The match was over. The game equipment had been stored, and a hot shower had been taken. Now it was time.

The Deputy Headmaster burst into his beloved common room and shouted loud enough for the entire house to hear. "VICTORY IS OURS!" Vindictus shouted gleefully. "Slytherin has been DEFEATED!"

He walked over to an empty study table and took out his wand. Hopefully the kitchens had got his order correct. Two taps and the table was suddenly laden with treats.

"It's time to celebrate and plan the next step of our conquest for greatness!" he exclaimed and immediately helped himself to a slice of the rich triple chocolate cake.

CAPTAIN Ellie. Felt. AWESOME.

It wasn't just that they won. It really wasn't....just that. But that they beat SLYTHERIN. Those pesky Snakes that STOLE their trophy over the past few years. Well, they showed them, yeah?

Yeah.

Nia'd be proud, no?

And.....no, probably not Jacob. He'd probably be upset no one got bloodied up too bad.

But Nia'd be proud. And Ellie was proud of her team. And THAT was what mattered, yeah? So they COULD relax and eat the OMMHUGECHOCOLATECAKE!!!

THAT was what she made a beeline for, pocketing the Snitch along the way. It needed get dirty. Then she helped herself to a VERY generous slice.

No food fight, though? This cake was too precious to waste.

Oh and, "Hey, Professor." BEAM. Was he PROUD?! Also....could she ask him those questions now, rather than in his office?

Vickers entered the common room, his telescope and camera in hand, having just checked out the Astronomy tower. There looked to be a celebration going on, with his Head of House and the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain being all in high spirits. Clueless but smiling, the Eagle boy neared them and eyed the scrumptious chocolate cake "Deputy Headmaster. Captain." he greeted them "Whats with the cake?"

SO. THAT. They won their first match and it was against Slytherin. Yaayyyy! It felt so good. Not only having defeated the most unbeatable team but it was extra special for her since it was her first time to really play in the field with her team mates. She was just too delighted to even make words for how she good she felt after the game.

Having finished getting a shower on the Ravenclaw Locker Room, Beezus followed their Captain back up to the Common Room. She was tired and exhausted from the game but she really wanted to have more bonding with her team mates.

Professor Vindictus, the Deputy Headmaster and their own Head of House seemed to have thought the same thing as her for when she entered the Common Room, there was a table full of treats and she heard him congratulate them for the victory. She couldn't help but smile. She played only a small part but her delight was way beyond the ceiling. "Thanks Professor." The plan would have to wait. Right now, it was time to celebrate! "Captain, well-played." She also commended their captain who was one of the main reason they won. The girl was so fast that the snitch couldn't even fly far from her. Then she faced Vickers, "Hi there Vickers. You did not come to see the match?" Oh. Not a very good supporter. "We won against Slytherin."

Beezus then helped herself with the delicious looking cake, without even considering the fact that it was chocolate. She was completely forgetting her allergy because of their victory.

Parrty. Partty. Indiana was pretty happy. The team had won the game, so that was pretty epic. And now they were going to have a party. Indy hadn't really been to a proper party, not a house party. So this was going to be really fun. Indy beamed, as she bounced into the common room. She couldn't play in the game, which had been pretty sad to her, but they had won. And that was all that mattered. Hopefully she'd be able to play the next one. Hopefully.

Oooh! Lookie. Ellie was there. And Beezus. Yaay. "Well done guyys." Little Hutchinson beamed at everyone. She was very proud of them.

Eino had been buried in his studies, so he hadn't been able to support his team at the quidditch match against Slytherin. This was very upsetting, especially because he had played last term and knew how much the support of other classmates was appreciated. He had, however, heard all of the cheers from the grounds, but didn't know Ravenclaw had won until he was going up the moving staircase and heard it from a few gossiping first years. When he reached the common room, he laid his books and bag on the first available table and joined the celebration party. Maybe no one would have known he missed the match, though he lacked the energy to act excited. "Contrugalations-- Congratulations!" No one noticed that either. Hopefully. Good mother of Merlin there was food? He hadn't seen that in exactly sixteen hours and twenty-six minutes. Time to pig out.

