The Baron floated over to the Slytherin table, and he looked down at the students. Savages, he thought to himself.
As Bloody Baron floated over to the Slytherin table, Damian waved her hand high in the air towards the ghost, her face expression more than just happy: "It's so nice to see you, Baron!" She, who was usually angry or sad, always felt happy to see the ghost for no apparent reason.

Alex raised one eyebrow at his cousin. Was she on the war path? "Bloody-what?" he asked confused. Noo, not blood. It was all red and unsanitary...
"Wait a minute, we have a house ghost?" he asked intrigued.

"haha no, i just came to see if i could meet some new people." she said with a small smile, stupid "so you enjoying your the feast" oh my god how lame. yet again metally slapping herself she turned to wait for an answer to her really stupid question.
Ah so she hadn't been looking for him, oh well. Alex chuckled and shrugged. "And here I am interfering with your original plans." if she wanted to meet some new friends, should he just leave? Eh, she had to order him away in that case. This was his table after all.
"I'm enjoying it yes." he nodded. He'd made some new friends, hung out with his old ones, there was food yes the Feast was alright. "Bit long though but I guess I shouldn't complain." he grinned. Because the day after the lessons would begin. Ugh. "How about you?" he asked her curiously.
Georgiana saw a Slytherin boy waving and smiling at her. She never thought she would end up in Slytherin, it was a surprise for sure, but didn't mind that. She smiled and waved back and said "Hi, I'm Georgiana what's your name?"
"Oh, yet another name. His head felt like exploding. There was no way the prefect could keep all these new names in his mind. It was just impossible. "I'm Evan," he said, dropping 'prefect' for the first time, because really, his badge was quite seeable.
"I'm sorry if I forget your name," he warned her. "Just that I've met TONS of people, and I know I'm bound to forget the names." He gave an apologetic smile. He didn't have any kind of special memory after all. Though he'd try to remember all... hopefully he would manage.

He won't do that again, the young girl thought.
When she saw Evan's face, Emmy didn't feel that confident anymore. It seemed like he was planning something and she knew that it couldn't be good. "Oh boy! Evan, I am so sorry! I shouldn't have said that! I hope you don't think bad of me now! I still have a lot of respect for you!" the girl said as fast as she could. When she found her breath again, she continuied, "I won't be in trouble, will I? I mean, I've heard of those things called house points. Can you tell me more about that?" the girl asked curiously and hoped to get away from the previous topic.
Evan watched with his mouth hanging open as the girl took what he said in a very wrong way. He blinked a few times to understand where he did wrong, but the girl just went on with her ranting. The blond didn't know about her pride, but she sure had a great deal of anger.
"Okay, I'm sorry!" he said defensively. Wow. Do not. Cross. Her way. "I think you got me wrong. I laughed at the idea of us making youngers do some stuff. No harm intended!" He eyed the girl. Yeah, she probably knew more jinxes than anyone else, too. Scary.
Then, she changed moods again. And she was fast, too! "No, you won't be in trouble, as long as you keep those jinxes to yourself," he said, trying to figure out her sudden change now. Maybe she remembered she was talking to a prefect? Hehe. He LOVED his badge!
"Erm, house points are given when you answer a question right, do a homework or do something to help..." he said, still looking slightly confused. "And when you hex someone for example," so you'd better NOT! "they're deducted and you land yourself in detention. See, they're earned by the whole house, so you should do your best not to lose any. And at the end of each term, the house with the most poins get the House Cup, which is a great honour." He gave a hesitant smile, and looked to ask Clear now?

Of course she'd seen her parents and older sister do advanced magic, but she really wanted to know if they'd be learning any of it here at Hogwarts. Maybe in sixth or seventh year, she guessed.
Evan seemed a little too enthusiastic about Muggle Studies class. Or maybe he just loved football? Hmm, that was a likely story, considering he was a guy. "Football...and cooking. Hmm," she commented, reluctant to say much else. She'd likely give the class a try, but she wasn't too sure how she'd feel about it until she actually got there. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks."
Oh... what kind of things did they work on? Evan paused. "Varying from class to class, you get to work on animals and people... and more complex ingredients in potions." He nodded. "But that's some years later for you." He gave a smile.
Making himself more comfortable on the chair, he nodded shortly at her. He hoped she'd come to class, because Muggle stuff was more fun with more people. After a minute's silence, he asked "Anything else you wondered?"

