Sitting on his desk, his eyes on his feet with which he drew random patterns in the air, Jeremy patiently waited for the first few students to arrive for his lesson. His first lesson of the term. He hoped to see many new faces and just as many returning. Well, he was going to know soon.
Behind him on the simple blackboard he had written his name and the subject he was teaching:
Professor Jeremy Zookara
Muggle Studies
Just in case somebody had come to the wrong classroom and didn't actually want to attend this lesson. He didn't want anybody to realize half-way through that this wasn't Care of Magical Creatures after all.
OOC: Class has now officially started, so please no late arrivals, no chatting and make sure you're familiar with the Classroom Rules. If you haven't posted your character arriving, you can just pretend like they have been there all along. ^__^

K-Lee made her way into class, tired, but feeling brighter after a few classes. Seeing practically no one else in the class she rose an eyebrow in surprise. She was this early? What a first.
"Hello professor, how are you?" She said, smiling at him brightly and taking a seat. She looked around the room, trying to see if anything would point towards what they were doing that lesson, but couldn't find anything. Aww. She had been hoping to have a clue. She wasn't too big on surprises, thus her shock and anger at being told she was transferring next school term.

Daichi walked inside the classroom with a huge grin on his face. This was the first time he hadn't got lost! The first year had walked to the classroom without any detours and he was even one of the first.
His grin didn't leave his features as he looked around. It looked like any normal classroom and when his eyes landed on the professor he quickly dropped his stupid grin. Instead, he put on a smile and waved at him. "Hello Professor!" he said still waving. "Can't wait to start my first..." he glanced quickly to the blackboard. "Muggle studies lesson!" He then turned around to find a seat and chose one near the front.

Jamie was feeling very jolly today. He had finally caught up on some sleep, which was important, but he was also excited for the first Muggle Studies lesson. How muggles survived always fascinated Jamie, because he knew that he would never be able to live like one. The third year ambled into the classroom and found a desk at the very front.
"Hello, Professor -" his eyes found the blackboard, "Zookara." Did he say that right? Placing his bag on the desk, Jamie took out everything he would need for the lesson. Right, right. All set for some learning.

Kurumi was SUPER excited for Muggle Studies, and not because she really needed to study the subject since she had grown up non-magical, but because she adored Professor Zookara. If she were THAT type of person, she probably would have made a T-shirt that had his face with a GIANT heart surrounding him and something to the extend of 'Zookara is my Wizard' or 'Zookara for President'! But, Kurumi was far too timid for such things.
Practically skipping into the classroom, Kurumi walked right up to her favoritest professor and smiled. "Good day, Professor Zookara," she chirped before taking her seat right in front. "Walnut wanted to come to class with me today, but I told him he needed to stay in the common room. I don't think he is very happy with me right now. He really likes you." She took out her parchment, quills, and textbook and set them in a perfect row on her desk before taking a seat and folding her hands over her book. "Have you found a spot for the rubber duck yet?"

Sarah was intruiged as she entered the classroom. Since her father was a muggle, she knew a lot about non magical stuff. But Muggle Studies was about history was it, that might be boring. she thought. She made her mind and saw the others. She quitely made her way in. " Hello professor! Unfortunately, Eino didn't know any songs about Muggle Studies that he could sing on his way to class in preparation. He made his way to class full of excitement. He wasn't particularly interested in muggles themselves but in their gadgets. They had very nifty items that Eino liked playing with, even though he didn't know what they were most of the time. He waved at the professor but he wasn't sure if he had seen him so he took a seat in the front row and waited patiently for class to begin.

She had no clue why she was taking this class still. Perhaps because of the interesting topics? Or that the class was only on the first floor...but either way, she was considering giving it up. Really now, there was no way she was going to end up with a job that had to do with muggles.
Than again...it was so easy to walk to this class...

The only class that Mia excelled at, probably because she had grown up with muggles and had even thought she was part muggle. That was until she found out that she is actually a pureblood. But that's another story for another time. "Hey Professor Zookara. Looking good as always." she said brightly and giving him the peace sign as she sauntered passed his desk.
And then she was right behind a familiar looking Slytherin. "Ev!!! Where have you been?" Mia had not seen the girl since...the train. She was sure that the girl liked to hide from everyone. Except Josh that is.

Muggle Studies. Uhhh. Helena still didn't know much about muggles, so she was still nervous about this class. But that was definitely not a reason not to take the class.
The girl walked inside the Muggle Studies classroom, kind of looking around for... something. She didn't know what. But there were no clues of what they could learn this lesson. So... she made a few more steps further and smiled at the man. "Hello, professor," she greeted, then sat down at the nearest desk, somewhere in the front of the classroom.

Isobel walked in to the classroom and her eyes were immediately drawn to the blackboard. She recognized this professor, she had talked to him a little last year. "Hello professor," she said cheerfully. Then she looked to see if there was anyone she knew. Since there wasn't, she took a seat by herself.

Ariadne hoped she would do well in this class. True, she was Half-Blood, not Pureblood, but was raised entirely in the wizarding world. On the other hand, her mother made sure she knew the most important things about Muggles, and she had even made a few Muggle friends in the neighbourhood.
The first year greeted the professor politely: 'Hello, sir.' and then looked around for a place where to sit.

For Caroline being a pureblood, she sure did love Muggle Studies, or maybe it was because Professor Zookara was one of favorite teachers. She made her way to the classroom even thought, she was still tired this morning she skipped breakfast, because she had sleep-in. And by the time she got up it was nearly time to get ready for class. "Hello Professor Zookara" She smiled and went toward the middle of the room. After taking her seat she got out all of the things that she would need for class today.

Before entering the Muggle Studies classroom, Sierra Greingoth checked and double-checked her schedule. She hadn't signed up for this class, so who in the name of Hades put her here?! As soon as this first class was over and done with, she was going to take care of this problem straight away. Muggle Studies was just not her thing.
She sighed and opened the classroom door, her brown eyes scanning the room in search of somewhere to sit. Ahh, Evelyn...and that Hufflepuff girl she thought was named Maria. Or Mia. Something. Passing by the professor's desk, she gave him a small smile of acknowledgement and then took a seat by Evelyn and Mia. "You two get stuck taking this class, as well?" she said, sliding into her seat.

Muggle Studies. Finlay wasn't good at this class. Not good at all. So really he didn't know what he was doing here. Maybe he could just like sit, and try and look like he got it. Probably wouldn't work that well...he had a feeling. "Hello Professor." The headboy nodded with a smile, as he wandered into the classroom. He glanced at the students already there, noticing Mia, and Evelyn. He waved at them, but decided against sitting with them. He hadn't seen Evelyn since Marie broke up with him, and didn't really know how things stood with him, and the other members of the she-snakes. Instead he sat on his own, and pulled out some parchment.

Muggle studies. She was quite sure this lesson was going to be boring. But, she'd thought the same before the History of Magic class as well and surprisingly, it turned out to be quite fun. Hopefully, this class will turn out be a bit fun as well. She entered the classroom with her bag slung over her shoulder. She smiled at the professor and greeted, "Hello Professor" before she looked around for a seat. She spotted one which was quite near to front of the classroom and sat down.

Jai walked into class for Muggle Studies. He had an interest in this area because of his parents' occupation. When on exploration expeditions they often times found muggle artifacts. He found a seat quickly and waited for class to begin.
