Claire looked turned slightly so that she was facing the professor as she adressed the class. "EEEeeeekkk!" she yellped as she lost her ballance and fell over again. She lay on her stomach in the dirt as she listened to the Professor dismiss them. "Thank heavens", she whispered as she tried to blow the dirt out of her mouth. She only had one wing/arm to break her fall. Claire couldn't wait to leave the area so that she could get her arm back.

Scrambling around awkwardly she picked herself up, gathered her things with the one arm and tried to hobble away.
The weight of her bad didn't aid her in balancing whatsoever, in fact she found it almost impossible to get away.
"Thanks Professor", she said as she hobbled passed, tripping multiple times as she went.

There were yells and err.. neighs? but Cedric couldn't really deciphere what was happening around him. You could say he was pretty much lost in the moment... but who wouldn't be? Gah, he'd been made blind. It was nice his grip on Patroclus was tight as hard as knotted ropes or he would probably be stumbling, tripping.. who knows?

And then... YAY. It was over! Finally. The Hufflepuff Prefect's mirth oddly mixed with misery had finally come to an end. Well, really, it was solely, only his misery that had left him... for he was now able to see and his hearing sense was back to normal, and of course, he was just happy!

"This has been fun, yes, Patroclus?" Cedric asked his partner, quite rhetorically. Cedric traversed his gaze about and eventually fell upon their professor, who happened to be just near them. "Thanks for the great lesson, Professor."

Now, normally, Evelyn would have just brushed off that comment, but since she was in such an irritable mood, she took it personally. "Oh what, so now I'm deaf and can't hear anything?" HMM? Is that what you are saying Ms. Sensitive Ears?!

If only she had realized that the professor put a spell on them...

Pfft, the girl was being overdramatic! She did not have a death grip on her. Rolling her eyes, she was just about to tug the girl even further away from the forest when the Professor spoke about...not yelling.

"But I'm not yelling-EEP!" she was just about to whine really loudly back to the professor, when she felt something pull on her hair. And HARD.

ACK! OWWWWWWWW!

Having nothing to hold onto, the Slytherin tumbled over as Arya fell down, pulling the Slytherin along with her; the most possible painful way of course. Blinking as she lay on her side, mouth slightly open and face formed into an expression of hurt, she raised up a hand to touch her head where her hair was pulled. "What was that for?"

Bite back the rude comments! Got to...bite them back!

Class was over? The spell would be removed?

MWAHAHA!

Glancing over to the Professor, she continued to rub her head and was GOING to stand up when she realized...her leg was extremely tied to Arya's. UGH! Why did she have to create so many knots in the rope too!?

"Arya!" Yes, she was yelling, because she was angry and irritated and her nose burned after that sneeze. "Help me with the rope."

Ella was glad that Sierra confirmed that class was over. Because she was so focussed on one of her senses in particular, her ears were the least of her concerns. Thank Merlin it was over, though.

Her tail? But... that made like, zero sense at all. Bleh, whatever. "Oh, I see. Mine was... super smelling, I think." And she could still smell crup poop. Her one did make sense though, pigs can smell pretty well. That's why they had such huge snouts.

"Sure, sure." Ella said quickly. She was just desperate to get out of this class and back to normal. She linked arms with Sierra for support, then they waddled on over to the patch of grass. A few stumbles and grunts later, the pair were released from the class area and Ella sighed deeply. She could breathe/smell normally again! Right. Their legs. She bent down and untied her's and Sierra's legs.

Freedommmmm!

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Sierra. This is has been fun." Really? Had it been fun? Ella's face made a 'hmm' look, then she continued, "sorta. Anyway, guess I'll see you around?" Course she would, cos they were both Slytherins.

Mia continued to try and talk but all that kept coming out of her mouth was the sound of tinkling bells. She was trying not to panic but not being able to say anything was very disconcerting so she started gesturing wildly with her hands trying to get Jacob to understand what she was saying.

But apparently he had his own problems. One minute he was standing there staring at her and the next he was going down on all fours. So of course the moment he hit the ground so did Mia seeing how they were still tied to each other.

He couldn't feel his leg?

Who cares!! She couldn't talk.