Evan was visibly relieved when Benjamin agreed to show it to Lafay. He even smiled. "No, she'll understand," he said reassuringly. That was good. At least, if it was something serious, they wouldn't have some kind of affected boy... he was sure it was serious, and he only hoped it wasn't 'bad' serious. Hopefully, his father only meant to protect him and nothing more.

Ah, finally! Finally they got to eat their meals. Evan listened to the headmaster's speech with full attention. 'Don't die'? Well, wasn't that quite obvious..? Huh. Shrugging, he was about to reach out for a plate of rice when he heard that... Gevrek? Guy stand up to talk.
N'aw, almost two years late of actual danger and problems, the ministry had suddenly decided to send a security officer? How thoughtful of them! He shook his head. Better to watch this guy, he thought, and not cross his way. Because that could result in serious consequences.
Time to eat his meal now? He finally reached for a plate of chickens and took at least eight wings on his plate. He was HUNGRY!

Wow, Bloody Baron, eh? Evan gave the ghost a deep bow. "Hello sir," he greeted with a respectful smile. "How are you doing today?" Did ghosts have any different days? He hoped so.

oh no she had been trying to brush off the idea of looking for him but he thought she wasn't happy talking to him, what an idiot. "no ofcourse not i like talking to you, your niice" she said with a smile please dont be blushing
"yeah it does drag on a bit doesn't it" she said with cheerful laugh "i like it though gives time to meet the new students and spend some time with old friends" if only she still had old friends, spending a year hiding from everyone and everything doesn't help though
"yeah im good eating talking fun times, getting kinda tired can't wait to get into the dormitory sit by the fire for a bit and then cuddle up im my nice warm bed" she always missed the common room during the summer. It was a nice place to spend time, curled up on the armchair by the fire with a book or maybe listening to some music.

Just then he noticed a young girl looking at little Sally and recognized her from the platform. "Hullo" he greeted her warmly. " I saw you at the platform earlier on the way to school. I'm Salander, what's your name?"
Little Sally? Lulu had no choice but to snort at that. The clumsy Slytherin boy from the platform had a penchant for stating the obvious. How fitting for Sally Malfoy. He was quite ickle for a second year, if you asked her. Then again, no one was asking her. Patterson cleared her throat.
"I saw you too," stated Lulu, sizing up the older boy, just in case he was getting any ideas. "You couldn't control your trolley. Was it cursed? I'm Lulu."
Then she grew silent and wrinkled a brow. Usually, silence was just fine with her but it suddenly felt awkward in this situation. So, Lulu did what she did best. She twisted her body to glare at Sally. "Don't think our rivalry is over, Malfoy! You're still a boy and you still have cooties!"
There. Nonsensical hostility rung best out of her mouth.

Lexie gaped as she walked through the doors to the Great Hall. She stopped in her tracks for a few seconds to take in the scene before her. Feeling a little out of place, she decided to make herself comfortable. Mentally picking one out of the four house tables, she walked towards it.
As she neared the table, the little hints of green adorning the students' belongings told Lexie that she was at the Slytherin house table. No one seemed to notice that she was there. She sat at the end of the bench and surveyed the students. Some were chattering and laughing away, others (who looked like first years) seemed nervous, and a handful were solemn-looking.

Lexie felt a chill go down her spine. She turned around and realized that a ghost was floating behind her, frowning. Could this be the famous Bloody Baron? With a strong feeling that her hunch was right, she smiled and said, "Good evening sir, but are you the Bloody Baron?"

