"Well... apparently Jezabel Black's family has caused quite a stir within the families and people are getting killed. I can't believe she didn't tell me. My dad being an Auror and all... they could have figured something out to help her." Jayden complained, rolling her eyes in complete annoyance. Jayden was worried, and she absolutely hated being left out of things, it was one of her pet peeves.
Elliot merely scowled. Sounded like...well, something like that would simply NEVER happen to the Morganzos. Hmph. But she didnt say this aloud, for Jayden looked extremely irritated and upset. The twelve year old was lousy at beinf comforting...so, "well, Jayden, maybe there's a reason she didn't tell you. Every family has its....secrets," she finished knowingly.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, Jay," said Jez heavily, still with her eyes closed. "We are close, but that doesn't mean I want to put you in danger." Jez knew that Jayden was angry because she didn't understand the full extent of what had happened over the summer. Part of Jez wanted to keep her happily, if a little irritatedly, innocent, but the other just wanted to get it over with.
Jez started at the beginning. "My brother is kind of ... I don't know what you'd call him. I used to call him a freelance Auror, because that's the generalised job description. He was working for someone in Australia with his colleague Jaime, who as part of their cover story was his girlfriend. They disappeared a few weeks into the job, and Jaime's body was found in the outback. She'd been murdered via the Killing Curse." Jez took a deep breath before ploughing on. "The people Keegan was trying to stop had found out about him and Jaime, and used the Imperius Curse on him, making him kill her. He managed to escape them, but was on the run from the Australian Aurors and Muggle police as well. He didn't know that they'd sent their assassination group, Team Wolf, over here to track down his family. They blackmailed me into persuading Keegan to come back to England. They said they would kill my little brother. When Keegan came back they held him hostage too. They slowly killed off my parents, three of my brothers and one sister, including ..." Jez drew her knees into her chest, finally letting her tears spill over. "Including my little brother," she said quietly. "Than was only ten, he didn't deserve to die like that." She pressed her face into her knees, thinking about everything that had happened since; the horcrux, clinically dying, being attacked by Jared, Nate getting hurt ... Jez's life seemed to be full of negatives.
Taryn waved her hand, "They're over it now. After I was born and my mom died... things changed." And even though Taryn's grandparents still didn't fully understand her Wizard family and the whole other world they live in, they tried and accepted it.
With a frown, Taryn glanced at Auggie. "I think it's been a long time since blood status has been important to everyone in our world." She shrugged. She knew that at one point in time, it had, "I think people aren't so strict on it anymore, but... some people just always will be. Some people don't change." People like Tori's father, apparently.
She smiled comfortingly at Auggie, "My father is a Wizard and he fell in love with my mother who was a Muggle, and I think that is beautiful."
SO. She patted his shoulder. Don't feel bad, Muggle boy.
HEHE.
"I thought about wearing them." She added. Honestly, she HAD thought about it, "But I promised Tori I'd wear my BFF!shoes and they don't exactly match." She wiggled her feet, again admiring her shoes.
What Taryn was saying had to be right, he trusted her. Besides last term when he went to a Professor about the issue, Bentley said stuff along the same lines. It must just be the select few mean witches and wizards.
"He did?" August had forgotten that Taryn was half and half. It wasn't something important obviously but it was still cool to find out that sort of thing. "Well that's definately a good thing." he said gesturing to her. Tayrn Hayden wouldn't be here if not. And the shoulder patting was a good sign.
"Well I guess not." he said looking at her shoes as she stuck a leg out. Yeah she was right pink and green weren't a good match. Oh well she had ALL TERM to wear them. "What about mine?" he said pulling up the legs of his jeans and showing his white tennis shoes and white shocks with a cheeky grin.
"So I wonder if they're will be any new professors this term." There had been a few of their instructors who had disappeared throughout the term and he was eager to see who their replacements were.
Seriously, this trip was longer than usual. Or maybe it was the hope that stretched way too much at seeing Joao turning round a corner or bumping into him. Louisa left her stuff at her compartment with the four friends of hers, and yes she would call Treyen a friend for Dal's sake, and went to the back of the train to enjoy a quiet nice reading. She hadn't changed into her robe yet, but the girl didn't forget about it, she'd just read a chapter or two and go back to her compartment.
The teen girl slipped into an already-occupied room and without acknowledging the inhabitants, she sat down on the far end of the seat and opened her new novel.
Selina kicked her shoes as she walked down the corridor of the train. It was not that she did not love her friends and all, but the prefects compartment was getting a tad crowded and she felt a little out-of-place because she was a Captain and not a prefect. In fact, Selina playing Quidditch would be the only way anyone would have ever have given her a badge. So that was how she had gotten hers.
As she finally escaped the clutter she found herself in the back of the train. Now that the train ride was in full swing she could not find an empty compartment to just put her feet up in. Her eyes caught one that was seemingly empty and she walked inside. Once she was inside she saw that she was in fact not alone. With a slight twinge of red to her cheeks to show off her embarrassment she said, "Whoops sorry Louisa. I, erm, didn't see you there. I'll just go."
"For a while...And it's okay! You do deserve a good sleep, Dear." Amethyst smiled, slightly at Alyssa. Would this year be as good as she hoped?
"Kyle wanted to be in sync with Dashi as she is with Saber, and thought I should do the same." She smiled down at the black cat, kissing his head as she giggled.
Amethyst smiled, looking up to see Laura. She giggled and waved at her. She liked Laura. She was truely a sweet girl. "Hiya, Laura! Sure! C'mon on in. Enough room fro us all." She nodded, looking at her.