Whooooa! So Ravenclaw won against Slytherin!, the third year thought as she entered the common room. Quickly scanning the place, the girl could tell everyone was joyful and excited about the victory. Heh… and their head of house looked really proud. Anyway, they totally deserved to win- everyone on the team played very well. As soon as she entered, Gwen recognized some students that were on the Quidditch team. ‘Congratulations!!’, the third year smirked.

Max was... there. A little late, but he was there, nonetheless. After the match, he had gone for a walk around the grounds before heading up to the common room. He had guessed there would be a party, but he wasn't sure since it was only the first match of the season, so he took his time getting back. He had done his best to clear his thoughts of all negativity - they had WON, after all. Ellie had been a star. Vashti had been a star with her goals. But Max... wasn't all that pleased with his performance. During his time meandering the grounds, he realized it wasn't important. They had won. It was likely that no one even remembered how many shots he failed to save. They were a team, and as a team they had been good enough to beat last term's champions. That should have been good enough for him.

Upon entering the common room, Max was happy to see that the party had indeed begun. Even Vindictus had joined them! Though there were students already congratulating Ellie on her excellent captainship and winning snitch grab, Max wasn't going to let that(nor the presence of Vindictus) scare him off. When a housemate moved away, Max took the opportunity to slip in, not before catching sight of the scrumptious-looking cake. His stomach rumbled. "Congratulations on your win, Oh Great Captain," he greeted, a hint of teasing behind the title.

Yes! Ravenclaw won! Victory was theirs!

"Congratulations guys!" Jayden shouted, her mouth forming into a huge grin. She was elated. This year was off to a great start!

Minus the fight with Elliot... that is.

"Cael darling! We won! We won!" She cried, tackling him in a huge hug before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him excitedly before backing off a bit.

So. Much. Excitement!

Vashti took her time down in the showers in the Ravenclaw locker room. She had been enjoying the hot water, not only because it was cold and snowy outside, but because it was REALLY cold and snowy outside. That hadn't mattered so much while she was playing, since she was far more focused on the Quaffle and avoiding the Bludgers (especially after she was knocked off her broom by one), but once the game was over and the adrenaline and excitement over winning had faded, she had realized how cold and sore she was and headed straight for the showers.

She couldn't stay in there forever though, so eventually she got out, bundled herself up in the layers of clothes she'd worn before the match, wrapped her Ravenclaw scarf proudly around her neck, and ran for the castle as quickly as possble. By the time she reached the Ravenclaw common room, she was nice and warm once again.

But then her day got even better.

As soon as she solved the eagle-shaped knocker's riddle, she heard the cheering going on inside, and she couldn't stop grinning when she realized it was a party for their win over Slytherin. A Ravenclaw party? Yes yes a MILLION times YES!

She grinned as she looked around at everyone - until she spotted CAKE. CHOCOLATE cake at that. YES. Come to Vashti!

"This looks absolutely amazing," she said to anyone who would listen/agree as she helped herself to a good-sized slice.

As she turned away from the table, about to take a bite out of her slice of chocolate cake, Vashti caught sight of a much younger girl kissing a guy. "Oi!" She understood the girl's excitement over Ravenclaw's win, but she didn't think PDA was exactly a good idea while there were prefects, their Quidditch Captain, and their Head of House were in the room. At least the kiss didn't seem to last too long though.

"Mhhhmmmm.." that cake was just too good. What was its flavor again? Beezus was about to prop another piece of the cake into her mouth when suddenly a cute little creature fellow second year came bursting into the Common Room. It was Indy!

Beezus placed her cake on the table and stood up. "Indy! Thank you a lot." she told her. "And why weren't you in the game with us?" because well..she was just a great chaser and they could really use great team mates like her next game.

And Eino. Why was he stuttering? She walked over to where the Prefect was, "Heeeeyyy..I haven't seen you around." Was he that busy? "Congratulations to all of us, that is." Because their team's victory was also their house's win.

Then she returned to the sit on the chair she sat earlier on when Gwen arrived. "Gwen! Thanks," Beatrice chirped as more Ravenclaws joined in on the fun.

That was when she noticed their Keeper, helping himself with the cake. N'awwww.. He really did a good job at saving so many shots. Though not all, but he did very well. She was too hyped for she stood up again and faced her team mates. "And the Keeper who kept the snakes from scoring has arrived." she looked at Max and gave him a small grin.

