"That is totally awesome! i cant wait till classes. i hope were in the same classes!" Serena said bouncing
"I can't wait to go. I've been wanting to attend Hogwarts since I was little. And with all of my older cousins going I've been itching to go. So tell me about yourself Serena."
Emmaleigh eagerly boarded the train looking for Brit. It was almost time for the trian to pull out, and she hadn't seen her bestie yet. She figured the girl had managed to get on with out being seen by either her or Michael. When she thought she saw Birt in a compartment, she hurried to open the door, "Brit!" she said enthuastically and ran inside, only to run into a rather large person. The impact caused the tiny second year to fall flat on her tail. "ow" she muttered looking up at the person.
*Gigglesnort*... Oh how the tables turned. That had to be one of the finniest thing she had seen and the year had just barely begun. She was even more happy to see Em more than she orginal was. "Hiya Em." she said reaching down and helping em up. And as if in an after thought. "Oh evan are you okay." she asked trying to hide her pleasure of the scene while half heartedly reaching out her hand to help the Prefect up.

Keeley was doodling pages full of her usual random rubbish when some bird landed on Aphrodite's head. She couldn't help it- the girl immediately burst into giggles. And her cat's immediate spazz attack just made the whole situation ever the more odd and hilarious.
Brushing back another super duper long brown braid, the girl held her hand out to the big 'ol bird, who seemed distressed by her cat's reaction.
Tay looked up at him and giggled cutely- "That would just be so... so amazing." she said honestly, leaning forward and holding onto his hand. She could imagine that whatever song he wrote for her would probably be the most beautiful thing she could ever hear.
She picked up some Pie and started to eat it- gees, this stuff was good, it really made her wonder why she'd been so put off by food at one point! "So... I was thinking. I wanted to take your Mum out shopping soon- obviously, next holiday or something? I'd love to spend more time with her, and it seems like a good way to do it!" Tay asked Draven, wondering what he'd think of the idea. Arabella was so, so lovely- she was so glad that her future in-laws were so nice to her!
"By the way. At Christmas- my Mum wants to throw us a proper engagement party." she said excitedly- smiling and sitting up in her seat. She knew there were a couple people not so keen on the fact she was even engaged- but she knew why they were worried. She just... wished people would understand how in love her and Draven are- they're just meant to be, soulmates! "Like, you can invite whoever, all the families will be there!" she told him.
They continued to eat some goodies and Tay mentioned she wanted to take his mother out shopping and too hang out a bit.
"I think she would like that Tay. She loves you obviously so anytime you can set aside for her would be great" he said to her smiling.
He listened to her tell him about the engagement party which excited him. Tay said he could invite anyone so he decided to tease Tay.
"So i can invite Sarah?" he said laughing and nudging her. She just narrowed her eyes at him and punched him.
"Im just kidding! I will invite some cool people and she isnt one of them".
He gave Tay a big hug and squeeze,
"So how do you think Tom is dealing with all this? He still hasnt talked to me since the announcement".

Tay nodded- "Good! Your mum is awesome, I can't wait to get to know her some more!"
"Eughh- don't even mention that girl's name. I hate her!" Tay said angrily, but with a little grin too. Sarah was annoying- and horrible. She smiled when Draven hugged her and then she heard what he said next.
"Hmm... well." she said, sighing. Tom really hadn't been best pleased about it- not that it had anything to do with him! He had a go about her being too young and irresponsible- and that he thought Draven would just dump her or something. "He seems to think you're just going to love me and leave me." she told him honestly, holding onto his hand and smiling up at him. "But, I think it's just the whole, over protective older brother thing- he's just not seeing straight." she said to him. She didn't want Draven worrying about all of that- she knew Tom liked Draven really, he just wasn't showing it all too well at the moment.

Gigglesnort.
Alice clicked her tongue and the raven flew back to her sholder and Alice leaned her head out of the compartment "I'm sorry about that, he's just curious." she said, then noticed how the girl was alone, int he hallway. "There's room in this compartment if you want to join, I'm alone after all. Percival doesn't mind cats at all." Alice giggled.
Tay nodded- "Good! Your mum is awesome, I can't wait to get to know her some more!"

"Well, im definitely going to love you, forever and ever!" he said smiling at her and giving her a kiss.
"But, im not going to leave you. I love you way too much and want to spend the rest of my life with you. Like i said, your my dreamgirl".
Draven sat for a few moments pondering who he would invite to the wedding. He wouldnt mind having it in Ashbourne as it would give it an old fashioned feel but he knew that Tay was his princess and wanted her to have as grand a wedding as she deserved. Once he saw her grandparents estate he would get with her and make a decision on where to have it. It was still to early right now and they had time.
She looked over at him as he played with his necklace that she gave him. It was a very cool gift and very edgy which fit his persona.

