Lily trudged along the corridor of the train trying to balance her trunk and her owl cage with Phoenix in it as she made her way to a compartment. Sticking her head in, she asked. "Do you mind if I...HEY Lilly!!! How's it going?...oh and do you mind if I join you?" The little claw asked Lilly and the girl that she didn't know.
Ira was just comforting Lilly, when another girl stepped into their compartment. Ira smiled at the girl, and asked, "Hi! I'm Ira.." and then made a little sign indicating that the other girl was a bit.. sad.
But because of the new girl, she at least now knew that the weeping girl's name was Lilly! "You two are friends?" she asked smiling at the first year.

At least now Gwen’s mother won’t forget to give him some food.
As she finally passed by a compartment door, the girl nodded. The place was rather empty. Just someone reading there. Hmm. This should do, the third year told herself and pushed the door. ‘Hello…’, Gwen started saying, but suddenly stopped as she noticed the owl. Wasn’t it…?‘Jory!’, the young Ravenclaw grinned, as she finally took a seat by the window.
Hoping that she wouldn’t disturb his reading, the third year unfolded the newspaper she’d gotten a couple of days ago, but didn’t have the time to read. After having read the titles of the articles which seemes more important, Gwendolyn drew her attention towards her friend. ‘How have you been?’, she asked with an actual smile on her face. ‘I don’t think I’ve had the chance to tell you- but congratulations!’ Yes. Hufflepuff deserved to win this term. Even if she wasn’t very pleased by this, Gwen had to admit- they had deserved it.
As the compartment was almost empty, the girl let Jinx take the seat besides her, only… the cat seemed to be looking too mischievous at the pigmy puff. Wooops.‘So you’ve kept the Pygmy Puff?’, she mused, while tapping the seat besides her to make sure Jinx was still there.
Jory was so lost in the world of the book he was reading, he failed to notice the door to the compartment had been opened. It wasn't until he heard his name that he was jolted back to the real world. Looking around, he was pleased to see his friend. "Hi,Gwen!'' he said a goofy grin on his face.
As Gwen took her seat, Jory watched the cat. It was looking at Furball as if dinner had come early or something. Furball on the other hand, didn't seem to be paying much attention to the cat. Trusting that Gwen would take care that the cat wouldn't try to gobble Furball up, Jory now scanned the headlines on the newspaper.
When Gwen spoke, Jory smiled to himself. "I don't think the old Gwen would say that with a warm smile on her face,'' he thought. He was happy she was more friendly now and he was sort of proud of her. But the boy didn't know how to tell her that, he was never good with expressing feelings. "Thanks,'' he replied. The Puffs' work really paid off this year. He was especially impressed with Alyssa, whom he think juggled school work and being on the Gobstone and Quidditch team. "You know, earlier we were afraid Ravenclaw was going to pass us again.'' Ravenclaw definitely kept the Hufflepuff on their toes even if the Ravens didn't know it. "You guys didn't do bad yourselves,'' Jory added.
Jory cast an eye on the cat and then at Furball. "Yup, I grew attached to him since the lesson where we learnt about them,'' he said. "Plus, I think my sister would like him.'' The cat was still eyeing Furball who was now humming softly. "What's his-or her name?'' he asked nodding towards the cat.
Ira sighed with relief once the girl had accepted some chocolate. And yes, Ira was sure, that chocolate could heal wounds. Because.... well, it was chocolate!
But what was the knut for? Huh? "Uh-huh!" Ira shook her head sideways, and knitted her brows, and said, "Come on!" she sighed, faking annoyance, "I didn't sell you a chocolate! Just gave you one as a friend..." They were friends right? Ira just assumed that they were.
So she slipped the knut right back into the girl's side pocket. "Err.. whats your name?" Ira asked. She did feel a bit foolish, but asking was better.
Ira looked on as the now-calm girl thought about something. Maybe about which friend she could stay over summer? Or maybe about how to escape from her so-called terrible dad?
Oh! So Rupert! Sister's best friend's older brother? That was a long relation. "Just because he is your sister's best friend's older brother doesn't mean he is your friend too.." Of course not.
And then began thinking. Lilly could spend the summer with Ira too, IF she wanted too. It would be so much fun! But Ira was kinda feeling awkward asking this to a girl she had just barely met..
"I'm Lilly," she felt stupid not saying it before. Just because she thought she knew the girl's name, the girl didn't know her's. "Is it...Ira?"
"I love my dad, he's just..." It was hard to say, "Hopeless. If he wanted us back he'd pull himself together." Who knew, maybe he was trying his best to find a job at that very moment. Not likely. But he didn't mention anything like that in his occasional owls. So maybe he wasn't trying to give them false hope? There was a slim chance...
"Rupert's fine. It just feels weird. He's not the right replacement, somehow." After all those happy times with her mum. That was the happy thought of her attempt at a Patronus in first-year. She got a tiny wisp, so it must've been the right thought. Rupert had owled her telling her about all the fun activities he had planned. She was glad she didn't go back for Easter of Christmas.
Lilly looked up to see LILY there! Nearly as good as ROSE! "LILY! How are you? I'm great! Ira, this is Lily!" If her name was Ira. She hadn't actually answered yet, so...

