Alex nodded his head a bit frustrated. "Yes they said no, just because it wasn't 'english' enough." he rolled his eyes when he made those little air quotes. "I could have walked around with an english accent..." Like, duuuh. Then he would have been english enough wouldn't he? Stupid rules. He didn't like rules. He noticed her little snort and his eyes flickered to glance at her. Eeek, he shouldn't have mentioned his Superman outfit, not to the girl he liked. It wasn't manly, hot or schmmmexy as he was supposed to be. Oh, he could be so stupid sometimes. Alex ran a hand through his hair, (could you believe it was just as messy as when he was his normal height?) and tried to think of something to say. "So... Anyways moving on." he chuckled lightly. "What do you think of the party?"

It didn't take a rocket scientist to understand those weeks of Christmas hadn't been the best ones. He fingered some on his vest and glanced at her sideways. "Oh and... How was it? I mean other than okay?" Could it have something to do with the fact that she had been thrown out of class earlier that term? Could it?! "I didn't go back to New York, I just spend it at... My friend's house." he said. It felt a bit awkward to talk about Emma with Ellie, so a friend would have to do.

He bowed his head a little when she hooked her arm through his and they started to walk forwards. Na, na, naa na na What could possibly happen? The prefect couldn't have made the maze dangerous because they didn't want the students dead, unless of course they had figured out that it was Alex who had turned that Puffer boy's underewear bright pink... Then they might be in some trouble.

So, why did a tea party have a maze? Like, what was the point? Something round, white and fluffy skippered past them. A rabbit.

Another rabbit? There couldn't be any point at all. Purely pointless. But then again, he had met Ellie in there so, the maze did score some plus points.

Isobel sent Sammy a 'look.' She just 'looked' at her. "Thank you Captain Obvious," she said, trying to hold back a smile. "I realize this," she said. "But they look huge. To us. Because we're small."

Satine followed along with the other two girls in awe of everything around her. She was so in awe that she was sadly tuning them out and just following along like a lost puppy following some random owner.

"I am soooo surprised about the big flowers and butterflies...everything is just ...well...just amazing.." she half way mumbled as she followed the girls. As she walked she must not have been looking and she ran into a leaf filled deadend.

She turned back to the girls and with a shoulder shrug said, "I guess we took a wrong turn a little bit back..." her statement was more of a question than a statement....she glanced up in the air hoping for a sign that would help her out. She flicked her wand and whispered, "Revealio" hoping something would give them a hint.

Sammy turned to Isobel. She could've at least called her Captain Obvious Antoinette Poisson SAMMY! It was more fun than just 'Captain Obvious' but instead of pointing this out she said. "your welcome" yes, she just accepted that she was Captain Obvious. It wasn't a title she was about to turn down.

OH LOOKIE HERE! A DEAD END! She watched as Satine preformed a spell. And Sammy assumed it was to see if anything was there. If the prefects had made you need your wand, Sammy was doomed, she could never perform well under pressure. "Nothing, guess we better go back" she said plainly, hitching up her dress and going to other way, waiting for the other two to follow.

Isobel stopped short as they came up to a dead end. "We could blast through it," she suggested. But then they turned around so she followed back the way they came until they came to other intersection. Isobel went left, since it seemed to be the philosophy Sammy lived by, well, at least for the moment.

“Drink one” Nulu read the sign and she blinked. "drink one? mommy said never to drink or eat anything that has been left alone." she said and sighed. 'mommy also said that if you were in a different place that you did not know, so that does not apply. This is part of Hogwarts, so it is safe and you know this.' she told herself. She nodded and too a sip of it and felt funny. She then saw the world spin and decided to stand for a bit

Kyle walked up to the sign, drink me she read.

"Okay if you insist" she spoke aloud and took a sip the tingling spread through her body ever inch of skin and muscle tingled and twinged.

"That tickles," she laughed.

Then opening her eyes she noticed that the world around her was giant.

"Oh dear." She exclaimed, shocked. The world was enormous. And she was only 15 cm high, she took a daring step into the maze entrance. After all the only way to get big was to find the other drink, at the maze's exit.

Seilna had been making her way through the prefect party for quite a bit now. She had heard and seen many of the older students acting curiouser and curiouser. Every now and again she heard the random out break of happy un-birthday songs. For some odd reason it all seemed very familiar to her, but she could not for the life of her remember why.

Her blue eyes then caught a maze and she wandered toward it. At the opening of the maze many potions bottles lay open and they all said "drink one". In any other time and in any other place Selina would have denied such a request, but it seemed fitting. Before she grabbed the bottle she straightened her bow and took in a deep breath. She then picked up the bottle and felt a strange tingling sensation all about her body, like she was on fire but in the most pleasant way. Then everything about her grew quite large.

"What an odd little potion." She said and then looked up to see that she was about the size of the bottle which she had just drunk from, "A very odd little potion indeed."