"Goodness knows how protective he's going to be of Hollie as she grows up!" Tay laughed- Hollie was her little princess, she'd always spoil her! Even when she had her own babies.
"I can't believe i'm actually going to be a big sister soon! I can't wait!" she said- at first she had been mad, but now she was so excited about her dad and Jen's baby.

Evan could tell that Brittany wasn't really in her mood to chat with him. Or hadn't really got over their first encounter. And he wasn't in the mood to make her feel better or anything, really. Even though being prefectness meant exactly that right now, that people's trust and all that jazz, he had to attend to that meeting, and be there on time. So he only wanted to come to his concluding remarks where he would ask a favour from her, when he felt something hit him. Turning, he was even more surprised to see a girl lying on the floor. He hadn't really felt that much effect, but the poor girl was clearly winded by the impact. Looking down like that, he could see why: he was strongly 1.80 tall, and she was just... a second year, since she was Brittany's friend.
"You alright?" he asked as he rubbed his back out of habit. Though he didn't bend down to help her, Brittany was already doing that. Then, noticing the door was open, he went over to close it, if no one else was coming, that is.

Grasping tight onto her wand she approached the older student. She would not be the first year who was pushed around by the older student. Making allies now would be her best option.
As she reached several feet away from the older student she tucked a strand of her deep auburn hair behind her ear and licked her light lips. Straightening her back she made her way to the prefect.
"Hello, I'm Selina Skylar. I was wondering if you could take the time to answer a question of mine?"
He saw a little girl coming towards him, and halted for her at the door as she seemed to have something to tell him. Why was she... holding onto her wand? He wasn't scary at all. Sure, he was quite tall compared to her, but with that badge on, he should be the person she came up for help. Putting all his curiosity aside though, he smiled at the girl calmingly as she came.
"Evan Cartwright, Slytherin prefect," he greeted the little red-head, although that last part was totally unnecessary since his badge was quite seeable. He mentioned it nevertheless, for her to calm down and drop that wand hopefully before someone got injured.

"Of course."
Selina caught the older prefects eyes travel to her hand. She had not even realized she was holding it. To relieve his suspicion Selina released her grip. Perhaps it was just reflex, her father had told her to always have her wand at the ready. But maybe having it at the ready at someone who was trying to assist her was not her brightest move.
Taking her hand from her wand she smoothly slid it into her pocket. "Hello there, Evan. I was just wondering about the length of the train ride. Do you know how much longer it will be?"
Honestly she had not meant to sound like a whinny first year. That was the one thing she avoided at all costs. She was not raised to be a complainer and she hoped that she was not portrayed as one. All of the waiting aboard the train though was growing on her nerves. The desire to step on the grounds and be sorted was eating away at her.
Large brown eyes squinted against the sunlight streaming through a particular compartment window. Eyelashes casting slight shadows on her face, Ivory turned away from the window and her musings and got back to the matter at hand.
Finding her best friend.
She'd gotten a little side tracked what with the prefect compartment and all but now it was time to find Arya again, so peering through many a compartment window Ivory continued her search.
Tay smiled and kissed him back. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you too baby. You are definately my dream guy!" she giggled, biting her lip and smiling at him. She saw him playing with the necklace she'd bought him- she loved it!

