The charms classroom has been completely transformed from the last time you were here. Instead of the hard well polished stone floor, there is a a fluffy white carpet
SPOILER!!: carpet
that covers the entire floor. Colourful cushions
SPOILER!!: cushions
are also placed in neat rows where the desks and chairs usually stood. In the corner of the room stands a large container filled with balls

.
There is a sign just outside the door to the room in bold flashing letters :
Please remove your shoes and place them in your book bag or in to the side of the class. As is usual ensure that you are properly attired and neat. When you do enter, pick a cushion and sit on it, keep talking to a minimum.
There professor is standing at the front of the class with her arms folded waiting for you all to be seated.

Alex wandered in to the charms classroom and saw the entire place had been decorated differently than usual, and the one thing he REALLY wondered about was the beach balls. Other than that the change really didn't phase him, since he felt like the professors in this school changed their classrooms more than normal people changed their hairstyle.
"Good morning Professor!" he said as he took off his shoes and selected a bright green cushion to sit down on.

With her book bag slung over her shoulder, Sierra Greingoth arrived at the entrance of the Charms classroom. Looking in, she saw that it was carpeted, and that colorful cushions lined the floor. She did eye the balls in one corner of the room, but she didn't pay much attention to them otherwise. She guessed they'd hear all about them at some point and time.
"Hello, Professor," she said, her brown eyes flickering up to the woman standing nearby. Sierra took off her shoes and shoved them into her bookbag. Then walking further into the room, she chose a green cushion and took a seat.

Oakey always took walks around the grounds so his shoes were always covered in dirt and other things. He had just come from the Magical Creature Sanctuary and was sure he may have stepped in some of the animals droppings. So he left them to the side of the class near the entrance. Hopefully no one will trip over his shoes as they came in. He stepped onto the carpet and felt the fluffiness of it through his socks. He nabbed a yellow cushion and brought it to the back of the class where he spotted Mordy sitting. He he moved across the carpet and nodded to the Charms Professor and said Lovely day today isn't it Professor Bellaire. He sat the cushion down and sat on top of it. Hey Mordy he said, mind if I sit beside you?
Mordred made himself more comfortable as he sat on the green cushion and pulled up his legs up to his chest. Looking out the window, he can’t help but think that soon, he will be going back home for the holidays. He wasn’t looking forward to it, and was seriously considering spending his vacation over someone else’s house.
Breaking his train of thoughts, he looked up to see Oakey holding a yellow cushion and asked him if he could sit beside him. Mordred gave a nod and placed his book back behind him, making room for Oakey. “Any luck with your rabbit’s foot?” he asked in a hushed tone.

Upon approaching the Charms classroom Kennedy's eyebrows rose into his fringe. He was in the right classroom, right? Just to double check he glanced around out in the hall. Yep, this was THE classroom. He read the flashing letters, shrugging he took off his shoes and slipped them into his book bag careful not to wrinkle the parchments inside.
As Kennedy made his way into the room he noticed the cushions and the balls. Were they going to play a game? That's what balls were for. He took a green cushion after thinking of the many games that could be played. The Prefect then glanced to the professor and with a polite nod he said, "Good day, Professor Bellaire," and sat down.
Sophie was ready for the Charms lesson. She wasn't sure about what to think about the new professor, but last class they learned a really cool and useful spell. She made her way to the third floor wondering about what they would learn that day.
She noticed the sign and did as she was told, placing her shoes in her book bag. When she finally entered the room her eyes widened and sparkled. So... COLORFUL AND FLUFFY! With a big GRIN on her face, she walked in and felt the carpet on her bare feet. Lovelyyyy! "Good day, professor! The classroom looks lovely today!" She said happily, sitting down on one of the cool cushions.
Aspen wasn't usually nervous for class, but today... today was a little different. Today was actually a LOT different. This would be her first day with her new wand.
And so far? Her new wand had not been all that cooperative.
With her hair down like a blockade curtain, Aspen quietly entered. She scanned the directions, the room, the Joao's, and then proceeded to follow the directions. She slipped her shoes off one at a time, and stacked them near the door, a little away from everyone else.
Then she did with herself what she did with her shoes: put herself in a spot away from most of the other students.
Bellaire really was lucky as far as Charms professor's went, in Ellie's books. So far, she didn't dislike her. In fact, she was very much leaning towards liking her. Or, at the very least, respecting her. However, it was still just a bit too early in the year for the eighteen year old to make her final decision. She knew better than to jump to conclusions.
And the professor was only winning more points today. The first thing Ellie noticed were the balls. And balls meant sports. And sports were nearly always fun. The carpeting was probably for extra padding. Meaning a rough sport, hopefully. Good things. Then there was the fact that they could sit upon entering, like normal. Very good.
The redhead slid her shoes off in the back corner of the room, then found a yellow cushion near the middle to sit on. Bellaire had yet to earn front-of-the-room status, clearly. As well as a voluntary greeting.