And of course, here comes their Head Girl and ultimate chaser, "Vashtiii! We won! And I really need you to teach me your awesomemazing chasing skills!" she exclaimed as the girl helped herself with the cake. Shifting on her seat, Jayden then arrived congratulating them, she gave her a raised eyebrow in a joking manner with a small smile.

When Vashti pointed out her little behavior with her boyfriend, Beezus couldn't help but giggle. However, her giggles halted all of a sudden when she started feeling a slight itch on her face. "OHMYHOLYQUAFFLE!" she bursted out. "I just ate chocolate! Oh no..." she said with a horrified-yet-enjoying-the-situation expression.

Cornelius wasn't even aware that there had been a game, let alone that Ravenclaw had won! It was an unfortunate side affect of being a new student; half way through the year and he was still trying to get the swing of things. Well, most things he had figured out, but finding his way to a Quidditch pitch would've proved a little much for the exchange student. It was only as he entered the Common Room that he realized something good for the House had happened; quickly gathering that they'd won a Quidditch match. This realization was of course helped by all of the shouts of 'Congratulations' and such.

But it was in the next moment that he spotted Eino - just the man he'd been looking for! In fact, nothing was more true. He needed to talk to Eino about something they'd previously discussed, because...well, things had changed a bit. "Eino!" he called, making his way through the crowd towards him. He grinned before gesturing over towards a more quiet area of the Common Room, leading the way.

The first voice caused Ellie to pivot in a way that made the cake teeter dangerously on it's plate. Because...ANYONE who knew ANYTHING would know WHY there was CAKE at a Ravenclaw celebration, no? So the Captain was NOT impressed with someone's lack of knowledge of the recent, epic goings-ons that involved Quidditch. Something that EVERYONE should pay attention to.

When she turned, though, she only saw Vickers and....well....she HAD to cut the new kid slack, didn't she? "WE WON!!" Ellie BEAMED at him. WON! BEAT SLYTHERIN! WON!

BEAM.

Beezus quickly popped up. Almost of no where. But that was her THING. She could just APPEAR. That's why she did so EXCELLENT in the match today.

"You too, kid," Ellie replied, careful to keep her plate HIGH and SAFE.

Indy got a nod of thanks. Ellie knew she wished she could play, so it wasn't rubbed in her face. "Go help yourself to some cake." The girl could still celebrate with them.

THAT was the voice the Captain most wanted to hear. And Ellie didn't hesitate wrapping Max in a one-armed, tight embrace. Really, she shouldn't have gotten her cake AFTER she was bombarded by people. Or at least eaten it quickly.

But as far as Max was concerned, she didn't care sooo much about the cake. She wasn't letting it go, either.

"Hush." 'Oh Great Captain'. That begged for an eye roll, that comment. Instead, Ellie went the retort route. "You were excellent, Oh Great Keeper." Truly. It might not have been his best game, but there were forces beyond players' control sometimes. He was still excellent, and he played excellent. Okay?

"Get cake." Ellie wasn't going to wander far. She was going to stick near Vindictus.

The chocolate cake was sinfully delicious, and Vindictus knew that one slice of the heavenly cake wasn't going to be enough. But as the Ravenclaw Quidditch players arrived as well as other members of the house, it was apparent that the cake was going to vanish soon.

"Nothin' beats celebrating like having chocolate cake," he grinned and took another bite. "So, how many of you are going to the Astronomy slumber party? I'd hate to be the only Ravenclaw there."

Grin.

"Sorry!" Jayden shouted, blushing profusely as she walked over to grab a slice of cake. "MMmmmmm!" The cake was fantastic, almost better than the taste of victory for her house.

And there was that girl. Beezus or whatever. Those two could never seem to be able to make up. Oh well. Jayden was over it, and totally not going to let anything get her down. "Hey. Congrats on the game." She addressed the girl, before turning back to Cael. "Good cake, huh?"

"I'll be there professor!" Jayden called out before taking in another bite of the cake. It was just too good. "Good game guys! Keep it up!"

Woot! Was that a..a...a compliment..from their..their...captain?! How awesometasticamazingcool was that? Beezus fought all the while to keep herself from blushing. "T-thanks Captain. But I still need MORE training." she repiled. And that was just the truth.

