The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Annabeth sat down and waited for Sam, he couldn't be long now... Where was he? She wanted to see him before the summer and give him his very late birthday present, she had it in her hands and couldn't wait to give it to him, he hopefully would love it! She still wondered where he was, he hadn't hurt himself had he?

Ellie raised her eyebrows when Louisa called her dear. Well, that was a first. And then she started talking about the dangers of motorcycles. And the bad reputation. Ellie just stared at her for a second before laughing again. "You are so weird." She told Louisa. "And I mean that in the nicest way possible, of course." Really, she did. It was just funny how she thought motorcycles were so bad. "And they're not dangerous if you know how to use them." Which Dallin did, so there you go.
Looking back at Dallin, Ellie noticed the giant smirk on his face. She snorted at Louisa though. Claiming to not have been talking about Dallin. It was probably one of her tactics to save his ego or something. "Well, I just got Louisa here to agree to ride a motorcycle with you." Ellie told Dallin with a giant smirk. "Isn't that right, Lou?" Ellie asked the girl with a teasing smile. Two could play at that game, right? And it was all fun and games, of course.
And then the Quidditch captain appeared on the other side of Dallin and Ellie saw her wave at them. She waved back out of politeness. Even though Ellie Stone was friends with Dallin, Ellie was still intimidated by her. She just had that... Quidditch Captain look about her that kind of scared Ellie. And it was then that Ellie J. realized that she had never really been introduced to many of Dallin's friends. Dallin had met Chandler and Zayden and Mia, but Ellie hadn't ever met his friends. Like Ellie S. And Treyen. Welp. Oh well?

Oh, they were talking about him? Dallin smirked at this, unable to help himself, until Louisa pointed out that - apparently - only Ellie had been talking about him. He raised his eyebrows at this, looking at Ellie, trying to wipe the smirk off his face.
"So," he said, trying hard not to sound at all amused, "What were you talking about? Or, in your case," he turned his head to look at Louisa with his eyebrows raised, "Not talking about?" It was fair for him to ask, right? Since it was about him and all...
"Oh! And happy last night of the term." Yep.
Oh, look! Ellie was joining them. Wonderful. Dallin grinned as the captain came closer to where he was sitting. "I've been alright," he answered with a nod. "Busy with studying and all." Like a good little Ravenclaw.
"How about you?" He wasn't going to ask about Quidditch; she might lecture him about not going to the games. And he already felt bad about not knowing first-hand how Ravenclaw did in the championship, or lack there-of. He really had no idea.

She smiled at Ellie J. and...the other girl that was there. "Hello." Yeah, she waved again. For no reason, she just...it just happened.
So, Dallin, "How've you been?"
Louisa's jaw dropped open at Ellie's CLAIM. "No!" She shot a look at the older girl, and then moved her squinting eyes at him, "If you dare to put me on one." Well, he knew her way of dealing with... issues. That love potion was a vivid memory probably.
As for his smirk, Louisa chuckled sincerely but made it look like a forced one, "See, miss girlfriend? You're spoiling him. He can't contain his pop star smirk anymore." Because if she hadn't told him they were talking about him, his head wouldn't be a balloon of ego right about now.
...and miss Captain joined them. And waved! Louisa waved back a little bit too enthusiastically. Many reasons for that; first off she looked quite normal, unlike the previous one, there were no scribbles on her arms- well, the little of her arms that Louisa could see anyway, she did have a rather friendly tone to her voice when she spoke, AND she didn't hold her bat and waved it around at younger students' heads. So yeah, she was cool.
"Hi." Still grinning at her. "Nice Quidditch season." Because they hadn't won the season and Louisa wasn't really sure what to say to miss Captain- staying silent was not her thing of course.
Ellie J. looked quite.. awkward. The younger Ravenclaw didn't miss that, and she made a mental note to investigate later. Maybe sooner than later too.

She fumbled around under the banner, trying to escape, but it was too big. SOMEBODY HELP HER.
..huh? Heard what? Louisa's eyebrows were raised and she almost opened her mouth to speak when a huge banner fell down. The Ellie girl squealed making Louisa flinch, "Hey!" She frowned looking around, "Who did this?" Hmm? Standing awkwardly between the bench and the table, she looked for any troublemaker. The older girl was still fumbling under the banner.