Alyssa turned to see Justin walk in and she started to say hello when he turned and walked out again. "Wha...What just happened here? Where's Justiin going?"Alyssa asked.
Alyssa was still puzzled as to why Justin would not join them. She heard Harvey excuse himself and go after him. Alyssa waited hoping that she would see Harvey come back with Justin. But when they didn't, Alyssa decided that she would go after them. "Uh, excuse me for a couple of minutes. I'll be right back." she told everyone.
Alyssa walked along the corridors until she found both Harvey and Justin talking in another compartment. "Uh! I'm sorry for interrupting but is everything okay? Justin what is going on?" Alyssa asked Justin.
Justin Looked up and saw his friend and teammate. " Hey, Lyssie. Just needed some time to thibk and clear my head. How are you? " he said as he managed a weak smile.

SPOILER!!: Justin
Dear Justin,
I'm am sorry for being a bad girlfriend. I'm sorry letting my jealousy get I'm the way of our relationship. Justin you are one of the best things to ever happen to me, and I cannot lose you. I personally know that you would never hurt me, but Minerva; my mind is showing images of you and her kissing! And it irks me! Justin I can't hurt you, like I am. And I don't try to. I just wish this all was over. I feel like this caged animal, Justin. And I'm ready for us ALL to get out.
SPOILER!!: Minerva
Dear Minerva,
There is so much I want to say. First off, I'm sorry, okay? I don't know what up with me, and I know that you and Justin have nothing going on but a friendship. But it just irks me to Whit's End that you can do more for him than I can. I'm a wolf. It is instinct for me to care so much. I am only here, going to Hogwarts to protect my friends. To protect you. I'm just not such that I really belong to this group.

Harvey looked back at Minnie before he followed Justin out "I promise I wont be gone too long sweetheart.." he said giving her one last smile before he left.. he couldnt stay away from her... every second that she was out of his eyesight he would worry how she was doing..

Amethyst handed the letters to Saber and he went off. Saber made his way to Justin first, jumping into his lap dropping the letter into his lap, a single wolf print on the front of it. Saber did the same to Minerva, but he stayed with her, curling up beside her as he did Amethyst.
Sir Saber pranced into the compartment and jumped up onto the seat and dropped a letter into his lap before leaving. Justin opened the letter as Alyssa and Harvey looked on. As he read the letter is was like Justin knew what he needed to do. He put the folded letter into his pocket in his blazer that he was wearing and Looked up at Harvey.
" Mate, I will always be part of the Amigos , but I think I need to tell Ame that I need to be single for a bit. It's just that there is too much going on in my head. I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to give her the attention that she deserves. "
As he was saying that he took out some parchement and began to write taking his time to make sure Ame knew that his decision had nothing to do with Minnie or not loving her. Justin took great care in his letter and when he was finished he stood up and handed it to Harvey.
" Harv, could you deliver this to Ame.... I'm sure she's upset enough as it is...And I don't want to get all worked up again. I hate yelling. " He said with a sheepish smile.

