The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Minerva smiled at the boy. "Yes I think we did a great job. I'm Minerva by the way."
"Caelius," he grinned, extending his hand out to the girl. "That was some pretty quick thinking keeping most of the others away. Sorry I freaked out a bit, but I wasn't expecting something to suddenly dash between my feet either," he laughed, rubbing the back of his neck self-consciously.

Minerva smiled and shook the boys hand. She blushed as he said about her quick thinking. "Well I kind of have been tracking it for a while. It caught me off guard one day in the Transfiguration practice room. Then when it finally came out tonight that it was a baby I just kept thinking about how a human baby would react to everything. Well I guess we should find our seats it was great meeting you."

Ronnie walked to the Ravenclaw table and smiled. It had been a good year, with a little twists here and there of course, but all was good. She was ready for her next one, and the next ones to come. Soon, she'd be a seventh year, then (maybe) she'd be married with kids and have a job. She sighed at the thought. She didn't really want to grow up. Not just yet.

As the Headmaster walked away with the baby, Alyssa heard a voice behind her. She turned around to see that it Nimma. "Nimma, I'm so glad that you heard me calling for you. Don't worry your baby is safe and unhurt." Alyssa told Nimma.

Alyssa decided to tag along to make sure that Nimma didn't hurt herself because she believed she needed to be punished. At the same time, she kept a look out for the other elves. Where was Tinka?

Katie sniffled, "Its alright Harvey" She smiled, trying to get him off her mind then, "So any plans yet for the summer?" It seemed like most of her friends found their special person in the course of one year. She would never understand how they feel because she have not felt any of it through her entire stay in Hogwarts. She didn't know how it feels to have someone to say goodbye whom you've been with and exchange meaningful conversations. It must be hurtful. Those passing days that they were way, that would probably be crucifying.
Erin saw her friend Annabeth with a guy she often sees at the Ravenclaw common room but hadn't got the chance to get to know more. Without any hesitation, she moved closer to the two and noticed their intertwined hands, "Beth!" exclaimed Erin focusing on their hands. Then gave Annabeth a questionnable look. Yay! They must be together and she didn't even know.
Her owl was spoiled? That was just like Elliot, to have a spoiled owl. Not that Presley didn't love her Mercury, but he knew he wasn't allowed to peck, and he hardly ever did. It was those people who let their dogs up on the furniture. Terrible people. If Presley's little puppy ever got up on the expensive furniture at home, she had to use her allowance to buy an identical couch or whatever it was that the dog climbed on. But as her allowance was pretty much limitless, it didn't bother her much. She nodded at Elliot, mentally writing herself a note to feed the owl.
Presley could see she was fighting a losing battle on this one. At least the second time Elliot addressed her in the sentence she'd left off the Black part. Presley resisted rolling her eyes. She knew her last name was prominent. That didn't mean Elliot had to use it every time she addressed Presley. She shrugged, conceding the fight to the younger girl. "Okay, call me what you want. It doesn't really matter that much to me." Unless the person speaking was professor Lafay, calling her "master Black". For Merlins sake, she looked girly enough! But Presley started that moment harboring a secret desire to call her El. Just once. And see what happened.
Holy Merlin! A baby elf was what was causing all of this commotion? A little baby? Why was everyone so angry with it? Babies didn't really know any better. Presley stood up on her chair and scanned the room, but couldn't see the thing for the life of her. However, she just wanted to scoop it up and give it the biggest loving hug ever, and tell it it must not be frightened. She'd heard Nimma, the poor thing had been dumped in a rubbish bin. That was no proper way to start out it's poor little life. It was probably just scared of everything. Hogwarts was so big and so easy to get lost in. Not to mention all of the people who were so much bigger than it. No wonder it was going crazy. It probably wasn't intentionally trying to cause mischeif. Right? Or maybe it was, but that didn't matter, it didn't know any better. "Oh that poor thing!" she exclaimed. "Don't scare it!!" she called louder to the hall that was now frantically searching for the poor baby.
"I shall call you whatever I want at the present moment. Sometimes the need to use your full name just seems... necessary, Presley," she replied back coolly. She then grabbed a bowl of salad, for that's all Elliot really ate, and began to daintily eat. She was too used to eating properly to notice that almost NO ONE else ate this way.
WHAT?!?!
A baby elf?!?! Elliot dropped her fork into her plate and hugged her knees to her chest so her feet didn't touch the ground. Merlin! "Oh goodness! I don't want it near me!" she exclaimed, remembered when Krosby, her elf, had taken care of his baby elf for awhile when his elfwife(Elliot didn't know how elfen affairs even worked, really) was sick. Her father had thrown a fit, and the manor had been placed into chaos.
Elliot glanced around cautiously, hoping that the little sucker was caught. Imagine if the little thing were to touch her!

Elliot jumped a bit when Caelius screeched. Oh no! the baby seemed to be under the table. She quickly stuck her head under the table to catch a glimpse. Elliot was curious, even if she didn't want to touch it. As she peered down at the thing, she noticed how weirdly cute it was. The blonde shook her head to get her mind back into reality. Elliot Morganzo DID NOT think ANYTHING was cute!
The headmaster came and captured it and took it away, thank goodness! She sighed and let her feet touch the ground again. "Well, glad that's all cleared up, eh?" she asked said to herself, and continued to her eat her salad.
