"It's nice to meet you," Alanna said politely, "and make the most of your last two years. I sleepwalked through mine, and missed a lot." Jayden, she noticed, was considerate enough to not submit himself to the torture of watching her dance.

Alanna thought she had dealt smoothly with the first boy, so when the second boy grabbed her, her smoothness abruptly stopped. As she turned to face the next boy, a Ravenclaw she thought she recognized from her own year, Alanna became uncomfortably aware of how close they were standing.

"Do I know you?" she hissed, and her usual red cheeks returning. "I don't believe it is customary for random students to grab others they do not know."

Jayden turned to see another boy come up. His eyebrows furrowed. Maybe they knew each other he thought to himself. Just then he heard what Alanna said, "Do I know you?" So she didnt know her. He stepped up and put a hand on the boys shoulder. "Excuse me but that was rude." he said forcely.

Jeremiah inwardly sighed. Always the complications. Always. Honestly, people here were so uptight. "I beg pardon, but at dances I was under the impression that it was customary to pair up with other people on the dance floor." He spoke to the girl, but looked instead at the boy. "If I offended, I'm sorry." He backed slowly away from the girl and brushed the boy's hand off. "But, considering it is your last night here at Hogwarts, I think it might benefit you to..." Jeremiah trailed off for a few moments. "Let down your hair a little."

Jayden looked at the guy in disbelief. "Just cause its a dance doesnt mean she has to dance with you. Aint it customary to ask someone to dance?" he asked

Alanna frowned. This was strange. All her time at Hogwarts had been spent avoiding awkward situations like this. Here were two boys she'd never met (although she did remember hearing interesting stories about Jeremiah's conversations with some girls by the lake) and they seemed about to break out into a typical boys' war fueled by huge egos and girls standing nearby.

"Why don't you two introduce yourselves and dance together?" Alanna asked. "It seems like that would solve all your problems."

Jayden looked at the girl. "I was trying to help you out." he said. He shook his head. "At least I asked to dance. " he turned to walk away. "Have a nice last day" he said before walking away with his arms crossed on his torso. He couldnt believe some people.

Jeremiah snorted in amusement. Witty, this one. "Of course I would consider such a prospect, but with only this night left at the castle, I'd wish not to waste it." He raised his eyebrows. "You look familiar. Have I attended classes with you before? I'm Jeremiah Turner."

Turning to the boy's retreating back, he frowned. "I can't say the same for him, though happily or unhappily I'm not sure." Shrugging, Jeremiah looked back to the girl. "Assuming that I were to ask you to dance, you would most likely turn me down just like you did that incredibly obnoxious bloke. So I suppose this is farewell, seeing as there is no chance of seeing you after graduation."

And with those words, Jeremiah blended into the crowd and off the dance floor.

Becky looked and sw Jayden talking to some people and it seemed that it wasn't going very well. She walked over to him and smiled "well I'll dance with you if she doesn't"

Jayden shook his head at Becky. "I dont get some of you girls Becks. I just asked her to dance then stood up for her because that peice of work right there just walked up and started dancing with her. Then she turns around and tells me to dance with him." he shook his head once more. "dang.."

Eternal decided to whirl her unseelie faerie butt over and onto the dance floor. Even though Corvus wasn't here, she could at least dance. But she didn't have any friends here. Well oh well. She rolled her eyes and put her arms up in dancing position, as if she was dancing with an invisible partner.

She smiled and cocked her head to the side and danced with herself. She held a side of her black corset dress in her hand, her wrist black flower cuffs still sparkling from her enchantment, as well as her flower choker. She tipped her top hat so that it wasn't so tall, making sure her black make-up wasn't getting smeared.

And she danced with herself.

Becky tilted her head and looked at him "whoever said I understand how girls think? personally if some random person came up to me and started dancing with me which Derek and Dylan are perfect examples, though it wasn't dancing. I would probably ummm well I would push him off for one thing of course I don't dance in the first place but, since I yelled at you before I think I should like to redeem myself and since it is our last night here and I ay never see you again." She looked up at him slightly smiling. The thought of him possibly not being around next term lurking in the back of her mind.