She swatted him on the arm and started pointing to her throat and shaking her head. Then she pointed to the ropes and made a sawing motion with her hands. She wanted the ropes off!!!

Having sensitive ears seemed to make the young girl lose all patience with the older girl. Huffing, she glared at the girl. "I didn't SAY that, just that my hearing is MUCH better than yours.!" Obviously. OBVIOUSLY, her hearing was much better than the Slytherin's. Gah! Who was being sensitive now?

Yes. Finally the professor was telling everyone not to yell, but she was yelling too. AND Evelyn was yelling as well. Just. Freakin. Peachy.

Okay. So, Arya hadn't meant to grab onto Evelyn's hair, but she was already falling! It wasn't like she had time to chose what she would grab onto. Though maybe, MAYBE now she knew Arya's pain. Pfft. Not likely as her pain was temporary, while she could still hear every little sound.

Her expression and mixture of pain and fustration, she rubbed her ear, releasing the other girl's hair. "I didn't mean to grab you hair," wait. Why was she defending herself? "What was that fire about? It's your fault we fell." Totally her fault.



More yelling?!

Why couldn't she just tell everyone class was over in a calm voice?

Sigh.

At least class was over. She supposed she could take some comfort in that. But why was she looking at her like that? She wasn't going to attempt going into the forest.....now. She just wanted the hearing gone. And to not be tied to Evelyn anymore.

"I won't kill you to say please!" Or maybe it would, she didn't know. She did know that she was tired of the yelling, and the pain in her ears caused by the yelling which only caused her to yell.

If she didn't care about being tied to the girl, then she wouldn't have helped to untie them, but she was ready to have her leg back, so huffing she reached over to help untie the knots. "Who told you to make so many knots?"

Because that was SOOO much better!

Growling in frustration, which may have sound a bit inhuman (who knows! She was pretty livid as it was), Evelyn turned her gaze to Arya and glared. Pfft, the Hufflepuff's hearing wasn't better then hers. Obviously it wasn't. It was just that costume going to the girl's head and making her self conscious WHICH caused her to have better hearing at the moment since she just HAD to make sure no one was talking about it. Obviously.

It made sense.

trying to undo the knots, as Arya mentioned the fire and everything being her fault, the Slytherin gave a dramatic roll of her eyes. Hehe, it was totally wicked though. She breathed fire! Or sneezed it more likely. "My fault? Hellooo, I'm not the one that jumps a million feet at the smallest things."

Merlin, why did she make a ton of knots!? "Well if I'd known you were a sensitive PUFF who pulls on hair...I'd have tied the knots loose!" So she could get away from the girl faster. Heck! She'd not even partner up with her.

It definitely would kill her to say please too.

Was she GROWLING at her?! Arya stared at the girl, unphased by the glaring, mainly because she was distracted by the growling. Evelyn was so WEIRD, and bordering crazy. She probably didn't hear the growling either. Probably thought she was normal. Pffft.

Arya stoped what she was doing to focus all her attention of STARING in disbelief at Evelyn. "Smallest thing? SMALLEST? A person breathing FIRE, is not the smallest thing." Only dragons breathed fire, not weird Slytherin girls. She huffed a bit. "Maybe if you covered your mouth when you sneezed, I wouldn't have jumped in the air like that."

And Evelyn would have been set on fire. Which would have been laughable...unless some of it got on her. That wouldn't be funny at all.

It was a moment and a lot of huffing later before she started back up on untying the knots. How many knots did she think they needed for the race?! "I don't pull hair, and I'm NOT sensitive! I just have better hearing that you!" More huffing. "And I wouldn't have pulled your hair if you didn't decide to start breathing fire."

The teen probably would have apologized for the hair pulling if she wasn't so peeved off at Evelyn. Probably.

Well, they hadn't become better acquainted with that door, which was good. Though Saylen probably thought they were heading there on purpose. Well. She would just have to go on believing that. HA.

Jake had no IDEA what was happening, only that his insane energy rush, which had slowly wound down earlier, just suddenly stopped. As Salander flew off, Jake's legs got confused and unable to carry on with the speed and he stumbled straight over, gasping for air.

