Winter was setting in to the grounds and with it came a whole new set of responsibilities for taking care of the growing dragon known as Roro. Dragons were wild creatures and by nature liked to have free roam of wherever they were living; however, having a dragon at an educational institution meant that Professor Williamson had to take certain safety precautions when getting said dragon ready for winter.
Today, he had set up the barn for an afternoon full of work; the students didn't know it yet, but they were all going to be acting as dragonologists in training today. First things first though, they had to get here, and Willy had to finish setting up.
Sitting just outside the barn door was a horseshoe-shaped assortment of hay bales, all of which had been charmed to feel as though one was sitting on a sun-warmed rock. Inside the open barn, and just visible to those sitting on the hay bales, was a giant, emptybaby pool and something that looked like a big harness....
No professor was in sight though. While you wait for class to start, why not take a seat and at least keep your bum warm?
It was chilly outside as Silvia made her way down to the barn. She hadn't cared much for Care of Magical Creatures last year, but the arrival of a certain little dragon earlier in the term had sparked her interest a bit. Finally arriving at the barn, the small Ravenclaw looked around. The professor wasn't anywhere in sight, so she took a seat quietly on one of the hay bales.

She entered the area with the other sutdents. EHHHH a gaint baby pool and a harness, what the little adorable dragon had gooten even bigger already?! She sat with the others and waited for class to start.

Sierra pulled her coat tighter around her body as she made her way outside and onto the grounds of the school. She paused and stared at the classroom's setting from a distant. She only hoped WWW had his senses about him and had done some magic to warm the area. Putting one foot in front of the other, Sierra finished the walk down to the instruction area.
She plopped down on a hay bale and sighed softly as she realized that yes, WWW had been sensible enough to warm the area with magic. Now a lot warmer, she looked around the area, taking in the sight of the baby pool and the harness. Another lesson with Roro? Well, WWW seemed to be late for his own class hadn't shown up yet, so only time would tell, she guessed.

With COMC class as always outside and the cold weather of winter becoming more and more evident, Gideon had bundled up to keep warm. The prefect then headed out thankful for the added layers as he made his way out towards the barn where they were to meet up. There there was a horseshoe of hay bales and a gathering of students already there, however Professor Williamson didn't seem to be around, at least wasn't visible.
Looking around for any familiar faces instead, Gideon spotted Kurumi already there. "Hey Kurumi," he greeted with a polite smile as he walked near her, taking a seat on the other side of the horseshoe seeing as there was a free spot. Oh...warm hail.

Alex figured that they'd be doing something with Roro the dragon again during this lesson, but once he entered the classroom area, he had no idea WHAT that possibly could do. Why was there a little baby pool in the room? Would they be giving the dragon a bath? Hehe. That might actually be kind of fun!
He looked around and found a hay bale a few feet away, right next to his sister Sierra. He plopped down and gave her a little smile. "Hi," he said politely. He didn't really know what to say to her...they hadn't even spoken since term had started!
"Umm, congrats on the badge, by the way," he added. I'm a little jealous, he thought to himself, but of course he'd NEVER EVER EVER in a million years admit that to her.

Walking toward the front of the barn with two heavy buckets of dragon food in his hands, Willy seemed so surprised to see a class of students gathering around the doors that he nearly dropped both buckets.
Huh. Guess he had posted a notice about class.... yeah, yeah guess so. He remained standing there looking shocked for about five solid minutes before something shook him from his trance.
"Oh, hello," he greeted the class, nudging the empty baby pool off to the side so that he could set the dragon food down. "I guess it's time for Care of Magical Creatures, eh?" He chuckled and glanced over his shoulder as if he was expecting someone else to show up.
Well, no matter. He'd go get the dragon shortly. "So, on the topic of magical creatures, we're going to pick up roughly where we left off last lesson with Hogwarts' resident baby dragon, Roro."
ROROROROROROROROO!
"Before I go fetch the baby," Willy grinned to himself, remembering the last time he'd told someone that he had a baby, "does anybody know what I have in these two buckets?" He gestured toward the dragon food. "Here's a hint: humans would find the content repulsive...."