Charms. Good subject. Max had enjoyed their homework from last class, thereby raising his opinion of Professor Bellaire. It wasn't that he had a low opinion of her in the first place or anything - he simply appreciated writing assignments that he could relate to his interests.
Before he entered the classroom, he took a moment to read the flashing words. Remove... shoes? That was weird. They weren't dirty or anything. He kicked his shoes off, revealing black socks, and picked them up by the heels. When he entered the classroom, the first thing to catch Max's eye was the container of colored balls. Would they get to play a game? He had no idea what kind of games they could play relating to charms, but he had high hopes, nonetheless.
Max laid his book on the ground along the wall and set his shoes on top of it. As he walked toward the cushions, he bounced on his heels, looking down at the fluffy, snow-white carpet beneath his feet. Very fluffy. Then, he spotted it: a perfect, Ravenclaw-blue cushion. Oooo. As if someone was going to snatch it before he got there, he hurried toward it - giving a nod of greeting to the professor as he passed - and he gracefully dove onto the cushion. His.

Professor Bellaire certainly wasn't Professor Schirmer, but then, Stella had gotten to see the former professor in the seminar she'd attended. Therefore, she was perfectly happy giving the new Charms professor a smile as she stepped in the door to the Charms classroom. "Good day, Professor," she said, slipping her flats off and sliding them carefully into her school bag as she stepped further into the room. Toes instantly curling into the soft carpet even through the tights she'd worn that day. It was hard not to respond to the decor in the classroom, honestly, and she was half-tempted to just lie down on the carpet.
She didn't, though. Instead, slowly walking to keep the experience with the carpet going as long as possible, she made her way to a cushion and sat down, not far from the familiar redheaded figure of Ellie. And she made sure to arrange her skirt delicately once she'd sat down. She was fairly certain the neatness rule extended to their clothing even after they'd sat down, after all, even if she still just wanted to curl up and relax into everything in the room. The only curiosity was toward the bin of balls, as that kind of made her think otherwise about all the cushions and squishy carpet.

Addie was interested to find out what they were going to do for their next charms lesson. Before she could enter the classroom however there was a sign telling her to take her shoes off. Weird. Addie took her shoes off and then entered the classroom. It was completely different from their last class. The floor was a carpet and there were cushions on the ground to sit on. This was awesome.
"Hello Professor," Addie said with a big smile on her face. "How are you today?" Addie asked as she navigated through the cushions before finally taking a seat. "I like the classroom setting," it was very cool. Last class they were folding clothes and sweeping. What would they be doing with cushions, carpet, and the balls that were in the corner of the room?

Violet was close to stepping onto the nice clean white carpet when she stopped in her tracks. The professor would get really mad if she didn't take off her shoes first. She quickly yanked them off her feet, then placed them neatly at the side of the classroom where the rest of the shoes were. Now Violet was standing by the door with her bright pink socks and staring at the rest of the classmates who were getting cushions. She half ran, half speed walked to the pile of cushions, grabbed a nice squishy blue one.
Violet hugged the soft pillow to herself and sat down by the rest of her classmates. She saw the box of balls at the front of the classroom and wondered what they were going to for this lesson. Violet sat and waited patiently for the lesson to start.

Ella walked into the second charms lesson with a smile. O__O It looked really different than the last time she had been here. Much more cozy. Making sure to remove her shoes, Ella placed them neatly in her bag and then headed over to pick a cushion. "There must be a green one here somewhere..." She said, picking through the pile. "Aha!" Grabbing the lime green cushion, Ella headed for a spot on the carpet, greeting the professor on her way by. "Hey Professor, I love this carpet."
Elliot was quite excited for the second charms lesson of the year...she always enjoyed charms. It relaxed her. She even found herself enjoying the yoga...sometimes.
Her smirk, however, diminished as she read the sign on the door. She wants me to take off my shoes? She glanced down at her flats, scowled, and with a HUGE eyeroll slipped off her shoes. Luckily, she had worn little socks...she had a weird fear of barefeet. EW.
She stepped into the classroom and put her shoes off to the side. She gasped at the...SIGHT. It was horrid...and...COLORFUL. Elliot wanted to shield her eyes. The white carpet was nice, though, but those pillows...horrendous. Elliot hoped she would never own nything that obnoxious in her life. Ever.
She shuffled to sit down on a blue pillow(Ravie pride!) and plopped down. "Professor," she nodded her head in the professor's direction. "bit colorful in here today..." she tried not to look too annoyed by this. But she so was.

