Lola vs. Kurumi? For real? After his last encounter with Lola, he was most positive that he ought to be in the Stands right now. Lola wouldn't be too harsh on Kurumi, right? Wasn't she like her master or something?

This game was completely different form the last one, because there was no Ellie that worried him, or no Ellie vs. Kurumi, which he felt relieved for, truth be told. And he'd taken a seat far away from everyone this time, though, as to watch the game all quietly. Or away from Lafay, really, because she was beyond scary when Quidditch happened.

BUT LOOK! They had spotted the snitch! And...it was Christmas to him, actually, between all blurs of green and red that he was seeing. OH. Lola got it. Well, good job, Lola. And awesome job, Kurumi.

As Aurora said something about them being on fire, Iris glanced at Professor Lafay. She wondered if the Potions Mistress had let go of that habit... y'know... the setting students on fire thing.

Iris let out a small laugh at Aurora's statement. Naive children... "Ahh... I know we can, kid." she said, with a small, fake smile.

Iris looked at the other girl, she was younger, too. Hmm. Iris knew her... But how?? She was too young to be in any of her classes... OOH. That was it! "Hullo, Helena." Hehe. She had the same name as her mum. Iris remembered their conversation about that last term.

Now. Eyes on the game.... The game which will be veeery boring without her usual eye candy. Shame. But on the plus side... The Snakes seemed to be doing well enough without their captain....

Barely any time had passed since their game against Ravenclaw, and there was already another game. Well, it had been 24 hours, but it had seemed like no time at all. Isobel arrived at the pitch, not sure which team she was cheering for. She could cheer for them both, couldn't she? Yes, she could.

"And we will win win win win win until... well... until we've won..." she trailed off, laughing and getting more than a little too excited for a twelve year old.


Aurora followed Iris' gaze. "Oh yeah, Kryspin mentioned the whole fire thing." she said, laughing, wondering if Iris had met him, she'd have been in... fifth year when Kryspin left... she made a mental note to ask when Iris looked a little... happier.

"Are you alright? Just, every time I see you you're smiling and today you're not..." she said, being as blunt as any twelve year old would.

Even if he didn't know anyone on the Gryffindor or Slytherin teams, Damien was still quite curious to watch. He thought himself rather adventuours actually; coming out here all on his own to watch a game in which he knew none of the players.

Yes, quite adventuours indeed.

Yet as he wandered through the stands, his eyes fell upon a familiar blonde head of hair. Now, at this point, he was just plain happy.

Sauntering up to Isobel's side, Damien acted as if he'd been standing there with her all along. "You know, I think I'm getting the hang of this Quidditch thing," he said nodding his head in the direction of the Pitch. "Not to mention I'm taking it upon myself to be more social."

He turned to her and smiled. "Hi."

See? Helena was right, after all.

The girl heard some more noise, as the Slytherins were doing even better, if that was possible. HA! They were winniiiiiing! It was a good thing that Helena didn't like to shout for them. Hehe. But she turned around to face Iris again, and something... seemed to be bothering her. "What's wrong?" She asked, hoping that Iris wouldn't mind... much.

Buuut you know, cheer up, we're winning.

Win win win win win... until we've won. Exactly.

Well it appeared as though Slytherin would take the cake on this one. Lola was practically flying circles around Kurumi...

Could Gryffindor not catch a break?

Seren watched on in anticipation, she still had her eyes on the beaters and the bludgers for most of the time. She didn't really mind who won in this game, just so long as everyone was safe.

Kryspin? ... Iris had never heard of this person. And you'd have thought that she'd have known of someone with such a peculiar name. Obviously not though.

Iris shrugged, "I'm fine." she said, simply. Lying was such a useful human trait... "Ooooh, look! We're winning 40-10!" She said, pointing to the scoreboard. Diversions. Also useful.

Iris was sure that she didn't care about the older students when she was younger. That or Helena and Aurora were just very nosey... "Ahhh... it's nothing." Or, at least it would seem like nothing to you, so I'll just go with that one.

The game was moving on very quickly, which was good. She hoped that the game would be over soon enough, then she could go and find Aaron and find out if he'd sorted everything out with Shaw about his.. uh... well, incorrect spellwork... Really, out of everyone that Aaron could have annoyed from getting something REALLY wrong, it had to be the one with a thing for chainsaws...

"EEEEEEEE!"

Yes. She had done it again. The girl was late and now she was running towards the stands, squealing as she did so. And boy did Kita hate running!

But one thing the brunette didn't understand was... why the hell was there another Quidditch match ONE DAY after the other one? Didn't they know that certain people who have played THE PREVIOUS DAY would celebrate too much, sleep late and then oversleep the next day?