Indy had a feeling that she was still going to find the dragon baby ugly. She had first time, and she was sure that the baby was not going to have changing that much. It'd be interesting to find out though. But she was was interested in finding out about how to look after a dragon. So that was why she was here. Not to like look at a dragon that may or may not be cute. She kind of stood up a little to look at the buckets. Hmm. Surely he had the same stuff in there that he had had last time. And she had kind of stood up. Indy raised her hand. "Er...blood?" Because that was rather nasty to eat.

Minerva could only imagine, "Well if we are talking about the baby dragon, then could it be food for it. Like dead animals or blood or whatever that a baby dragon might need." She didn't really know exactly what they ate, but she was hoping she might be close.

Ooooh, there he was!
... but no baby dragon.
Anyway, as the professor with many W names came forward, Nora couldn't help but stare at those two buckets. They were obviously food for Roro, but was the tiny creature actually going to eat that?! "Dead things, Sir?" She suggested after raising her hand. Well, dragons probably liked dead, disgusting things.

Hannah was really diggin' the warmth. She looked up when she heard the professor come with some buckets. Hannah had an idea about what was in the bucket and also an idea about what they are probably going to be doing this lesson.
Roro was pretty cool yeah, but she wasn't really wanting to feed the dragon or anything.
"Professor I think there is blood and raw meat in there." What kind of meat she didn't know and didn't too much care either. Bleh!

Penelope didn't like the cold. Never had. Probably never would. But the creatures class was kind of fun even if she didn't know much about all the things they learned, so she wore several layers of clothes and was curled up on the warm hay bales with her knees pulled up to rest her chin on and with her arms wrapped around her legs, keeping herself warm as she watched the professor approach.
What was he carrying? Apparently he wanted them to guess. Penelope raised her hand only enough for it to be seen without pulling it too far away from her body. "There's food in it, I guess." That was as specific as her answer was going to get. How was she supposed to know what dragons ate that humans didn't like?

Okay, so Sierra was actually about to engage in polite conversation with Alex when the professor finally decided to make an appearance. Her brown eyes turned the professor for a split second and then she looked back at Alex with...A SMILE. Yes, a smile. Thanks, that smile seemed to say. There may have also been a haha, you didn't get one, too in that smile, as well, though.
Turning back to WWW, Sierra made a slight face. "There's blood in there," she said, looking toward the buckets as she raised her hand. Do you have anymore chocolate eggs, WILLY?! Tee hee. The dragon's name was Roro. She should get a hundred extra points for suggesting that brilliance.

He shifted his gaze from the pool and the harness towards the Professor when he came to view. But before the Ravenclaw could greet the other man he stared at the Professor who seem to have been frozen on the spot. He shifted his eyes around wondering what the Professor was staring at or what got him to just freeze up like that. But before he knew it, the Dragonologist began speaking as if nothing happened.
Vickers blinked back bewildered. What's up with that? He shook his head and tried to focus on the question at hand
Should he raise his hand? Well up it goes anyway "Professor, dragons would usually feed on a combination of chicken blood and brandy..." he started as he eyed one of the buckets "... and the other would be some kind of raw meat, such as rats." He knew that brandy isnt actually repulsive for people but mixing it with any sort of blood can be quite upsetting to most, and he wouldnt even being to rationalize how anybody can find rats appealing.

Ewe, that cute little dragon eats blood "Well I know that little baby dragons eat some kind of raw meat but do they really drink blood. Thats Gross!!", Oichi said with a repulsed look raising her hand.
Laura looked at the Professor and smiled. "You have water in one of the buckets and food in the other for whatever you are going to show you." Laura giggled she wasn't sure if she was right. "It's either that or you have holes in the bucket."
At this point, Aspen came to CoMC more to study Williamson than any other Magical Creature.
Had everyone else noticed him entirely zone out? For a full five minutes? Aspen had started timing it after the first thirty seconds or so of catatonia. She had several theories about his brain.
One day, when he died, Mungo's healers should dissect his brain. Really. Maybe Aspen could do it?
She also vaguely wondered if he really knew what was in the buckets himself? Or you know, had he forgotten and needed a reminder from his students? Either way they were learning, so Aspen didn't mind. Aspen, with vague amusement coloring her expression, scribbled down some notes from her comfy cozy hay bale seat, slightly away from most of the other students. It was best for Ravenclaw that Aspen NOT answer, or even speak to, Professor Williamson, so no answer from this Odessa.
Disgusting things? What kind of hint was that? It could have been a hundred and seven million different things with that kind of hint. Merlin, it could have been body parts, blood, chocolate frogs... There were a million options. But then she thought about his hint of disgusting things and one thing came to her mind. How did it take her so long to think of it? The answer was right in front of her face, "Professor... Is it filled with chocolate frogs?". Shudder.

