"And I am trying out. I already talked to the Captian. He said it was okay."

when she began to talk about Slytherin she tensed up, "My best friends is in Slytherin and so is my boyfriend. I've never had a problem with them. You should go and talk to them. They aren't that bad."

moving away from the awkward turn of conversation she said, "Professor Truebridge."

"I'm counting at it." Alex chuckled. Would be good to have another friend to show him around a bit. He laughed and shook his head. "Ah no way Pie Girl, I won't let you scare me to death. I don't even know the meaning of the word scared." he laughed. Yeah right like Jacqueline could scare him, pff. She was a friendly lioness.

He started laughing when she mentioned... Well practically every pie that was served on the table. "Noo that's so unfair you can't make me choose one and then not say your favourite." he protested. Come ooon, if he had to chose then she would have to chose as well. "But of course, whenever you're eating pie you have to drink a butterbeer to it." of course pie was good without butterbeer but it sure tasted good with butterbeer to it.

He grinned when she called him Dr. Pie. Was that another nickname he had gotten, eh? The Slytherin took a bite of the cherry pie she held out for him and thought for a while. It was definitely tasty that was one thing that was certain. "Well, Dr. Pie says that... It's sweet..." he took another bite with a wide smile. "But not as good as rasperry pie. You taste it." he urged her.

Cai saw that she tensed up when she mentioned the part about the slytherins.
"Oh, I'm really sorry! That's just what my parrents tell me. They don't like slytherins. Could you introduce me to your boyfriend?" Cai smile-frounded.

The Gryffindor boy smiled widely as his girlfriend kissed him and he put his arm around her shoulders. The whole school now could see that they were together; a Gryffindor and a Slytherin. No matter how much it looked difficult they were together. Josh thought that everyone must be envying them.

And she was right. He was going to be of age. ''Yes. Now. I'm 16 years old. This summer i'll be 17'' and when he would become of age he was going to do whatever he wanted.

Then he turned to face Captain Simon eyeing him some ''Nope i have not seen her'' he replied while playing with the potatoes on the table before him.

''Hahah look at him,he doesn't know what word SCARED means?? Well,my dear friend, I will show you what it means. Watch out,next time you see me,you will know the definition of word scared!''she chuckled. Yea, he will soon learn what does it mean.''Pie girl can be scarry,you'll see!''she said , proudly and gave him ''scary look''!

''Oh'I know,you can't really choose between pies,so that's why we are gonna try every!''she smiled,looking at those pies. Ummmmm....... ''And butterbear is there to help us eat them all!''she took two mugs and pass one to him.

She took a bite that he held for her. ''Well, I must say, Dr. Pie,you are completly right. It's sweet,and very crusty,i can say.''she chewed it. ''Oh I agree,not as good as raspberry pie.''she nodded. ''Cherry pie-out! Now next one.....hmm you choose!''she said,excited about the next pie. Yup they can finally decide which pie is really THE BEST-but every pie is great,no doubt. Maybe they will find the one that is special.

" We both missed each other" Rex told Fee. He hugged her back."A clinging peach, right?" Rex asked Fee." Best friends are the coolest" Rex smiled." The "Glitter Twins" Rex laughed. "Are you going to classes this term?" Rex asked Fee.

" Yes, another muggle-born" Rex told Nika." Yes, a prefext has authority but they also have to be really friendly and know when to tell the teaqcher or when to handle a problem yourself" Rex explained to Nika." Good lick on making the Quidditch team but I can only watch because my shoulder is still hurting but finally coming around where I can use it" Rex told Nika." Keeper is my favorite postion, too" Rex smiled.

" Yes, crazy, but fun crazy" Rex told Jacqueline." We are both doing well" Rex said to Jacqueline." This is what I can do with you 'sister" Rex smiled as he tickled her. Rex drank the butterbeer and ate a slice of blueberry pie. " The pie is great and the butterbeer is always great" Rex explained to Jacqueline." Introduce me to your friends that I do not know" Rex said to her." I am getting married adter I graduate" Rex said to her.

" I always mis you" Rex told Rene. " I am telling my friends we are getting married after graduation" Rex said to Rene. " is this a good idea?" Rex asked Rene.

"Being a prefect sounds hard, but I'm sure that it would be a little fun as well and I like having some responsibility so I think I might like to be one still." Nika explained, "I would love to try out for the Quidditch team, but I didn't think that first years were allowed. I kinda assumed since we weren't supposed to have broomsticks and all." Nika felt really bad about Rex's shoulder and a little surprised, "If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your shoulder? Did you hurt it while playing Quidditch?"