"You don't know what the Head Girl is" she asked. "Basically I'm the Head of the students.. Head GIRL of the students. You know what a prefect is yeah? Well we're here to keep everyone in line, help out the Professors almost" she directed him to her badge. "And, I head the prefects, along with the Head Boy" she moved her head in the direction of the Ravenclaw table.
"Its good to meet you Nathan" well finally he had given her his name, took his time then. Blah Blah. More polite replies. "Err.. No. Just call me Trixie" she raised an eyebrow. Unless he wanted to. "Or HeadGirlMC..." she suggested, although that name was kinda special to her.
Wow, looks like he had the Head Girl totally confuzzled. SIGH. "Nope, I do not know what a Head Girl is.." And it looked like she would continue to explain anyway... yep! Head of the students? Hmm, that made sense. And she definitely looked like an older one so that did make it a little more understandable. "Oh. I see. Sorry for assuming you were just another 'Queen Bee'." La de daaaa. Easy mistake to make. The girl did look like one.
?! Suddenly, a question propped up into Nathan's head. "Does that mean you have the authority to give out detentions?" Not that he had any intention of misbehaving, but it was good to know who he could mess about in front of....
"Good to meet you too, -" But he didn't know what to call her. She had so many names. "I think I'll stick with Trixie." As it is her REAL name and it was a pretty name. Hehhh.

Luce asked curiously, giving him more of her attention. He did have a lot of time, she agreed with that.
Why did she leave? That was a question everyone wanted an answer to didn't they? "Cause I was finally given the 'okay' by my dad," came her response. This is where she wanted to be from the day she had turned 11. But noooooo she had to go to Beaxbatons for 3 years until her dad's mind was changed. "Obviously," she added in a sarcastic tone. Ooops. She wasn't taking that comment back. He must have forgot she knew Elliot and the two were friends soo yahh. She just giggled and shook her head. Handle him? "Really?" she asked seriously. Lucie highly doubted he was too crazy. He loved to study? Wouldn't teachers love those kids?
Well, Nathan expected nothing less than for her to be shocked. He merely chuckled. "Why is that so shocking? I think the magical world is interesting." Coming from his muggle background, it WAS out of the norm, obviously. Favourite subject? Hmm, easy. "History of Magic." He said simply. Although he totally understood that it could be quite a boring subject to most others. Meh. "I also like DADA, and Charms." The list went on. "What're your faves?"
The 'ok' from her dad? Psh, if that was Nathan's situation then he would have told his dad straight up. "So you didn't like Le batons?" Here came the French accent again. Obviously? He raised his eyebrows, then he had it sussed. She must've known he was from Durmstrang, due to his tough exterior. Yup, he was smug. Ahem. "Well, not totally. My parents thought that the place had toughened me up too much." Which was true. He used to be a loser, and now he bossed his parents around at any given opportunity.

Tyrone couldn't help it, he had to laugh. There was just something about an accident prone person asking about one of the most accident-inducing sports known to wizard kind. It was nothing but hilarity. His arms moved to clutch his stomach in a futile attempt to stop the pain in his sides. He leand forward to try and accomodate the lack of air in his lungs as he slowly came off his laughing high.
"I'm sorry" He panted, once he had his breathing under control. "An accident prone girl, talks about an accident inducing, broom riding sport to someone that has never been near a broom, let alone having ridden one. I find the situation highly amusing."
Slowly, as he regained a normal breathing pattern, Tyrone looked towards Jamie. "You told me something that made me laugh, want me to try and do the same for you? Only, if I do tell you, you have to promise to keep it a secret" he whispered, looking around to make sure no one else was listening to them.
Jamie looked down at the plate and blushed a slight pink. "It's okay. I know it's funny to think about a complete unbalanced person on a broom. Honestly though I'm better off in the air than on my two own feet."
She looked at him and said,"Oh really a secret? I won't tell anyone cross my heart and home to injure myself." She never hope to die. That was just stupidity in the making. "Just to let you know I'm a hard person to get to laugh."

she smiled a bit at "ha few yh" she liked most slytherins she met although a few were a\ bit harsh to her in her first year but not anymore.

She sat down and started talking with the Slytherin prefect. For her it was weird, "a first year talking with a prefect?" of course she felt inferior compared to him but he seemed like a good boy. "I hope someday I can have that badge too" she thought.

