Woah. Was this guy psychic or something? Or did Legend just look that much older and mainly? Probably the second one. "Fifteen actually. But I'm in sixth year. Turning sixteen in a couple of days." Yeah, only FOUR more days. He should throw a giant party in that epic secret room. That would be awesome. "How did you guess? Are you some sort of stalker?"

"Not usually. I don't know why it's taking forever. I think they are trying to torture us." Go to bed with NO FOOD! The worse thing ever. "Are you enjoying Hogwarts so far? Minus the whole no food thing...and crazy Professors thing..and crazy people thing." Yeah, minus all those factors and you got a big old castle full of magic. "New York? Is that the place where it's always windy? Or is it that place where the giant lizard attacked people?"

He watched too many old Muggle movies.

"You should! It's beautiful to visit. Not really to live cause ya' know..get's boring quick. And you would probably need a translator." Because American's only knew English right?

Busted! At least he was found by the cute loud one and not...the evil one. But something told him that Lulu wouldn't be far behind.

"GREER MCKENSIE" He yelled just as loud, but his deep voice didn't bring quite as much annoyance as Greer's high pitched one. Eh, he'd let it go for her though. She was cute.

Theodore spent most of the time looking around for the gang he hadn't seen all summer, between cakes and pumpkin juice, he was sure they would come over to find him, he was afterall....their "leader"

Lei smiled as she saw Kurumi waving her hands frantically. It made her look silly, but it lifted her mood greatly.

"Oh, are your brothers older or younger than you? Do they come to Hogwarts as well?" She asked. Lei was just full of questions.

"Yeah, I know the feeling. Although I have to admit the thing I am looking forward to most is flying and using my wand for the first time! It is literally burning in my holster from desire of being used. You know it's funny. All of my life I was fine without a wand. I watched my parents and whole family use theirs, but I never really ever itched to use one. Now that I have one it's like I have to use it. The wand is calling to me!"

It was true. She craved to dip her hand into the leather holster and pull out her maple wand. The griffin core was like a siren calling her to action, but until classes started she would have to ignore the call.

"So we may have talked about this, but I forgot. What class are you most looking forward to?"

Amy was very happy because she was now a lion! She made her way to the Gryffindor's table and sat next to Kurumi and her friends.
"Kurumi, I'm officially a lion. I was chosen to Gryffindor!" She said excited and with a huge smile on her face that since she received the Hogwarts letter wasn't seen.
She took a bit of everything and started to eat.

"Exactly! Well, maybe not the broom, but I'm just dying to use my wand, without fear of blowing something up!" Elyon listened to Selina's sudden craving for using her wand and nodded. "I've only seen Christopher's when he brought it home this summer, but he couldn't do any magic, so when I went to Diagon Alley over the summer, I flipped! I just could not wait! The one time I tried to do a spell on the train, I blew up a cup of tea!" She giggled, hoping that wouldn't happen again! Tomorrow seemed so far away.....

"Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration. Though I think we already have. What about you?"

"Hello, I'm Lei Sloan and I'm a new Gryffindor too." She stuck her hand out the girl sitting next to her.

"So how do you like it so far here? She asked the new girl.

"Okay, so mental note: stay away from Elyie when she is in charms." Selina joked. She was sure her friend would do fine, magic was all practice her father always said.

"Oh okay, I do think I remember that. But you know you talk to so many people it gets confusing. And flying and DADA. They kind of go hand in hand for headstrong and somewhat stubborn people, don't you think?"

Trina slipped into a seat, her eyes still up on the ceiling. It was beyond anything that everyone had described- and it was beautiful. She adjusted her robes, smiling down at the Gryffindor patch- glad to know what house she was in now.

"Hey everyone!" she said, looking around her at the table.

Alice's face fell as she realized that this had been a bad subject to bring up. She could tell from Lexi's facial expression that this wasn't the time to ask questions, so Alice gave her a little smile. "Oh, alright," she said, taking a sip of her pumpkin juice. Deciding that perhaps it would be best to avoid the topic of summer vacation all together Alice shifted gears. "So, O.W.L. year. Are you nervous?" Alice knew this year was perhaps the most grueling for witches and wizards, and she herself was not looking forward to them. However, she knew Lexi was an incredibly talented witch and was sure she would do fantastic on them.

Raven back in Gryffindor Table after having a round in The Great hall, HE is still amaze by the bewitched ceiling.

Raven seated again and took some food that emerge in front of him out of nowhere

"yay, food --i need to fill my belly", Raven say, he didn't care what the situation in the Staff table and other people around him.

"Feel free to bump into me any time," Kurumi winked as Coraline let go of her hand. Kurumi noticed the girls blue robes and smiled. "Congratulations on getting sorted into Ravenclaw. I know some great people in that house."


"All of them are older and they all graduated from Hogwarts. Two of my brothers were in Gryffindor and one was in Ravenclaw. My father also attended Hogwarts, also a Gryffindor."


"Anytime," Kurumi smiled placing her hand on the girls shoulder Just as she was about to continue their conversation, the Headmaster rose and began his opening speech.