Draven laughed as she told him he had to be a bit...convincing with Tom. The way Tom looked at him sometimes was like he was going to give him the beatdown of his life. But Draven did admire Tom, the guy had his stuff together and was doing all he could to take care of his girlfriend Kayla and his kid Hollie. Draven was sure even at twenty that Tom was under a lot of stress to provide.
Although he figured Anna and Richard were supportive he could tell that as parents they wanted Tay and Tom to make a living for themselves as well and not have to rely on the family's money. In that respect he knew both Tom and Tay were responsible despite Tay's love for shopping. He also could tell that Tay had a very motherly instinct in her. He knew she would make a great wife and mother to their children. She loved Hollie and always wanted to be involved with her and was now excited for her father's and Jen's baby.
Draven pondered for a moment about how both of them had so many options as far as careers. Tay could be a model, a dancer, an Auror if she wished. Most certainly Richard could get her into the Ministry quite easily with his connections. As for himself, he wanted to keep learning the family legacy of forging. But he also loved playing and creating music and he too would consider being an Auror if he wanted.
He tried not too dwell too much, they were both young so they had plenty of time to decide what to do. He popped his earbuds back in and tapped his foot to the music that was playing. He started to lay against Tay and sort of pushed her into the corner by the window making her laugh. He finally relaxed a bit and laid his head on her lap listening to music and reading his magazine again.
"Yeah sometimes alone is good" she replied that was a dead subject to her so she decided to move on. They were niether alone right now so she felt no need to talk about it right at this moment. "What happened to your friend?" she asked. Then it came to the obvious question why I hadnt attended Hogwarts before last year. "I got my magic alittle late so I attended the New York Academy of Arts before I got accepted to Hogwarts. Im a dancer, Ive been dancing since I was six." She replied
"Ohh..definitly. Your going to enjoy it plus im almost done with it." She said openning the book and seeing what page she was on. seeing that she only had a few more pages to go she sat the book back down. She would finish it later.
"Yeah. So whats it for?" She asked If it was okay if she didnt want to talk about it Rene would be just fine.
What happened to him? She wasn't exactly too sure how to answer that question. "He's doing fine." Melanie replied, with a shrug. "Arts school? In New York? That's so cool. You must be really good... I can't dance to save my life." At least not well. "I used to live in New York too, when I was younger. Do you live there during the summer?" she asked curiously, thinking of her dad.
Melanie beamed. Yayyy. "Thanks! Don't worry about rushing." she replied cheerfully, adding the last part as she noticed the girl flipping through the pages.
"Oh umm... Quidditch Captain." Melanie answered her quickly, with a small, nervous smile. It felt awesome to finally tell someone, and she was proud of herself... Just uncertain of herself, as well. "There's usually a tournament between house teams, though last term, because of the Triwizard Tournament, quidditch was canceled. We'll have it again this year." she explained, remembering that the girl had transferred to Hogwarts during the previous term.
Normally Arya wasn't so easily distracted. At least not by Sabel and Kellen's conversation she wasn't, but the words 'head boy' and 'Kellen' in the same sentence, coupled with Sabel's tone had the girl turning to glance at Kellen and shiny new badge on his chest. When Sabel's words were proven correct by the badge, a grin split across her face and she didn't hesitate to wrap her arms around her other newly badged friend. "You ARE Head Boy!" Who would have guessed? Certainly not her. "Congrats Kellen!"
After giving Kellen two good squeezes (one for greeting and one for his shiny), she released the boy and turned her attention back to the other girl. "Thrift stores always have the coolest things." She wasn't a frequent shopper of thrift stores, but she loved going into them to see the interesting things they sold. Always different depending on her location.
So she wasn't new to the school, just to Arya. And probably Kellen and Sabel as well. "No, I don't know everyone." She conceded with a grin matching the girls. "Nice to meet you, Nai. I'm Arya." She pointed at her green-eyed friend. "That's Sabel, and this..." She playfully poked Kellen. "...Is Head Boy Kellen." That felt weird to say, but then again he was weird.
Taking a seat, she looked at the girl when Kellen asked about her house. Which one was she in? Surely not Hufflepuff.

If there wasn't someone else in their midst, he would have insisted Kellen give them the fill of the story right then and there, but ignoring the not so new, new girl wouldn't have been polite. Slipping onto the edge of one of the seats, he gave her a warm smile and another small wave. "Hi Nai. Nice to meet you." She didn't look like any Gryffie he had ever seen, but then again last year hadn't exactly been a clear series of events in his memory.

Doesn't Head Boy get like a list of all the students in school and their houses and all the bad things they've been known to do?" If he did she'd be making a very graceful exit right now. "But you couldn't possibly memorise all those names, unless you're that smart. Not saying you're not smart, you obviously are I mean, Head Boy." She wiggled her fingers in a celebratory manner "Yay, congratulations by the way, good luck I can help you keep an eye on a couple of kids you need to be watching," Excluding her "Can't be everywhere at once ya know." He wasn't exactly Multiply Man.. or something.
Woah word vomit. Time to shut up in front of the older kids. "What houses are you guys in?" She asked teetering back and forth, back and forth, she wasn't nervous. Nai never had time for nerves okay fine, maybe a little. Buuuuut they'd never know.
The hug was rather nice, despite it being from Weirdo Fry-in-Shake Dipper. The squeezes were just straight-up weird. Arya being Arya, he supposed, “Thanks. I’m honestly not completely sure what Tate was thinking, but there you have it.”
One thing was for sure; it felt strange as all get-out for someone to be using Head Boy before his name. It was a title. He had a title. To distract himself from this rather intimidating thought, he hogged a window seat and the space beside it.
Kellen had to laugh at Nai’s favouritism. “Nothing wrong with a little house pride. Misplaced as it may be,” the grin he sent her indicated he was joking. His stomach twisted more than a little at her suggestion of what his job involved, but he was comforted a little by the fact that a list of names hadn’t come with the badge. Unless, of course, Tate was planning on whapping him over the head with it when he came through the front doors of the school.
“I don’t think I’m so much supposed to keep tabs on old troublemakers as just make sure things are running smoothly in the halls…” Though he would be keeping a wary eye on a certain HuffleJock. That was a given, in his books, “So. No snogging in the halls, or I get to jinx your lips off.”
Another smile was sent Nai’s way, as he pointed first to himself, then Arya, then Sabel, “Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor. Have a seat; complete our house representation.”