Louisa's face brightened hearing Caroline's Kita-ish greeting. "Hey," she hugged the older girl back. Looking at her face closely, she frowned thoughtfully a bit. "Caroline? Are you... were you crying?" Pouuut. Was she one of those graduate who had a 'sob fest' as Ellie had called it? The younger Ravenclaw shook her head solemnly and patted the girl on the shoulder, "I think it should be a happy night for you. The night which will launch you into the real world for achievements and more education." Talk about being a nerd. And an insensitive one at that.
Jez was about to remind Nate of the suspicious bag-carrying caretaker, and how this troublemaker might have been brought here against its will, when she noticed he wasn't looking at that great. "Hey, you okay?" she asked gently, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I take back what I said earlier, go to sleep if you need to ... or is this purely stomach-related?" She was guessing the second option. "I think the house-elves might have bigger things on their mind than sending up the feast." Exhibit A: the elf standing near her now. She went through her pockets. "No more sweets left on me, mate. You ate my last Chocolate Frog." She was about to add sorry, but decided against it.

Pam tickled Nate's stomach in response to his growling. "Nor is it a good idea that you're eating more sugar." She said, gesturing to the gummi bears. Looking around, she realized how much of a mess this had turned out to be. Banners everywhere, and house elfs running about. What was going on here? She thought to herself. "I've read the book, multiple times. They better get going soon." Well, at least she had a story to tell her mother.
Hugo had vaguely been staring at the Slytherin table since he sat down at the Ravenclaw table. Fourth year was over. He'd always felt like this at the end of term feast. Tired, empty. It didn't help that he hadn't done so well in Quidditch against Hufflepuff. Sure, he was the number three top scorer but what did that help? Next year would be his fifth year. Since the match against Gryffindor he had completely dropped his studying for his OWL's next year. Now he would have to take it up again. Something seemed less appealing about studying now. He looked forward to being home. He would lock himself up in his room, study, play some Quidditch, just have a nice summer.
Cael blew his bangs out of his eyes with a huff, straightening his crooked robes. All around him, Ravenclaws were trying to get themselves back into some semblance of order after scrambling to free themselves from under their house banner.
He saw a house elf nervously wringing its hands and looking quite guilty. Were the little things starting a full-out revolt then?
"Anyone know what all that was about then?" he asked no one in particular as he redid his tie.

Jordan's head snapped around, he knew that voice! He looked around until he found the source of it. "Cael!" he yelled as he lauched himself towards the boy. "Where in the world have you been?" he demanded, he couldn't stop himself smiling. He hadn't seen Cael in aages!!!

Cael laughed as Jordan leapt at him, wrestling him into a headlock and noogying the boy until his hair started to change color.
"Jordan! Where've you been?! I've been in the library of course, where all good little eagles go at exam time." he laughed, releasing the other and spinning around so that his back was against the table and he was facing the center of the room.
"Seems like it's been ages since I left those stuffy shelves," he groaned, stretching his arms above his head. "Merlin, mate. I can't believe we're about to leave this place. I know we'll be back soon enough, but..." he broke eye contact, glancing at the floor with a grim expression.

Jez glanced from Nate to Pam and back again, looking puzzled. "Um, am I missing something here? The Hunger Games? What's that, some kind of weird Muggle sport?" Where people make themselves hungry ... very weird. "And you should always eat before a feast," she told Nate, unable to contain a smile. "Trust me, it's worse if you don't. A tested hypothesis." You don't want to know ...
Jez scanned the hall. More people had come in, and with them more house-elves. She needed answers, but she knew better than to ask the elves when they were trying to work. You couldn't get a straight answer out of Jik and Gaggy, her family's house-elves, when they had cooking on their minds. Jez's stomach suddenly swooped. "Oh no ..." she whispered. What had happened to the poor elves when her family had been kidnapped? Had they been forced along? Had the kidnappers had the heart to let them go (doubt it)? Or had they just been ruthlessly murdered? Jez bit her lip to stop herself from crying. Those poor, poor little creatures ...

Jordan stumbled out of the headlock with multicoloured hair, he looked around dazed for a minute before focussing on Cael. "Aaah you are such a Ravenclaw!" he groaned, "I've never actually been in the library myself but hey!" he grinned. "Where've I been, I've been mingling with all the other non-eagles and stuff. You missed Faina and Nate break up, get back together ad then break up again. And then Jez and Nate get together. There's been some drama and more!" he grinned at his friend.
"I know! This years gone so quickly!" Jordan smiled, "But what? What Cael?" he noticed caels grim expression.

