I am so happy with you here eating cherry pie and drinking butterbeer" Rex smiled at Jacqueline. " Off to the common room" Rex called out to Jacqueline.

" Yes ,it is cool" Rex told Nika. " I qould love you to attend the wedding" Rex said to Nika.

Sophia laughed. "Yeah you will!" she said, smiling. "Too bad there is no way that we can aquire a computer." she said, mysteriously. "I bet you could learn how to use one very quickly, because they are quite simple." she said, nodding her head. Well, they had been simple to her, but to wizards it could just be totally confusing.

She smiled, but the more she was talking about Carnival, the more she was going to miss it. "Well, next year Carnival is going to be in the summer, and I was planning on inviting a bunch of people to my villa in Venice, so we could all go together." she said, winking back. "Maybe if you are intrested?" she said, shruggin her shoulders. "It is fun." she said, excitedly

She nodded her head. "Yeah, we get a lot of excersise." she said, laughing quietly. "We just go by the months." she explained. "Like December is our winter." she said. "And, it does get a little colder. Like down to 65 sometimes." she said, laughing. It got down to like -10 in England. *shiver* "Unfortunatly, I do know." she said, winking back.

"I don't know, maybe History Of Magic. I mean I've always enjoyed learning about History and this will be like learning history from a totally different perspective won't it," Beth said.

Simple? Simple?! How could something so complicated be called simple? Alex chuckled and gave her a skeptical look. "Whatever you say." he grinned. If he wanted to play the compluters then he would. Yup. Someday. Perhaps. Doubt it actually.

"Sure I am, that would be great." he smiled widely. Yay, something to do next summer apart from waisting all his money in Florean's "Promise to show me your mask before the carnival so I don't get lost?" he laughed. Seriously though, he didn't like getting lost.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Down to 65 wow." he snorted and laughed. "That's nothing you know, what about snowball fitghs and ice skating?" he laughed. And what about burying a cute firstie's face in the snow? Heh.

"n-nice meeting you too, Rafe." heather said with a sweet smile on her face a she and Rafe shook hands.

then she had a thought: Gryffindors end up dating slytherins? interesting...well, her best friend is in slytherin, but her worst nightmare just ended up in gryffindor. Heather wondered whether Cass (currently in slytherin) and edward (now in gryffindor) would one day get along? they can't date-they're related!

she shrugged her thoughts off and concentrated on Rafe's question. "yeah." she nodded her head like an excited 5 year old about to get ice cream. "i-i really hope to do good this year. i promised my dad i'd have better grades this year..." she smiled a little nervously, thinking that Rafe might think she failed a subject. "...n-not that i failed anything last year. i just want to be more than average, that is." she said.

"you're great at that job, Rex, i promise. thanks again for cheering me up. oh by the way..." heather searched her pocket for something and took out a container. she opened it and in it were a couple of some fudge brownies. "i remember that you liked my grandma's brownies during Cass's party, so i brought some with me today...my grandmother sent me this batch just this morning. would you like to be the first to have one?"

"Yeah..." Emily mumbled, then drained the last few drops of her drink.
"Well, I think I'm gonna go up to our common room now, I'm shattered..." she hadn't noticed, but a lot of people had left the table by now
"We're on the seventh floor! Well, at least I'll work off that cake. See you in our dorms probably." Emily said smiling at Beth. Then left the hall.
She would see Beth soon, but right now Emily wanted to explore on her own for a bit.

Rafe smiled as the girl talked with a little bit of a stammer. "Oh I don't really care about grades at all," Rafe said with a smirk on his face. "I just want to play Quidditch for the rest of my days...forget school! When in life will I have to fight a dragon or know all the functions of gillyweed?! Um...never!" Rafe gave her a sideways glance. She seemed a little nervous and he didn't know why. Though he was sure if she knew she was talking to a half-werewolf, then that would definitely give her a reason to be nervous. However, Rafe wasn't about to reveal that to her. "Well, I don't think grades are what make the person, it's who they are on the inside and how they embrace life that really makes the person."