She was always drifting into dreamland about thier future- thier honeymoon. Everything. She was such a daydreamer at times. She watched him read his magazine and put her hand over one of his. "All my friends are so excited that we're engaged! It's super sweet!" she said, smiling dreamily down at him and playing with a loose curl.
She leant down slightly to kiss his head. "Do you like cats? Or dogs?" she asked him curiously- "Because I was thinking about getting a kitten or puppy when we're older. And because it will be joint- I have to know what you'd want. I just love the idea of our future babies growing up with a pet or something" she said.

He looked up at her and smiled,
"Maybe one of each baby. I love cats but dogs are fine too".
Draven had always loved cats since he was young and was disappointed when they had to put down his cat Bastice. she was only 8 years old when they did it but she had gotten cancer and it was too risky to do surgery. But she was unable to eat and had become very thin which pained him to see. It was shortly after Sven's accident that they had to do that so it was not a very good year for Draven.
He held her hand as he thought about all the things that have happened to him in the last few months. He was very thankful that Tay bumped into him, it has already changed his life so much for the better and his love for her was strong.
Looking up from her Quidditch magazine Selina saw a young girl in the door of her compartment. Smiling she gestured to the girl to have a seat beside her. It was fine with her. Besides the girl seemed nice enough that she didn't mind sharing the compartment.
" 'Course. Have a seat. I'm Selina by the way."
"Oh! Another first year. Cool, I can't wait to met her. So tell me, what is sorting like?"
"The Sorting really isn't a big deal. He just sits on your head and looks at your personality, but it's your choices that really matter." Christopher shrugged and sat up straighter, hoping they were close to Hogwarts.

The blond boy got distracted again by the Em's voice and gave her a smile when she apologised. "'Tis fine," he said, and nodded when she said she was fine. Good. It would be such a failure if he managed to hurt someone on the first day of his official prefectness, even if it was only as an accident.

Returning his gaze back at the little red-head, he was obviously relieved when she removed her hand from her wand. No one wanted any kind of accident here with that wand in the hands of a firstie. Now more able to focus on her question, he said "Oh, it'll take the whole day. Hope you've brought something to entertain you," he said with a wink. Then, checking his watch, he figured it wouldn't hurt to chat with this young lady for a few more minutes.

He wasn't exactly Multiply Man.. or something.
Woah word vomit. Time to shut up in front of the older kids. "What houses are you guys in?" She asked teetering back and forth, back and forth, she wasn't nervous. Nai never had time for nerves okay fine, maybe a little. Buuuuut they'd never know.

Arya kicked her shoes off and pulled her legs into the seat, crossing them as she nodded her head in agreement with Sabel. "Always our friend first." Their very weird friend. A playful grin spread across her face. "And just to give you some sense of normality, I'll pretend as if the badge isn't even there."
She lightly shrugged her head at Kellen's statement. "Yeah well, Tate's a bit of a nutter." The headmaster had to be in her opinion, couldn't hold that position and not be. "But it wasn't a terrible pick, I'm sure you'll do fine." His choice in Kellen as head boy wasn't that nuts. Even if the boy was weird.
"Very misplaced in my opinion," she jested with a wide grin. "Hufflepuff is where its at." Very VERY biased she was. Arya could only giggle at Nai's mention of lists to Kellen. Somehow that seemed a bit much even for head boy. She giggled again at his mention of jinxing lips off, but made no comment.
He didn't have to worry about her doing any snogging. She was pretty sure he didn't have to worry about any of that from Sabel either given what he had expressed to her last term. Her eyes drifted to her friend, surprisingly a bit comforted by that knowledge.
To complete the circle of introductions, she first pointed at herself then the boys. "I'm a fourth year, they're both seventh years." Taking notice to the fact that Nai was the only one left standing, she nodded her head in agreement with Kellen. No need for the girl to be standing, it was a LONG train ride.

