Jayden looked up, and saw that Cael was giving her and Nate the once over... "Oh, Merlin, I've really done it now...." she thought to herself... She had missed him while he was gone...truly. "Leave it.." She heard him hiss, and after giving her and Nate the once over she saw they were still holding hands. She removed her hand from Nate, and got up to hug Cael... "Thank you..." She whispered in his ear, truly grateful.







All seemed to be okay for a bit, until the girls lashed out.."They are relentlessness, like vipers, well... time to clear things up." Jayden thought to herself, dying inside a little seeing Cael put down like that...

"Cael, don't worry about them.." She whispered. "I'm really sorry I got you into this mess."

"I-it's my third year", she replied shyly.

"Okay. So transfiguration, defense and charms are some of those spell types?" Temperance asks "Okay. The there is likely a good reason for them to be illegal, I mean their name hints at the fact they're something that shouldn't be used often, if at all." she says

"Durmstrang is another magical school? I didn't know there was another one." Temperance says "Okay. I don't think I would land on my feet if I ever have to use one. Well if they're the quicker methods of travelling then it make's sense. I would probably fly everywhere if I could, as flying is something I can imagine myself enjoying alot; at least once I know I won't hurt myself."

Still overwhelmed by being sorted into Ravenclaw House, Clara, a little confused, struggled to find a seat. It seemed like everyone had already found a friend amidst all the hubbub of a new school year. Mumbling sorry as she ran into a 7th year, she awkwardly sat at an empty space, taking a look around at all the festivities.

"Yeah, I'm good," Cael smiled, feeling like he was on his way to patching things up with everyone. Cael gaped at her. THE Elliot?! Complementing him?! Cael wanted to desperately run outside to check and see if the Quidditch pitch had, in fact, frozen over...

"Haha, worthy am I?" Cael grinned happily, getting a bit of his self-confidence back. "Well if Elliot says so, then it must be true and I will certainly count myself lucky," Cael laughed, glad to have someone who supported him. She seemed to get him better than any of the others he'd met so far.

"So about before, sorry for not giving you my complete attention. Merlin knows if anyone deserves it, it's you."

Ah. Wait, what? "Oh. I see..." he offered lamely. "Um, what is it that you understand, again?" Cael asked as he fidgeted nervously. He wasn't approaching this very well at all. His confidence was practically shattered and he could clearly see that he had a long way to go before he could attempt to make things right.

"No," he assured her seriously, "You did absolutely nothing wrong. It was me and my idiot mouth that started this mess and so I'll be the one to fix it. Please don't think for a second that you had anything to do with this. I'll make it right, you'll see. I was just being a bit lamesauce," he smiled self-deprecatingly as he smoothed a hand over her hair.

"That's great!" Scott enthusiastically replied
"What are your favourite classes?" Scott asked politely.

Chelsea giggled she found it very easy to talk to Scott. "My aunt started teaching me when I was 9. She taught me how to use an expansion charm so I put it on my purse and it worked" she said. "I was hoping for Ravenclaw or Slytherin but I don't think I'm too fond of Slytherin so far"

"Exactly! And yes those curses are very illegal honestly they should never be used unless by the ministry" she said. "Yes Durmstrang, Hogwarts, and Beauxbatons are the three main magical schools. And flying is very fun I can't wait till next year when I can own my own broom!" she said.

"Oh Cael, thank you soo much!" Jayden smiled, grateful to have a good friend like Cael... He was like a knight in shining armour compared to Nate who in comparison, was more like an odd wizard in tin-foil...."Wait a minute? Lamesauce? Did you really just say that?" Jayden laughed, happy to have a bit of comedic relief!

She chuckled. "Never mind about that. Just .. . control yourself when insulting us." she said, nodding. What now ? Beatrice didn't have anything more to say. She was just a little lost for words, slowly .. she turned around and walked back to the table.

Annabeth smiled at Harvey, she knew that this friendship would last, she then spotted a girl who was on her own, she went up to her, "Hi! I'm Annabeth, whats your name?" she asked, she hoped that the girl would have some friends but if not, then she would be one, well she would anyway.

Annabeth smiled at Scott, "So what classes are you looking forward to then?" she asked curiously,

Hm. So she actually got his point, then? That was good, because he'd hate to sound like a jerk about this. And the implications were horrible. But... she was right too. Maybe it was just ingrained for the beginning.

Dallin straightened along with Ivory, a half-smile forming at her nod. Yay for not-depressing topics! "Studying?" He'd never thought of studying in the kitchen. Okay, really he never really thought about studying much at all. But studying and doing homework in the kitchen sounded... "That's a really good idea," he said with a light laugh. "Maybe I'll have to try it out sometime."

"Transfiguration, and Potions", she smiled, at the fact that finally she got something out without stuttering. Feeling a bit more brave, she asked "Are you a first year?".

Rachel smiled at Abbie, "Hi!" she said.

"Well maybe you could come with us next year, my dad says that he will be needed again then so maybe you could come!" she said.

"I did," Cael nodded seriously with a hint of a smirk. "I thought it fitting that I should compare myself with the stupidest, silliest and most inconsiderate of the sauces that exist in our Universe. I was, indeed, most lamesauce," he laughed, happy that he could make her smile.

"....," Cael really didn't know what to say to that. Insulting... as if she expected him to do it again? It was obvious his apologies had not and would not be accepted by this girl. As he watched her walk away, he thought it best that he put the whole situation behind him for the time being.