"Hey, Rex," Ava Jade replied with a smile. "I'm Ava Jade, fourth year Hufflepuff." She laughed when he called her a social butterfly. "I guess our circles just haven't crossed yet," she said -- she didn't remember seeing Rex more than a time or two in the halls either. "It's never too late to make a new friend," she continued. "So what year are you?"

"I adore it here. Besides, the food is delicious!" Lei said.

"I think the ghost is Nearly Headless Nick. He's our house ghost." She said answering Amy's question.

"Just Simon it is then." she smiled, picking up a grape from a nearby plate of...well, grapes. Popping the small fruit in her mouth, her eyesbrows raised in surprise for a moment as she glanced back to Just Simon for a moment before a sly grin spread across her lips.

"Well, now that you mention it..." Hehe. "A part of me still roots for the Slytherin team."

Chuckling quietly, her shoulders shaking just a tad, Evelyn scooted a bit closer to her Gryffindor as he placed his arm around her shoulder. Hmm that was better. Everyone see that? COOKIE GIRL see that? He's taken. They should ALL know that.

"I might need to take advantage of that." she whispered, before taking another grape and biting it in half. Especially if Mr. No Sense of Cleanliness would be staying at their home for the summer again.

"I'm a second year", shaking her head. Although I don't quite feel like it, I'm hoping to make this year better. She took the plate, "Thanks, I'm starving." Sweet, she loves my idea of butterbeer pie as she was trying to tame the beast inside her. "Hmm... we could make it and try selling the rights to a backer, maybe we can get some profit off it." Witsy may have taken too much of a fancy on this idea.

"Oh my gosh! This cranberry pie... you can't find this good a pie even in the muggle world. I would take these pies to my room if I didn't feel too guilty about it!" and continued to munch on more of the crust. "I love the crusts especially on the apple pies, don't you?"


Not sure if she should keep cramming her "disposal" she enjoyed the company very much and was eager to hear more about Jacquline's summer. "It is classic, you should definitely stick to that? Do you go with family or just friends?"


Witsy took another bite and was in awe of it's flavor, when she swallowed she looked around for banana juice. "My summer, well particularly this year I stayed with my muggle relatives for a few weeks. It was kind of disappointing and frustrating because I can't do magic in front of muggles even thought my cousin knows and I really wanted to practice for quidditch. I was only there for a few weeks, so that wasn't too bad. We went to mma (mixed martial arts) tournaments and we helped hand out medals. Once I got home, though, I got to practice in my yard and I got to set up traps to keep me alert. Nothing too interesting I suppose." she hoped she wasn't boring her in an effort to be social. she took another bite of her pie to break the silence.

"What's you're family like?" curious to know, "do you have any connections to muggles?"

Preston carefully took the macaroni from Lexi and began to pile it into the small plastic container he had ready to take to Ringo. Preston nodded his head. "I-I have a-a-an o-owl t-t-too." Preston said nodding his head a few more times. "H-His n-name is R-R-Randall." He told Lexi as he concentrated on packing as much macaroni he could into the small container. He was sure Ringo was quite hungry.

"R-R-Ring-Ringo is a-a r-r-raccoon." Preston told Lexi as he snapped the lid onto the container that now held Ringo's meal in it. "H-He acts l-l-like a-a c-c-cat th-though." Preston chuckled. He was going to add on that Ringo liked to sleep in the dryer when it wasn't in use, but decided that he should see how she reacted to the raccoon information before continuing to tell her more about Ringo.

"H-Hank w-w-would l-love t-to h-have a f-f-friend b-by th-the t-time he g-g-gets h-here." Preston said nodding his head up and down slowly. He was starting to get tired, but he had to last through the rest of the feast...he just had to.

" Hello Ava, nice to meet you " Rex told her." You are right, we just sdaw each other in passing" Rex agreed with Ava." I like making new friends" Rex said to Ava. " I am in my seventh year, braduating this term finally" Rex explained to Ava. "What year for you?" Rex asked Ava. "Where do you usually hang out?" Rex asked her.

"I'm excited about everything." She said.

"Shall we go to the Common Room?" She asked Amy.

Kurumi couldn't just pick one...she loved all the subjects. They all were so simple yet so complex. Everything she had learned her first year was fascinating and opened an entire new world of possibilities with each new tidbit. "Well, I am not sure I can pick the best one," Kurumi said shaking her head slightly. "My favorites are Care of Magical Creatures and Arthimancy. I also really enjoy Muggle Studies. It is very interesting to see my lifestyle through a wizard's eyes." She hoped that this was useful information.