Reason: I didn't realise Lily was here!
Annabeth made her way to an empty compartment, she sat down and waited for Sam to come, they had never finished their conversation in the great hall and Annabeth wanted to tell Sam her answer.
There was no way on earth she would be going back to the Chase's house, and she didn't want to be going to live in a care home, hopefully Sam's would be fun! She looked out of the window for a bit, then rooted through her bag to find her favourite muggle book, smiling, Annabeth looked down at the pages and began to read, her thoughts lost in the world of reading.

Fee made her way to the back of the train:Neither did she find an empty compartment at the front nor at the middle. Her friends seemed to be lost and the blonde started to get worried.Had she missed something?Like a secret meeting spot? The girl didnt really spent that much time with her friends due to OWL stress but that couldnt be the reason everyone disappeared.
Looking around the Slytherin found an empty compartment not to far away.Sighing relieved the 5th year made her way to it.Why did she pack so much?Seriously her shopping times would break her neck one day.How could clothes weigh so much? Not that Feenella was the strongest but for a girl she could handle a lot. it probably where her shoes that got her suitcase this heavy.
Not even botherin with placing her suitcase anyway she threw herself on the comfy seat and breathed out.Phewww.Done.

"Harvs I think if no one is there to pick me up I will be okay alone, I want you to just go home, okay?" Then Logan came in acting upset. Minerva jumped up concerned. "What's wrong Logan, what's going on?" she sat him down on a seat and watched him closely.
Minerva saw the shock on Ella's face and couldn't help but smile. "Ella there is a lot you don't know about this little group." she glanced at Harvey. "It just gets thicker and thicker as it goes on. Jordan trudged along the train corridor with only the slightest trace of fear in him, Team Wolf will surely be after him, Jez, Nate and Pam this summer, it was an inevitable outcome. He was looking in every compartment he passed to find the 3 Ravenclaws, and there they were... Well two of them at least.
"Hey guys," he smiled and half-waved at Jez and Pam as he levitated his trunk and owl cage onto the ranks opposite the other luggage, he sat down tickling his owls neck and shooting a warning look at Rowena

At first, the third year really hoped her friend wouldn’t mind her keeping him from reading. But a small smile appeared on her face as he greeted her. Good. He didn’t seem upset.
At the Ravenclaw comment, Gwendolyn gave a small smirk. Hmm. She should really try to do her best next year. Waaaaait- next year. ‘Do you realize we are going to be fourth years?’, the girl asked, looking totally puzzled at Jory. ‘Fourth?’, she mused. How in Merlin’s beard?!?!
‘I see’, she smirked as she looked at the Pigmy Puff. Though, it wasn’t the kind of pet she would keep. Not really. As Jory mentioned his sister, Gwen gave a small smirk. From what she had heard of Grace- Grace was the name, right? – ayway- from what Gwen heard of her, it seemed she was a great person. As she pet Jinx, more like to make sure he was still there, she drew her attention back towards Jory. ‘His’, the girl nodded as she took the black furball in her arms. ‘It’s Jinx’, the third year added.
But as she let the cat back down on the other seat, Jinx jumped off and started walking towards Jory. Erm. Or at least Gwen hoped he wasn’t going towards the Pigmy Puff. But no. She was right, he only headed over towards the Hufflepuff, looking curiously at him. ‘Meyow’ Man… this cat sort of liked everyone. Not that Gwen would mind, but Jinx could have at least scratched Zeke. Oh. And this reminded her of that promise she made. Try hard to be nice. And change.
Truth be told, she hadn’t really made great efforts to hold onto it. She hadn’t changed almost at all… but being nice to people wasn’t that bad, and she didn’t even have to make great efforts. It hadn’t been that hard, after all. But there was one problem. Hmm… Should she tell this to Jory? Or not? But anyhow- she had been nice to the people she liked. Her friends. And also the new ones she had just met. But not being rude to Zeke was impossible. Like seriously.
It all happened so fast. One second everything was alright but the next it was all chaos. Ness stood still in shock when she saw what appeared to be a cat crawl between her legs. She almost screamed again, but this time she managed to contain herself. It was Puffles she was worried about. As the cat went past them the pygmy puff began shivering and squeaking like some insane broken telephone. The sound was excruciating, but before she could stop the Puff she looked back at Oakey and watched in horror as he's owl attacked him.
Ness had seen Oakey's owl go all violent before but she had never seen him this crazy. It would have been alright..if only there was no blood. Almost at once, Ness began to feel faintish and dizzy. It wasn't too bad though, she could deal with it this time. Though, just to be safe she wanted to get out the room.
"Um..um..I'll go look for Charmer, but Puffles needs to stay here." she looked at all threee of them, debating who'd be best for her little babys saftey. Seeing as Oakey was all bloody and Lyssie was helping him, the best she could think of was Zeke, but the little puff ball did like he's company. "Zeke, please take him." Lifting the puff from her shoulder and stretching her hands towards Zeke so he would take him.
Alyssa was relieved that Oakey's scratches weren't too deep. But he still looked bothered about something. Then Alyssa remembered that something small had rushed by her when the door opened. "Is there something wrong? I saw something run out. Was it yours? Do you want me to help you look for it? What does it look like?" Alyssa offered, seeing that although Oakey was trying not to make a big deal about it, that it was still bothering him.
Alyssa turned not wanting to make Zeke feel left out. "Hi Zeke." she greeted him with a smile. She didn't dare say anything else because whenever she did, it always came out all wrong, and she suspected that Zeke really didn't like her that much, which made her sad.

