While talking to Aimee, kind of, Stephen heard the compartment door open and a low voice talking to them. Looking up, he saw a girl, probably first year or second, asking to join them. Stephen was a bit hesitant, but let the girl come in anyway. "Go ahead," Stephen pointed to the seat next to Aimee, since he ws taking up all of the other side. Which meant that he should probably sit up right.

So much for a nap.

"So, are you new to Hogwarts?" He asked, starting up a conversation and guessing she was by her size.

She nodded once, "I should've been in my fifth year, but they placed me a year behind due to the--to quote them--'low standards'--of the school I had been attending."

She got the impression that Zoey didn't at all believe that she was sure Hogwarts would be great, and gave a small laugh. "I had some doubts as well, but, in the end, I was so desperate to be there, I didn't even care if it was a horrid place. But it turned out to be exactly what I wanted in a school. " Of course, for Zoey it was evidently a different story. Bah. She got her point across.

Ari subconsiously touched a hand to her glasses, although they hadn't slipped one bit. "My sister didn't want to be here, either. I've always heard about how she was against moving to england until she was out of school just because she didn't want to come to Hogwarts. I never understood what she thought would be so bad, and I don't think my parents did, either...But Alice got what she wanted. They waited. Just to make her happy," she finished, a small bitter note twisting into her words as she sneered slightly.

"...Anyway," she said, shaking her head to clear away the thought, "It could just be me, but my experience with the place is all really good. No significant negative comments," she chuckled, being honest.

Valeire grinned. She was glad to have a friend to talk to. It was better than being alone. Val noddded. Ohh she could just picture the two of them at Diagon Alley looking for the perfect owl. "That would be so awesome. Oh I can hardly wait to get to school and see the castle."

Alice walked in and sat beside the girl. She placed her trunk near the compartment door and Glen on her lap. "Thank you and yes this is my first year" she said calmly. Alice wasn't as excited to go as other first years rambling on and on about what they will be doing and who they're excited to see. She scratched behind Glen's ear then moved to his neck "meow meow" Glen purred.

"Sure, that would be great." Cass said as she watched Ice sniff the floor of the compartment curiously

Cass giggled "I know how you feel. Its just impossible to get angry at someone as cute as Ice"


"Alright." Cass said uncertainly. "I guess, she doesn't hate you...or else she would be scratching your eyes out by now."

Heather backed off a bit after hearing cass's reply. after all, she wouldn't want to have Ice hate her or scrathc her eyes out. (she is rather fond of her silver eyes because it is of a unique color.)

deciding to change the topic, heather remembered Edward. "hey cass..." she said. "Ed's in hogwarts, and he acted pretty much like you knew he was coming here. how come i never knew that? no one told me that he's attending hogwarts...and he certainly didn't send his sweet little owl -the owner is definitely not sweet- to tell me that." she frowned. had edward and cass been keeping a secret from her? why would her best friend and her worst nightmare be keeping secrets from her?

"Well, it doesn't take half a brain to figure out the Ed would be coming to Hogwarts since he's already 11." Cass stated. Then she smirked when Heather mentioned the owl "Oh, don't bother waiting for any owls. You won't be getting any."

Cass does have a point. She and Ed are both 11...except for the fact that at the end of next month, heather will be turning 12. then Edward's cute little owl. what did cass mean by not getting any owl from edward? she adored the owl, but never the owner.

"so cass, i met up with Nathan...and i just remembered, how's Lyra?" apparently, Heather didn't see Lyra around the place since she didn't meet up with Cass before getting on the train.

"Well, she's dating Nathan." Cass said with a shrug. "Since she studied in Beubaxton's, she probably thought Nathan was some random stranger."

Heather tried to suppress a laugh. Nathan does look like a random stranger at times and totally approved of Lyra and Nathan dating. afterll, Nathan and Lyra are included in her favorite people list. "well, that's nice to hear. i do hope big brother nathan would take good care of Lyra." she said. "he is sort of a playful guy, hm?" well, for sure, heather is not sure if nathan is playful to others except to her (considering the fact that heather is childish and playful that she always wants to play games with nathan when he's around.)

"Yeah, while Lyra is just the perfect princess of etiquette." Cass said as she rolled her eyes

Heather couldn't agree anymore then she yawned. where was her manners? but heather was tired. she stayed up so late last night!