Heather couldn't agree more. Rafe did have a point. She did plan to also take loads of pictures of the castle like she also did last year since she loves photography, like her father; not like she'd have any use for functions of gillyweed in the sort of thing.

"are you part of the quidditch team, Rafe?" she asked, gladly without a stutter in her sentence. Heather felt glad not because she didn't stutter, but because she was getting to know Rafe, and he seemed nice enough to be a really good and great friend.

afterall, Heather herself knows, that she's not much nervous nor too stutter-y around people she thought were nice friends and the people she knows and loves.

Sophia grinned at the skeptical look she was reciving about the 'simple' comment. "Totally!" she said, chuckling. "So, how was it like growing up as a wizard?" she asked. "Did you have a toy broomstick and stuff like that?" she asked. Sometimes she wished that her parents had raised her as a wizard.

"Good." she said, smiling. "It'll be a blast." she said, winking playfully. "I promise." she said, laughing. "I haven't decieded if I want to have everyone go shopping for masks or just buy a bunch and let people choose theirs yet." she said, contemplating the choice. "Well Venice is a confusing town." she said. "You see, there aren't many, well, roads." she explained. "We have a bunch of little rivers that act as our roads." she said, nodding. She loved Venice

Sophia laughed. "I know right. Down to 65. It's torture." she said, sarcastically. "Well, I like snow for about a month, and then it just gets too cold for me." she said, smiling. "But I do love snowball fights." she said. Espically when she played against her younger brother. It was fun to get revenge... "But, what is it like living England year round?" she asked.

"Not yet..." Rafe frowned. He'd been on the team for three years and there wasn't Quidditch last term, so it would be interesting to see the new competition. "I've played Keeper for three years, but being away from Quidditch for a year really changes things." He hoped he'd be able to get his old position, but there were more and more first years every year and that meant fiercer competitors. "What about yourself? Are you interested in joining the team?"

Join the team? it sounds interesting...but.... "well...not to brag or anything, i'm not a bad flier myself, but...i'd rather be in the stands, taking photographs...and..i'm not really allowed." she sighed. "my mom, you see...if she learned i joined the team or anything, she'd have me pulled out of hogwarts before i even get to play. she's a little overprotective of me...i wouldn't wonder why though. the same goes for my dad...but my dad would allow me under one condition that i strap a ton of safety devices on me before i get to play."

"Photographs?" Interesting, Rafe thought. "Well, maybe one day you can take pictures of me win I become a huge Quidditch star." Rafe laughed. It could happen, or at least Rafe hoped it could happen. Rafe was then really surprised that her mum wouldn't let her play. How could a mum not let her child play the greatest sport on earth!? "Well, they don't have to know if you played right? Just right them letters keeping them up to date on everything but you playing Quidditch!" Rafe wasn't probably setting a good example. Lying to parents never really ended well. That's how he got kicked out of his mum's house, for lying about secretly visiting his father in Romania.

"i suppose i could do that. i should be keeping an eye out for when that happens."" Heather giggled, looking more like a ten year old now. Rafe did look like he had the makings of a quidditch star.

"oh...that sounds tempting...but i'm really sorry. i can't lie to my parents. It seems unfair that i won't be able to join the team, but no one said i can't play the game...i just have to be very careful though...i can understand my mother and my father's sentiments...if only that accident didn't happen to me last summer i-" there goes heather again, blabbing things she shouldn't blab when she gets too familiar with someone else she thinks is very nice. It's not like Rafe's a bad person...it's just that heather's too friendly (and shy). "i-i'm sorry..i shouldn't-i...i was supposed to be keeping that a secret. none of my friends know even my best friend..until now...i ran into an accident last summer."