"Oh? Never been to the library?" Cael grinned evilly, poking the other in the side. "Guess that explains why you all are in third place. It's all your fault then, eh?" he teased jokingly.
Drama? Guess, it was a good thing he'd missed out on all that then. "It's probably for the best I wasn't involved. Even drama not about be me tends to become drama about me, if you catch my drift. Maybe I should work on that next year," he mused, tapping a finger against his lips in thought.
Cael frowned, staring off into space. "Well I know I haven't been around much recently, but Hogwarts just feels more like my home than, well, my home. You guys are my family, you know? Guess I just don't want to leave," he muttered, scuffing a boot against the floor petulantly.
"You'd better write to me this summer, Jordan!" Cael warned suddenly with a grin, glancing up at the other through his messy hair.
Leaning away from Carter, she looked back to her Captain. Yes, she would really miss flying with Ellie and all the fun they had on the pitch together. Those moments in the air with her team would forever be burned into her memories. Mina knew deep inside she was just being overly emotional about it, but it was really like she was learning her family and there was no chance that she might see them in the same capacity again. She had grown to really love and respect the fifth year before her and she wanted her to know that.
Offering a small smile, she wiped her tears and returned the small hug to her captain. "I'm just being a silly girl right now." She needed to be strong and it really wasn't a time for tears. When she thought back on this moment, she wanted to remember the happy moments and not the sadness that she felt. Her time there wasn't all that terrible. There had been amazing moments and she did remember that there were moments where she couldn't wait to leave and start her new life. She just felt so conflicted at the moment though.
Wiping more of her tears away, she smiled brightly for her captain. "Bring both of those cups back to our house for me and all the alumni. We will always be the best, but having the cups back where they belong would be great. Winning isn't EVERYTHING, but it's nice to win something. Don't make me come back here and show those ickie firsties what it really means to be a Ravenclaw. We aren't the bad things that the other houses might think us, we are better and we need to show them that. I'm just sorry that I didn't live up to the awesomeness of the seventh years before me, but at least I tried my best for you all. Keep the true 'claw spirit living and make sure there are more EPIC Ravenclaw parties too."
Their parties were the things of legend and every 'claw should get to experience a few in there time there.
Glancing back and forth from Carter and Ellie, she smiled. "Well, Carter it looks like you will have yourself a mini fan club there for you this summer."

And tonight was the last night he'd ever spend up in the Gryffindor tower.
Okay. Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. He needed to think happy thoughts. Like... how everyone promised to visit him. That was something to look forward to. "Same here." he said with a nod. He was excited to see everyone again. It made leaving the castle much less... devastating...
Yes, Ellie agreed. Mina was being a very silly girl. Crying and whatnot. It wasn't necessary. "No, you're not. It's completely understandable." There was a fine line between fibbing and lying. Ellie walked it like a Pro.
Both the cups? Ellie only really wanted one. The Quidditch Cup was all she truly cared about. Yet, it was Mina and she was crying and everything and Ellie just wanted her to be alright. "I'll try. I'll do you one better and try for all three." Cause she was pretty good at Gobstones.
And Mina was wrong by at least one ickle thing. "You surpassed the awesomeness, Mina." Or at LEAST matched it. The Seventh years before Mina that Ellie knew weren't any better than her. Which, weren't many, but STILL.
Also, she'll try for cool Ravenclaw parties. But everyone knows that without Becca and Nia and Jacob, parties aren't anywhere near epic. It was just impossible. Unfortunately.
She turned to Carter. Who...could have a seat, you know. "I'll let you know who I end up playing for." Nod. Though, he probably wouldn't hear about that for...a long time. Because Ellie had no idea yet, and had at least another year to decide. So...he could wait. Hopefully he was patient. Or didn't care enough. That worked as well.
"When's the first game you're playing in?" Ellie could try and go to that one. Among many others. But his first would be especially awesome.
Vashti's wave was seen from the corner of Ellie's eye. And returned. They...the Ravenclaw team...from Ellie's first term, which was her favorite team ever no offense to the current, should all get together this summer. It needed to happen.

