Angelina smiled and joined her on the ground and took her shoes off. "I've been so busy. I finally have some time off. What about you?"

"Same." She sighed, "With quidditch and classes..." Tay trailed off.

"Yes same, it's been a lot. I've lost track of everything really, with time," she said while looked down at the pond.

Taylor nodded and agreed with her, "Aint that the truth!" She sighed.

Angelina chuckled a little. "I can't believe the school year will be coming to an end soon. Then we will be in fourth year."

Tay sighed, "I know right?" She grimaced, "Just about three more years..."

"I can't wait until we are in upper class," she said, "There is more things to do." She looked down at the pond again.

Taylor nodded and smiled, "I agree." She laughed.

Anya turned her head back toward the ducks when Messer returned the smile. And she just sat and watched the ducks for a few seconds with a grin plastered to her face.

She gave Messer a half shrug. "I guess it's better knowing it happened..." Because, apparently, it had happened before and she had no idea. She thought that was the scariest part. "No. It's fine. Really. It's just kinda weird to think about."

Anya played with the ends of her hair and cast an embarrassed smile toward the ground. "Really?" she asked. She honestly didn't really think anyone would be interested in her like that.

"He's in Slytherin." she replied. "He's in our year." And he was also her older brother's ex-girlfriend's younger brother. Not that that was important. But that was how they met.

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before looking up at Messer. "You know... you don't have to be super jealous..." she said with a little shy grin. "We could go on one. You know, if you want."

Jory was surprised at the push but he grinned. There was something fun about his new friend.

Her next statement confirmed his guess. "What position do you play?'' he asked, interested. "And how come you didn't try out for the Gryffindor team this year?''

"Have you narrowed down your interest?'' the Badger asked. He reflected on his earlier years. "I've always had a quiet and normal life. My dad always brought home interesting stories from work and having a little sister who always kept me busy took up a lot of my time,'' he said reminiscing.

When the ducks didn't try to attack him and his bun they kinda look alright. But he won't say that out loud.

"I guess so." he shrugged. "Oh okay." But he still feel bad that he kinda bring back that topic in the first place. So enough about the frozen accident they have a better topic after all. Anya's dates.

"Yeah really." He was surprise that Anya didn't know this. "I mean you are cute, smart.." Obviously "amazing, a great Quidditch player and you have a beautiful smile" he whispered the last part.

A Slytherin. Oh. That's explained why he didn't know the guy. He didn't have that much 'snake' friends. "If he ask you on one would you go with him?" he asked curious.

Go on one? Did she just ask him on a date? GRIN. "I would love to go on a date with you." That would be fun, right? He looked at Anya's eyes "So, Miss Anya Phillips, would you like to go on a date with me?" he held out his right hand.

"I played Beater for the team and it does suit me better than Chaser." Alex replied. "I did but I slept in during some of the try outs I think." she laughed remembering those days waking up to a few of the girls in her dorm changing out of their Quidditch stuff.

The fourth year thought about that for a moment. "I don't really know something along the lines of Quidditch, music or art. How about you?" Alex smiled.

Well… Gwen was kind of wishing she hadn’t asked, since she sensed there was some sort of speech following. But still, she liked to consider him a friend, and therefore- she was willing to help. Sort of. Best friends story… I could work with that, the Ravenclaw told herself and drew her attention back to Mikey. But then he said something that made her think she was probably not going to give him any good advice. Dating. Pfffft. Ruining a ‘best friends’ story for this… These awful human attachments…, the girl thought, but then immediately decided to focus on his problem. ‘Well…’, Gwendolyn started talking, trying to find something to say. Come on… anything will do- it is not like you are the worst person to give advice, she told herself, even though she didn't believe a word of it.‘… why did you stop talking to her?’ She was trying HARD not to make it sound like an interrogatory, but if he wanted some piece of advice, then she needed to know the problem.

She was about to ask if he had apologized, but waited first for an answer to the question she had just asked. ‘You broke up because you didn’t really talk for a while...?’ That was a reason not to date someone? Gwen was never going to understand these people. The fourth year suppress a smirk. This whole love thing made her almost want to laugh. ‘I’m sorry… I’m not helping…’, she felt the need to apologize to Mikey. She hoped the other Ravenclaw wouldn’t get mad for this, but unluckily for Mikey, he just came across the worst person to ever give love-relationship-dating advice. ‘Have you ummm… tried explaining yourself?’ This was a yes or no question, she really didn’t care much for the details.

Jordan grinned, he never got to talk about quidditch with anyone! He'd never realised that he could've easily done so with Pam this whole time! "I dont think they'll be up for the challenge," he teased, hoping that Jez would take the bait... She'd became awfully quiet which was weird. He smiled thinking about his broom, "It's the Firebolt 600, the newest one I think. Which is yours?" he asked with the same amount of enthusiasm as Pam had.