Now..what to do with the still noisey, Aya?
Zeke looked at Lyssie, determined to be nice. He was pretty rude this term. Better end it well. "Hey, Lyssie," he told her with his fail attempt at a smile. He stared at the Hufflepuff guy whose name he still didn't know with eyes full of concern. But he heard a noise come from the pygmy puff of Renesmee.
Next thing he knew Renesmee gave it to him. "Oh, erm, okay," Zeke said as he took the pygmy puff from her. 'Well, hello there Hairball,' he thought to himself as he smiled at the little creature in his left hand. Using his other hand, he began to stroke the furball as Hairball stared at him again like the first time they met. 'Good boy.'

Alyssa was glad that there was some semblance of calm in the compartment now. Still concerned about Oakey's scratches and despite the fact that he said he didn't need help, she took out a bottle of distant and unholstered her wand. "Oakey, I know that you don't need help but those scratches don't look good and they are still bleeding. I have some dittany here but I know a spell that will heal the scratches faster. I've seen it done before. So please trust me. I won't mess it up, okay?" Alyssa waited for Oakey's approval before casting the healing spell.
She was glad that Nessie was going to looks for Oakey's Charmer because she at least knew what she was looking for. As for Zeke, she just smiled at him. "I'm sorry for all the chaos. Believe me, us Puffs aren't always that noisy. So hopefully you'll get some peace and quiet soon."
DARN! Why did Carigan have to be one of the last ones to board the train? Hamlet, her pet Raven, was perched on her shoulder as she walked down the corridor at a quick pace, trying to find a compartment to sit in. She didn't know which part of the train her friends were on nor which compartment they would be in so she decided to just go to the back of the train and find an empty compartment... there was almost always at least one empty compartment... She reached the very back part of the train before she finally found one that was empty and she slid the door open. She lifted her trunk, with a bit of difficulty (she would have to thank her mother for using the expansion spell on her trunk, which did help make it lighter) and placed it in the unit above the seat. She then let out a short breath and hopped up onto the seat and kicked off her shoes.

