"Me too. I went home to my aunt as well who has raised me since I was little. I did however get to go to the military like base where my parents live at being aurors so that was awesome. I barely ever get to see them so it was quite a thrill for all of us getting to see each other again on my birthday.
But yeah, I am quite thrilled to be back at Hogwarts. My aunt is a bit wacky about freinds coming over. I had to sneak out to them or meet them in Diagon Alley. It was not fun. I like the freedom I have here. However I was disapointed that quiddich was cancelled last year for the Tournament. I can't wait to try out this year! What about you?".
Lucy felt happy as well as sad for Chloe as her story was something with ups and down, but it was quite interesting to hear "I'm glad that you got to meet your parents on your birthday, my parents and not alive" she said "They were with me till I was five, from then I live with my aunt, my aunt has been very supportive since then. She has always been like my mom." She said she got a bit upset thinking about her parents, but she’ll be alright, she had a habit and now she was use to it. "It seems like your holidays were great and yeah, meeting with friends not at home but n Diagonal Alley could get worse sometimes, but I think you had fun with all that!" she said excitingly.
She quickly took two cupcakes from the table and gave one to Chloe and took one for herself and began eating it. She loved chocolate cupcakes, actually she loved everything made of chocolate, and chocolate is her favorite flavor.

Mmmm delicious food!!!!!
The moment he sat down Josh Carter's eyes found the delicious food and he was almost hypnotysed by them. ''Mmm. Delish!'' he said and reached for the nearest chocolate cake. He loved chocolate cake and this one was quite delicious.
After having a huge bite from the cake, the Gryffindor boy, put it on his plate and looked for a delicious drink since now he was feeling thirsty. So, the boy reached for a glass of pumpkin juice to satisfy himself as he looked at the Slytherin table to see if Evelyn was there. Hmm... She was nowhere at sight now. So he continued gazing at the snakes table to see his girlfriend. Where was she? Hmmm...