Stupid people!

But at least she was there now, decked out in red and green. Not taking sides can be seriously hard sometimes!

Kita ran up the steps as fast as her long legs would carry her and collapsed onto a seat somewhere along the middle of the stands. "Ahhh! I made it!" she whispered, her eyes flicking towards the scores.

Isobel had been quite bored, and lonely to be honest. The hyper Hufflepuff liked talking to people, or at least having the company of a friend. But then there was a lot of exitement in the game, so she was focused on that. She watched the seekers, wondering who would get the snitch, and she kept an eye on everyone else too.

Isobel nearly jumped out of her socks when she heard a voice next to her. She had not been expecting anyone to be there. She turned and saw Damien standing beside her. When did he get there? "See? I told you it's fun," she said. "It's even more fun when you're up there playing it." She smiled at him. "Well, that's a good thing. Maybe next you should work on not sneaking up on people and scaring them half to death," she teased.

"Hello. Did you cheer for us yesterday?" Isobel smiled.

"COME ON LOLA COME ON!!!!!!!!" Aurora yelled, waving her little green and silver flag and squealing a little. IF SHE COULD SEE WHAT SHE THOUGHT SHE COULD SEE...!

Nothing?

Alright. Helena didn't say anything else, and just gave Iris a smile. She definitely didn't believe that, but she wasn't going to insist and annoy her. Or upset her... or whatever she was feeling that moment. It was most probably something that Helena couldn't help her with, sooo... not her business. Hehe.

But then...

... did they... win?

"We won!" Like... THEY WOOOOON!

Lucas was watching the match pretty closely. He really hoped Gryffindor won. He knew Kurumi -- who was probably the closest thing to his best friend, at this point, even though he still didn't know her super-well -- had been a little disappointed when they'd lost the last match, so he didn't want that to happen again. On the plus side, though, there had been really good food to cheer the house up when they'd lost last time... Maybe losing wouldn't be so bad. No. Think positive! Positive! Gooooo Gryffindor!

Iris was pretty grateful that both girls decided to drop it. Following their gazes, Iris grinned a bit... Or, well.. she grinned a lot more than she had done already throughout the game.

LOLA YOU WONDERFUL GIRL! Because, y'know... if it weren't for her then Aurora and Helena wouldn't have dropped their questions, and they wouldn't have won the WHOLE game without her!!

Even with the mood she was in right now, the Head Girl still managed to let out a cheer or two for Lola.

Damien raised his hands in defense since he clearly startled Isobel by his sneaking. He never knew he was so good at it and made a mental note to have to sneak up on her again if the time ever presented itself.

He laughed loud and heartily as Isobel claimed Quidditch was more fun when acutally engaged in play. "I think I will leave the broom flying and Quidditch playing to you, though," he said.

Work on not sneaking up on people? "But it's so much fun," he teased, giving her a lopsided grin.

"I did indeed cheer for you yesterday," he declared proudly. "Meant to come up with a first year student from our house; Ness. However she fell ill and I came up here all on my own," he added, a proud look on his face. "It was quite fun, though I never knew how devoted some of these people are to their house Quidditch teams. One guy was meant to be dressed like an eagle, but he really looked like a big blue owl."

Mostly he had come because of Isobel and the fact he wanted to see her. No need to voice that just yet, though. "You played great out there, by the way," he added with a smile.

Aurora eyed Iris, and, noticing the cheers, decided to drop the subject of Aaron. But she did want to find out about him, what with her being his new serpent sidekick!

Anyway, she jumped up in her seat and yelled, cheering and waving her flag madly. "COME OOON, SLYTHERIN!!! WE CAN WIN AT ANYTHIN...G... that very nearly rhymed..." she laughed.

Iris laughed at the girl's "rhyming". Winning at anythin', that they could. Seeing as though Iris had no reason to hang around in the stands now, she went to stand up. Hopefully Shaw hadn't killed Aaron... Ooh. Talking of which. Turning to Aurora, Iris ran her hand through her hair.

"Oh! You... The Serpent Sidekicks..." Iris had seen Lafay's list this morning. She'd noticed that Aurora had been paired with Aaron. "Word of advice. If you ever need any help or advice, or anything from Aaron then don't worry about going to him. He's lovely and will help you. But... if you care about your safety, then come to me if the help or advice you need is anything - and I mean ANYTHING - to do with Charms or Transfiguration." Iris looked at Aurora, very seriously. " 'Cause... frankly, to say that they're weaknesses would be a very big understatement." She nodded a little bit. She loved Aaron, a lot, but sometimes she really did just think that he should be kept away from his wand. Like right now; now was one of those moments...