"maisie! you're here" she said giving her a hug "I'm sooo excited to get back to hogwarts, are you?"
"I can't wait to go. I've been wanting to attend Hogwarts since I was little. And with all of my older cousins going I've been itching to go. So tell me about yourself Serena."
Demitri, with a bag slung over his shoulder, made his way through the train all the way to the back. He slowed his pace a little to glance around to find someone he knew to sit with. He was about to find a compartment of his own when he saw Selina, and mentally breathed a sigh of relief. Safety travels in numbers, so he approached her. "Hi, how have you been?" he asked, before giving a small wave to the other person she was talking to. "I hope I'm not intruding?" he asked rather than stated.

Taking notice to the fact that Nai was the only one left standing, she nodded her head in agreement with Kellen. No need for the girl to be standing, it was a LONG train ride.
Chuckling, Sabel relaxed into the seat, idly watching the exchange of conversation between his friends and the newcomer. "Come now, be nice. Headmaster Tate is a sensible nutter. Probably picked Kellen because he's the only other sensible nutter within all of Hogwarts. They're rather hard to come by."
Shifting his weight a little, he spared a grin at Kellen as Nai rambled off about him being Head Boy and his possible responsibilities. It simply reminded him of how much they had all grown through the past few years. From a distance, he was sure Kellen was hard to peg as a responsible student, but being his friend he knew the boy's personality was quite the opposite, even if he was too aloof to admit it.
The mention of the jinx had Sabel tilting his head at the boy while attempting to avoid any eye contact with Arya as best as he could. Though they had worked things out and returned to the same page, the knowledge that she knew what he felt still had the affect of making things slightly awkward. Still, there was some amusement in the possibilities of Kellen's new rule and it was enough to provide a distraction from some of the memories of the previous year. "Guess Lexi's gonna need a new pair then." Because goodness knew how much she filled the halls with snogging before.
Resting his head back against the seat, he turned his attention to Nai and gave her another smile. She had already been welcomed to stay by Kellen, so he didn't see a need to repeat the offer. The more the merrier. And she seemed like a good, sensible girl. A pity then that she wasn't in any of their houses, but with Raiden graduated they were lacking in a Slytherin representative. "Don't worry, we're only as crazy as we sound."

Greingoth. That made the corners of Jake's mouth twitch as he recognised the name, but said nothing of it; he knew it sucked to be known by a last name. Well, it did to him and he believed that basically everyone thought the same.
The young man stuck out his hand and shook Alex's whilst Lolcat stretched out and eyed Jake with displeasure. "I'm Jake." Just Jake... it was easier that way. "You a transfer or something?"
Couldn't be a firstie... looked too old. Jake let go of Alex's hand and stroked Lolcat who instantly started purring.
"Nice to meet you," Alex replied with a smile. He fidgeted in his seat and observed the boy a bit more. He was definitely older than him, that was for sure. And was he imagining things, or did he smile slightly when he introduced himself?
Meh. Probably just his imagination.
He blushed yet again as he was mistaken for a transfer for the upteenth time today. Curse his height! Everyone was going to be so confused when he walked up to the sorting hat! "No, I'm a first year," he explained. Yeah, I'm tall, I know, he wanted to add, but decided against it.
"What year are you?" he asked.

Satine smiled at the familiar face and felt pretty proud of herself that she had made him smile even if she knew it was a forced one...that''s what she was good for smiles whether they were real of not...she smiled to herself.
"Nope not yet. I had one up front but the firsties were climbing the walls up there and I was going insane...." she said rolling her eyes again...
She glanced over Dal's shoulder to see a new face, "O sorry for being rude...it looks like we both ran into the same road block." she said glancing back at Dal for a second, "Howzit, I'm Satine, sixth year Ravvie." she said with pride as she glanced around for an empty compartment.
"Well, guys it looks like there's one to our right...so I say we jump inside and shut the door as quickly as we can so we don't get overwhelmed with newbies..." she said with a smile already heading towards the sliding glass door.
Dallin laughed lightly and nodded at her explanation for not having a compartment. Annoying first years. "So you want to hang around an annoying fourth year instead of an annoying first year?" he said, winking at her.
He slid his hands into his pockets and rocked back and forth on his feet as Satine talked to the little kid that had also run into him. He leaned against a compartment door, just barely catching the look Satine gave him. He chuckled, smiling down at the floor.
When she mentioned another compartment, he looked up to see the one she was pointing at. He started toward the door, but stopped when she mentioned being overwhelmed by newbies. He bit his lip as he opened the door, holding it for Satine and the boy if he wanted to join them. "You do realize that I'm a newbie, right?" He couldn't help himself; he had to point that out. He knew that Satine meant first years... but still. He smiled a bit, though. Hopefully she'd know he wasn't offended or anything.