Beth frowned at the strange liquid she was being offered and nodded.
"Does it actually taste like pumpkin?" she asked, poaring some and taking a sip before Emily had a chance to answer. "Actually, I don't think I have ever tasted pumpkin before so it wouldn't make any difference. Its nice anyhow. And as for sitting at the wrong table I just followed all of the other people with Gryffindor ties on." Beth glanced up the other three huge table which were rapidly filling up and she suddenly realised how many students there really were at Hogwarts.
Emily looked where Beth was looking.
"Yeah, there are a lot of students here. Dunno how many exactly, but a lot!"
She took another sip of juise then looked up at the staff table.
"That's where the all the staff sit" Emily said pointing "And the peson in the middle is our Headmaster. He should be doing the start of term speech soon."
Emily glanced at her watch, then continued to eat.
"So, do you know what Quiddage is?" she asked secretly hopeing Beth already knew the answer so she didn't have to explain it. It could be a confusing sport for a muggle-born.
"Good evening, Simon," Nick swept towards the boy, glad to see the young Lion. "Captain, is it?" he asked, his gaze landing on the badge the young man sported.
"Lexi." Nick had a smile for the polite lady. "Good to see you back."
Stepping up beside him, Madam Donovan inclined her head and smiled. "Good evening, Sir Nicholas," she greeted, relieved by his presence. "Getting to know everyone?"
"Feel free to bump into me any time," Kurumi winked as Coraline let go of her hand. Kurumi noticed the girls blue robes and smiled. "Congratulations on getting sorted into Ravenclaw. I know some great people in that house."
"All of them are older and they all graduated from Hogwarts. Two of my brothers were in Gryffindor and one was in Ravenclaw. My father also attended Hogwarts, also a Gryffindor."
"Anytime," Kurumi smiled placing her hand on the girls shoulder Just as she was about to continue their conversation, the Headmaster rose and began his opening speech.
Kurumi sat up as straight as she could and listened carefully. Kurumi flashed a look at all the new Gryffindor first years when Professor Tate told them to do their best and not die. Not exactly the most rousing words, but certainly good advice nonetheless. Then, Kurum tilted her head to the side and a large invisible question mark appeared over her head. Mr. Ikenna Gevrik? A special security consultant? What did the school need protecting from? Did it have something to do with all those posters and graffiti in Diagon Alley? What aout the Quibbler?
The Quibbler...Kurumi reached into her pocket and took it out before unfolding it. What in Merlin's beard was going on?
Now the Bloody Baron had also made his appearance who nodded at the two creepiest men. Now that was unsettling...
"Oh, my mum attended Hogwarts too. She was a Ravenclaw."
"Oh, my. How could I forget your parents died. I'm so sorry. But you do have an aunt that loves you as do I in her own way and thats good too.", Chloe said trying to sound supportive though it was hard thinking about her aunt. "And yeah we did have quite a lot of fun sneaking around Diagon Alley. Chloe then noticed Lucy had given a triple chocolate cupcake. She smiled and said, "thank you", and dug into the scrumptious cupcake.
Why did he reacted so... aggressively, he didn't know neither. But he was quite annoyed and jealous right now. He wanted to smack the boy in the face. But common sense held him back, and he merely said to Sophie "Yes, I'd love to do something with YOU tomorrow. Shall we visit the new grounds, see what's new and stuff alone?" There. Even though he had an unresistable urge to look at the boy with satisfaction, he held back again and just ignored him and his stupid Pisa Tower... hehe. He made sure the boy would hear that HE was the one to be alone with HER tomorrow though. There was of course guilt about feeling rather jealous and offering to be alone with another girl, but he'd deal with guilt later.
Now, he wanted to show this guy that Sophie was off-limits. Go find yourself some girl else to flirt, dork.
Of all the things Sophie could expect from Evan anger and jealousy wasn't at the top of her list. She had to rethink that though bearing in mind how Evan acted now in Sebastian's presence. The Brunette was astounded by the way her fellow prefect acted just because another boy was talking to HER. Albeit a boy whom was discussing the finer points of flirting a girl up with her whch Sophie hadn't untill now fanthomed. Awkward!
It was a tad scary to see Evan so annoyed when they didn't exactly knew each other that well. Had she made such a big effect on him? Oh dear, no that couldn't be possible, could it? Sophie had no veela blood in her family lineage that she knew off. Maybe she'd ask Geer about veela characteristics at a later time. Licking her lips she said a bit wide eyed but with a clear voice to Evan. "I'd love to visit the grounds with you tomorrow and see what new things the groundskeeper has thought up over the summer." It was easier than admitting right now to herself that Sophie was scard.

Sophie saw Madam Donovan the Gryffindor head of house come to the table. Waving vigourously for her to come over she hoped that the older woman could stop a situation from ensuing. Sophie had never planned for this to happen why was Evan reacting so strongly to another boy.
District 9 Tribute World's Biggest Harry Potter Fan
Arabella-Marie yawned she was tired but she wanted to make some more friends before heading up to the gryffindor tower to sleep but she knew that she would probably be too hyper to sleep by the time the feast was over
Sophie watched with interest how Evan greeted Jamie and tried to make the first year see that Slytherin wasn’t a bad house despite the rumors that may have floated around on the train. Her friend was doing a good job and Jamie agreed to give being a Slytherin a try. It could be that she fit into the house after all and that the Sorting hat hadn’t made a mistake. Sophie shot Jamie a bright smile"I’m sure you’ll do great in Slytherin! Don’t worry so much it will be fine you just need to settle into the new house. If not you know where to find Evan and I probably won’t be hard to find either." Turning to Evan she replied to his previous question "I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow besides visiting the owlery. Want to do something together?" The prospect of being alone with Evan felt like going out on deep water. Scary!
Err, hadn’t he asked her that question already? Furrowing a brow Sophie said in between another sip of pumpkin juice. "I’m in fifth year/OWL year." But then didn’t think much of it since her stomach was grumbling what was taking Headmaster Tate so long to deliver his speech. The nickname she had given him he accepted without objection which was surprising to some degree but not really when she heard some of the other things he had been called. "Oh, that wasn’t very nice. I would never call you that. I didn’t even know there was a crab in a muggle movie that shared your name."
Then the Italian boy started to make no sense at all. What he was rambling on about Sophie had no idea. She had lost him from the get go after not needing to be a flirty guy around her. Awkward! What was she supposed to say or do? "Erm, I’m glad to hear that. I want everyone to stay true to who they are. And act like they would normally do." And not act like someone they weren’t it just caused troubles.
Military?
Bastian moved on to talk about his hometown Pisa but what caught her interest was the mention of muggle military. Curiously Sophie asked "What does the muggle military do? Is it like the Ministry of magic of the magical world?"
The house ghost Nearly-Headless Nick floated over to their table for a while and talked to some students. Sophie sat in the wrong end of the table though so she never got to wish him a good evening or to make a closer acquaintance. The ghost soon after drifted out of the hall and Headmaster Tate held a short speech and so did the Ministry security liaison. The feast was unfortunately not opened.
Jamie smiled back up at the Gryffindor. If anything she'd want to find her before she'd want to find Evan. It wasn't anything against him she just still wasn't so sure. "Well Thank you Sophie. I guess I best be going. Lots of new people to meet."

