Ronnie walked into the common room, and looked around. She stopped and looked at it. This was Hogwarts. This was her home. It was where she belonged. She smiled and sighed. "Yeah, Scabbers. This is our home." She whispered to the rat that was nestled in her ginger hair on her shoulder. Scabbers squeaked, and Ronnie smiled. She then walked to a chair by the fire, sat down, and began to draw a grindylow....by herself.

Tenn couldn't help but look at the girl with flaming red hair who have just entered the room. She seemed to be talking to a rat, which obviously isn't her favourite pet but will do. the young one went to sit near the fireplace.

She stared at her for a moment. Too tired to continue, she opened her bag which was sitting on her lap and pulled out a large heavy bounded book for her reading. She opened to where she had placed the bookmark, her father had given her and she drowned herself towards reading it.

" What are you drawing? William asked the girl. " Now let's hope your rat is not a Peter Pettigrew" William laughed. " My name is William Starr" he introduced himself to the girl.

Ronnie noticed someone looking at her. She smiled and walked towards her and sat next to her. "Hi, I'm Ronnie Weasley. What's your name?" she asked.

Ronnie noticed someone walk up to her. She looked up from her drawing and put her quill down. "I'm drawing a phoenix! I mean Grindylow!" she said smiling at her mistake. How could you mistake those two creatures?! "And I've made sure my rat isn't a Peter Pettigrew." she added laughing. She's heard stories about Peter Pettigrew many times from her family. "Oh and I'm Ronnie Weasley!" she said. "Nice to meet you, William!" All of a sudden, a letter from her mother slipped from under her drawing. Her face grew red and she quickly grabbed it, then thoughts of what happened to her family came rushing back to her. She put her face in her hands and began to sob, right in front of William. What a fool she was.

"Thanks Jayce." Cove said smiling and taking her sheet music from him. "Your accent. I'm from California. Born and raised." She said. "Where are you from?"

Ronnie walked into the common room, in need of an owl. She didn't know who to ask, though. So she decided to yell her question. "DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OWL I CAN USE TO SEND A LETTER WITH?!" she yelled, hoping someone did.

Levi collapsed onto an empty chair, staring up at the ceiling in boredom. He had managed to scrape an Acceptable on one of his tests but that wasn't anything to really rave about. He stared at the off-white sheet of paper for a moment, his dark eyes scanning the little comments the professor had written on his essay. Most of them were reminders to watch his grammar as well as suggestions on how to not skip over important details. He supposed it was better than getting the usual P but it could have been higher. With a shrug, he crumpled up the essay, sat up, and shoved it into his bag.

He slumped back again. Who really cared about school anyway? There were more interesting things to concern himself with. He opened one of his muggle comics and started to read.

Nika shrugged. Chocolate used by healers. Eh, she'd have to look into that. "Maybe if I could tell my parents that they'd let me have some!" She said with a mischievous smile. She might even twist the truth a bit to get them to believe it but hey if she can get her parents to let her have chocolate then a bit of a lie can't hurt. "Soooooo having fun?" She asked him with a big smile. She liked having his company.

Nika raised an eyebrow. Selina could have always just gone home to visit her family or something, but the girl probably had her reasons for staying at Hogwarts. Besides it so hard to leave the glorious castle once you love it. "Yeah, I didn't go home this term either." Though she had a different reason for this. Emily wanted to stay to find out more about her birth mum and so Nika promised her friend she'd stay to give the girl company. If only Nika knew that Emily was planning on leaving Hogwarts for good. She quickly shook the thoughts out of her head as she looked up again. "So what do you think of the new ministry professors?" They were both nuts! Especially Shaw. He was crazy.

Nika beamed at Thea. For some reason Nika was always the most hyper around her, Cove, and Samira. It was odd, but hey maybe it was just the chocolate frogs kicking in again? Maybe.... Nika shrugged as she thought about the question. She mostly always had more than a "nothing much" to answer with, but today she was just completely stumped. "Wellll.... I found my favorite quill?" She said with a sheepish smile. It had green ink

Nika looked around the common room and smiled when she saw Levi. She wasn't completely sure whether to go up to him, after the whole sneezing incident, but he didn't seem convinced that it was her. Maybe he still thought it was the care taker. Nika thought back to the day and shivered knowing that she shouldn't have even showed up, but she really did want to see her plan in action... stupid sneezes.

So instead of going up to the gryffindor she smiled knowing that he might not see because he was reading a comic book, but if he looked up he'd catch the smile. If he returned it, it means A. He doesn't remember the sneeze, B. He doesn't want to remember or C. He thinks it's the care taker. But if he glares at her it means A. He likes to glare at people or B. He hates her for ruining his kiss with Samira. Most likely it would be the latter.

Lucas laughed lightly. "Of course. Do you think I would have missed your first match?" He hadn't done anything crazy, just watched. He'd never been much of a player, but he liked watching. "You're welcome. Besides, I couldn't be the only square who missed the game." He grinned at her.