"That. Was. So. Cool."

They had ESCAPED Saylen! Of course, Jake's Huffie sports shirt was still in there... but he was willing to leave it and stay heeeeere, even if Saylen had forgotten... something. Hehe.

Why was she not helping with untying the knots?

"Oh for Merlin's sakes. Quite being so whiny." She couldn't stand it anymore! And the realization that she DID breathe fire, was finally settling into her mind. Holy smokes! No matter how cool it was, she...breathed...fire? And a spell was being canceled? Yea, she just realized that the professor really said that only moments ago.

Breaking out of her thoughts, she shook her head slightly before going back to untying the knots, cringing every time the Hufflepuff huffed. She huffed and puffed and blew the house down! Just about to open her mouth and shout tell Arya to help her with the knots since it'd go faster and Evelyn could be FREE of her, only then did the girl start up again with the knots. At least the huffing stopped.

Apparently the talking didn't. Oh please, if she decided to start breathing fire, she'd have decided that LOOOONG ago. "Don't pull hair...uh huh." she muttered, her attention mostly on the knots. Almost done. Just a few more.

Kicking her leg to help loosen the rope, she somehow managed to puuulllll her leg out from it, though resulted in her shoe being left behind. Whatever. At least she was free. "Thank MERLIN!" Jumping up to her feet, she slightly kicked nudged the rope closer to Arya as a large grin was plastered to her face while she picked up her shoe. FREEDOM!

STARE.

"I'm not whiny." And she so didn't whine when saying that. So didn't. Why was Evelyn acting like she didn't realize that she could breath fire? She was such a weirdo.

If Arya could untie the knots faster she would have, but her hearing. She couldn't ignore all the sounds around them. All the students working out their own problems, the cute little crup, and a myriad of other sounds. How crups focused on any one things was beyond her, but she would never ever yell at any of her dogs or crup ever again.

"That's right, I don't." And it was about time she had realized it. All Evelyn's wiggling wasn't helping her to untie faster, especially not when her leg popped out. Oh. Her leg was freeee!! Sure Evelyn had left her shoe, and she still had the rope around her ankle, but she wasn't connected to Evelyn anymore. A grin spread across her face. FINALLY!!

Shaking her foot, the rope fell off of her as well and she quickly hopped up and stole a glance at the forest and glanced at the professor. "See ya later, Professor Saylen. It was an, uh....interesting lesson." Um, yeah. Can we not do that with Evelyn again please?

The badger wasted no time in grabbing her belongings and getting out of the area so she could have normal hearing again. Though it wasn't without effort and self restraint to not find the sources of a lot of noises, and wasn't without a glance at Evelyn. Maybe she would apologize for her behavior later. MAYBE.

Patroclus had to keep his mouth shut.

It was the only way to stop him neighing.


But he had to help Cedric, so he decided he would speak quietly and quickly, to give the neighs less time to escape.

I've got you Cedric," he reassured his partner, "Not to worry" He shut his mouth quickly, as he felt a neigh coming on. As he started to walk, Patroclus realised he was experiencing a numbing feeling on his back, as if one of his wings had fallen asleep.....or off.

Then it clicked, Professor SmexySaylen had severed them, the topic of the lesson.....

However that made Patroclus quite sad, as it meant no more flying. And that wasnt the only sad thing; it seemed the lesson was over.

"Thanks for a Great Lesson Professor" Patroclus grinned at SmexyMexy, leading his friend out of the enchanted ring, "Come on Batman, nearly there"

Blind as a bat that boy was!

Cedric blundered forward as he was led by Patroclus from what must be the enchanted ring. Still blind, he dragged his shadow after him. Blind as he might be, however, his sharp hearing sense made him to be able to walk stably and to hear if there was anyone coming his way. Fortunately, no one seemed to be heading in his direction, if every any did then the boy feared there might be an immense collision.

Did he just call Cedric Batman? Heh. Of course he was Batman but he couldn't settle on a name he didn't come up with or that was pretty unoriginal to make it clearer. "Alright, Boy-with-neighs!" Cedric chuckled and then... he thought he made it out of the ring oh, finally... for he now retrieved his ability to see, to perceive. Great.