Nodding at his non-believing tone, Ivory nodded and dramatically pretended to fan herself. "One of my best." With a little giggle snort of sorts, she smiled genuinely. "You should. It's especially a good place to practice charms. Especially trying to cook with just magic." Her eyes took a wicked shine, it was always such a challenge. "I mean, you know obviously you can't transfigure or conjure food but you can work with all the stuff already there." Remembering her first attempts, she laughed lightly."When we first tried that in Charms class a couple of terms back it was loads of fun, though there was quite a mess to clean up afterwards."

Letting go of the goblet, Ivory felt her smile falter as the girl stared determinedly at her plate. Oh no, she certainly didn't want to make her feel bad.

"No worries," the Ravenclaw prefect assured with a gentle smile, " Nothing a little cleaning spell won't fix." Determined to show her how not a big deal it was, Ivory tapped her wand holster at her hip feeling the old wood slide easily into her palm. As the familiar warmth spread through her fingertips to come to a heated blue flame at the tip of wand, Ivory felt a sense of comfort. It was good to have her wand back. But anywho...touching the fiery non-flammable tip to her sleeve she went about cleaning herself up.

A few simple cleaning charms later, her sleeve was good as new. "See all good." Pausing for a second to holster her wand, the brunette placed a hesitant hand on the young girl's shoulder. "Hey, listen- Really, it's okay. Happens to all of us." Thinking back to her first year, Ivory gave a little laugh. "Why if you can believe it, I sort kind of blew up my cauldron my first year. So believe me this is nothing."

Jayden was grinning from ear to ear.. "Quite the comedian you are Cael.. So, after all of the drama from tonight's festivities, are you still up for walking with me to class tomorrow?" Winking as she asked; hoping that he would say yes, because after all of this... she didn't really have friends to walk with tomorrow besides Cael...

"Ahh, that's an interesting charm, haven't heard of it." Scott smiled
Scott leaned in and reassuringly said "I'm sure you'll grow to love Slytherin. Ravenclaw was the one I always wanted though." Flashing his trademark smile.

Gwen decided to finally take a seat at her house table. Looking around, she hoped she would notice some familiar faces. Yeah, there's Presley, Gwen thought grinning to the girl. Meh, she's not looking in this direction..., the girl told herself and made a few steps forward. At the Ravenclaw house table, she saw a few students she had noticed in a few classes, but never talked to them. Plus, I don't even know their names..., the ravie thought. After a while, she got bored from moving around, so Gwen scanned the place,and decided to stop at the closest seat.

Yeah... I think I know you!, she thought and grinned to the other girl. You are the one from America, right? Never mind... maybe I'm mistaken, the ravie thought and decided it was best not to ask her that. She then took a seat next to the girl, not minding to ask if she was waiting for someone. After giving a general 'Hi' to the others sitting at the table, and then turned to her new friend and grinned. 'How are you?', Gwendolyn asked. You do remember me, riiiight?, she thought looking a bit puzzled.

Chelsea blushed when she saw his smile. I have to admit he is quite handsome she thought to herself. "I'm sure I'll adjust" she said while flashing a smile at Scott. She was always told she had a good smile but it was probably because of the Veela in her. "So are you excited for the Hogsemead weekend trips?" she asked.

"Your wish is my command," he grinned, doing a silly little genie move. It seemed the first friends he'd made in Ravenclaw would be the ones to stick by him through thick and thin in the long-run. He was relieved that something inside of him had known Jay could be counted as one of those from the very beginning.

Jayden was elated... things were finally starting to calm down at the Ravenclaw table and Cael was going to walk with her to class tomorrow!

"Great! I'm looking forward to it, and I'm sure you're happy to do it, seeing as you don't want to have anyof my wrath unleashed after the things that went on tonight! " She stuck out her tongue playfully.

Shannon was happy to see Beezus happy, he couldn't help but think of Cella and how happy she was when he was around her. "You need anything, just find me. Got it?" He asked her, he wanted to make sure she had a good time at Hogwarts even if he was in the same boat as her, trying to figure things out. He couldn't help but take on the role as the older brother. It came too naturally.

"Made many friends yet?" He asked her. Shannon hoped she had better luck than he had thus far. Though Shannon wasn't complaining about the few friends he had made, they were all awesome.

Dallin grinned, laughing at Ivory's dramatics. But really, it was a good idea. Maybe he'd suggest the kitchen if Louisa ever wanted to study with - Oh. Louisa. The sudden thought of the girl made Dallin frown. He hadn't seen her at all since that day in Diagon Alley, and he was actually kinda worried about her. He actually wondered if she was avoiding him on purpose. But - that didn't matter right now, right? Because he was talking to Ivory and Louisa was clearly nowhere near him.

So, shoving that thought out of his mind and returning his attention to the conversation at hand, he raised his eyebrows. Cooking with magic? That would have been a good class for Dallin to be here for. Since he couldn't cook at all maybe cooking with magic could've helped him. "Maybe I'll have to research that," he commented with a chuckle. Yes. Cooking with magic; then when he was of age he could help out his mom! ...Maybe.

Josephine spotted her childhood friend from her table and went to sit next to her "Hey Dani!" she giggled "Did you knew? I can sit here too!" she said rather loudly.

"Must. Not. Incur. More. Wrath!" Cael wheezed, while pretending a heavy weight was crushing him slowly to the floor.

"Haha, but seriously, I'm glad it's...over now," Cael shrugged, not really sure if it actually was. It seemed people had stopped verbally attacking him...that was always a good sign, he guessed. "That one girl and I have reached...well, an understanding I suppose. We certainly haven't formally resolved anything yet, but honestly I'm thinking about making this face every time I see her until we're good, what do you think?" he asked, giving her his best puppy dog gaze and adding a small whimper.

He laughed at the look on her face, "If you were mad at me, could you resist it?" he grinned.