Ellie J. looked quite.. awkward. The younger Ravenclaw didn't miss that, and she made a mental note to investigate later. Maybe sooner than later too.
Studying.
Gross.
Must they talk about such a horrid subject? Really, Dallin. "Same," her voice clearly showed her distaste, "OWLs were worse than I imagined. And I imagined like...something really awful. I'm surprised I survived. I'm surprised I can still think for myself. I'm surprised my brain hasn't melted." And oozed out her ears and nose and eyes. Honestly, she would not have been surprised if that happened. It FELT like any minute, she'd just not have a brain anymore. If that made sense.
"Any summer plans?" Summer was a MUCH better chit-chat subject, by the way.
Her eyes went between the two girls. They were awfully quiet. Ellie never thought Ellie J. looked like a quiet one. But...seemed she was. Her summer question could go to her, too, if she wanted to answer. Same with the dark-haired girl.
Oh, hey, maybe... "I'm Ellie, by the way." In case they didn't know. Just because she knew Ellie J., didn't mean the girl knew her. And the younger one Ellie didn't know at all, so... Introductions were good.
But then the other girl piped up. About Quidditch, no less. "Eh." That summarized the Ravenclaw season, she thought. "Next term will be better." She nodded. Optimistic. But Ellie usually got optimistic at the end of term, when she realized that she could practice ALL summer, uninterrupted by studies. It was a great realization. And Ellie was EXCITED.
And then...Ellie J. had a banner over her head. One had grazed her own shoulder, too. Erm....
Maybe a Hufflepuff had gotten upset about the Slytherin win and decided to redecorate?
Who knew. It was easy for her to brush off, though.

Ronnie didn't make eye contact to Harvey at all, but she spoke. She drew in a deep breath. "DON'T CRY. Whatever you do, don't cry. AT ALL." she told herself in her head. "I'm fine, Harvey! What are you talking about? Why would I be...not fine?" she asked in a high pitched, weird tone. She hiccuped. "DON'T DO IT." a voice yelled in her head. She obeyed.

Harvey watched Ronnie, but she didnt look at him. That was not like her, she usually couldnt keep her eyes off him and now she was not looking at him. So that told him that something was wrong. She then asked what he was talking about and why she would not be fine, and that too in a high-pitched voice. Now THAT was not like her, she never ever spoke like that before. So that is why I am wondering what is wrong." he said still looking at her, trying to understand what had suddenly happened to her.

Ronnie felt Harvey's eyes on her. She sighed and made some weird squeak noise in the back of her throat. Okay. Time to tell the truth. Hope this goes well.... "Well, before I was happy and cheerful as you said. But now..." she squinted her eyes so the tears wouldn't fall out. "Now...." she couldn't say it. She took a deep breath. "N...now given a certain....change of events, I'm not as happy and cheerful as I was b..before." she said, fighting back the tears. She shook her head sharply, making her orange hair flip. "I saw you, Harvey. At the Hufflepuff table." she finally said quietly. "I saw the way you looked at her. You know who and what I'm talking about." she said through gritted teeth, still not meeting his eyes.

Harvey listened to what she was saying, he wanted to help through this new problem she had. But when he heard it.. he was shocked. He didnt know what to say.. she had seen him look at Minnie? "Ronnie.. you mean Minnie? Oh! well of course you must mean her" he said his breathing getting rapid.. He had been caught!!! He had to say something but what... he wasnt even sure he felt that way about her... he was not sure of anything. "Rons... babes... I love you! ok... what you saw was a weak moment on my part... it wont happen again.. Ok? you are the girl for me! Please believe me!" he said to her looking at her and he got her hand and held onto it "Please it was ... nothing!" he said still clutching her hand.
Not that it was necisarily bad, but Presley had definitely noticed Elliot's continual use of Presley's last name. It was as if she couldn't just say "Presley" she had to add "Black" to it. Like a strange compulsion? Anxious. Presley's eyes met the other girls for less than a second, but it was enough for Presley to understand exactly how poor Elliot felt. She nodded, "Yeah, me too, a little." She would have to face her father at some point during the holidays, and she wasn't quite sure how that encounter was going to go, or even how she wanted it to go.
She remembered that the last time she'd spoken to Elliot, the girl had recieved a letter, and hurridley left, but Pres hadn't thought it a big deal. She assumed it was important news, and Elliot mentioning it was from her father only confirmed her suspicions. "Oh, don't worry about that."
Then, all of a sudden there were giggles coming from everywhere and banners falling to the ground. Presley jumped back, and resisted the urge to shriek. "What in Merlin's name?" She settled for instead. Looking around to try and locate the source of the trouble.
Elliot simply nodded in agreement to...Presley saying she was anxious as well. Obviously the second year didn't get along with her father...quite different than Elliot's situation.
Elliot was VERY glad Presley didn't ask what her father had written for. It was one thing Elliot liked about Presley...not that Elliot would EVER admit that!
"Yeah...I don't know what it was! But it looks like the other house tables are having the same problem!" she cried as she glanced around the room. She smoothed her hair down, since she hated looking unkempt. Elliot was a perfectionist, afterall.