Kurumi sat up as straight as she could and listened carefully. Kurumi flashed a look at all the new Gryffindor first years when Professor Tate told them to do their best and not die. Not exactly the most rousing words, but certainly good advice nonetheless. Then, Kurum tilted her head to the side and a large invisible question mark appeared over her head. Mr. Ikenna Gevrik? A special security consultant? What did the school need protecting from? Did it have something to do with all those posters and graffiti in Diagon Alley? What aout the Quibbler?

The Quibbler...Kurumi reached into her pocket and took it out before unfolding it. What in Merlin's beard was going on?

Now the Bloody Baron had also made his appearance who nodded at the two creepiest men. Now that was unsettling...

So the Baron had decided to make an appearance at the staff table. Hmph. Nick gave a little flick of his head, causing it to wobble unsteadily, before sweeping across the Gryffindor table and coming to a rest at the very end.

Delicious food. Made him sad not to be able to eat it.

Adam was going for a chicken drumstick when a head popped up.
"WHOA!"He said completely falling back in the bench."You're a Ghost...How do you do?"Adam asked the ghost as it's head rested on his shoulder quite unsecure.

Oh? A ghost at the Gryffindor table? Wait, Kurumi had read about him. "Good evening, Sir Nicholas,"Kurumi whispered.

Raven saw the ghost gliding in the Gryffindor Table, he shock a bit but he remember he is in wizard kind, he decided to check on the ghost.

"Hey, Mister ghost, how looong are being dead" Raven teasing "--err, what your name Sir" Raven brakes, he stop teasing the ghost

Nick straightened his head and looked a little offended. "Of course I am." The house ghost.

"Fine, thank you," the ghost said regally. "How do you do, young man?"

Nick smiled at the girl, the smile warm despite the fact that one could see right through it. Literally.

"How do you do, Kurumi?"

"I am doing fine. Umm, excuse me, I'm muggleborn, and I don't want to sound rude but umm, what's your name, and why aren't you in heaven?"Adam asked curiously.

"Kurumi that's a ghost- and not a creepy one we almost saw at the graveyard, a actual ghost!"Adam told her, emotion sweeping over his mind, this was a first.

Kurumi shot a look at Adam. Being a third year, he ought to know his own house ghost. "I'm doing alright," she said looking nervously back at the Staff Table. "Sir Nicholas, do you know anything about the man Headmaster Tate just introduced?"


"I know," she said laughing off Adam's comment. "But, Sir Nicholas is nothing like those ghosts from the stories I heard growing up in Japan." No, he was more like a nearly headless Casper than a scary revenge seeking ghost.

"thanks Kurumi." Heather told her friend and drank the juice down. she watched aas Kurumi then turned her attention to a freshman and welcoming the boy into the house. She smiled. Kurumi sure is sociable. She glanced at the silent but smug-faced Edward still standing and looking at her which made her annoyed at the moment. Somehow Edward has managed to make himself annoying, irritating, hard to bear and frightening at the same time to Heather and his staring at her only doubled the tension and the chills she felt. There was something rather odd and off with the way he's staring at her right now though...

"w-what? you're not going to sit down and eat?" she asked him and turned away to look at the Slytherin table, hoping to find Cass.

Simon had been sitting relatievely quietly at the house table, the boy mostky just watching others interactiosn or keeping an eye on the dram at the staff table. Whoever the strange man was, he certainly was making it hard on the rest of the staff and when the headmaster made his speech including the man's identity he could see why.

Security...at Hogwarts?

At a slightly cool breeze, the sixth year turned to spot the Gryffindor house ghost as he made his appearance for the evening. "Good evening, Sir Nicholas," Simon spoke a with a smile at the familiar spirit, adding his own greetings to his housemates.

How rude. "Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington," Nick said royally, before turning his back on the boy and sweeping away from him.

Ah. Nick hovered near the boy, nodding. The action might have caused his head to wobble if it hadn't been for his ruff.

"Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington," he announced. Not in heaven? "I chose not to... pass on."

Lexi had been about to dive into a pile of food and not come up for air anytime soon when she spotted the house ghost having a go at a few rude Lions. Sighs. They all got sighs. "Sir Nicholas! Lovely of you to join us at the feast, sir!" she called out to the ghostly man.

Kurumi nodded to Heather, her thoughts still lost in what the Headmaster had been saying. Save a muggle...and now there was some special security task person in Hogwarts. He was just going to...patrol? It made little sense. Wasn't there enough protection around Hogwarts to keep everyone safe?

This was reminding her about what she had read in Hogwarts, a History when all the Aurors had been called to guard the school.

Then, her face grew dark and gloomy. "D-D-D-Do you think there are going to be any dementors?"

Adam never knew that there was a choice or not to be a ghost in the mortal world or to just go on to heaven.
"Sorry sir, if I sounded rude to you- I was only wondering.
Can anyone have the choice to pass on or not? Or do they need certain creditianls to do so?"Adam asked even further.
