Book club meeting 1
To make a boyish dream come true Mr Kitridge is this term hosting a book club for all the book lovers of Hogwarts. To join the club of reading hogwartsians come to the first meeting.
When: May 8th 2012
Where: The library
Who: All years and any staffers too.
What to bring: A favourite childhood book to be used in book discussion and a smile on your face.
Other comments: This is the year 2077 and 'current' books ooc are no longer current. You can bring either a muggle or magical book. Remember though that your charrie needs to know why they are reading a 60 year old muggle book. It also won't make sense for a pureblood character who acts like they know nothing about muggle to own one. You are allowed to make up titles of wizarding books your character have read.

(ooc: This lesson will be a review of the Elder Futhark and the basics of runes which is what was covered last term, so if you attended last term then please do not come to this class).

For those students who did attend class last term, I am setting you an assignment to do while this current class takes place.
With your new rune sets that you made in the last class of last term, I would like you to find a quiet place either in the castle or out on the grounds and take your runes with you.
I would like you to complete the final step of making a rune set and that is to Energise or Consecrate your rune set. You may be as creative as you like. Whether it's a chant, an offering to the gods or maybe you'd like to do a little dance. It's totally up to you. However you think it will help your runes bond to YOU.
This assignment is worth 15 points.

Any First Year who brings their own broom will lose 15 house points for breaking the long-standing school rule about First Years not being allowed brooms.
Arguing with Professor Vindictus regarding this rule will result in an automatic detention and possibly losing more points.