"Still," Erin said, "I think it's pretty obvious that she likes you." She grinned, still moving to the music's beat. "Where'd Agie go, anyway?" Erin asked, realizing that the girl had never come down from the common room. "Did she decide to stay upstairs?" This surprised Erin a little.


"I really don't like heels," Erin admitted, glancing down at her bare feet. "But they looked so cute with the dress!" she giggled. "Guys are lucky," the Gryffindor pouted. "They don't have to worry about wearing heels."

The song with a good beat soon came to an end and instead, the band started playing a slow song. This made Erin a teensy bit uncomfortable; fast songs were definately more suited for her dancing style. She stopped moving at smiled sheepishly at Ryan. "Should we sit, or do you want to continue?" the girl asked.

Jen walked out to the ballroom and looked around for a good guy to dance with. She hadn't been at Hogwarts in a few months because of family matters and really missed the school. Finally deciding to come back, Jen realised it was too late. Now, she was already in her third year, and she missed many of her old friends. She wondered how they were and if she would see them tonight.
Jen was dressed in the most elegant of pink dresses, her long blonde hair done up nicely. It was good to be home.

Did Jeremiah's eyes deceive him, but was that who he thought it was?! No, you stupid fool, He told himself. Why would you even care. She cheated, you cheated. The relationship failed.

Jeremiah hadn't seen Eternal Love Snow since his fifth year at Hogwarts. After that fiasco in Hogsmeade involving a headless hat and that complete doofus Corvus, he'd simply stopped noticing her around the castle, in classes, in the Ravenclaw common room, etc. But now? Could it really be? Well it was his last night...

"Excuse me miss, but I believe that one afternoon a long time ago you may have given me a very special 'gift.' One I never fully got the chance to return." Jeremiah leant down and gently pressed a peck onto her unsuspecting mouth. He smiled as her eyes searched his face for the name she surely knew deep down.

"Well, I'm glad I finally returned that. There's a weight off my chest. Whew!" Jeremiah joked in the superior manner that never left his side.

Jayden laughed at BEcky. "I dont know yet Becks... I still got the court trial." he said he looked around. Seeing a familar face he hadnt seen in forever. HE grinned like crazy. "Hold that thought.. Im sorry BEcky. Someone I havent seen in a million years just showed up>" he said. "Ill be right back.

He ran over to Jen. He wrapped her in a hug without saying hello. He swung her around and laughed. "Hello! I havent seen you in forever."

Totally unaware as to what just happened her eyes fluttered open and saw the face of someone from her past. Oh goodness, she thought, he just kissed me. Well, might as well hex him for daring to do that to me.

"Excuse me, Jeremiah Turner, but you just rudely thought it necessary to do that to me? I am dancing with my partner, you were ever so rude." She frowned and wanted to smack him, but she didn't want to cause a scene. After all these years, he dared confront her like that. Pox on him.

She twirled herself with her partner, ignoring him. He should tell by her appearance that she isn't to be taken as a silly young lass she used to be.

Jen felt arms wrap around her and she turned around. She had to stiffle a shout. 'OHMYGOD!!!" She said, putting her arms around her friends kneck. "I haven't seen you in ages !! How are you? What have you been up to? How's the girlfriend statues?" She asked, unable to get her words all out all at once. She was SO happy to be home.

Jayden laughed. "So many questions!!!' he answered. He smiled. "Ok. But we got to dance and talk since this is a dance floor." he said smiling. He grabbed her hand and lifted it moving to the music. "So first answer.. IM good, could be better but thats another story. Second answer.. been up to? Hanging out with friends.." he said pointing to BEcky with his free hand. "Third answer.. girlfriend ststues? Huh?" he asked laughing. "I do have a girlfriend. We just started going out as a matter of fact. Names Jai. Remember her? Me and Alie broke up. She was in love with her ex. Longest relationship I had. What baout you?" he asked smiling.