"I agree Professor," she said as she turned to face their chocolate and victory-stricken Head of house. "But it's CHOCOLATE!" Quickly, she jumped off from her seat and jolted up to the Dormitory, when she was back, she was already carrying a small vial. "I'm allergic to that.." she said to no one in particular as she opened the vial and drank from it. Now that was better, the effects took place almost immediately.

Oh, and the Slumber Party! "I'll be there Professor." Beezus mumbled as she slipped the vial after closing it on her pocket.

Oh? Jayden wasn't going to banter with her? But then again, the Head Girl and Head of House was there so she figured the girl got scared. "Thanks.." she told her and propped another piece of the chocolate cake into her mouth. "Good cake..yeah, when you don't forget to drink your potion," because that was what happened earlier. She forgot just because she was too happy with their win. And although she had taken the potion, she could still feel slight itching on her face.

He happened to glance at the clock in the room and realized it was time he took his leave. "I'll see everyone at the Astronomy sleepover thing, and don't forget to attend my Broom Care class!" Vindictus announced to everyone in the common room. He sat his empty dessert plate down on the table and walked over to the door.

"I'm expecting Ravenclaw to dominate this term, so don't let me down. Later!"

With that said, Vindictus left the common room.

Annabeth returned not as quickly as she had hoped as she couldn't find the gift, "Here it is, I hope you like it, I didn't know what to get you so..." she handed him the present, wrapped in blue paper, she egarly waited to see what he thought of it.

"Beth you dont have to give me presents everyday and i'm sorry that I dont have anything for you right now.......but anyway thank you dear.....you wrapped it nicely.....what it this? Do you want me to open this now?" He asked her thankfully.But he was bit ashamed of himself for not having anything for her.

She smiled, "Your my friend, I do!" she told him, "Of course! I can't wait to see what you think!" she smiled, I hope he likes it! she said to herself, and waited for him to open the gift.

Elliot slid into the common room, a heavy book and a quill tucked behind her ear. Her blond hair was loose, and her eyes looked a bit puffy. But that didn't mean anything...she may have allergies...yep, that was it. Allergies. She ignored Jayden and barely smiled when she heard the news that they won. Who cared....

not Elliot.

She plopped down on the floor in front of the fire and opened her book. She began to scribble notes into the ancient textbook, and she reread some of her father's old notes. it was kind of like looking into the past and seeing him, as a student, at Hogwarts. Most of his notes were very complex to little Elliot. She wondered why he was put into Slytherin and not Ravenclaw...he was so intelligent. She barely understood any of what he was saying half the time in his old books.

The Morganzo hadn't spoken to anyone in awhile, what with Jayden being angry at her and Caelius being the enemy by association, so she wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even have a voice anymore. But she didn't care. She was through with trying to please everyone..

EVERYONE.

Taylor walked into the common room, smiling. She sat down in one of the seats by the fire and took out one of her books. Tay was currently reading The Scarlet Letter and was loving it. She didnt care that it was a really old book as long as it was good, which it was.

"Being my FRIEND is the greatest gift you can give me.you've already given it to me.So i'm more than pleased with it." First he wanted to open and see what is it.Then he decided to open it at the dormitor. "..may be I'll go to the dormitory.To see this.If you dont mind.....dont worry whatever you give me...I'll like it........." Then he watched her eyes to fine out whether there's any change of expressions.

Annabeth smiled, "Really, well I'm glad you like me being your friend," she really liked Sam, he was always so kind, "Ok then, but be sure to tell me what you think of it!" she smiled again, "Your the best friend ever!" she told him sincerly. "Hey Sam, what's your last name? I don't think you ever told me," she felt so stupid asking, but she couldn't remember.

"hehe" Sam smiled shyly." thanks.you are my best friend too....mmm sure I'll tell what I feel about this." He placed that gift box beside him. "haven't I told you before......that's strange.Anyway my full name is. . . Sam Chathuranga SNAPE.....I know what you gonna ask next. . . .' how did a muggle born guy have the name of one of the greatest wizard and a former hogwarts teacher's name....'

right? . . . . The answer is I don't know."