Amethyst,
I'm sorry that so much has happened. I don't want to be a burden to you or anyone else. I'm going through alot right now. As all of us are. I need some time to be alone and sort things out. I don't want to drag you down with me. You don't deserve it. You are a wonderful girl and know that I will always love you. I just can't be in a relationship right now. We've all changed so much over holiday and we all need to do what we feel is right for ourselves. I hope that we can remain close friends and maybe after everything you may feel the same about me as you did before reading this.....
Always, Justin[/textcut]
Sammy nodded. "Yeah...he doesn't know I have them though." Which was going to end badly for the eleven year old. Very badly. He frowned. That was kind of sad. "That stinks. A lot." Did he? Of course he did! "Yep. I like X-Men and Spiderman's okay...oh! And so is Superman and the Green Lantern...and the Avengers comics are awesome too..." He could just go on and on! There really wasn't a superhero series he hadn't at least attempted to read.
Adeline nodded. "I haven't really payed much attention to the Avengers." she told him. "Isn't the Avengers the one with all of them?" she asked. X-MEN! "Who's your favorite X-Men?" she asked him. Who was hers? She didn't know. "I'm not much of a Superman fan. I do like Spiderman though." She smiled.

Taryn giggled. "Yes. I'm very glad that you know how to match your clothes." She even clapped for him. YAY!
Hmmm.. "I don't know. That's a good thought." It wasn't like she was particularly attached to any of them, so it wasn't a big deal to her who was still around.
Now that Taryn was thinking about school again, she was thinking about how far away their common rooms were. Pretty far and quite a few flights of stairs to pass to get to either one. That was kind of lame. "I'm more worried about the Common Room and the people who won't be THERE." Like Tori. Tori wasn't going to be there. Auggie wasn't going to be there. Her other friends she'd made, though they were a FEW, since she'd been a friend snob last term.... none of them would be there.
LuLu smiled at Pres and nodded bt dragging seven trunks into a small compartment was no where as embaressing as screaming in the train corridor about 'Nargles and they took my shoes' No where as humiliating! She would never forget it... EVER! A boy, A prefect and two peeing cats and her the lunatic screaming nargles all from a stupid dare... Hmph! What was the point of telling Pres that though.... it was long and depressing and it was her BIRTHDAY!!!!
Sheared at Presley since when did she ever care about boys? not that she didn't like this subject she had as much interest in it as all girls but it seemed they never talked about it before so she felt it would be well awkward for the two of them...she sat up in her chair and sat up in interest ''I dunno...'' she shrugged the thought went through her mind before but she never gave it any interest! But Pres was right... she'd never met a third year boy well she did but he was mannerless and the other one was a cryer! She ran her fingers through her hair and thought about it more ''I guess not I mean the only guy I actully remember was... William and i've never met him for a year... and the mountain of girls he dated...''
''Anyway... Why? do you bring up the subject,'' maybe she liked someone Ooooooh but that was not likely since she seemed upset that there was no one...... It was all a very hard subject.. She lifted Juni up on her lap and petted him!
Presley shrugged. Why had she brought up the subject? "Well, you know I went and visited my cousins in the US this summer." Presley summer had actually been packed full, but her vacation to Washington was the first in a long line of summer destinations. "My cousin Avrie knows lots of guys. Lots of really cute guys. It just made me think about how we really don't know any. That was true. Granted, Avrie was fifteen, and Presley only thirteen, but still! If there weren't any cute guys in her year at age thirteen, there wouldn't be at age fifteen. Unless somebody transferred, and that didn't seem too likely at this point.
Selina kicked her shoes as she walked down the corridor of the train. Louisa was so into her book, both of her legs stretched all the way to the opposite bench. Her surroundings faded greatly that when someone walked in, the fifteen years old didn't notice.
Until the newcomer talked, rather fast too. Louisa's hands trembled making the book jump and fall down with a loud thud. The Ravenclaw's eyes staring wildly at the noise source, ready to be swallowed whole to that scary realm she was reading about...
... "Selina!" She said, way too cheerfully and throwing her arms around the Gryffindor. Not that they were that close, Louisa only met the girl few times before and they got along quite well. The startle and the fact that no scary realm was open to suck in Louisa was just exhilarating that Louisa wanted to squeeze the girl. Ahem. Okay, pulling free now. "Sorry about that." Louisa pushed her hair out of her face and picked her book up, "Did you say something?" When she walked in, coz Louisa didn't get it.
"Jez. My dad's an Auror, and my brother is an Auror in training." Jayden whined, her eyes filling with tears again. "I just can't believe you didn't tell me. I thought we were close." She mumbled, fumbling with her hair and taking it out of it's messy bun. "I just... I don't understand."
Jayden looked over at Pam. Good. She was awake. "Hello there Pam. Care to join in the crazy conversation and explain yourself?" She asked.
"Well... apparently Jezabel Black's family has caused quite a stir within the families and people are getting killed. I can't believe she didn't tell me. Jayden was worried, and she absolutely hated being left out of things, it was one of her pet peeves.
"Sure Jordan, why not. I mean... why leave you out now? Oh wait, you were never left out. It was just me." She snapped, glaring at Jordan.
"Go on...." Jayden growled, making a 'come on let's get this over with' motion with her hands. "Well....?"
Jordan looked at Jayden, about to fire back a retort. But he quickly relented, "Okay, why are you angry at me?" he asked simply, looking at Jayden warily.

