though!" Ella said sincerely. Nessie was quite nice and Ella found that she really enjoyed her company.
BEAM. BEAM. BEAM. To say that Ella loved the name Nessie gave her would be a severe understatement. "I guess that is my talent!" She mused, looking out at the pond thoughtfully. "I mean I do eat a lot of gummy worms and I also love them so..." So maybe she should just quite Hogwarts all together and become a professional gummy worm eater?! "I guess the name is quite fitting too! Ms. Gummy Worm Eater. I think it has a nice ring to it!" The girl added with a grin. "And what about you, what's your favorite sweet?" You know, since they were on the subject and all.
"I had a bad panic attack and ended up in the hospital. Rose came over and tried to get me to leave but I wouldn't go. The nerd bird couldn't be everything Rose wanted an needed. She needed a stable person; not him.
Mikey laughed. "At least you're somewhat trying. Effort counts, right?"
The fourth year listened to Mikey talk and as he finished, she could only answer with a small nod. Truth be told, she was probably the worst person to give advice for such situations. She couldn’t just be all sentimental... emotional and so ooon. No. Not at all. ‘I see’, she finally replied, not knowing what exactly she should have said. ‘If I were you I’d just go to this person-‘Rose, was it?‘-and talk to her’ There was nothing else she could come up with. Besides, from what he had been saying, they seemed to be good friends. And it would be odd if they wouldn’t get along anymore. In order to come up with another suggestion (though there were slim chances for something like that to happen), Gwendolyn drew her attention to the duck pond. But then she heard the other Ravenclaw say something.
Somewhat trying?
‘I hope so…’, she replied to his question about efforts counting. Because if it wasn’t so, then she was the worst friend ever. Since her piece of advice was something obvious that anyone could have come up with, the fourth year hoped Mikey would be able to solve the problem himself. He was a smart Ravenclaw, after all. She felt sorry that she wasn’t able to help, though.

Her parent’s at Hogwarts? Well of course! If it wasn’t for Hogwarts, Renesmee probably wouldn’t have even had the parents she did. “Yeah. My father came here from he’s first year and my mother in her fourth year.” She said with a smile as she memorized the love story her parents had always told her about how they had met. “My parents sort of met here, by the lake. They always go on about the whole story.” They really did, Ness must have heard the story over a hundred times. She possibly even knew it from back to front. "What about yours?" she asked. Being closer to an adult. Ella did have a point. “You’re not afraid of aging are you?” Ness would understand if she was, because she too sometimes wasn’t too keen on the whole growing up idea.
There we go. She tried hard, and wasn’t that good enough. Renesmee frowned just a little as Ella hadn’t agreed with her. “That’s what matters though, is that you try and do your best at everything you want to achieve, because then even if you don’t succeed at least you feel good about knowing you did your best.” That was true, eh? Renesmee thought it was, and she felt it was important too.
WOW! Somebody was in the mood of smiling widely today. Renesmee grinned back. Everyone did have their own talents evidently, and even eating gummy worms seemed like something awesome. “You like it?” she asked a little surprised. Maybe Ella wasn’t as fussy with nicknames as she was.
Favorite sweet. Hmm.. “What’s my favorite sweet..well...” Renesmee pouted as she thought. She couldn’t come up with any sweets though. “I’m more of a chocolate person, like chocolate frogs.” She said with a nod. That was a valid answer to Ms Gummy Worm Eater’s question right?
Selena liked running around the grounds some times. The best time to do it was when she had absolutely nothing to do and preferably after a wee too much sugar. The Slytherin head girl was running down to the duck pond. Why? She had absolutely no idea but she had grabbed some cookies from the kitchens and stuffed it into the stomach of her book bag so she figured she might as well, right? Her long brown hair flew behind her as she ran and her pygmy puff in her arms was so obviously displeased with the speed Selena was going at. And now that she was here, she couldn't remember if ducks like chocolate chip cookies or not.
It didn't matter. If they didn't, Selena did.
She spotted some blonde hair though - much like Emma's but... it wasn't Emma. Ech. It was the Gryffindor with the evil owl. "It's you!" Selena said, pointing at the girl and glancing at the chocolate frog. Was that for eating? Selena wanted to eat a chocolate frog - they tasted yummy in her tummy.

Jordan struggled slightly to think of what to say, "I know, its just I'm so frustrated and scared, and I don't know whats going to happen to us and to be honest thats what scares me the most," he stammered, slightly afraid of how he'd gotten angry like that. "I'm sorry about how violent I went then, I honestly have no idea what came over me," he said to Pam apologetically, he'd seen that she had been put off at the way he'd acted.

Ella listened as Nessie confirmed that both of her parents had gone to Hogwarts. That was quite nice, that they too walked the halls of this school. It must make Nessie feel a little more at home here. Oh, and her parents were the kind to go on and on about how they met? Ella's parents used to do that too. "That's cute." She said with a small smile. And it was cute. When the conversation turned to her own parents, Ella frowned. "They..." Aren't together anymore. Don't speak. All because her mother had up and left her without any warning. "Are muggles. So no... They didn't go here." And she wouldn't cry. Not out here in the open like this. She had finally got to the point where she could hold it in when discussing her family so she simply bit her lip instead.
Ella brightened up a bit after hearing Nessie's little speech. Well that was true. If someone tried their very best at something that meant that they could be proud of themselves even if they didn't get top marks or whatever. "See? You are quite smart." Because she knew all that very grown-up stuff and had made Ella feel better too.
The second year nodded enthusiastically. "Course I do! I love gummy bears...and I do eat them a lot so it is the perfect nickname." And no, she wasn't really picky about nicknames...as long as they weren't mean or anything!
Ella was actually quite shocked it was taking Nessie so long to pick her favorite sweet...mostly cause she had feel in love with gummy worms instantly and preferred those over everything else ever since. Though she did love gummy bears too...AND ice cream. Just saying. Oh! A chocolate frog lover, eh? "Mmmm! Those are delicious." She said, rubbing her belly with a smile. "You can be...chocosaurus rex!" Teeheehee!
Jordan struggled slightly to think of what to say, "I know, its just I'm so frustrated and scared, and I don't know whats going to happen to us and to be honest thats what scares me the most," he stammered, slightly afraid of how he'd gotten angry like that. Pam put an arm around his waist for comfort. "I know how you feel, Jordan. We all feel that way. No one really knows what's going to happen. And because of that, we need to be careful, and just go with it. We just need to be quick on our feet, and quick thinking." She looked up at his hair, and ruffled it with her free hand. She had noticed that it had turned a bit red, which meant he wasn't really remembering the fact that he, like herself, was like a mood ring. "Just don't get too worked up about it."
