Taylor read the letter and smiled. She hugged her tiwn and then her friend. Tay handed the letter to her friend so she could read it herself.

Trinity started to jump up and down.We going to have Nero as a brother yay.then Owls can in with gifts for all three girls.

"I guess this is good news?" Ameliah said while the letter was thrust into her hands. She spent all of five seconds reading it, then looked up, grinning. She squealed a little and hugged her friends tight. "Better tell her I don't have real family left. I guess I'm going to be your sister! Now," she declared, whirling around to face Taylor, "Boy. Confess. Now." she said with authority.

Ameliah's eyes widened. "Gifts? From who?"

TAylor started jumping up and down with her twin, "This is awesome!!!!!" She was super excited for vacation now. Tay had a big beaming smile on her face.

"I'm so happy that Aunt said yes." She smiled. Taylor raised her eyebrows in surpised when Ameliah swirled around and with authority told her to confess about the boy. Tay laughed and shook her head refusing.

Taylor opened hers, "I got two books and a dress." She smiled and looked at Amleiah, "What about you, Am?"

Sis what book did you get she said with a smile.Oh sis you can wear new dress on your day with your new boy toy she laughed.Come on Am open then we wanna see what mom got you.

"I got..." Ameliah shuffled around some tissue paper. She split out in a grin. "Textbooks, except they're 4th year level. We haven't even met and she knows I'm advanced in witchcraft and love learning! She is, like, the all-knowing goat, except she's human and obviously nicer!" Ameliah was excited for her new family. She couldn't wait untill the holidays.

Trinity smiled she is smart that way she giggled.Wait Until you met our brothers.their both Kind,Funny,and loves to pick on Henry.Do Ya Think our Brother Alex will help in the breaking them up.

"I think Alex might." Ameliah said superiorly. "And," she dropped her voice, "if he needs 'persuasion', I'm your girl." she said mysteriously.

Taylor smiled at her sister, and fri.... new sister? "Just some scottish books." She laughed then blushed, "He isn't my boy toy, Trin." She slapped her twin lightly, "Hmmmmm maybe he will." Tay nodded, "Most likely."

"I got it." Ameliah whistled and a handsome brown owl with a green beak flew in and perched on the table. She wrote a letter and tied it to Levrell's (her owl's) leg. "This is for Alex McIntyre." With this simple command, Levrell flew out. "I got to go to sleep." she hugged her sisters and left for the dorm.

"Night." She hugged her friend..... erm sister...... friend sister? who knows, good night.

Raising her eyes from the notebook for the second time, the Ravenclaw was surprised to see another girl standing in front of them. ‘Hello’, the third year said curtly. ‘Of course you can’, Gwendolyn smirked and made room for the new one on the couch. There, now just don’t be rude, she told herself. ‘Nice to meet you’, she said and extended her hand. 'I’m Gwen'

As soon as the introductions were over, Gwen looked back at her sketch, actually feeling relieved Violet was more interested in the guitar and the other student. Fine by me!, the third year thought and continued drawing a few more lines. This is coming out rather good!, she felt the need to congratulate herself. Tee hee.

"Yes, my sister taught me how. Since then I became hooked to it." she replied and smiled.

Aki started playing again.

"Oh, thank you." she replied and smiled brightly.

At least someone appreciated my guitar. she thought while continuing on playing her guitar.

Violet already saw the way the third year reacted to her. Probably because I'm SO much more younger than her. No one realized that Violet was actually only 1 year younger than her. She had a late birthday and was also injured during last term. This girl didn't seem to be interested in Violet at all, but why not have some fun with this right now? "Hi Gwen. Sorry for my curiosity, but what are you drawing?" she said peering over at the girl's notebook.

Violet smiled warmly at the girl. Now this was a girl she would appreciate. Violet sat down beside her to listen to her play. "What your name?" Violet hadn't heard the girl introduce herself yet. She would have felt bad if she didn't know the girl's name.

Enya didn't really know what to say to her best friend's first comment, she obviously had a worst childhood than Louisa but she still felt some sympathy for the girl. NOT THAT SHE WAS GOING TO TELL, or course. Instead she shrugged off the sentence and sharply said, "Can we change the subject!? I don't want to know about your rubbish family problems" Okay so that was harsh.

Pouty faces? Really? Enya raised her eyebrows at Louisa's face and rolled her eyes. They never worked on her, "No I bet you were hoping I had up and left!" Calm Enya Calm, she told herself taking a deep breath and sitting back in her seat where she had started to rise. Enya had a WHOLE rant in her head ready to burst but then Louisa changed the subject shocking her a little. "I'm fine!" She snapped once she had got her breath back.

Jayden stomped through the door, her eyes flashing angrily. She was so upset with Elliot it had taken her some time to calm down and answer the question to get inside. Her jet black curls were soaked, and her robes were dripping with pond water.