Purrrrrrrrrr. This girl was good. Diego was starting to like her more and more. Obviously she had good taste in felines (apart from the one she owned, of course).

Carter just shrugged. He would have figured Kurumi would be excited to see him all better. But apparently she couldn't get away fast enough.

He watched as she took a few steps backwards. "Umm... well, thanks again." he said.

Hmm... maybe he still smelled like quidditch?




Carter couldn't help but chuckle when a frantic Josh appeared out of nowhere. "Well if it's help finding a shirt..." he began. "There's plenty in my trunk upstairs..." He was almost positive that Josh was scaring the younger kids.

"Heyyyy. Watch where you point that cat." he said taking a few steps back. He was pretty sure swinging a cat in someone's direction was against the rules of friendship. He'd have to double check with Mina later to make sure.

"Hey. My name was 'Carter' long before I knew you. In fact, I should be the one accusing you of stealing my name." His good name to be more specific. "You know. I once got a summon for detention that was meant for you. If anything I deserve
another cookie."

He raised an eyebrow. "Josh Bludger?"

"HA! So you admit that you were the one stealing names."




Carter smiled. "I think anywhere that I live after school will be exciting..." Since he was muggleborn it would be a whole new adventure... even if it was a place typical wizards found boring or mundane.

"Yeah. It's one of the main reasons we've stayed so close." he said with a nod. "I think I might have gone crazy had they not written every few weeks and come back for the summers."

He chuckled. "Well I can testify for the brilliance of that invention." he said still chuckling lightly. "Basically, you put food in and 5 minutes later you food is hot and ready for you to eat." There was a little more to it than that... but unless she knew much about muggle science class he doubt it would make sense.

"I really do think it's brilliant. You must be extremely clever to want to be a wandmaker... or to even have that thought come up in your mind." It was something that he didn't hear everyday, which made him all the more impressed by the thought. "I've always wondered how wands work..." he thought outloud. "Perhaps years from now when you're a famous wandmaker you could give me a bit of an introduction to the process."

It would be like a backstage 'magic behind the magic' tour. ...Or something like that.

He slipped on the ship? Shouldn't she be worried about that? Heather removed her hand from his head. "Maybe you should go see the nurse, William." she looked at his leg. It was still a little swollen. "It would be better if you did...and you'd get a proper rest too."

" I bet your drawing is excellent" William told Ronnie. " Good, that means you rat is veryu good" Wiliam said to Ronnie." Ronnie Weasley, any realtion to Jason Potter Weslet? William asked Ronnie. "Are you ok? William asked Ronnie.

" No, I do not need to seee the nurse" William told Heather. " I am doing fine" William said to Heather. " I can rest in the boys dorm" Wiliam expalined to Heather.

She nodded. "if you say so. Have a nice rest, William." she said and turned back to Kurumi. She sat back down on the comfy couch and watched the flames dancing in the fireplace.

Raven see a familliar face, "Tenn, is that you, nice having you here" Raven said, coming from behind chairs where tenn sitting

"You're parent would believe you, Nika, even they're muggle, like mine" Raven say. "Even the so called doctor in muggle society, uses chocolate in their rescue operation" Raven add, and he thought by influences of wizardkind.

oh my, oh my, here is Raven again, inferior feelings arise, being a muggleborn

Thea's mouth went into a large O shape. [I]'Green ink?!?'[/I she cried, making Maleficent jump and hiss up at her. 'That is sooo cool!' She clapped her hands together. She did that a lot..
'I just have boring old black or blue ink..' Thea pouted. Hor hor horrr. Bendng down, she scooped up the white kitty. 'This is my transfiguration cat, Maleficent!' She wrinkle dher nose, had she already told Nika about her? Ooooh.

'Where do you live now, if you don't mind?' Out of term-time, obviously. 'What do your parents think about the wizarding world and magic? I've always wondered...' her voice trailed off, at the memory of her own Muggle father who just left his family without even an explaination. Clearly, he had been afraid of magic, but why? What could he have thought? That remained a mystery.

Ari nodded. 'Keeping in touch shouldn't be a problem then, even after you graduate.' The girl had gotten this idea that after graduation she would lose most of her Hogwarts friends because they would all go their separate ways. But maybe not, after all.

'That is brilliant! I wish they functioned in the wizarding world.' the girl sighed. 'Or I wished food could be conjured like any other object.' she added, sure of her inability to cook.

When Carter mentioned the wand introduction, Ariadne started day-dreaming. She could already picture herself as a successful wandmaker, with a shop like Ollivander's, or maybe bigger, but not in London-rather somewhere in northern England or Scotland. And she would take apprentices, passing the knowledge on to them, she would see students starting Hogwarts every year and give them their first wand...Eventually, Ari realized she had drifted away and blushed. 'Err...sorry, I got distracted. Yeah, that would be great, I'd love to, but only if you promise to give me an insight into whatever it'll be that you're doing by then.' the little lioness smiled.