Pam smiled excitedly. She would love to see his broom. Especially because hers was old. "Mine's from my grandfather, on my mom's side. It's a Moontrimmer. They're really old, and they stopped production. But my grandpa was around when they were being made. When my mom was older, he gave it to her. But she really didn't like flying, so she kept it. And she gave it to me before my second year." It was one of the things that kept her to her mom. Every time she flew on the broomstick, she was reminded of her mom, and of a time when things weren't so hectic.

Jordan gasped, "A moontrimmer? There's only a few of those left now isn't there? Can I see it one day?" he asked excitedly. "They were meant to be such brilliant brooms!" he jabbered on for a bit before noting the look on Pam's face when she mentioned her mum, once again he didnt know what to say so he gave her another squeeze with his arm still around her.

Pam nodded. "It's here at Hogwarts. Up in my room. I'd love to show you some time." She also needed to take it out for a spin sometime. It had been a while since she had gotten on a broom. "Do you think it's possible to get on the field this year and try them out?" She noticed Jordan's arm get tighter around her for a moment, and she smiled. "I'm fine Jordan, really. Things happen." She had come to accept that these things happen, and no matter how many times she cried, they weren't coming back.

Anya nodded. They could... just move on and not talk about it anymore, right? That would be best.

Anya felt herself blush as Messer laid on the compliments. She cast a little smile toward the ground. Cue internal squee. She seriously doubted that she could hide the heat in her cheeks.

The Gryffindor planted a swift kiss on the Badger's cheek. "Thanks Messer." she said quickly averting her eyes back to the ground. "I think you're really great too." Really, all the same things he said about her could be said about him.

That. And Messer was really funny.

She gave a little nod. "Yeah. It could be fun." Besides, who was she to say no if someone just wanted to go out on a date.

Anya couldn't help but grin at Messer's next question. She put her left hand in his right. "I'd love to Messer."

As soon as those word came out from his mouth a small blush appeared on his cheek. Which he hope Anya missed it.

Yes she did! She DID kiss him on his cheek! He unconsciously touched his recently-kissed-cheek "You're welcome." And thanks for the kiss too. She thinks he's great too? "Thanks, Anya." he grinned widely.

Yeah. It could. But what's people do on a date actually? He still hasn't figure out that part yet.

Messer held Anya's left hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "So, where do you want to go on this date?" He has a few ideas but he will let the lady choose the place.

Jordan nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah the pitch is usually open for people to practise in! We should go there soon!" he said, feeling excited by the prospect of flying with Pam. He smiled apologetically "I'm sorry, I don't even realise I'm doing it.. I'm glad you're fine though, I just like to make sure." he shrugged slightly, he had came to accepting Benjy's death so he could understand that Pam had with her parents.

Pam's excitement grew when Jordan said the pitch was open. She would love to go there sometime soon. Especially with school being almost over. When Jordan appologized, she just smiled. "No worries. Thanks for looking out for me." It was nice to have someone care for her again. She felt that not many people did. She hadn't seen Nate in months, and she didn't really want to burden Jez with all of her problems, when she had enough of her own to worry about.

Jordan smiled, "No problem at all," he said, "We've got to all look out for eachother don't we?" he grinned at her. "So..." he began, pondering on a thought he'd been having for a while. "What are the chances that we'll have a quiet summer holidays this year?" it would make a nice change, but with their track record of deaths, Team Wolf, near-death experiences and horcruxes; it was highly unlikely that they would get away from all of that drama this time around.

Pam really didn't have to ponder this question. She had already ruled out that option long ago. "Not likely. The fact that we haven't heard much from them this term, means that this summer could be a rough one." She wasn't looking forward to it at all. They haven't even found a place to go yet. She hoped Keegan and Des had found something that wasn't in the allies. Then again, they could be harder to spot if they were hidden within the allies of Diagon Ally. It was an option Pam had thought about, but not one she had really liked.

Jory pretended to look really shocked as Alex said she held he Beater position. "How can a young lady like you have enough strength to whack the bludgers?'' he teased.

He laughed when he heard she'd overslept. "What were you doing the night before?'' he wondered aloud. "The girls should have woken you though.''

Jory also paused before he answered the question. "Something involving detective like work.'' He wasn't sure yet if he wanted to work in the Muggle or Wizarding world as yet.

Jordan nodded, "Thats a good point," he nodded, "The quieter they are makes it seem as though they've got something major planned for when we are on holidays, we're going to have to be really careful this way around." he said, remembering their traumatic summer last year. "I really don't want a repeat of last year, we weren't expecting it at all and they almost caught us.. And they hurt my head." he smirked, rubbing the small scar on his head.