"Accident?" Rafe asked with a raised eyebrow. He hoped he wasn't inquiring after anything too personal. Rafe never liked talking about his personal life that much, but he always was a good liar and could get around some facts. "Listen, everyone has their secrets and I respect that. If you need someone to confide in, then I'm your guy! I'm great at keeping secrets, but if it's something you're not ready to share I'm not going to beat it out of you or anything," he laughed. "If anything you can always go to the practices with Vindictus. He's a pretty good teacher and that way you can still fly, but it would be considered a lesson, not putting yourself in danger."

"well...i suppose i could share it with you..." Heather smiled again. she rolled up her robes sleeves and her long sleeves underneath to reveal a bandaged right arm. "it's not much, and i think i'm getting better but my dad said injuries like these take time to fully heal. I'm in no hurry at all, but sometimes it does hurt if i stress my right arm too much. I could still fly, but only until my arm doesn't hurt." She said. "it happened while i was playing quidditch with some of my dad's friend's kids. i was a chaser...and well, i bludger hit me in my right arma nd i lost balance and fell off my brrom and coincidentally, the arm that got hit was also the same arm that got...well...when i fell off...i just had to squish my own arm." she bllushed in embarrssment. "i just didn't want to tell my friends because i wouldn't want them to worry too much about me. it's not annoying but it's sort of making me feel guilty for bothering them too much...and i don't want them to treat me like a baby, just because i'm injured... that's why i've been wearing long sleeves to hide my injury." right. that's the nice heather everyone knows. hah. it applies to all her friends except her best friend, cass. If cass found out, heather would get a scolding first before some sympathy, but those are just the few things heather loves about her best friend.

"wow! I would be delighted to attend the wedding!" said Nika as she grabbed a slice of pie,"The food here is really good! Is it like this all term?"

"Why don't you go to the nurse? She could get you some skelegrow and it would be completely healed in just a matter of hours!" Rafe had used skelegrow quite a lot over the years. He'd probably used it so much, that he couldn't even feel the pain anymore. "That's definitely not something you should have to hide, you should take pride in your Quidditch injuries!" Rafe certainly did. It was a great way to gain sympathy with the ladies and get some much deserved attention. Rafe was confident is showing off his Quidditch injuries, but he was embarassed by his scars or his face and on his body. "I don't think they would treat your like a baby, not if you make it sound like a heroic take, like you zoomed in front of the bludger to protect your seeker as he grabbed the snitch just in the nick of time. That sounds rather brave don't you think?"

"yes, it does." Heather said. "it's pretty heroic." She added and gave thought to Rafe's suggestion about the skelegrow. "i suppose i could go to the nurse and ask for some skelegrow...but isn't it painful?...i mean...well...it's actually going to be my first time to drink some...this is actually my first real physical injury regarding bones."

Jacqueline was very surprised,and smiled widely at her. ''Ohh that's great! You are half-blood too!!''she winked. Great,another half-blood friend. ''Oh too bad you don't have any brothers or sisters! You are such a lovely person, I bet you would be a great sister! I miss my sisters! But sometimes I wish I am alone,you know,usual stuff. Sister fights! Hah! But when I think more about it, I just know that my life wouldn't be as good as it is if there were no my beautiful sisters!'' she said sarcasticly,giggling all the time. She hates when they tease her,but again she misses them. A lot. Spending time with them. Especially shopping with them! Ohh boy!! ''Oh I just love being half-blood,why would I find it difficult? I think it is amazing to be half-blood,having the best of both worlds. Do you find it hard?''she asked,taking a sip of her butterbear.

She was laughing while looking at Witsy's face.''Oh.....god......you are so funnyy! And, I won't try it, I trust ya! No risk!!''she said still lauging. Well there is still quite a lot of pies.'' And yes,that is bad,how can you not share the slice of the pie,with me? With the Pie Girl? HELLO!''she giggled. I mean,there is no way she can eat that without her. No,NO!!!!!!!



"Yeah now that I think about it, it was a good summer." Witsy took a deep breath and put her fork down. "I can't tell if I'm full or tired," she laughed "I'm having such a great day. Do you know what my parents did right before I left? My mom made me a cake and my dad conjured thousands of butterflies to fly around the house their wings glowing to the color they were, it was beautiful. Today was a perfect way to start the day. Did you do anything before you left home... besides getting ready for the term?"