Partner? Oh, Eternal was just playing another of her little games. Jeremiah recalled how fond she used to be of those. It was a quality of her's he'd always found very odd but beautifully unique and attractive.

"If you don't mind me saying so, Eternal, you've become even more feisty and," Jeremiah glanced at her arms draped in thin air. "Independant than I'd remembered." He cocked his head to one side. "But deep down I can tell you're very much the same." He straightened his neck. "So tell me. How have you been? How fares dear Corvus?" This last part he followed with a slight smirk only barely detective.

Becky smiled and nodded "that's fine. I'll be over here." SHe watched him walk over the the girl and EBcky made her way to the edge of the dance floor. She looked around and saw Jayden pointing towards her and h=she waved at him then went on to looking around.

Jen nodded with each answer and her smile grew. "Wow, You really have changed." She laughed, as he lead her to the dance floor. "Ooh yeah, I remember Jai, nice girl.' She said, looking thoughtful. "Well, I'm sorry I have been away so long. My mother got really sick so I was forced to stay at home. She died just a month ago.' Although at the time, Jen had been sad, she seemed to have gotten over the fact, and moved on. 'I've been travelling with my sister but decided I should come back, finish up you know. Had a couple boyfriends here and there, but none lasted too long. Actually, I just broke up with one guy. Turns out he was cheating on me.' She laughed. 'But, what can you do?' She asked, shrugging. 'You really have changed. You look a lot more.. mature.' She said, giving him a smile.

Jayden smiled. "Mature? Does it look good on me?" he asked with a laugh. "Im sorry about your mom and the idiot that cheated on you. Hes stupid." he said. He watched as she danced. "Hey your a pretty good dancer." he added. He didnt want to tell her abouthis family dying and him not might be going back to Hogwarts next year.

Eternal knew where his state of mind was going. Oh she is just playing her games, just like she did when she met him. Cause all she did was play games. Whatever, she just nodded and twirled again. She visioned she was dancing with Corvus, like the last time she saw him.

"Well you seem observant over me. And I have been independent, seeing as I have to rule a court of evil once this dance is over." She smirked and dipped herself in a curtsie and then twirled again like she was doing an old medieval dance. "I can tell you are still the same by being so into me right now." She noticed his smirk and she grinned wickedly.

"Well, we are faring wonderfully. He is in the french ministry and lives next door to my estate. I am doing my duties at the court alongside my cousin, Roiben. Planning a war, the usual. Going to kill as many seelie as I can."

"Aha." Jeremiah said simply in response to the truckload of information that she had dumped on him. "Well, I always knew your imagination would take you somewhere. Wreaking havoc seems like a worthwhile way to spend your efforts, though it wouldn't be one of my top choices. But to each their own, I suppose. I for one am going back home and assisting my father. He's planning on moving to Denmark and the manor is to be left in my control." With this piece of information, Jeremiah seemed to grow taller with pride. Taking over the family manor had always been his dream.

Ryan understand what she meant but just thinking about she could have more than friendly feeling for him was too funny. He could remember at one point her hatting him for been a bit flirticious with her big sister. So something must have happens for her to judge that she needed to do that. "You girls can be terribly complicated." Looking around them, he couldnt see Agie anywhere. She probably had stay back up on the common room but he knew that she was going to show up at some points. "I have no clue. Maybe she needs to on her own."

Laughing at her reason why she decided to put those thing was very girly. Never he would put something on it just because it looks good with the rest. First he had to feel comfortable or he wouldnt put it on. "I have to admit that those thing looks very dangerous. It must be a real challenge to walks."

He didnt mind dancing but the slow that was now playing was a bit too slow for his taste. When the girl offer him to go find somewhere to sit, he immediately jump on the offer. "Why not. I can see few peoples at our House table. Why not go there?"