Kurumi had been trying not to be too judgmental about the new approach to Charms, knowing that each professor approached each subject differently and that it was just a matter of getting used to things, but Kurumi had sensed that her lions' moral had gone down just a bit after the first lesson and she had been trying to build them back up as best she could.
Entering the room, Kurumi was a bit taken aback by the scene, but swiftly slipped her shoes off and placed them in her bag before finding a red cushion to sit on. "Good day, professor," Kurumi said with a polite bow before taking her seat. Kurumi removed her bag from her shoulder and set it neatly on the floor beside her and then tugged on her pony tail to make sure her tie was secure. Her violet eyes drifted over to the pile of balls in the corner and she eyed them rather suspiciously.
Balls and cushions...fuzzy carpet....no shoes...interesting.

Minerva went to her charms class and was very surprised to see the sign on the door. She read it and thought it was odd that they had to take their shoes off, but she didn't argue and took her shoes off putting them in her bag. She walked into class and looked around. The carpet was so comfy she bounced a bit on it and then smiled and waved at Ella. She found a place to sit and sat down.

Alright it was time to get started. Sophia checked her watch, and whoops she had waited a little bit too long to get started, tardiness was not acceptable even with her, ugh, it was a good thing she was not a house-elf otherwise she would be punishing herself right now. She waited for the last of the stranglers to get in before flicking her wand and shutting the classroom door. She had given more than enough time for everyone to get there.
"Alright, settle down class, we're starting. I'm sure you're all wondering why the change of decorations.." She looked at all the curious little faces, secretly inspecting them all."Today we'll be looking at the hovering charm. The incantation is Wingardium Leviosa." The appropriate stresses were observed."The wand movement for this particular charm is a fluid swish and flick." She demonstrated the movement using her finger not her wand."I'd like you all to do the movement for me without your wands before we move on to the class activity."

Wow she got started quick now didn't she, Minerva thought. She listened as the professor said and did the movement of their first charm they were working. She said the word in her head a few times, Wingardium Leviosa. Then she watched as Professor Bellaire showed the movement with her finger. She took her pointer finger and swished and flicked it in the air hoping she was correct. She did it a few more times just to keep practicing.
Elliot's wand was safely tucked in her robe pocket. She wanted to something a bit more challenging, but as there were first years here, she supposed that this was a good way to ease them into it. She liked this charm, it was simple and easy...thus far. Maybe it got harder the heavier the object was? Hmph.
Elliot held out her arm and did the SWIIIIIISH and FLIIIIICK with it. Quite easy. Elliot smirked smugly, glanced around to see if anybody was having trouble....*snickers*

Ella smiled. She knew all about the hovering charm. As she recalled, her best friend Sophie was quite good at it. The second year watched carefully as the professor demonstrated the movement. Swish and flick, got it. Placing her wand down at her side, Ella held up her hand so it would be visible to Professor Bellaire and copied her hand movement. *Swish and Flick* She then looked back up at the professor, eyebrows raised, wondering if she had done it correctly. She really wanted to master this charm, especially because it was quite a useful one.
Justin listened as the professor began the class then showed them the wand movement and then instructed them to practice it with their hands ... no wands. So, he practiced the motion and said the incantation under his breath until he was satisfied .
As Bellaire flicked the door shut with her wand, Max peered around the room, examining the expressions of those around him. Ellie was there, he suddenly noticed, which was odd. Usually she would've been the first thing he identified in the room. How had he missed her red hair? Regardless, he looked at her for awhile, waiting to catch her eye while Bellaire spoke. His gaze fell upon the professor once more when she gave instructions.
Wingardium Leviosa? Well, all right. It wasn't the most exciting topic, but his dismay toward the idea morphed to positive thinking as he eyed the multi-colored balls in container. It wasn't just being taught or refreshed - they were going to get to do something fun with it, he assumed. Grasping a non-existent wand in his hand, Max gracefully swished and flicked.
Nigel was excited he was going to do the hovering charm today. So the professor wanted him to start with the a fluid swish and flick. Nigel could do that. Swish and flick, swish and flick. Nigel kept on thinking as he swish and flicked his finger hoping he had the motion right. He would keep on doing the motion until the professor told the class to do something else

Kurumi sat up straight on her cushion when Professor Bellaire officially began the lesson and simply nodded when her suspicions were confirmed about them possibly using the Hover Charm for this lesson. Thankfully, Kurumi had had a lot of practice with this particular charm since she used it every opening and closing feast on her cookies, so the sixth year was rather confident in performing this one.
Kurumi set her wand on the floor in front of her for the time being and lifted her index finger on her right hand to perform a simple, but fluid, swish and flick movement while she whispered the incantation under her breath. After doing this once or twice, Kurumi lowered her hand to her lap again and waited for further instructions.