Sammy rolled her eyes. She was not blasting anything. If they needed to blast anything, it would've said at the start of the maze. And if it had said that, it needed to be in bigger writing because Sammy hadn't seen it. She followed Isobel left, smart girl. Never go right, always left.

Violet was having the best time at the perfectly planned Tea Party set up by the Prefects. And she was absolutely loving her outfit.From her shoes all the way to her flower clip. It was so her and she was having the best time wearing it. Violet had seen a bunch of people she knew and people that she recognized from her classes. But Violet had decided to take a little bit of a breather and decided to step out for a little bit.

What had caught her violet eyes was a maze. Where did that come from? Violet smiled and curiously began to walk towards it eagerly. When she had reached it she saw a bunch of empty bottles which she was a little confused about at first. What were they for, she had no idea. Violet picked one up and looked at the little tag on it saying "Drink One." She was a little confused about it at first and thought, Why would I drink one of these? What if it's poison? Gasp! What if it's a potion that makes you disappear?" Violet was arguing with herself for a few moments until she finally decided to just drink it. After she had done so it did not take long at all until Violet's body began to shrink, very rapidly. She looked around very confused until she had eventually stopped shrinking. Violet then began to scream and panic, running back and forth not sure what do. It was bad enough she was only 5 feet tall, now she was no bigger than a thumb! What was she going to do?!

Kyle saw Violet drinking the potion but being small herself lacked the ability to stop her - or even to be hard when she yelled a small NO out.

"Hi," she yelled walking over to her. "I'm Kyle Manning also Kyle the miniature thing right now." She laughed, as she looked at violet as she ran back and forth pannicking. "Here, we've got to get to the bottles at the other end I think - you know to become big again."

For some odd reason Selina felt very relaxed being small. Perhaps it was because today in those circumstances being small was not odd. It was obvioulsy set up to facillitate people of a smaller size. So while she was tiny she was going to enjoy every moment.

As she fumbled through the maze looking for wise cats and foggy caterpillars she heard a scream. Running through the maze with her red hair whipping behind her Selina came upon a very upset looking Violet. "What in Merlin's name are you yelling at, Vi?"

She knew the best thing was to not provoke Violet. Being a veela when her ugly side erupted it was plenty ugly. So she quickly tried to back track and appease her friend.

"I mean, Violet no need to scream. You're fine. This is part of the fun. We have to just make it to the end of the maze to get our height back. We'll be fine."

In the process of freaking out Violet heard a voice say a nice greeting to her. She turned her head to see a girl introduce herself as Kyle Manning or Kyle the miniature as she called it. Violet smiled and giggled a little calming down. She then replied lightly,"Hello Kyle Manning, my name's Violet Le Veela." Violet listened to her and then gasped getting a little excited,"Really?! Oh how wonderful! At the other end you say?"


Violet then heard Selina Skylar and turned to her hearing what she had said. She had felt a little angry at first, feeling a little fire spur within her, but then it quickly went away when Selina seemed to correct herself. She then said lightly,"Selina Skylar, you know how I don't like being short. It's bad enough I'm already 5 feet tall...Or at least I was!" Violet sighed a little upset.

"I know, I know. But, hey, think of it this way. You look beautiful both short and, well, shorter. It is very likely that you are the best looking person in this maze right now. And I am even adding in the flowers that are taller than you now." Selina was trying to shower her friend with compliments. The more she could give at once the happier Violet would be. A happier Violet was a happier existence. In all honesty parts of what she said were true. Violet was a very beautiful girl... just not when she was angry.

"So are we calm now?" Selina was trying to hint that the pair.. and whoever the third party was... should enter the maze. Better start now and get out sooner. Than again there was no guarentee that once they entered that maze it would be a straight shot. They were witches after all.

Violet paused as she listened to Selina's compliments. She then took a deep breath calming herself down. Violet then began to fan herself a little and then said,"You're right Sely! You're so right, I've got to keep myself calm and relaxed!" She already what would've happened if Violet had gotten anymore angrier or upset, so it was a good thing Selina knew what to say to calm her down. Violet then said,"I'm calm now..I'm perfectly fine.." She then smiled sweetly as if nothing had happened.

Kyle turned to Selina and gave her a smile, she said a quick "Well at least we are all five centimeters then eh? No oens shorter than the next...its a uniform world now." She chuckled, " Oh we are indeed calm, I'm Kyle by the way," she smiled. She turned to walk into the maze with Selina and Violet. "By the way I love your name Violet its my favorite flower- well one of them the others the Lily of the Valley!"

"Selina, Selina Skylar. Pleasure." The smaller redhead answered and shook the hand of Kyle.

"Are you sure?" When Violet finally seemed sane enough to press forward Selina laid out a plan of attack. "Okay, here is the plan. We need to move forward in this maze. We're short now, nothing we can do about it. All we can do is move on into that dark maze and hope that it holds some answers. If we don't we may be like this for a while. I don't know about you, but I am tired of being this height."

Selina gestured to the entrance, "Let's go."