Selina was turning around to leave right at that moment that she jumped in surprise when a pair of arms wrapped themselves around Selina, Louisa's arms to be precise. It was not that Selina did not like Louisa, quite the contrary; she was just surprised that the girl had hopped up and hugged her as enthusiastically as she had just done. The pair were what someone would call friendly acquaintances. They were too friendly to just be acquaintances, but they were not friendly enough to be called friends. So the cheerful response to Selina's entrance did throw her off a little.
Then Louisa let her go and resumed to normalcy in a matter of seconds. Selina would be lying if she did not say that she was thrown for a loop by her behavior because honestly she was. That would be a lie if she said she was not confused. As she asked her what she said Selina merely blinked and said, "Oh, erm, nothing. Um I was just.... well... how are you?" She was going to take that hug as an invitation to sit down.

Logan smiled. It was so great to have all his friends sit together. It was really great. He had a feeling this was going to be a great year. Most of them were girls.....he hadn't met much boy first years. Only one, and that was Sam, one of his main best friends. He was so happy to have such amazing friends.

Cael strolled through the train, heading to the back when he stumbled across a few of his friends looking rather upset. And was that... Jay was crying? He was definitely going to get to the bottom of this. Now.
"Jay..." he laid a tentative hand on her shoulder, wary of making her more upset, "Are you alright?"
He gave a nod to Jordan. Maybe the other boy knew what was going on.

Oh? Nothing. Well, whatever. Louisa sat back down, stretching her legs again and keeping her closed book in her lap as she shifted slightly to look at her new companion. "I'm fine. A bit bored, actually, with this trip." She sighed and looked for a second at the door expecting Joao to walk in. "It seemed longer than usual." Or maybe because she got used to her boyfriend's presence during summer that being without him was just too boring now.
Speaking of summer, "How was your summer?" And now that Louisa thought of it, she realized that she knew nothing about Selina's family or background. That was a shame. But they could talk about those things instead of being bored to tears! Unless Selina was one of those people who didn't talk of family and such. Like Enya. Pity, Louisa would have to pry it out then. Bahaha.
Okay no more evil thoughts. The fifth year student kept her smile on.
"I just really wanted to come back to see you," Chris said, looking at her robes, wondering what color they would become... Red for Gryffindor, like him? Green for Slytherin, like or family? Maybe blue or yellow, she would look nice in blue...
Angie smiled sweetly at Chris and grabbed a liquorice wand from her candy pile. "Man, I can't believe how hungry I always am," she thought aloud, poking her surprisingly flat tummy.

