Small round tables seating no more than eight are scattered around the room. You'll be forced to sit with people from other houses, but that's a good thing!

He does tend to be a bit extreme." Rosalie added thoughtfully, then shrugged it off. It didn't matter any more.
"I'm so glad I won't have to be alone. I can't even imagine not sleeping in a room with a hundred other girls. I haven't been scared of anything but my father...ever....but I think I'm scared to leave Hogwarts." Rosalie told AJ sounding more shocked by that knowledge than truly scared.

Feeling inter-House friendly, Alanna made her way to the small tables with her food and drink. She found an empty table where she could eat in peace, but still hear the music.
The music was too loud for her to think about anything but dancing. There were plenty of dancing couples, but some single dancers as well. Alanna knew her dancing was horrendous, and she remembered her first year. There had been a Yule Ball then as well. Slytherin finally had the most House points. It was a perfect end to her seven years here.
Well, Alanna thought, I can't be any worse than I was first year. She got to her feet and moved towards the dance floor.

Jen walked over to the tables. Her heels were beginning to kill her, but she didn't want to let that bother her. She was happy in being here. All of a sudden, Jen got the chills, she wrapped her arms around her and sat down. 'So.. what's this bad news?' She asked, preparing herself.

"Well about 2 months ago Alies dad, my ex, wanted revenge on my parents for vanishing from the next dark lord. He tried to kill them but instead, he hurt my dad badly, critically, and then he killed... my..uh sister." he managed to say. "My dad was put into the hospital but they couldnt do anything about him. He died shortly after from enternal bleeding. I guess my mom went insane after that. She killed herself. Now im left alone. Family in France want to take me in but I dont wanna go. We are having a court trail the day we leave from here. If I loose, I stay with them. If I win, i get to stay at my mothers house. She left everything to me.' he looked at Jen. "well thats the news." he said shrugging. He knew it wasnt a good thing to cry. | |

Rosalie wasn't sitting far from Jayden. Naturally when she heard his voice, her ear perked towards it. How could she not listen in? It was Jayden. Even if she tried to block him out Alie knew it wouldn't work. It was Jayden.
When he said his father had died, her eyes windened, and moved from AJ, to the back of Jay's head. Why hadn't he told her that?! She felt horrible about her drama. About her timing at Ryder coming back into her life. Maybe she could have helped somehow...maybe....
For a moment she considered offering Jayden a room, just like she had AJ. After all there was a lot of room in that house. It would be pretty lonely even if she lived there with Mikaila and AJ both. It was still huge.
But no, this wasn't the time. She'd see him later, or on the train.