Kyle smiled, shaking Selina's hand. "Pleasure Selina," Kyle nodded. "Alright let do this." Kyle spoke firmly, pulling her wand out of her pocket. Holding it at the ready in case anything jumped in front of them. She had a feeling the biggest villain would be the size of a Pigmy Puff.

Violet smiled at Kyle and then said sweetly,"Aww why thank you Kyle!" She then gasped agreeing with her,"The Lily of the Valley is such a beautiful flower! I myself do love Violets, but I believe my favorite flower would be the Sweet Pea flower along with the Cherry Blossom! Such lovely scents!"

Violet nodded again saying,"Yes Sely I'm alright now.." She then nodded again agreeing with Selina and then said,"Let's do this!" Violet smiled and then clapped eagerly before quickly following after Selina and Kyle. She also pulled out her wand and held it ready for anything.

"Oh cherry blossoms are beautiful - also they have a beautiful traditional name as well, Sakura is a beautiful name." She smiled, "And yes the sweet pea flower is amazing, smells wonderful."

Kyle smiled, "hopefully theres nothing too scary in there." Then her mind ventured to the one thing she'd hope she wouldn't see. Spiders. She feared them when they were tiny when she was tiny she'd scream like a baby.

Selina drew her wand close to her side. She knew that if they got in a tight pinch she would be using this in the only way that she was really good at defensively. Although in a place as dark as the maze she was somewhat glad she had the skill set of DADA. Not many did and she knew with confidence that she could produce a full patronus- not a skill usually developed until a fifth year.

"Okay, here's the plan. If you hear something bump in the night don't be noble. You run, we are too small to complain. You run like you've never run before and you just keep on running. Got it?" It was dangerous.

Isobel saw Sammy do something with her eyes, that may or may not be an eye roll. She just smiled faintly and didn't say anything. Isobel looked to both sides, and at that moment they walked across a gap and she saw someone she knew. "Nulu!" She exclaimed and fast walked toward her. he couldn't run in her dress. That was when she noticed that...they were back at the begining. "WHAT?!" She exclaimed, and it took her a moment before realizing she had said it out loud.

Isobel turned around and glared at the maze before looking back at Sammy and Satine. "We're back at the beginning," she said incredulously. "I don't think that's possible, since we took all lefts." It WASN'T possible. "I think it's magic," she said. Then she sighed in aggravation, but resignation. She turned around to face Nulu again. "Want to come with us?" She hoped the other girls didn't mind.

Finn smirked at her, before his features softened, and he smiled. "Well I'm glad you think that way." Of he knew she was kind of being playful, but he knew she must have kind of thought it. They were best friends afterall. "Oh....there are lots of things that I enjoy talking about." He paused for a second thinking of what he liked talking about. "I mean....theres girls, quidditch....girls...." Yes. That was a very important topic. He grinned at her, before laughing a bit.

"It doesn't hurt that much anymore." But just remind him not to get in the way of a bludger next time he played. He really didn't want to have to experiance that again....even if he had been outdone by Jimmy, but at lest they were both fine. He rolled his eyes at her. "We are..." Who he'd heard we're pretty good. "Should be an interesting match."

Getting out for a bit of fresh air, Evan found himself walking towards the maze, or, more acurately, being drawn to it. Everything was going amazing inside around the tables, and he wanted to see how it was going outside, in the maze and such. He could already see a few of people going inside, and that made himself feel even warmer. This was a success, and he was a part of it. SO proud!

With a small smile on his lips, he approached to the tray of bottles and picked one, observing it. He knew what it did of course, but he still wanted to observe... because he wanted to enjoy every part of this wonderful event.

Tea Party? Meh. Why was not it a Firewhisky Party? That would surely have been much more interesting and...helpful. Or not. Maybe. He was not sure of that. He was not sure of anything anyway. These days he was even unable to think which was quite unlikely of him. But now it was happening and he had nothing to do about it. Hmph. Well...on the other hand he did not need to think of anything anymore. Especially thinking of anyone. For some certain reasons of course.

Maybe it would have been easier for him, if Lafay or Marie had accepted his offer. Yes, he asked to come with him to the two most dangerous females of Hogwarts and he did it on purpose. They were probably the only two girls who had the potantial to make him forget what he wanted to forget. Like Evelyn's slap that he was unable to forget, he could still feel that slightly prickling pain on his cheek. But not because it hurt, but because it was her touch. And Josh was sure that Marie or Lafay could make him suffer much more which might help him forget this one.

''Ha!'' escaped his mouth when he walked in someone. Gah. He was so lost that he did not even where he was walking to. ''Sorry'' he said quickly before realising who that was. Then taking a step away from whoever he or she was, the Gryffindor forced a smile on his face as his eyes found the person. That smile. It vanished immediately when the boy saw who that was. Evan Cartwright in....a rather funny costume. But Josh was not in the mood even to laugh at him. So instead keeping his silence, he turned away and checked his own costume before walking away.