Naaw, who won this game? Where was the prize? Yes, the prize, most certainly! Professor... Whistle. Whistle.

"Allright." Emily was fine and...Nika was somewhat fine. Heh. But, they seemed fine enough to be able to get back to the castle. "You are welcome. See you next lesson." She smiled softly at the girls.

What.

Maya wasn't sure what the lion-boy had said, so she simply pointed towards the castle...incase he had missed her loud announcement. "That way, Mister Perevell." Point point point. "You'll be able to talk normally after you leave the area." Yes indeed.

Oh. Okay, Kurumi was somewhat coherent, si. "You're welcome, Miss Hollingberry." Atleast that's what Maya thought was the answer. Unless Kurumi had said something completely different.

As the young girl looked around, the Mexicana glanced towards the cottage to see if the Crup was there, sniffing the flowers again. But something green, which looked like it was floating towards a chair, caught her attention. That...was Walnut.

The Crup was trying to jump onto the chair, because it looked comfortable, but the green thing got him distracted. Stopping his motions, the puppy stood still and tilted his head to the side, wondering what that thing was. It was green. What was it used for?

Oh! Was it a new toy??
Feeling excited, the crup hurried towards the new toy, bouncing on his tiny paws and was soon jumping around it. A few barks were heard as it tried coaxing the green toy to play. PLAY!

Barking.
Ah, there he was. "Looks like he likes Walnut." Maya called out to Kurumi, a smile on her lips. Or maybe the Crup wanted to eat him. Hehe, no, hopefully not.

"You are welcome, Mister Trigwell." He liked the music? The first student to say that. "Lovely. It's Mexican." Incase he wanted to know. Hehe.

Loss of words, eh? "You are also welcome, Mister Smithson." Yes yes. "See you next class." Smirk.

Oh! "Good bye, Miss Kelley." Maya returned the smile, watching the young girl go.

"You are welcome, Miss Browne. See you next class." Hopefully. Hehe.

"See you next lesson, Miss Soler." Maya raised a hand in a sort of wave, "Good bye."

Having seen the young girl fall, Maya put a finger to her lips to keep them from widening in a smile. Poor girl. Or not. But, if she was to leave the lesson and get back to normal, she might need some help?
"Everything allright, Miss Greenwell?" Well...probably not. Though lying on the ground could be nice. "Need some help?" Hehe.

So...the loud thud that the Mexicana was expecting...wasn't heard, which made her a bit dissapointed. Looking back to the cottage, she could see no face indentations on the door, or any sign that someone was lying unconcious after slamming into a cottage. Hm.

Actually, she couldn't really see them. Where were those boys?

But, after those cheers... Oh, there they were. "I see you escaped the 'danger'." Maya sounded bored as she approached the two...students. "Don't leave town, you have an appointment in the detention hall." With a smirk and a looong stare...yep, that was it. Smirk and stare.

The sound of someone tripping was what made her look over to the girl, wondering just how long it would take for her to get out of the area and back to her normal self. Should Maya help?

Er. "Your welcome-" A grimace as the girl tripped again, "...Miss Black."

"Let me know if you need any help." Hm.

These Prefects.
A blind bat-boy and a fluttering prefect. Good combination. "You are welcome, Gentlemen." She gave them a small smile, "Well done today, see you both next lesson." Hehehe.

Oh...could they just... stop talking to eachother?
They were making Maya want to cast a silencing charm on them. And she totally would, but decided they had probably been experimented on enough for one day. Hehehe.

Interesting, ey? "Good bye, Miss Lovegoods. See you at the next lesson." She gave her a small smile, watching her flee go.

And Evelyn? She looked...happy. And shoeless. "Want me to glue the shoes onto your feet?" Okay, sure Maya was joking around with the girl now, but hopefully Evely would take it lightly.

Hehe.

Jamie turned and said very kindly, "I think you must be mistaken Professor. I am in fact a girl." She was pretty sure she was a girl. The long blonde hair, the big round eyes, the ear piercings, and ummm....the extra portions that are only bestowed upon girls proved that to her. That and her mum and dad was pretty sure she was a girl too. To make it all worse that was the SECOND time she was called a guy this term. Sigh.