"uh cass...i think i'll go find an empty compartment...i want to take a nap, you don't mind, do you?" she asked in a dazed manner.

Ben ran his hand around the back of his neck and mumbled, "Yeah. First year."
He looked up and saw the chocolates Jessica was offering. For a moment, he just looked at the candies then at her as if not sure she really meant to be offering them to him. Finally, he timidly reached out and took a piece. "Thanks."
As he turned the candy over in his hand, closely inspecting it for nothing in particular he asked, "And you? Er, um- well, what year are you, I mean," never looking up from the warming confection in his hand.

Damian walked slowly. Her cape felt heavy tough nothing has changed about it. A wand in her pocket, trunk by her right hand and Reaper's cage by her left hand, she stood there thinking which way to turn. The train was crowded with kids and teenagers. A scream of excitement swapped across the train. It was a sign that Damian was waiting for to turn the other way and keep on walking. There weren't a lot of seats left.
"I should settle for something already, or I will be left with nothing..." Damian hissed at herself as she turned to face the door. She opened it and looked inside. A free seat.
"Is it... taken?" Damian asked as she turned her head around to see who was in the cabin. One girl had sunglasses. "How odd" Damian thought to herself. It took her a second to finally realize the cause.
Damian's face didn't change. It stayed still and tired. But her inside voice... it was silent....
Normally Damian would have turned around, asking herself, why would she sit next to anyone at all but this was not the case. She couldn't risk being left without her seat. Then she would have to turn around and go to the back of the train where all true souls of Slytherin sat. She was waiting for that moment all this time. To meet them, to gang up, to have a riot once in a while, to laugh about first years, to make fun of those who seemed weird... And now. Now suddenly she's got cold feet.
With Slytherin badge on her cape, she moved her trunk and Reaper's cage inside the cabin and shut the door behind her. The black swan in disguise.

Now. Finn was really hoping that she wasn't going to be in gryffindor, because that would be rather disappointing, although she could've bragged to Lexi if she was, but he did hope she was in a different house. Slytherin? Oh. It seemed that he was really into Slytherins. Maybe it was because all these slytherin girls seemed to be pretty and blonde. He approved a lot. "Slytherin..." He repeated, before grinning. Oh yes. That had just made her like 10 times hotter. "I think it's very cool." He added, smirking at her. "I'm in Ravenclaw." The most epic house obviously. Because he was in it.

Keep him nice and flirty? Hmm. That was quite fine by her. He just grinned down at her, as he led her onto the train, maneuvering her between people. "Front..." He murmered, glancing in each compartment they passed to see if any of them were empty. Oooh. Jackpot. There was one. With the arm that wasn't around her waist, he pushed the door open, and led her into the now empty compartment. He turned around, glancing out of the compartment door, before shutting it. Nobody had better interupt up them. Or he would be so annoyed.

Adam had been glad Selina had at the very most- gotten Katie out of their way. She had barged in on their conversation and had gotten mad because Adam had only spoken his mind.He went back to the compartment and rested. It seemed Hogwarts was gonna be even tougher this year. He hoped Selina or Demitri would show up, just so he could talk about random things and take his mind off drama

Ara noticed the grinning and knew instantly that she was in a cool House. Very cool, she repeated the words in her head then smiled as she knew that Ravenclaw had to be a cool House too in having FINLAY there, and a Prefect at that. Woowwwww! There was a sense of pride that washed over him as he spoke of his House. "Is there a difference between the Houses because I really know nothing of the such about any of them?"

She noticed the compartment was empty as a sly grin crossed her lips. "Alone at last," she mumbled out as the crowds were seeming to become slightly annoying to her. She walked in and took a seat at the window, tilted her head slightly as her eyes cut back into his direction. "Would you like to have a seat," she smirked, patting the bench next to her as she crossed her legs in a lady-like way.

Demitri wandered about the train a little tiredly. He glanced at his watch and walked past a compartment - and saw Adam. He looked like he had something on his mind, maybe he could help?
"Hey," he said, sliding open the compartment door. "How have you been?" He asked, for having not seen his friend in a while.