"Varity in a family is always good," he said, never mind the fact that he was coming from a family dominated by Slytherins. "Now, you can leave your own steps." Why following his father's footsteps anyway? She was an individual on her own. Still keeping all these to himself. She may not take his ideas too favourably.
"Oh, see, that's great!" he grinned. "I told you it was all rumours tha--" What, what? Flirting?! Was this guy flirting with Sophie? Cut off in his mid-sentence, Evan tried to focus on his conversation with Jamie, but his ears were listening to Sophie and the stupid dork. Blinking, his friendly tone getting slightly harder with annoyance, he still managed to smile.
"Yeah, like I said. Slytherin has lots to offer too, and I'm sure you'll love it." In fact, Slytherin got more to offer than Gryffindor. At least, they didn't have any stupid flirty dorks that made girls uncomfortable. Cue to the Italian guy talking to Sophie.
"All good now?" he asked with a smile, mind getting off Sophie for a moment. "If you have any troubles or just want to chat--" Wow, Evan Cartwright offering a little brat sweet girl to chat anytime. Revolution. "--you'll probably see me in the common room, or in one of the gardens with a football." He grinned at that. Yeah, she'd definitely see him with football.
He'd have asked her if she'd met any other Slytherin prefects yet, but he really wanted to tell a word or two to this big-headed Italian. Now that Jamie was a little bit assured Slytherin was a good house too, he could always introduce her later, right?
Flickering his blue eyes at the boy, he listened to him explaining how he would normally flirt a girl. Oh, how rude! And also, such a cliché! He snorted as the boy explained. Everyone--at least every boy that knew how to flirt properly--knew that telling a girl his normal ways was one of the most effective cons to get girls. Telling them they were different and that their tactics didn't work on them and all that jazz would 99% get a girl to believe they really were different, and would make them smile, and then came the rest.

Jamie stood there and listened. Well he was a good Prefect all up in that house spirit he was. She nodded and said, "Yeah I'll be just fine thanks." She saw a glint of something in his eye but didn't comment on it like she usually would have. It was his own problems. "I guess I'm going to go and make a bunch of new friends at the snake table." With the she waved at both Evan and Sophie and made her way back.

Hearing the voice of her Head of House, Lexi turned to see her. "Good evening, Madame Donovan. I hope your holiday was well," she said in a soft tone as she gave the woman a small smile. Giving a slight bow of the head to both she and Sir Nick, Lexi then turned back toward the table to continue pushing her food around her plate.

Alright, so maybe she was just a bit impatient that Josh hadn't found her yet. No matter though. His table was...only a few away.
Glaring at the other two as she walked by, especially to a little scene of Marie and Stalker Dude, Evelyn focused on the house of lions, looking for a particular head of brown hair and tan skin, as well as another particular lion though she didn't see him before seeing the original she was looking for. There he was. Eating of course. So was the librarian and a few others she didn't particularly like, but she wasn't here to talk to them.
Grinning, the Slytherin moved over to him before wrapping her arms around his shoulders, making sure to not really get in the path of his plate to his mouth. Hehe, lions and their food, right? "Hey there."