Raven eyes circling look like he loves crawling, he want to say "Good day Professor, thanks for the wonderful lesson" but instead his tongue say this "Professor, night, fun"

Raven run toward the pathway going to castle, his mind is likely more clearer than in Creatures area, whhoo, he is just hungry again, not on the meet this time, for the pudding or something.

"Leave town?" Jake repeated, gasping for breath as he leant back on his hands and tentatively put his feet on the ground, slooooowly starting to stand. "Why would you think we would do such a thing?"

Jake glanced at Salander as he summoned his Huffie sports shirt back and began picking the feathers off. Maybe if they stayed and begged?

Kita was starting to feel a bit tired; which barely ever happened to her. Who knew that losing an ear and getting amazing hearing could do this much damage?

She felt Vashti grabbing her shoulder again and concentrated a bit more on where they were walking. But the more she concentrated the more noises reached her ear and the more her brain was fogging up from information overload. And to think she thought it would be cool to have amazing hearing. Kita felt Vashti tilt to one side and looked round at her, pulling the other way to help her regain balance again. No such luck.

Despite the fact that there were way too many noises around her, it was Vashti's scream, which ended up sounding like a high pitched deafening roar, that finally did it. Kita toppled to the ground after Vashti. The wind was knocked out of her but she still managed to groan over the shouts of the ants running around somewhere near her. Looking round at the girl still tied to her, she asked in a hoarse whisper, "Are you ok?"

Kita looked up at the Professor with a weird expression on her face. She was still tired but she managed to crack a small smile. It was a relief that class was over. She wouldn't be stuck with this great hearing and she could take off her dolphin costume. She still felt a slight pang. Despite all the weird things she had heard and the fact that she could hardly breathe, she had thoroughly enjoyed this lesson. She looked round at Vashti again and asked, "Do you need help?" It was silly really, it's not like Kita had a great balance at the moment.

"Thanks for the great lesson Professor," she said as she stood up and dusted herself down, "Bye!"

Smiling at the Professor as she called farewell, Patroclus directed Cedric to the no-magic zone, "Better Now?" the Lion asked of his fellow Prefect.

"Boy-with-neighs?" Patroclus laughed as they turned back towards the castle, "Where in heavens did that come from...." It's not like Patroclus had been neighing or anything, not at all!

It had been a great lesson, and Patroclus wasn't going to forget that feeling of flying in a long time.....perhaps he would head down to see Peiros later.

Was Professor Saylen making fun of her? Did she think students in wacky animal costumes falling down was funny?

Well it probably was, but Vashti wasn't amused. Not right now, at least.

"Yes, everything's fine," the Ravenclaw answered as she tried to at least raise herself up onto her elbows. "Help would be nice though. Mainly with my walking." Balance. She needed it back.

Oh wait, she was forgetting something else.

She turned her body so that she could reach the leg that was tied to Kita's and she quickly set to working on untying that awful rope. It certainly hadn't helped Vashti's balance issues.

"Yes, I'm alright," Vashti mumbled in reply, still working determinedly on the rope knot. And after several more seconds, success! "Aahh, finally," she sighed, moving her leg away from Kita's, relieved to be able to move it freely once more. Whether it would improve her current balance, she wasn't entirely sure. She wasn't outside the circle yet, but maybe it would work anyway?

She shifted some of her weight onto her arms as she tried to get her legs underneath her, and gradually she managed to stand, but she still felt like she was standing on a tightrope and would fall down either side once again.

Kita was offering help too? "If you can," Vashti answered, as Kita still didn't look one hundred percent steady yet. But if she thought she could help, Vashti wouldn't stop her. Maybe they could crawl to the outside of the circle together.

And then, once she'd reached the outside, Vashti would thank the professor for the lesson and that it had been fun - which it had. 'Cept for the falling down part. That wasn't much fun.

Effy almost stopped completely as her partner spoke. Ok, that was certainly an odd phasing. Well this was just great. Effy didn't have anything against the girl for speaking weird, but it wasn't exactly helpful to a blind person.