Selina nodded and put her feet up in Indian style on her seat like she had been sitting earlier when she was with Gideon. Honestly, she swore that the train must have gotten renovated because the seats were heaps more comfortable then they had been previous years. In earlier years if she wanted to just nap it was too uncomfortable to do such. Now she could lounge out without worrying she would have a kink in her neck for the opening feast, which by the way she was eagerly anticipating. So she readdressed Louisa and said, "Right, yeah it is taking a tad long. Then again when doesn't the train ride seem long when we are all anticipating the new school year to begin?" Selina just wanted to see the Pitch again to be honest.
How was her summer? Well it was one of the less eventful summers for Selina to be perfectly honest. She had only seen Kurumi once, Gideon twice, Christopher lived with them so she saw him too much, Violet had come to stay and her other friends she did not really see at all. So her summer was mostly boring. "Eh it was alright. It went by wildly slow. I just wanted it to be over. I missed school so much you have no idea. Everything about this place just makes me smile. How about yourself?"
Selena needed to find Emma. For a very important reason. Obviously it was important, Emma was her best friend. So everything was important. She ran down the train's corridor, past compartments and other kids who were taller than her. "EMMAAAAAA. Where are you?!" Selena called out loudly as she continued to run back and forth throughout the train. Emma had to be around here somewhere. Because last Sel checked, Emma was going to Hogwarts like she had years before so this term was no different. The cruppy in Sel's arm was slowly waking as Selena ran and Kent was not please with being shoved into a cross-body bag that Selena was wearing.
"EMMMAAAAA???!?!' she called out again. Where was her tall blonde bestie?! WHERE WAS HER CRAZYTASTIC BESTIE?! What was this chaos?!

Louisa chuckled once and nodded, "Yeah. A new term and new adventures waiting ahead." She glanced at the book in her lap and added, "OWLs, too." They were both taking those this term so they shared the pressure. If Selina had pressures about exams like Louisa. The latter's fingernails were already bitten short due to the newly born habit. "I'm quite nervous and excited to have them, actually. They're challenging." Her gaze went up to meet Selina's once more, "I like it."
"I can say that this summer was the best and worst summer I've ever had." She leaned her head back on the seat, smiling, "Well, not the worst, no. But it was quite good and bad." She hesitated whether to pour it all out on Selina. Louisa would take a risk at opening up to an acquaintance in an attempt to make a friend. Yep, she was going to. "See, my boyfriend, Joao, doesn't like my... male friends." Especially the one I crushed on previously. "And he took the liberty to hit one of them because my friend invited me over." The male friend that was, "This was the bad part. When I went to Brazil, where Joao lives, I had to go through a really difficult and long time talking about how wrong and bad his act was." And she punched him, but that was too private. "I was very upset with him and thought he didn't want to understand but he surprised me." Her smile went bigger now, "We're past it now." Tadaa!

"Have a seat," he added, moving over to make room for the new girl in the compartment. Hehe. He kind of wished Sierra would walk by right now and see him hanging out with a bunch of Slytherins...she'd probably DIE.
"Pleasure," Smiling sweetly at him before taking a neat next to him. How nice of him to make room for her, just like a Hufflepuff as many would say. "I'm Kimalia, Slytherin, and in the same year as well."
Now that the intros were out of the way. "I wonder what the feast will be like this year, can you believe the rusted silverware that was left out last year?" Absolute rubbish, though thankfully simple cleaning charms solved it. "Anyway, how was your summer, Alex?"

Justin Looked up and saw his friend and teammate. " Hey, Lyssie. Just needed some time to thibk and clear my head. How are you? " he said as he managed a weak smile.