Satisfied with the piece of chicken, veggies and potatoes he had forked onto plate, Simon looked up spotting Josh's frozen state and chuckled. His friend always seemed so taken by the good food of the school expecially at the feasts. Leaving him be, he took a few bites of his own dinner before taking a sip of pumpkin juice to wash it down.
"So how was the ---," he started before noticing Josh's preoccupation with the Slytherin house table.
Girlfriends...speaking of which where was Viky? he mused to himself glancing around the table before focusing back on Josh.
"...rest of your summer?" he finished asking his friend restarting their conversation. "Hello Evelyn," he greeted politely as she came over almost as if answering Josh's searching eyes. She was his best friend's girlfriend after all.

While waiting for an answer, or more like leaving Josh be since he knew with food and Rose he was nothing, Simon couldn't help spot Madam Donovan approach next to Sir Nicholas. Our new head of house, he reminded himself. "Good evening, Madam Donovan," he greeted with a polite smile.

"Oh okay, well I'm in my sixth year, well I think." Sebastian said trying to remember. He didn't really pay attention that much to school, but the again he usually did have really good grades. He laughed as she said that she would never call him that nickname. "Well I'm glad." He said simply with a grin. Yeah, for no more weird and awkward nicknames!
Seb scratched his head and sighed. "What I meant was, I'm glad to have found a friend, whom I don't need to flirt with to have a conversation. If that makes any sense whatsoever." He said, taking the last sip of his juice.
"I'm not sure if I would compare it to the Ministry of Magic, but muggle military is where, well I'm not sure, my father doesn't really tell me anything about his job. Just the basics about helping out poor muggles and things like that." He said, wishing his dad would come back.

Oh wait.
"Oh goodness, you're jealous." He stated, crossing his arms, looking smug. "No worries, mate." He said, laughing......but he was definitely not going to show that he was a weee bit jealous, oh well.

''Hey Rose'' . She was looking as beautiful as usual and when the boy glanced at her he realised how much he missed her. ''Come here. Sit down.'' he said indicating the seat next to himself.

Wait, whose voice was that. That accent and perhaps the smell of coffee on it. Kurumi's head snapped around to see Sophia sitting a few seats away from her. "SOPHIA!" Kurumi called waving like a maniac and charming a Gryffindor shield cookie towards her.

Josh? Josh! Kurumi hadn't seen him in so long. Just as she was about to hop up out of her seat, she felt that odd burning sensation in the back of her head and it didn't take too long to figure out why. Cookie Hater walked right past her and, gasp, wrapped her arms around Josh. Kurumi's eyes remained unblinking for several seconds wondering what her next move should be. Close her mouth and turn back to the table? Stay in her gapping mouth and unblinking position? Or just muster up some lion courage and go talk to Josh...and Cookie Hater.
....
Well, the second option seemed like the one to throw out.