"I think my point was made, Mr. Upstead, regardless of semantics. But you're being unaccountably rude, and now it is time to return to your seat. I'm sure you are free to visit me after the feast if required."
"Excellent advice, Mister Gevrik," Tate gave the man an oddly formal bow before he rose lazily from his own seat. He swept out his hands for silence, enjoying the way students stopped chattering at his gesture.
You see that, Lafay? If he was just a figurehead, they wouldn't acknowledge him. These students weren't idiot pawns to be played in someone else's game.
"If I can have your attention, students... if you can bear with me for a few moments of business chatter, there is a bountiful feast as reward on the other side. I welcome you back to Hogwarts once again. To returning students, you will see new faces at the staff table. Please make every effort to welcome staff members and students to our home. To new students... the rules at Hogwarts are simple and we will make every effort to make them clear. First and foremost, make good choices and do not die."
Always always... do not die.
"In addition to our new staff, we also welcome Mr. Ikenna Gevrik to Hogwarts. He will be serving as... a special security consultant and is very interested in making the school as safe as possible. It is my desire that you make him welcome and listen to everything he has to say. It is, of course, your own responsibility to way those things you hear against your own conscience and make decisions that are right for yourself."

"Thank you for that welcome, Headmaster Tate. I am, as he said, Mr. Ikenna Gevrik, Special Security Liaison to the School." He extended a warm smile toward the assembled students and bowed in their direction as well, though at the same time he swept his arms out, he also cast a nonverbal sticking charm at Vindictus' hands in mid-clap.
With the clapping stopped and a dead silence in the Hall, Ikenna straightened back up with a genuinely friendly expression.
"Those of you who can recall events of the past, from a flooding school to an underground fight club, will find it easy to see why the Ministry of Magic has concerns about security around its most precious asset: the bodies and minds of our future leaders. Those of you who may be younger will at the least realize that a heightened sense of safety and security around the castle will not only allow everyone to sleep better at night, but it will also pre-empt any future warnings from your professors, such as orders to 'do not die.'"
Gevrik's beetle-like eyes glittered for a moment with amusement as he cracked a smile, and then he continued onward in a most amicable tone.
"Perhaps some of your good, safe choices this year will lead to good rewards, not only for you, your professors or your house-mates, but perhaps also for the betterment of all mankind. The times are changing swiftly and as the Headmaster said, I can only ask that you lend me your ears and remain open-minded this school year, for you will all find that I am not your typical dose of Ministry intervention."
No, Ikenna Gevrik could be something much more sinister...but he did not drop the smile from his face or the friendliness in his tone...yet.
"Again, I appreciate Hogwarts opening its doors to me and I can only hope that you will all also open your minds and hearts, for I hold the safety and security of us all very dear in mine."
He bowed his head once more to signify the end of his speech and then smoothly slid back down into his seat.
Zoey looked up at the front as two men gave their speeches. The first was the headmaster. The second.... was scary looking honestly. And he was from the... ministry. She gave a slight cough as he mentioned that he was from the ministry and turned her head away.
Again with the Quidditch thing *siiigh* Wait. He was here to protect them?! And the school had flooded? Underground fightclub?! Wow, and all the excitement she'd gained died. Yup. Alaska was lookin' better and better.

Don't die... have fun... Welcome back. Tate's speech was short, but it was full of all the usual stuff. There wasn't really anything new.
Iris just wanted that feast that was on the other side of the speech.
As Tate brought the student's attention to one teacher in particular, Iris rose her eyebrow, and looked to Aaron with a somewhat worried look on her face. "Why do we need special security? ... Why now? Nothing really bad has happened... in, what, two years."
Watching Professor Vindictus as he started to clap... loudly, Iris smiled slightly.
...
Then she noticed something unusual. He wasn't sat on the right side of Tate. That scary looking Ministry man was.
Did that mean... ?
No. Tate wouldn't have let that man become Deputy Headmaster.
... Or did he? Iris really hoped he wasn't and that there were just some... seating rearrangements. If not, then the school was screwed.
...
He just... stuck the Quidditch Professor's hands together. Iris stared up at the Staff Table. That was SUCH an immature way of handling that round of applause.... And Tate was expecting them to look up to this guy for security guidence? Pffft.... Yeah, not gonna happen.
This guy was talking, too? The food was going cold!
Iris listened to him, ignoring the loud noises her tummy was beginning to make. The things he was talking about happened 4, 5, 6 years ago. WHY does it matter for them to have this special security now. Iris's eyes flickered towards Professor Truebridge at the table...
Was it something to do with him coming back? ... He'd been in Azkaban for a little while, after all.
Remain open-minded? Iris looked to Fallon, Trixie and Aaron. "This guy... d'you think Tate knows about something bad that's going to happen? ... Or do you just think the Ministry are being nosey, intruding arses? It's not like they've not done this before." She indicated to the man, who was stood talking. That's what worried her. That the Ministry had done this to Hogwarts before. It didn't accomplish anything then... so why do they think their "safety" precautions given by this bloke will be any different?
She watched as the man sat down.
His name was one that Iris wasn't even going to attempt to pronounce.
The prefect frowned, and thought over the things that this Ministry bloke had said. She didn't trust that smile of his.
"Can we eat, now?"
Zoey turned and nodded, taking a deep breath. "Mhmm, yeah, I'm done." She said, smiling. Heh. You had to admit, getting yourself locked in a bathroom was hilarious.
Heh. At least it wasn't her fault.