[Textcut = Letter to Ame]
Amethyst,
I'm sorry that so much has happened.
Always, Justin
Harvey could not believe what he was hearing.. Justin was breaking up with Ame "You cant do that mate.. you both love each other too much" he said ... but Harvey saw it was no use.. Justin had already written half a letter and was still going.. he could not believe that this was happening... he was just about holding on with Minnie being the way she was .... now he had to keep the group together... he didnt know how much more he could take.. he was only 12.. and already so much had happened.. he knew he would some alone time at school.. to let out all that he was feeling... he had to be strong for not just one person anymore.. he had to be strong for 3 of them... all in pain and all going through some tough times... if it carried on for too long like this... he may have to make a decision that he doesnt want to make.. he couldnt think of it right now.. just then Justin told him to take the letter to Ame.. reluctantly Harvey got up and walked to the compartment where the girls were.. he looked at Ame and the letter... and then back at Ame "Er... Ame this is for you" he said as normally as he could.. and he handed her the letter.. and sat down between her and Minnie "See I told you I would be back" he said to Minnie.. smiling weakly.. he then watched Ame open the letter..
Selina rose her hand awkwardly like a student may do to a teacher when Louisa talked about exams. It was slightly uncomfortable for Selina to have to correct Louisa but she was not a fifth year. She was a fourth year so she would not be taking OWLs until the next year. In all honesty they did not speak frequently enough for Louisa to even know that fact and she hung out with mostly fifth years so one would assume that Selina was indeed a fifth year, but she was not. She was a fourth year and that fact bothered her a lot. All of her friends, well most of them, would be graduating before she finished schooling, "Erm, Louisa? I'm not taking the OWLs. I'm a fourth year. I mean it isn't your fault you didn't know but yeah, I'm a fourth year."
Then the flood gates opened and Louisa started to spill a heap of her personal life on Selina. She explained her boyfriend's uncomfortable stance on Louisa's male friends, the fight that broke out amongst the boys and her eventual make-up with her boyfriend. She could tell that Louisa was trying very hard to show some kind of effort in wanting to be Selina's friend. So with a deep breath she plunged in as well, "Well, I know it is not my place to say, but you opened up with me so I think I should be honest with you, I think you let Jao is it, off too easily. You cannot let him dictate to you who your friends are going to be. You will lose a lot of friends if he dominates you and your life. You are too strong for that."
Jordan smiled at Cael, but he was slightly bored so he decided to go all dramatic, "A nod?" he cried standing up, "we haven't seen eachother in months and all I get is a nod?" he could go dramatic when he wanted. "No Cael, I don't want to hear it!" he turned his back to the other boy. He slowly turned back again, looking into his eyes. "I can't stay mad at you for too long," he said, charging towards cael and wrestling him into a tight hug.
Tears threatened to fall as Elliot rambled on about family secrets and the like. "But Elliot, we're friends! Or so I thought...." She mumbled, looking up at her friend sullenly. "I thought they trusted me. I would have been there to help them in a split second!" She groaned, putting her hair back up into a more secure, more business-like bun. She could never think right with her hair down.. and it was getting so long!

"I think we are all making this a bit more dramatic than it should be!" Jayden cried, her eyes flashing with fury and hurt. "We're only twelve, Jez! We shouldn't be in this much trouble!" She whined, biting her lip nervously as she looked over at her friends and turned to look at Jordan.

"You're telling me you had no idea any of this was going on?" She hissed, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "You weren't in on this at all?" She asked, her voice growing quiet. "I just feel hurt, and so left out! I trusted you all!"
And then Cael showed up and came to the rescue...
Finally.

"No. I am not alright!" She cried, shrugging his hand off of her shoulder. "Your... My.... Frien.... These people...." She pointed, glaring at each of them for a few seconds in turn. "Have been hiding things from us... and putting each other in danger, and they didn't think to notify us or tell any adults... like the Headmaster. He should know." Jayden blurted out in a huff.
"I don't even know what to do right now. I thought we were all friends... now I'm not even sure what we are anymore with all these secrets!" She sobbed, looking up at Cael with tears in her eyes. Even though the world seemed to be caving in... Cael was there. Cael was calm.
Angie smiled sweetly at Chris and grabbed a liquorice wand from her candy pile. "Man, I can't believe how hungry I always am," she thought aloud, poking her surprisingly flat tummy.
"I know the feeling!" he commented, grabbing another of his frogs and biting the head off of it.

Bliiiiiiiiiink.
"Whaa.." was all Louisa could say. B-b-but Selina was.. with fifth year gangs all the time! How could. Oh well, it only proved the girl to be one year maturer than her peers. Hehe. So the fifth year chuckled at that and shook her head, "Yeah, sorry. Well then, you have quite a clear idea about the pressure now though." Yep, mind those pearls dear old Louisa cough up once in a while. Heh.
Listening to the Gryffindor's advice, Louisa's face turned slightly serious, pondering over that. "You're right." She said quietly, "Which is why set me off in the first place but..." Siiiiigh again, It's just that I understand why he did it." The girl dropped her legs and stuffed them underneath her, "He has a hard time trusting people. That's what I saw after being with him for three weeks. I think he doesn't really have a problem with my friends rather than he has a problem trusting...me." That didn't sound so good. Nor refreshing. Louisa's face paled just slightly as this fact swirled in her head.