Alyssa was glad to see the Professor approaching two buckets containing something. From his hint, it definitely wasn't for human consumption. Alyssa raised her hand and hazarded a guess.
"Professor is one bucket filled with chicken blood and the other smells like some stinky thing that the adults drink." Alyssa paused trying to remember the name of the drink that made the adults behave dumb when they consumed too much of it.
"Uh it starts with B....I got it. Is it Brandy or Single Malt Whiskey?" Alyssa was never good with those names.

A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
"I know.." the Slytherin mumbled after Kurumi had told him he didn't need to ask if he wanted to sit down next to her. But it was polite wasn't it? What if he sat down and she didn't want it? But before he could say more , Professor Williamson had walked in to the barn. Looking completely like he had no idea he was supposed to teach a class. Odd...
Daichi quickly sat down on the seat and placed his school bag on the ground. He raised an eyebrow when the man told them he would get the *baby* soon and his mind. He had a baby? aww so cool! It didn't occur to the Slytherin that he meant his dragon because Daichi would never think of a dragon as a *baby*
It was only when Williamson asked if they knew what was in the buckets did he noticed that he had them in his hands. Hmm... something disgusting.. "Blood, sir? or" he thought for a second before he raised his arm back in the air. "Rotten flesh" he made a face at the last thing. And that disgusted face turned in to disbelieve when he heard someone say Chocolate frogs. His mouth dropped, the glasses on his nose slided down a little bit as his head snapped to the source of the voice and found out that it was the Gryffindor Captain. Pffft! "chocolates aren't disgusting..its the best food EVER."

Ella watched Professor Williamson curiously as he seemed to just realize he had scheduled class for this day. Hmm...Adding that to the other times he had seemed to have memory loss and the second year could only conclude that this man was definitely suffering from old age. Yikes. Poor guy.
She eyed the buckets curiously when asked what might be inside. What was it that baby dragons were fed again? It was a combo of something....Oh! "Professor, isn't that stuff blood and brandy?" She asked, sticking her tongue out in disgust. No way she would ever eat-erm drink that stuff!

Well, it certainly seemed that Professor Williamson wasn't quite prepared for the lesson, except for maybe making sure that the hay bales were charmed to be warm. But the question wasn't about preparedness, it was about dragon food. What was in those buckets? Lily didn't know for sure so instead, she blew on her gloved hands and rubbed them together to try and get a little warmer.
So much for heating in the area... She would do anything for a fire right now...

Alex peered at the buckets from his comfy, heated hay bale and wrinkled his nose. Dragons were cute, but man did they have AWFUL taste buds.
He raised his hand. "That'd be chicken blood and brandy, wouldn't it?" he replied. That was all that baby dragons ate for a while, right?

Sophia made her way down to the ground, wearing her black boots that laced all the way up to her knee and her black cloak billowing behind her because of how quickly she was moving. Even if it wasn't her class and she was not a student, she certainly did not want to be late for Williamson's class. No, because if he turned up to her class even just to look around and he was late she would certainly kick him out.
She smiled slightly when she got there and saw that in fact she was still pretty early. The professor wasn't even that much into his lesson yet. She looked around the area, just where were the students suppose to sit? Certainly not on those hay bales, she would not be sitting thanks. Instead the professor stood a little ways to the side and watched.

Violet wasn't sure what to think about the contents in the bucket the professor had in front of the pool, but the stench made her gag. She could already smell it from the spot she was standing. Even with the horrible smell, Violet still raised her hand to answer the professor's question. "Um. Professor, would it be blood mixed with something else for the baby dragon?"
Violet wished she could go inside Hogwarts where it was warm and toasty instead of standing here freezing in the winter's chill. She shoved her numb hands in her pocket hoping they would have feeling in them again. Maybe the dragon could breathe a fire for them and warm up the whole class.
Sophie looked in professor Williamson's direction when he spoke. She hadn't noticed him getting close to where they were. She blinked when he kind of froze for a while. Wha...?
And now a question! "That could be chicken blood and brandy." Like the others were saying and like she had written down in her homework assignment. It was disgusting enough in her opinion!