Then Effy remembered: her partner had been speaking properly a few minutes ago. Was this her partner's 'lost limb'? How rude would it be to ask that? Are you speaking strangely because of a spell or is this normal for you? Yupp, that was definitely too rude to say out loud. Ok then, Effy would just have to do her best to decode what her partner said.

'Effy you meet nice,' Effy was good at meeting people? She seemed nice? Well, at least it sounded positive.
'Karusa I'm' I'm Karusa? Her partner's name was Karusa? That sounded right.
"Now turn right' Easy enough.

"Umm ok. Right, turn right," Effy mumbled as she quickly turned right.

Not whiny, PFFFT!

Adjusting the hat on her head so it wouldn't fall off, since it was RUINED from it's perfect place when she was forcefully pulled down to earth from something other than gravity, Evelyn undid the zipper on her shoe/boot like thing and sat down on the ground once more, watching the Sensitive Puff leave the lesson.

Just about to put her black shoe back on, did she heard the professor.

Stare.

Was that supposed to be a joke?

"No." she replied, as if that were the obvious answer. Not taking any chances though, she quickly put her shoe back on and jumped up from the ground once more, swiftly moving to her bag. No chance on gluing her shoes to her feet if she was moving too quickly!

"Bye professor." Interesting lesson? No. A lesson she didn't want to do again? Well if she wasn't partnered with Arya, she MIGHT consider the lesson to be fun.

Maybe she could breath fire again before the spell wore off. MWAHA! She...she could try. And she did try until she left the area. Didn't work though unfortunately.

Ohhh wait Fee was right? Woahh freaky.Maybe COMC wasnt that bad. Actually the blonde was enjoying that lesson here."Well yes i can imagine some modifcations to be not so cool.It wouldnt be to my likening int their position either",the Slytherin explained. When the professor mentioned her legs the girl noticed something weird.Waaait why was one of her legs so wobbly?!Mhhh strange.."Umm they are good",she nodded,"but one is so wobbly and weak.Is that normal professor?"Not that she ws worried.Nooooo....

Oww... meany. hitting his arm. Not nice!

There was so much pointing... it made Jacobs head hurt, he didn't like it.

"Oh..." he said finally realizing what she was trying to tell him. "Well you could have just said-" Jacob stopped himself "Right, sorry"
And now she was pointing at the rope. Jacob trying reaching for it, they couldn't get up, especially since he 'lost' a leg. Alright, Jacob... You're a ravenclaw, think... THINK!

Oh right, magic. Duh! Stupid, Jacob.

He unholstered his new wand, and with a quick flick, the rope caught fire, and burned off. Luckily, the only thing that burned was the rope. He looked back a Mia, "Fires... only thing I'm good at." he sighed, and shook his head. He put his wand back in the holster, it was gonna take some used to. He liked his pockets better.

Jacob put his hands flat on the ground and pushed himself up, he wobbled for a minute before balancing himself on one leg.

He helped Mia up, and walked strainght out of the circle. One leg dragging behind him, it wasn't fun. He didn't evem feel like stopping to make sure that Mia was alright, he just wanted to get out as quickly as possible.

There was a strong possibility that Jacob will be faking a sickness to get out of the next lesson.

Her hands stopped their wild movements when he spoke and she gave him a withering look. Did he think she liked not being able to talk? And that she had to use her hands to converse with him?

Mia visbily flinched when Jacob pulled his wand out. What was he going to- Oh sweet Merlin! The boy was setting fire to them. She tried in vain to get away from him and the fire not realising that it wasn't actually buring her but just the ropes. Her mouth was opening and closing like a fish but the only sound that came out was those annoying little bells.

Fire was the only thing he was good at? Well she could say the same for herself but she usually set things on fire unintentionally.

Breathing a sigh of relief when the fire went out and the ropes fell off, Mia let Jacob help to her feet and it wasn't until they were out of the circle that she realised that she could talk again.

"What in Merlin's name were you thinking." She screeched at him and giving his arm another swat. "Fire!!! You used fire to get the ropes off!! What was wrong with using diffindo?" Mia shook her head and as she headed back to the castle. "Could have burnt us alive. And they say Ravenclaws are supposed to be smart..."