Oooooh. Elliot. That girl was SO going to get it.

"Has anyone seen Caelius?" She asked, feigning sweetness through gritted teeth.

She could only hope Cael would help her fix things with Elliot... or at least make the girl apologize.


Hmph.

‘That’s nice…’, Gwendolyn nodded. Truth be told, she always wished to have an older sister. ‘It seems difficult’, the third year had to admit. There were awfully many cords and things that looked like buttons at the very end of it. Glimpsing back at the girl, the third year didn’t know whether she could ask her to teach her sometime how to play.

‘Umm- do you think you could teach me sometime?’, she smirked. Yes, she was dying to see if her talent at playing instruments was as bad as her singing. Perhaps I’m not such a disaster when it comes to music, the girl told herself and turned her head back to Aki, who started playing. WOOOW. ‘That sounds really good’, she had to admit.

As she raised her head from the notebook, Gwen was surprised to see the other student look so… erm… puzzled? Erm, maybe it is because I’m not such a nice person, the third year told herself. Psh, so what!? Not everyone is supposed to be nice and sociable. Pleeease., the girl told herself and tried desperately not to roll her eyes.

‘Well, I started sketching a part of the suits of armor… ‘, she started saying, and after making a short pause, she added: ‘I actually came across them earlier today’ Mmm… somewhere on the second floor. ‘But so far, it only looks like a lot of lines. I’m trying to get the proportions right’, Gwen smirked and showed Violet the sketch.

"Oh I'm Akira, you can call me Aki for short." she replied and smiled.

Wow. She's kinda nice. Aki thought.

Akira heard the third year spoke so she looked at her.

"Yes, at the start but once you learned it by the book all you have to do is play it by the heart." she replied.

She looked at her and smiled,

"Of course, that would be awesome." she said.

Now, this is cool. Sharing my talent with others. she thought.

Then she heard the girl's reaction,

"Thank you." she said and returned to playing the instrument.

Violet saw the sketch that the girl was working on. It didn't seem like much that she drew, but it was looking pretty good. Violet grinned at the girl and said. "That's looking nice so far, actually! You're so talented. Never really was great of an artist, except for painting." . Why get on the bad side of a person if there wasn't a need to anyway? I actually thought it was a nice sketch so far so play nice, Violet "Well, I shouldn't bother you too much with your drawing. I'm probably distracting you right now eh?"


Violet grinned at her. "Ooh. That's actually a pretty name. It's so..unique." She looked over at her guitar. "Could you play some songs right now? I see you have a guitar in your hands." Violet knew how to play the piano as well, but she wasn't going to tell this girl just yet.

"Thank you." she replied.

Then she heard the girl requested,

"Sure, no problem.." she said.

Akira started strumming her guitar and hummed the song, Breakaway, it's her favourite song and it made her think of her sister.

How is she now?? she asked herself.

Cael slowly descended the staircase from the boys dormitory, lazily scratching Jupiter under his chin while his mind wandered. He smiled when the ferret gave a rare purr for his efforts, snuggling closer to his chest for warmth. Cael smiled indulgently at his familiar; it was an exceptional day indeed when the ornery little bugger was actually pleasant to be around.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs he draped Jupiter across his shoulders, intent on heading down to the kitchens for a light snack when a feminine voice floating across the common room caught his attention.

It was Jayden. And she was... soaked.

"Merlin, Jay. What happened to you?" he asked, rushing over and patting his hands over her arms and sides worriedly as if checking for injuries. "And why on Earth are you wet?" he asked incredulously, taking a step back to look her over from head to toe.

She had a lot of explaining to do...

Jayden was furious and very, very upset . How could Elliot have been so mean? They had been friends, and had been growing close even; but now Elliot seemed as if she no longer cared. "Come, sit down.." She mumbled, looking up at him pathetically as she sat down in the chair next to his. "It was Elliot. We got into an argument.. I meant to apologize to her, I really did..." She paused looking up at him guiltily. "And then she called me a beast and hinted that I ought to live in the forbidden forest, so I told HER that she could go live with the trolls since she really looks and acts like one. AND THEN she dumped a very large bucket filled with pond water onto my head, books and robes!" She finished, her eyes filling with tears as she attempted to suppress a sob.

"She is soo cold! I am so upset. We as students of Hogwarts, and especially as purebloods are supposed to have much more self control than that!" She groaned, taking in a deep breath.

"I'm sorry darling, I'm just SO hurt. I don't even know what to think! And I just bought these Herbology guides too!" She cried, placing her hand in is and squeezing it as she wiped away tears with her other hand.

"And then of course there's the issue at home too... I just heard word......" She hesitated, looking into Cael's mossy green eyes as she waited for him to react.