Alex entered the common room after hanging around down at the lake. She walked in and passed a few other students who said Hi to her. She replyed with a smile and then went adn sat down in an empty chair near a girl drawing. "Watcha drawing there?" Alex said with a smile. "Im Alex by the way."

Ronnie turned to a girl who had sat down next to her. "A....grindylow." she replied. "Nice to meet you Alex. I'm Ronnie Weasley. Nice to meet you!" she said, trying not to sound sad. Hopefully she had done it.

" Thanks I will have a nice rest" Wiliam told Heather. Then William proceeded to sleep on the couch while sitting straight up.

Ronnie walked into the Gryffindor common room and waited. She had a letter in her hand, she was waiting for her friend Sophia to read it with her.

I checked the annoucment board " Wiliam told everyone in the common room. " We have a very important meeting here on July 1st" Willaim said to all in the common room. " The Quidditch captain and the prefects will be running this very importaamt meeting for Gryffindor" Wiliam explained to all. " Be There Or Be Square" Willaim laughed.

Levi peered over the top of his comic, his eyes widening when he saw Nika. Initially, he didn't know what to think. It had been a while since he had last seen her in person but he had been trying to avoid her out of embarrassment and paranoia. The problem was that he had sort of suspected she had been spying on him and Samira around Christmas time. He hadn't actually seen her in the act but he remembered that Samira had said her name, as if she knew she was hiding somewhere in the hallway. He wasn't mad at the girl, if his hunch was right, but he had been a little disappointed. He and the Slytherin girl had been so close to sharing their first kiss but somebody, whether it was Nika or not, prevented it with a loud sneeze nearby that nearly sent him on the ceiling.

If it was her, she couldn't have done it on purpose. It had been way too realistic but it still didn't completely get her off the hook. It was a little creepy to spy on people, especially when they were having a moment. Still, he decided not to bring it up because he didn't know if it had legitimately been her. He forced a smile and said, "Hey Nika. How are you?"

"No, not at all." Carter said with a smile. "I live in Surrey. We have a nice big house." It was nothing compared to old wizarding mansions though. "And we have a football field in the backyard. I used to play a lot."

"Oh. They've been supportive. We don't really get to talk about it much though. I have a little sister who doesn't know about magic... so they haven't been too involved since my first term." Which is why he was so glad to be lucky enough to have friends that were always there for him. There was a lot of times that he depended on them to help him out.

"With most of them, no. I expect we'll be friends forever." But with others, he wasn't so sure. Sometimes he wondered if it was proximity that kept some of his friends close. He'd find out soon enough though.

He chuckled. "Well... you could always look into getting a house elf..." he suggested. He wasn't sure what the process was behind that... or if they all knew how to cook. The ones he'd met though had been fantastic cooks.

He chuckled. "Oh, of course." he said. "I doubt I'd be doing anything that is remotely as exciting though." he said with a smile. As of right now he had no idea what his plans were at all. No, that's what this summer was for. He was going to check out a few quidditch teams. He also planned on making a trip to the Ministry to see if it appealed to him at all. He'd never been before and was rather excited.

Nika shrugged slowly. How did Raven know this stuff!? "Wow Raven, you know your chocolate!" She let out a small chuckle as she looked around the common room. "So how have you been?"

Nika nodded her head proudly. "Yeah! And it's not that gross, ewy darkish green. It's an emerald color!" Leave it to Nika to get excited over a simple color of ink. Hehe. She's special. "Yeah, we met that day by the portraits." She said giving Maleficent a nice scratch behind the ears. She liked cats, but Nika wanted a puppy. Maybe if she went and asked the headmaster about it she could bring one next school year.

Nika rocked back and forth nervously. She wasn't sure if Levi would know it was her and either way it just felt way too embarrassing to even try and admit it. She only smiled at him because he was sitting alone and he looked like he needed someone to talk to. Maybe Nika should have just left it and let someone else go up to him. But no. Of course she smiled and that just made him respond. She felt a rush of blood and looked down at her feet. All she needed to do was avoid the subject of her fellow second year friend and then maybe she'd be able to have a nice conversation with him. A conversation that didn't end in endless blushing and apologies. Now the only question was... How was she supposed to talk with Samira. The slytherin even called out her name a few times. That would be a different problem all together.

"Hey, Levi." She started off nice and smooth. Thank goodness her voice wasn't shaking because that would just give it away. "I-I'm alright." She realized her small stutter and gave herself a mental slap in the forehead because if she kept it up he'd surely realize something was running through her head. "How are you?" She brought back one arm behind her back and crossed to delicate fingers. For good luck. "Don't bring up Samira, don't bring up Samira, please please please Levi...."

Selina smiled at Nika in understanding, "Yeah I know, it can be rough not going home. I find it makes things better when you see your family in the summer though. You appreciate them more, no?"

Without even missing in a beat Selina answered, "Shaw is crazy. But he likes Latin so I guess he's kinda cool. I mean no other teachers would even talk about Latin so I guess I'm excited by his lesson choices. What about you?"