She heard a familiar voice and turned to see none other than Caelius. Smirk. "Why, hello there, Mr. Caelius. Haven't seen you in QUITE some time, eh?" she asked him, giving him a smug look. Caelius definitely brought out the arrogance in her...and she didn't know why.

Jayden skipped back over to the table, and found Cael had finally made his way down to the feast.
"Hey there, stranger!" She whispered in his ear as she sat down at the table beside him. "I've missed you! Excited for the break?" She asked, running her hands through her hair attempting to fix what had been messed up from one of the fallen banners.

"Duh, Minnie!" she snapped at him angrily. She then frowned. "Sorry..." she said quietly. She then listened to Harvey intently, not daring to look at him.
She looked at him, unconvinced at first. He had to do better than that. "That's what you said last time." she said in a bored tone. The last time...that was at the lake when she got all mixed up and new nothing about them. Then the other time was at the candy shop. Two times. Why didn't he just break up with Ronnie if he liked Minnie so much?! What was he doing here, clutching her hand when he was supposed to be doing it to Minnie? She quickly took her hand away.
Then, it hit her.
The thought of them holding hands, it made her head whirl with anger. She'd hate to see Minnie with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, that she's probably losing right now by snapping at him and ignoring him. She finally, slowly, looked at Harvey, meeting his eyes. The ones she loved staring at. Tears slowly began to form in her eyes. "I'm sorry....Harvey..." she said, choking slightly. "I'm SO sorry...I didn't mean..." she put her face in her hands and began letting out what she needed to.

Oh, ho! Look who it is, Cael grinned to himself as he heard Elliot's voice pierce the din around them. Merlin, but the girl was too fun. It was sooo easy to get a rise out of her that he couldn't help but snap right back. Composing himself, he launched the attack.
Feigning a look of disinterest, he glanced around the table boredly until his eyes settled on her smug face. Raising a singular brow, he paused for a moment to make her uncomfortable before drawling offhandedly, "Is that so? Well then you must be absolutely tickled that I've graced you with my presence. Who knew you kept such a close eye on my whereabouts? Does this happen to be a particular habit of yours, Miss Morganzo?"
Must. Not. Laugh. Must. Keep. Straight. Face.
Dear Merlin, she was going to murder him. How delightful.

"Mmm. Hey, Jay," he smiled, tipping his head back so she could play with his hair more easily. If he were a dog he was sure his leg would be thumping against the floor, he loved having his hair played with.
"Glad you're back. I was worried when I didn't see you after the banners fell, but I should have known you'd be with Elliot. The two of you seem rather close lately. I'm glad," he smirked, closing his eyes with a happy sigh.
Urgh, the break. "Not particularly," he frowned, glaring at the ceiling. "Like I told Jordan, this place is just homier, you know? I don't want to leave you all," he scowled, lacing their fingers together underneath the table.
The I don't want to leave you, went unspoken, but was there all the same.

"Yes, I completely understand. But it will be over sooner than you think. And since my parents simply adore you, I'm sure they wouldn't mind us visiting each other during the holidays." Jayden smiled, ruffling Cael's hair playfully. It was nice to finally be spending some time with him. Both of their schedules had been so filled with studying and other activities, that they had hardly seen each other, except during classes or when passing each other on the way to and from the library.
"I don't want to leave you all either."
Especially you.
"But I think the break will be nice, make you appreciate and miss me more."Jayden joked, sticking out her tongue playfully as she leaned in to give him a peck on the cheek.
Merlin. This boy could still make her heart beat faster than the wings of a snitch.

Harvey was shocked with her reaction to all this. Was she breaking up with him? "You mean... oh! yeah I did say that! But that was different.." he said, she then snatched her hand away... He couldnt believe what was happening.. just then she said she was sorry and that she didnt mean it. She started to cry.. he moved closer and hugged her and just held her. He hoped she wouldnt push him away.