He frowned slightly, he didn't know her that well yet. If it was Fee or someone else close to him he'd wrap them into a huge bear hug but he just patted her on the back slightly. "How about you act all confident and tough and make the other give up?" Charade! He grinned widely, that could work. Alex laughed raising one eyebrow at her. "Oh really I have to look out for the Lions eh? I thought you would be here to protect me?" he smirked.
He was noooot silly. Alright perhaps a little bit... "Oh I get it." he laughed, another facepalm. "Chicken is aweomse, I've never been disappointed in chicken." he mused. Weelll isn't this a weird topic? Chicken, really? Huh, why not. It was tasty and he was actually thinking about stealing some chicken to have that same night in the Common Room... Could he do that? Steal a chicken from the Lions that was? Hehe, maaybe.
Sophia wasn't a third year... Internal pout, oh well it didn't matter Alex could be alone in his year sure. *wibble* "A second year, huh?" He searched his mind for any second year Gryffindor he knew. Heather and Kurumi were both second years, that was great they should adopt Sophia. Heh.
"I've actually never been to Italy." he said a bit bummed out. His friends had and that made him super jealous... "Really why in February? I thought you were supposed to go there when it was closer to summer?" he asked curiously. Or perhaps he had gotten it all wrong?
"I'm from here originally." he smiled. "But then my family moved so I've transferred from America. New York as a matter of fact." The good thing about that was that he could easily change between his brittish accent and his american one.
"Yep, a second year!" Sophia said, grinning. Even though it might not be something to grin about, because she felt really young compared to everyone here. "Are your parents wizards?" she asked. "Not that I care. Just wondering." she added quickly, so he didn't think that she was prejudiced or something.
"Oh. My. Gosh." she said, eyes wide. "It is beautiful." she said, a dreamy tone in her voice. "Oh, February is when Carnival in Venice starts." she said. "It is definatly one of those things that you have to see before you die." she said, honestly. It is amazing. Like the Italian version of Halloween.
"I see." she said, nodding her head. "I just came back from New York." she said. "I think the place we went to was called Manhattan, but I'm not sure. It was in New York City though." she said. "So do you live in America during the summer?" she asked. "Like I live in Italy during the summer." she explained.

Wait, whose voice was that. That accent and perhaps the smell of coffee on it. Kurumi's head snapped around to see Sophia sitting a few seats away from her. "SOPHIA!" Kurumi called waving like a maniac and charming a Gryffindor shield cookie towards her.
Sophia heard her name and turned around. "KURUMI!" she said, happily. "OH MY GOSH! Cookie!" she said, staring at the amazingly awesome Gryffindor cookie in the girl's hands. "How was your summer?" she asked, once she was done staring at the cookie. "Mine was... well.. eventful." she said, chuckling a little bit.
Kurumi smiled gently at the younger boy. Yep, she knew exactly how he felt. Last year, she had made a total fool out of herself at the Gryffindor table because of her shyness. Thank Merlin a year at Hogwarts had helped her overcome that a bit. "It's OK to be nervous," she smiled. "I'm Kurumi." She charmed the cookie to twirl around on the table a few times in an attempt to make him smile a bit. "What's your name?"
Septimus allowed a small grin to spread across his face. He smiled up at Kurumi. "I'm Septimus Galen," he said, holding out his hand for her to shake. "First year Gryffindor and unre-" Septimus stopped himself before he blurted out his biggest secret. Like, EVER.

Kurumi tilted her head to the side. First year Gryffindor and unre....unrelated unicorn? Unrealized interpretive dancer? Maybe the boy was just nervous and had been stuttering. Kurumi did that often enough to know. "It's nice to meet you Septimus," she smiled bowing her head again.

Where had her charming Italian friend been hiding all this time?! Kurumi went over and hugged her. "My summer was alright. Adam came to visit, so that kept my mother off my back for a little. She took my wand...I only got it back when my oldest brother took me to Diagon Alley for shopping," she explaining throwing in another hug. "I've missed you! I am so glad to be back." Eventful? Sounded like a rather long story that Kurumi was definitely interested in hearing. "Oh! Do tell me!"

''Hey Rose'' . She was looking as beautiful as usual and when the boy glanced at her he realised how much he missed her. ''Come here. Sit down.'' he said indicating the seat next to himself.
And the moment he turned there he saw Simon the Captain who was enjoying the food on the table. Then he looked up at him when he asked how was his summer. ''My summer was fun'' he said ''I enjoyed it a lot especially the part with Rose.'' of course he would enjoy his girlfriend's presence. ''How about your summer?''
See? Such a wonderful boyfriend he was.
As she sat down in the seat next to him, she quickly placed a light kiss on his cheek before glancing towards Simon. "Hello Simon." Mmhmm, and she actually meant it. He was at least one of the Gryffindors she liked and could stand. "Or should I call you Captain Simon? I hear a congratulations is in order."
Hogwarts wasn't the only place one could hear gossip.
Smiling, the Slytherin took a quick look around to see who else was there are the table as well as the food and drinks before her attention was diverted to the talk of summer. Spending Summer with Josh? Hehe yea, she enjoyed that part as well. "You should come over again this Summer. You'll be of age right?"
Arabella-Marie yawned she was tired but she wanted to make some more friends before heading up to the gryffindor tower to sleep but she knew that she would probably be too hyper to sleep by the time the feast was over
"Hey there, I'm Heather." Heather said smiling and holding out her hand.