How exactly was the food going to come out? Hehe. It would be quite the spectacle if it dropped from the ceiling with parachutes.
Emmy couldn't believe that she had already found so many great new people. Fee seemed to be incredibly nice and Emmy loved nice people. Wait, she shouldn't like nice people when she was a Slytherin, right? But Fee was also a Slytherin so that would be okay, wouldn't it? Oh dear, there was so much the young girl had to think about.
Fee smiled widely when Emmy complimented her. Seems like it was a good thing to do. Emmy smiled. Then the girl complimented Emmy, too and she felt unbelievably proud. "Oh that's so nice of you! Nobody ever told me that my hair looks nice. Everyone at home just told me that I look like a nobody. It was kinda sad for me there. I hope I'll have a better time here!" The young girl said and hoped that Fee would understand how much a little compliment meant to her.
Suddenly a confused look appeared on Emmy's face. What was going on in the little girls head?!"If you have any questions,i will be there",she smiled,"just that you know."It was so much easier to get used to Hogwarts when you had someone to help you.Made you find out everything easier. And little firsties were adorable, especially Emmy and Alicia.Fee would do anything to make them feel like home.
Seemed like Emmy was really happy about Fee complimenting her.How cute was that? The Slytherin really liked that little firstie.Hehe."They told you,you looked like a nobody?",the girl said shocked,"dont let anyone tell you that. You are not a nobody."Actually Emmy was really beautiful, the girl just needed to see it.

Fee's eyes grew wide. What was Rex talking about? He had left her alone in the train. He didnt even tell her he was going to get married and now?!"Rex you are my best friend",she said her voice cracking,"why do you always think you arent?"What had she done? Was there someting she didnt know."You know how much i love you",the blonde sighed trying to hold back the tears,"i cant lose you.We are best friends. You will be my best friend forever."Was it boecause of Alex?Did Rex think she had replaced him? Oh my god please not.

He laughed with her shaking his head at the same time. No overreaction at all, sure they had knocked down a few people on their little race but still the firstie could have had the cake and better safe than sorry. Even though their race wasn't particular safe and there were a few people who got sorry... It wasn't their fault that they had been mistaken! "The kid could have had it, it's not our fault that he didn't. He should have just said so." He wondered if they would have stopped if the firstie had called out that he didn't have their cake... Probably not because if he did have it then he would have said that he didn't so... Ah, confusing thoughts. To sum it up; Fee and Alex was right and the little kiddo was wrong. End of story.
Gaaah! His best friend glared at him, he pouted his lips slightly pointing at her hair. "But... But it's my trademark." he said. *wibble, wibble* He couldn't stop ruffling girl's hair. It was just too funny, he wondered briefly if he was addicted because his hands always twitched to ruffle their hair. Heh, watch out for the Ruffler ladies! Oh cool name...
She laughed, oh thank Merlin for that. Guess he was just too irresistable, pff. And offering her a cake as forgiveness was kind of a smart move, mental note to remember that next time he ruffled her hair because ooooh yes there would be a next time. "Yes pudding at midnight you have got yourself a deal missy." he grinned widely. Oh yes! Pudding, oh yummie yummie yum.
Alex smiled widely placed his arm around her shoulders. "Oh I'm so very happy you're my best friend, my lady." he chuckled. They could mess around a little. Alright a lot... A lot, a lot, lotsa, lotsa but she was also the one who understood him. You know, if he had been a deep kind of guy which he absolutely wasn't because well... Alright confession time; he was and Fee was the only one who understood his wicked ways. Best friend syndrome probably.
Chuckling the blonde shook her head, they could be sooo confident sometimes.Especially when they had their high moments together, haha."I know",she laughed,"even orange would look good on us."That colour was just uncool.
Rethinking their race on heels and with sweets in the hands, Fee couldnt do anything but start to laugh like crazy. They were soo silly and probably freaks but who wanted to be normal anyway. There was noooooo cool thing about being normal. Not at all."Riight,we are the betrayed ones",she nodded,"he couldnt have just told us."There was no way they would have stopped trying to catch him but still. He had had a chance.Hah, they were just too good for the world.
Fee giggled when her best friend pouted his lips.Nawwww that just looked so cute. And Alex knew it, he was soo using it against her but what could she do? Next time there would be the puppy eyes revenge when he least expected it.Haah god plan.Really good plan."You know you are crazy",she nodded,"my hair is sacred."Oh yes if anyone except Alex would ever touch it,that person would be so dead.Ohhh sooo pudding at midinight?!Hehe, it was Alex first day and fee already got him to do something forbidden.Ohh baaad girl."Thats going to be soo fun",the blonde said excitedly,"chocolate, strawberry or vanilla`?!or perhaps they could have everything.Yumm.
When her best friend placed his arms around her shoulders Fee smiled. They really completed eachother even though no one else understood them they did.And that was one of the things the Slythie loved so much about her Alex."And i am soooo muuucho muchhoooo happy that you are my best friend, mister."Maybe he was a huge flirt and maybe he was the total ladies man but when thex were alone he was just Alex Reed from NY."Imagine you would have never transfered",she said in thoughts. That would be horrible.Only the imagination let her shiver.