'Excuse me, I just got here" Willaim asked the boy. "How are we doing?" Wiliam asked him. " My name is William Montcenaggio aka William Starr" he introduced himself to the older boy.

"It is," Isobel admitted. "But not if you're the one being snuck up on." She sent him an accusing look, but smiled after a couple seconds.

"I told you it was fun," she said with a grin. "And I was right. See, you even came back to another game, where Hufflepuff isn't even playing." She nodded at his next statement. "Yeah, people can take quidditch very seriously." Sometimes she thought a lot of people were just plain insane.

Isobel blushed a little. "Thanks. Am I the only person you know on the team?"

Sure, Damien had ventured off to watch another Quidditch match. But now that he was here, talking with Isobel, he had to admit. He asn't even paying attention to what was going on at all with the match itself. Catching a slight flush in her cheeks was enough to make his heart start racing. And all of a sudden he felt nervous. Not like he was having a panic attack, or being nervous for being around Isobel. After all ... it was just Isobel. The same girl he'd talked to weeks before. Nothing had changed.

So why did get all flustered all of a sudden?

"As a matter of fact," he said, voice creaking slightly. He paused then and cleared his throat before continuing. "As a matter of fact, I'm acquainted with our Seeker, as well. Lockhart? Good man, that one," he said nodding his head.

Treyen had done a lot for Damien the past week. He made a mental note to tell Isobel about it later.

"Do you erm ... know anyone on the Gryffindor or Slytherin teams?"

Aurora's eyes widened. Oi? "Um, yeah, I was going to ask you about him." she started, then Iris carried on. Aurora smiled, "Thanks, Iris. It's like having my own little family." she joked, grinning. "Good teamwork, I bet you'd be good parents." she grinned wider. Mummy and Daddy snake. "Sorry." she chuckled.

"Seriously, thanks though. I'm sure I could make you smile!" she said. For the first time she had actually begun to care what other people felt like, that's what Hogwarts did to you. She smiled at Iris, pulling the green and silver ribbons out of her hair.

Was there something wrong with Damien? He looked...Isobel couldn't find the right word to describe it. The word, nervous came to mind, but that couldn't be it. She shrugged it off, deciding it was just a trick of her mind.

"Treyen!" Isobel grinned, because she was still happy they had won, and they definitely could not have won without Treyen. Well, no team could win with out a seeker, but still, Treyen was awesome.

Isobel looked out at the pitch to confirm if she knew anyone. She hadn't thought she did, the only people she knew in Gryffindor were Nika and Luke, and Ariana and Jake in Ravenclaw. Well, those were the first ones to pop in to her mind, there were more. "No, I don't. I did hug most of the Slytherin team though," she said thoughtfully.

Iris smiled at the girl, what she'd just said was cute. "Like a little family." ... Hehe. But then as Aurora brought up parenthood, Iris blushed. A lot. "Um... yeah.... a lot of people seem to be telling me that lately..." WHY, though?! They'd not even graduated yet!! It's like the wizarding world WANTS teenage parents! The weirdos... "It's a'ight...."

Nodding at the girl, Iris ruffled her hair. "You're welcome, kid. And thanks..." ... for cheering me up a little. "But I must dash now. Lots to get ready... Make sure you're in the common room later, okay? For the House meeting with me and Evan. It's important." She winked, and then got up from her seat. Turning away from the ginger first year, Iris made her way out of the stands.

Treyen may have heard his name being called somewhere around the Stands, Isobel did it, to be more precise. But he was glad he wasn't calling him for real. She was talking to Damien.

He wasn't even curious about why she'd mentioned him, because the game had now ended, and his eyes narrowed at the Pitch as if that would make his eyesight better and he could tell who'd gotten the snitch.

Vindictus announced it, of course, and it was Lola. But if that girl over there was Kurumi, then she was alright, and Treyen smiled. She was okay, and he could feel free to walk away from the Pitch as content as possible. He would've preferred it if Gryffindor had won, but at least Kurumi didn't get hurt.

So, without further ado, the Prefect got up and headed to the Castle. He wasn't in a hurry this time around.

Aurora grinned, "Maybe you should just get married instead."

Aurora tensed as the girl ruffled her red hair. "Y-you're welcome." she said. Running her fingers through the long, wavy, auburn mess that her hair had suddenly become. "Right. I'll be there." she said and waved as Iris left the stands.

But the very next time someone touches me I'll... poison them. she thought.