Awww Jacky was soo cute, really. She always made Fee smile.Cutie pie.Total cutie pie."I missed you too",she smiled hugging her friend back.Even though they had seen eachother back in Diagon Alley, the blonde was glad to be back at Hogwarts and see her a lot more.Hogwarts reunited them. "Ohh with Alex?",the girl chuckled,"so how come you know my best friend?"It was kinda funny how huge yet so small Hogwarts was. "I knoow where ahve ypu been all the time?",the Slythie asked her friend.Weird how so many people seemed as if they had hidden somewhere."Ohh your fave pie?",the blonde asked curious",what is it?"Smelling the food made the girl hungry too, the headmaster should better hurry with his speech.
Jacqueline really loved Fee,she was her favorite Slytherin girl. ''Oh yea, I have just met Alex, at the Gryffindor table. He is such a great person isn't he?''she said and smiled. She has just met him,but she can still tell that he is a good guy. ''I was at the back of the train, and i saw Hugo there. We had a great convo. And where the hell where ya? ''she asked. She really wanted to see her,but now she is there,no worries. ''Hah yea the pie. Apple pie. Bingo!''she smiled with the funny face. ''Oh I love Apple pie,Cherry pie, Blueberry pie, Pumkine pie.....oh i love pies!! I am such a pie freak, right?''she giggled and saw all those pies on the table. ''Oh yum,it's time for action!'' and the little Jacky got the plate and the pie hunt has just begun.

Jacqueline really felt good. His humour made her feel like that, perhaps.''Yea you are a very funny guy, that's great! Ya cheered me up!''she said and winked. Yea,he can make you change your mood, fantastic.
''Oh that will be hard. Making be look confident. Mission inpossible. I am just always like that. There is no way i can change that,i guess it is just somethin i had since i was a kid. Perhaps. Oh well at least, I can go and try. Hope for the best! Yea!''she tried the stay in a good mood, like Alex is. ''Ahh watch out for Lions! Hahhah don't ya worry Lions won't touch ya when you are here with me. But make sure you keep your eyes wide open,we are goooooood!!'' she laughed all the time. What a great way to start the term. Really. Couldn't be better!
''Well, chicken is great, I admit, from now on I'll eat chicken more often.''she took another bite. ''Man,this is good!'' she kept eating and eating. ''Well, I think it is time for dessert! PIES!'' she said and when she saw all those pies at the table she just had to try them all. ''Too bad I'll get sick now. But who cares!'' she took a plate, and just a tiny slice of each pie. She knew she couldn't eat much. She had to try them all.
Carpe Diem: Make today extraordinary! WOOT WOOT! GRYFFINDOR!!

Sophia grinned and hugged her back. "That sounds like fun, except the taking of the wand part." she said. "Do you know why she took it?" she asked Kurumi. Sophia hugged her friend back again. Kurumi was just radiating warmth, which was good. Sophia needed it. "I have missed you too!" she said. "I am glad to be back as well. I swear my parents were going to drive me insane." she said, smirking a little bit. "Well, the beginning of the summer was just... terrible." she said. Worst month of her life. "It's sad. I dunno if you wanna hear it, but if you do, I'll tell you." she said. "But the rest was good." she said, on a happier note.
Kurumi tilted her head to one side. First year Gryffindor and unre….unrelated unicorn? Unrealized interpretive dancer? Maybe the boy had just been nervous and was stuttering. Kurumi did that often enough to know. “It’s nice to meet you Septimus,” she smiled bowing her head again.
“Nice to meet you too,” said Septimus, the small smile returning to his face. Thank Heaven se didn’t ask what he meant when he stopped himself. Close call, Sep he thought. One more slip like that and it could be your secrecy.