Minerva saw the shock on Ella's face and couldn't help but smile. "Ella there is a lot you don't know about this little group." she glanced at Harvey. "It just gets thicker and thicker as it goes on. My cousin Eddie that is probably getting me was one of the kidnappers last summer... Surprise" Minerva put up her hands acting in shock. "It's a long story, but he really wasn't trying to harm me, just protect me, but I was to quick for all of them." she giggled a little at the thought of being able to trick the great tracker Edward. She shook her head, "Enough about me though. What's your family like?"
Ella was watching Logan, worried about him, when she heard Minnie talking about all that had been going on. Since Logan didn't seem ready to share his news yet, she squeezed his hand reassuringly before addressing what Minnie had asked. Her family? Well that was a sorted story. "Mom's a photographer who grew up in the states and she moved to London with her parents and brother when she was a teen. Dad is a book publisher and grew up in London with his mom and sister, he doesn't talk about his dad." Nope. Ella's paternal grandfather was a mystery. "My parents married and I grew up in Camden with them and my little brother, Caleb. We had to move back to west London when my mom's dad died, to help out my grams."
She frowned thinking about her grandfather's death and the move...and what had happened since then. "And mom...well since I've been here my mother has decided to go and pursue her photography on...on her own." She looked down at her shoes after saying this. After a moment, she attempted a smile and shrugged. "We'll be fine though. Dad is great and if she d-doesn't want to be there then...then...we'll be fine."
Just a moment ago the train start it's journey Sam could find beth. She was sitting all alone. For a moment before she saw him,he thought, "we are in the same house, but we never walk anywhere together.strange. . Anyway . .what might she say?" Actually she didn't answer him back there in the feast. He hoped it's going to be 'yes'. . ..
Sam entered the compartment, Annabeth put down her book and smiled. They never actually walked anywhere together, which she though was strange, maybe Sam had also noticed the same thing. "Hello Sam, I was wondering where you had got to!" she said, "Anyway, yes," she said softly, "Yes I will come and stay with you, if your parents want me to, that is..." Things may never be the same again between them, once they did this. "Strange to be going home again isn't it, it seems that term only just started!"
Lily smiled at the girl who she hadn't known in the compartment. "Nice to meet you Ira... I'm Lily with one 'L' and that's Lilly with two 'L's" The first year said motioning towards Lilly. Carefully she made her way into the compartment and managed to get her trunk stowed away and put her owl cage with her agitated owl, Phoenix, on the seat next to her as she sat down. "And yeah... I met Lilly on the train out to Hogwarts." Ever since they had been friends.
Turning to the other gryffindor in the compartment, Lily got up and hugged her friend. "I'm kinda excited... I made it through my first year!!!" The claw got excited before relaxing a bit. "Why were you upset earlier?" Lily asked as she got comfortable on the seat and pulled out some leftover candy.

Anyways, she patiently listened as Lilly explained the actual situation. She nodded, to show that she understood. But Dads were the best! And daughters and Dads were always closest right? "Aww! Don't say that!" Ira said softly, "You know.. maybe he is kinda alone.. but yet doesn't want to share his own pain to increase yours?" Because, you know, Dads are good.
Ira smiled when the first year described herself as Lily with one 'L' and the other as Lilly with two 'L's. "Hehe.." Ira giggled.
"Whats your owl's name?" Ira asked the Lily with one L.. hehe.. She sort of thought that changing the topic would make Lily a bit cheerful. So she joined in on the conversation. "I know!! It feels great, right?!?!" Ira said excitedly. "I still can't believe that my second year is over so soon!"
"Maybe." Fat chance, even she admitted it. Dad used to be hard-working, until mum died. But he should've got over it. Then again, Lilly hadn't yet. She was the kid, the one he was supposed to look after and comfort. When she'd visited and owled, it seemed the other way round. Life was like that for her. Ever since she arrived at Hogwarts, everything had all gone wrong, even before her mum had died.
"What do you mean...you got through?" Maybe she expected to die or something. What had happened to Lilly as a firstie was nearly as bad. She felt like sobbing again. She held herself in. In was sweet of them to try and take her mind off things. Awesome friends, they were to her. "How are you after your injury?" She was mostly trying to get her mind off things herself. That day on the stairs had been scary. When she'd yelled at Taylor to stop sitting there motionless and do something.
Harvey felt something on his head.. but didnt think much of it.. thinking that he was just imagining things.. but then he heard a small giggle next to him.. he looked to see Ameliah there trying to stifle a giggle.. "What? What are you giggling about?" he asked .. very confused as to what she was giggling away for.. he then realised that maybe she thought of something funny and thats why she was laughing.
Harvey watched as she played with a little string on her shirt before turning to him... he nodded as she spoke to him "Ok.. ok.. I will go home.. but do let me know where you are and that you have reached safely. Yeah I know you can look after yourself.. you more than proved that last summer.. but still.. ... just keep me informed." he smiled a little as he said this.. before Minnie sat Logan down.. and kept her eye on him..
He then listened as Minnie told Ella about last summer in brief as well as glancing at him.. he smiled as she said surprise and acted shocked.. she then tried to explain why Edward did what he did.. to protect her.. although he did chase them once or twice.. pointed his wand at them.. was that all for show.. or was it real?.. this was getting all so messy.. answers were needed to clear all this up. While he was thinking this.. Minnie had gone on to ask about Ella's family.
Ameliah smiled, finally able to control herself. "It's nothing. Just a thought." She looked at him innocently.

Ameliah saw that Tay woke up. She leaned in and whispered: "Get a look at Harvey!" She tried not to giggle at Harvey's invisibility.

Minerva listened as her friends spoke. She played with a string on her shirt sleeve. This seemed like it was going to be a very long train ride. "Harvs I think if no one is there to pick me up I will be okay alone, I want you to just go home, okay?" Then Logan came in acting upset. Minerva jumped up concerned. Ameliah tilted her head. She could tell Mins was upset about something... "Family. Not my horrid real Aunt, but my new adopted family. My parents died when I was six...."