Eating too much sugar? Was that a boy speaking?Haha.Maybe she shouldnt tell elliot that she would have a competition including 200 chocolate frogs."Whats your fave thing to eat by the way?",talking about food Fee noticed she didnt know that.Ohhh boys and their smirks, sooo typical. But somehow the blonde was a sucker for that."Of course",the Slytherin nodded,"we are going to beat everyone.Especially with me in the Quidditch team this term."Okay maybe she was a little too confident right now but so what?!

"Am I one of them?" Alex chuckled and winked at her. He was such a nice Slytherin... Erm, yeah.
That description sounded very, well cosy really. "Sounds good and yeah I do know you birdies have a thing for books." he laughed. So what, did that mean he had a thing for... Dungeons? Eh, no. "Yeah, I haven't been there yet, I'll let you know when I do." he grinned.

Alex laughed nodding. "Even orange." he agreed, even though he didn't like orange it was just so... Orange.
"The Betrayed Ones." he laughed, really though how could he not when Fee laughed. Catching laugh as always. Who cared that some students glared at them, the besties were having fun it was just too bad that no one else was. Pff. "Stupid kid." he finally chuckled with a shake of his head. Really, what had the kid been thinking? Stealing from Alliealex and Feeflower? Stupid choice, very very stupid. Who cared that he hadn't actually stolen the cake? He could have and that was what mattered. Man, they were good!
He grinned satisfied, she thought he was crazy and he took that as a compliment. Who wanted to be normal? No one. "I know it's sacred that's why I touched it. I just couldn't help it." Now that was true, he couldn't help but touch her hair. It was just so blond, soft and fluffy it practically screamed at him to ruffle it. Well, it would if hair could scream that was... Oh wait she made him choose between those flavours? Decisions, decisions... "Do I have to choose?" Couldn't they just take it all with them? Oh imagine pudding at midnight, tasty oh so very tasty.
Ugh, wonder what would have happened if he hadn't decided to transfer. Then he wouldn't have met his best friend, and he wouldn't have gotten lost and ended up at Katie's house, he would never have met Fee. Ugh, horrible, horrible thought. "I don't want to think about that actually." he murmured hugging her tighter with his one arm still around her shoulders. He really didn't, he had no idea how he could have survived without his own Feeflower before.