"I don't mind being the only child, yeah, sometimes I wish I could have a younger sister, but it is what it is. By the sounds of it you must love your family; where do you like to shop?." Witsy smiled... how wonderful that must be, she thought. "It's not difficult but I feel like my mom's finding to be, you know. She can't really be apart of it. I try to make her feel special though, like there's always a place for her and by doing that I think she remembers why we love her so much.

Witsy laughed at her sarcasm she was tooooo funny, "Indeed there are a lot of pies...and I think I'm my stomach hates me right now." Holding her right hand to her tummy. "I think I'm done eating," holding up her hand as if implying hold on a minute, "I think I may try just one more BUT maybe." These pies were too good to let waste, she thought.





Witsy could see by the way they were they must be close. "I'm Wisteria Hartly, Witsy people call me. I don't think you know me but I've seen you around last term. It's nice to officially meet you, especially when I've had the honor of hearing a bit about you." She smiled thinking of what Jaqueline said about him modeling.

"I see you're off to the common room, well good night, I'm sure to see you around."

"Well..." Rafe didn't want to scare her off of the idea. "It does hurt a little, but it won't hurt as bad as when you broke it in the first place." That was true, it was definitely less painful when the bones grew back. "Plus, with the skelegrow, it's a brief moment of pain, but it saves you a lot more time with the healing process. Plus, the nurse is super nice, she'll fix you right up before you know it!"

Rafe's suggestion does sound great. "hmmm...i'll consider that, thanks." she said with a smile. She'll really consider that suggestion, if it meant getting healed quickly. IF SHE REMEMBERS TO EVEN GO TO THE NURSE. HAH. "i remember the nurse. i was sent to the hospital wing last year for fainting during the first defense against the dark arts lesson. i ran into a wall during the activity and when i woke up, she told me to drink this odd medicine and that my bump in my head would disappear in a day or two." not exactly a good memory for heather, but she did find it rahter funny even though it was her embarrassing moment.

''Ohh that is so wonderful! Thousands of butterflies flying around? I can imagine that,and the colors,and the sparkle.....Oh it must have been amazing! ''she said ,thinking the hole time about it. It was like in a farytale......oh she wants to see it so badly.Butterfiess!!!!!!!!

''Hah you want a little sister? Ohh I would like to have a lil sis. But in my case, I am the youngest. Sometimes it's like a nightmare,but sometimes I enjoy,like I said, SHOPPING! Oh and, I like to shop for clothes! Anywhere! Doesn't really metter where, I can always pull something out. And both of my sisters are so into fashion, and they like to dress me,like I am their little doll! And I love being a doll! But not always!''she winked. Ahh she wants to go shopping now! ''We can share some clothes! And jewelry too!'' she smiled. She likes sharing things,it's fun!!!!!!!

''I agree, I am so full,and I know I'll get sick! I think we should go before I throw up on the table!!''she said, laughing. Well there was nothing funny,but she has started to feel a little bad. ''Ohh no more pies! Bye my lovely ones!!Let's go to the common room shall we?'' she asked her,looking so tired. There was Rex going to the common room with them.

Oh she was a total baby,fell asleep as she ate all the pies. Really.

" Cheering you up was easy and fun" Rex told Heather." I am honored to be the first one to have yoru grand mothers delicious brownies" Rex explained to Heather. Rex ate his brownie. "Delicious" Rex smiled." You are a great friend" Rex said to Heather. "Will you come to my wedding?" Rex asked Heather.

" Great, glad you will attend the wedding" Rex told Nika. "Every term, the food gets better" Rex said to Nika."Any more stories from you?" rex asked Nika.

Rex carried his "sister' to the Gryffindor common room."What am I going to do with you?" Rex asked her laughing.

"Hmmm...." Nika thought for a moment, any more stories? "I don't think I have any more interesting stories to tell at the moment, what about you?"