Such a difference in the houses? Finlay watched her carefully, thinking about it. He could lie and say yes, but there really wasn't. "Not really..." He mused. Apart from the house cup most of the houses tended to get along. "I think mostly everyone is the same...." He didn't know how to explain it though? "But Gryffindors...." Yes. He didn't like Gryffindord that much. "Don't trust them." They only break your heart. But Ara was making him feel much much better hehe.

Mmm. She had mumbled something, but his didn't quite hear. He decided not to press it though, they had much better things that they could be doing. "Oh a seat would be great." He grinned at her, as he sat down next to her, and rested his feet on the seat opposite him. It was quite funny, because he had basically trapped her in, unless she wanted to climb over his leg. Oh. Perfect Finlay. He had not lost his touch at all.

Should Adam tell him?No. He had already explained it to Selina- if she wanted to, she could talk to Demitri about it.
"If Selina ever sounds mad or angry or stressed about a girl named Katie Star- it's my fault and I apologeize ahead of time.
You look tired, you alright? Or just sleepy?"Adam asked, trying to change the subject, he really didn't want to think about Katie, she was stressing him out even when they weren't together.
Adam had left her a long time ago, but Katie was still mopping- she was the one with the problems, Adam was avoiding her to get rid of the problem.

"Oh wow, that stinks." She agreed. "One extra year can't hurt anything though." Some of that stuff takes a while to learn too. Personally, she thought it could have been better for anybody in the long run.

Zoey listened as Ari explained how she'd had to wait to get to Hogwarts. Well, it really couldn't be that bad if she'd wanted to go so badly. Hmm, maybe she'd like it there after all?

She laughed lightly at Arienna's final comment. "Well that's good to hear from somebody that's been there for so long." That, at least, was reassuring.



She turned as another girl entered the compartment and asked about one of the free seats. "Nope." she replied, nudging it with her foot. "Go ahead." However, the fact that the girl had some kind of animal cage kind of freaked her out. It wasn't the idea of having an animal with them that scared her, no, it was more of not knowing what it was.

"Uhh, what is that?" Zoey questioned the girl, gesturing to the cage. It had better not be something poisonous.

Lexi rolled her eyes and giggled at Ivan. "There is nothing wrong with hanging out in and loving the library, Ivan!" she said. Really? Boys... why did they always think the library was so uncool? Sillyheads.

"That is hardly a secret, Ivan. Telling me something juicy... interesting... something," she said as she was squished against him. Laughing she said, "Are you trying to smoother me?"

Demitri tilted his head to one side a little, then straightened up and nodded. "I'll...do my best." This Katie Star person must be pretty bad...from what he knew, not much could upset Selina or Adam. Anyone who could, must be no good.
Lowering his voice, Demitri replied, "Ah, well...you know my condition...it takes it's toll." He hadn't been feeling well lately, but when his friend noticed his sluggishness, he sat up straighter and tried to seem more perky. He didn't want anyone worrying over him.
He ran a hand through his messy, blonde hair and glanced out the window. He could hardly believe the term was starting, and the thought made him jittery. Not seeing his sister lately also made him jumpy - he wondered where she was.

"So says you. I pride myself in being perceived as an underachiever," he said with a smirk. "It seperates me from Miles. Well so does about half a foot in height but considering everyone loves the little twerp and finds me to be the weakest link why not reinforce that a bit." He looked out the window stopping a sigh and then back at the pink pygmy puff in it's cage who seemed to me staring at him.

Looking at her he smiled and raised an eyebrow, "And if I am?" He smirked and gave her another squeeze before loosening his grip. "A secret...umm I've never had a girlfriend?" he said with a chuckle knowing that's not exactly what she meant either. "I have a slight fear of commitment," he muttered quietly not sure if she could hear or not or if he wanted her to hear or not. Well there was a secret. He was sure James just thought he didn't want to be a boyfriend.

Adam noticed Demitri glancing out the window, probably anxious to see what Hogwarts looked like.
"Anxious aren't you?
By the way, umm, this is odd, seeing as you have a twin, where's Ever Lily I only saw her once at Diagon Alley and then she disappeared and I haven't seen her on the train yet."Adam asked.
Now Ever was a cool, calm, collected Slytherin friend he liked to hang out with.