Heather heard someone speak to her and she put down her juice and turned around to see a boy. He didn't look familiar to her but he looked a lot older. She smiled at him. "oh...uhm....we-were you referring to me?" she asked, a little nervous. "uhm..yes...i...am looking for someone over at the Slytherin table. i was looking for my best friend." answered Heather. She felt a little light knowing someone approached and talked with her. "oh...where were my manners?..." she muttered to herself. "uh...Hi, I'm Heather Rosemary Olsen..." letting out a hand for a friendly handshake, Heather put it in her mind to be as friendly and to try to be as sociable as Kurumi was as possible. After all, this boy who spoke with her was kind enough to notice her.

Heather was surprised upon seeing Rex again. oh right, he's a fellow Gyrffie too but older-and apparently fun to be with as he began to dance to make her smile. Heather couldn't hold back but laugh at the dances Rex did to make her smile. "hahahaha! okay...i remember you rex...hahaha!! stop, stop...you look silly already." she said trying to calm down from all the laughing she just did and smiled at Rex. "i have to admit, you are a graceful dancer...and you really made me happy right now, thanks. "

"'Eh Rex! Nice to see you too! You know I'm ready!" She smiled.

"Nice name! I'm Anna" She said with a serious look. She HATED the name Anna. So boring. "Second year Gryffindor. So what brings you to this neck of the hall eh?" Se said curiously. (In good nature.)

Rafe rolled his eyes as that weird Rex kid attempted to dance. He just simply overlooked him and continure his conversation. "Yes, I was referring to you," he replied with a wide smile. "Nice to meet you Miss Heather," he said as he took her hand and gave her a soft handshake. "My name's Rafe Lycaon," he then let go of her hand. "Slytherins are some of the best people you'll ever meet surprisingly. People go on and on about rivalries, but that's not true. As a matter of fact, it seems most Gryffindors and Slytherins end up dating each other," he chuckled as he picked up a goblet of butterbeer and took a sip. He glanced over at the Slytherin table, unfortunately he wasn't able to spot the person he was looking for. He just shrugged it off. "So, you looking forward to the school year?"

" Well, if I look silly and you are happy, then I did my job" Rex told Heather.
" Thanks, I do pride myself on my dancing" Rex said to Heather. " I love making people happy" Rex explained to Heather.

" You were one of the few xtudents I missed during the holiday" Rex told Anna. " I can't wait til we both have fun in the common room" Rex said to Anna. " This is my last term as I am graduating so we will have to do a bang-up job" Rex explained to Anna.

Emily almost choked on her pumpkin juice as she laughed.
"Sorry" Emily said brushing juice off the table "But I was hopeing you would ask me that!" she smiled and took at deep breath
"Yeah, I nagged my sister to tell me everything she could. She said all of the teachers here are very supportive and helpful even if some are quite strict. Of course, some new teachers will be here now..."
Emily glanced at the staff table before carrying on
"I don't know whether you like school or not, but we have quite a few lessons. History of magic, Herbology, Transfiguration, Potions... my favourite is charms! And we..."
Emily stopped as she wasn't sure Beth was following her
"Do you understand so far? You look kind of confused." Emily couldn't surpress a smile at this, but quickly got rid of it as she worried Beth would think she was taking the mick again.

Beth laughed and smiled. "I guess its just a lot to take in. But yes I get it so far." Beth poared some more pumpkin juice for herself and pushed the jug towards Emily. "And may I ask, what exactally is Herbology. . . Something to do with plants I'm guessing?"

"Awesome! I'm a fourth year," Ava Jade replied. "I hang out in the common room, Hogsmeade, the halls...even the library when forced!" She laughed. "It depends a lot on who I'm with. What about you?"

"Just looking to find old friends and make new ones!" Ava Jade replied brightly. "I have a lot of friends in other houses, not just Hufflepuff, though most of my friends are Puffs just because we hang out in the common room. But there's plenty of other places to meet at Hogwarts!" She paused, then asked, "So are you looking forward to your classes this term?"

" I hang out at the lake most of the time" Rex told Ava." I like the common room, Hogsmeade, but never the library" Rex said to Ava." I do go to classes but not the library" Rex explained to Ava.

"Yeah the library is great when you really have to get something done, so I spend more time there than I'd like towards the end of terms... But generally I avoid it!" She laughed. "It's just too quiet! Unless I'm working, I can't keep my mouth shut long enough to spend much time there."