Alex looked over at Rex with raised eyebrows. What on earth was that guy up to? Wasn't he overreacting just a tiny bit? Just because Fee was friends with him didn't make her any less friend with Rex. It was all very weird, and overreaction? Perhaps he should leave the two alone, let them work it out a bit. Alex had a lot of friends but Fee was definitely his best without doubt. If she needed time from him to work out things with that Lion than he would give it to her. Even though he hated the thought. Some people freaked out so easily... Pff.

she smiled at his comment "sure you are" she said with a smile giving hima light nudge.
birdies ha that made her smile a bit we really do like our book though she thought remembering the libary at home full of both muggle and magical books. "yeah let me know, wanna know if its really as dark and gloomy as i picture it." laughed slightly " no actually its probebly really nice, like decorated all green and sliver on the old stone walls."
Caroline was thrilled to be back at Hogwarts. She watched as the first years were sorted. She remember her first year being sorted. gosh she thought that was Five years ago She yawned, she was very bored. She looked around for something to do or someone to talk to while the sorting continued.

"Step brother." he said with a threating smile. He hated him, his father had just married Matt's mother for the name, the glory and everything that their family stood for. "He is also in Hogwarts thankfully he refused to change his last name." He ran his fingers through his hair. "I believe he is in Gryffindor, like yourself." he told her pointing to her robes and their embled on them. He sighed. "So Miss Elyon you are indeed a brave one to walk over here," he winked at her. "We Slytherins have a nasty temper towards other houses." He cracked his knuckles. "I shall protect you from whatever they through your way. Think of me as your knight in shinning armor." He told her with one more wink. He knew that most of his fellow classmates respected him, but maybe not all of them. He had a nasty run in with one of the girls she had been on and on about her family, but he brushed her off like if she were a bug. "By the looks of it I would say you are most defenitely not a fourth year am I correct?" he asked her
Elyon saw his scary smile and fought off the urge to scoot away. Her parents weren't divorced, but she had plenty of family problems. She knew what it was like to feel.... horrible about family. She smiled when he started acting like himself again. "What's his name? Maybe I'll see him in the common room!" Elyon smiled brightly, thinking of another person like Matt in her common room.
She blushed and smiled when he called her brave. Maybe this was why she hadn't been sorted into Ravenclaw! She wasbrave at heart! "Really?! I guess I am, Gryffindors are pretty brave I guess." She winced as he cracked his knuckles. "Do they really? I've heard they also don't like muggleborns, I hope that's just a stereotype...." She glanced nervously around the table. "And no, I'm definately not, are you? I'm a first year, but you probably figured that out already." She smiled at him and took another sip of pumpkin juice.

Elnesiel noticed that a few of the people at the Slytherin table were actually from other houses. She stared at them for a while in surprise but then looked away, hoping they had not noticed her staring.

Alex, Nai perked up and smiled giving Alex a wave from her seat waaaay down on the other side. He really did have friends which made her smirk. She wanted to head over to the Huffie table before the feast ended but she figured she might as well make some friends on her side of the street first then she'd move on the the Ravvie table where her newest test subjectfriend the Head Boy was sitting.
Carpe Diem: Make today extraordinary! WOOT WOOT! GRYFFINDOR!!
Sophia, the Gryffindor, felt so out of place at this table, but she had to see her friend, Erin. She walked up and down near the Slytherin table at least 3 times looking for her, but at last she saw that blonde hair. She ran over and said "Hey Stranger!" She laughed and waited for Erin to respond.

Erin smiled widely at her friend, Sophia. She had been worried that they wouldn't be able to talk at meal times or classes because of their house rivalry, but was glad that her friend was able to put that aside. "And, who are you?" She said, playing along. "I don't talk to blondes, kid. They're too stupid for my taste."

Sophia rolled her eyes. "I am your little sister, duh." she said, sarcastically. She was glad that none of the Slytherins have given her the evil eye yet, because she wouldn't have left if they had. She sat down next to her friend, and raised one eye brow. A trick that Edmond had taught her. "Excuse me!" she said, pretending like she was mad. "You are a blonde too, girly!" she said, pointing to Erin's hair.

she walked over to the slytherin table, she gulped hoping not to see any bullies, she was actually scared now, she needed Luke or Katie, they were a trio, Cora took a seat looking around for them, there were not to be found, she hoped no one would tell her to go back to the ravenclaw table, she wanted to stay here.

Luke spotted a blue robe amoung the sea of green. He smiled, knowing exactly who it was. Standing from his seat he made his way to sit with Cora. "Hey. See you made Ravenclaw" He said smiling as he sat.
