Eric blinked at the abrupt and matter of fact tone that Kiara spoke in as she traced the cover of the book. "I believe you." He murmured with a playful wink, not bothering to look at the book again. Books were a source of comfort for many and he figured that Kiara had just simply picked up the book and taken a seat here in this corner to ponder over whatever had been bothering her.

Raising an eyebrow as the playful Kiara that he knew so well began to emerge again, Eric shook his head, pouting cutely. "Convince you? My dear Kiara. I had no idea that I would have to do such a thing in order to have you protect me. I'm appalled." He teased, feigning a hurt expression.

Kiara finally beamed when she saw Eric wink. It seemed that the last time she had done that had been a hundred years ago. 'You'd better' She said with a small chuckle, not even caring if someone would kick them off the library for doing whatever they were doing and shouldn't be doing there.

Kia titled her head to the side once more as she heard his words. She had no idea why, but even hearing his voice say her name made her feel warmer. However, for as much as she wanted to keep beaming, she kept the innocent look on her face. 'Well, you know how these things are' She told him. 'Girls always stick together except they've got a really good reason why and since I understand Lua more than you probably wanted me to I guess you'll just have to make me think otherwise' She explained him.

Eric simply smiled as Kiara playfully threatened him. "Don't worry about that. I won't even say another word about it." Waving a hand across his forehead as though wiping a chalkboard, he blinked. "See. Memory erased." He teased, quite pleased with himself for bringing such a radiant smile to her face.

His gaze settled upon her face as she so innocently explained why she was deciding to remain on Lua's side until he could convince her otherwise. "Ah, I see how it is." He gave a heavy sigh. "Well....I suppose I could just tickle you mercilessly until you agree to help me." He finally spoke with a sly grin, reaching forward with wiggling fingers, his green eyes bright with laughter.

For the first time in days, Kiara chuckled as Eric fooled around with her. Remembering that she was in the Library and it was likely that someone would tell them to shut up, she placed a hand over her mouth so that she could hush the sound. Some moments later, once she had stopped laughing, she let her hand fall by her side, on the chair's arm. 'Alright then' She beamed, her eyes twinkling with pleasure. Yes, she had missed him indeed.

As the topic of their conversation changed once more, she widened her eyes a bit, looking at his fingers. She had never been able to control her laughter when tickled and so, she definitely did not think it was best to do that at the present moment. Nevertheless, Kia kept herself as serene as she could master. 'Well, before you do that though, I have to warn you that: 1, we're in the library and 2, I've got a feeling I'd want to join Lua's side even more' She told him. 'So you'd better reconsider'

Eric grinned as Kiara laughed yet again at his playfulness, watching her attempting to stop her laughter as she realized that she may be a bit too loud. Ah, the library was definitely not a good place to be at the moment. Perhaps they could take a walk outside or maybe even head out to Hogsmeade. Yes, that was certainly an idea.

Before he could make the suggestion, however, Kiara spoke, informing him of two reasons that he shouldn't tickle her, which were actually very good reasons. With a smirk, he nodded and stood up, extending his hand towards her. "Well, then, since that option is out, how about a trip to Hogsmeade? I know a great sweets place." He replied with a charming smile.

Kiara's eyes followed Eric as he stood up, her face now free of the smile she had held ever since he got there as a trace of the sad expression she had held for weeks got silently back. He couldn't possibly be thinking of leaving, could he? Not after all the time that had gone past and during which they hadn't been with each other. The same time that made her cry her soul out.

Thankfully she didn't have any need to say what had gone through her mind. As she heard his words, a beam crossed her lips once more. 'Hmm... I'm not sure if that would be enough to convince me but we'll see' She replied, taking his hands. At the touch of his hand, her smile widened a bit more while she got up. 'I just need to put this back on its place' She told him, pointing to the book she was holding.

Eric's face crinkled into an expression of confusion as he watched Kiara's smile slip away from her face at the moment that he stood. Unsure of the reason, he was on the verge of questioning her before she suddenly smiled yet again after he had asked her to Hogsmeade.

Chuckling a bit at her stubborness, he shook his head. "Ah, well, it doesn't hurt to try. Even if I don't convince you, I can still spend the afternoon with a beautiful girl." He assured her as he held her hand. "That's just fine. Where would you like to go first?"

Kiara's cheeks turned red as Eric complimented her. For the first time ever, she actually didn't mind it at all for this truely meant that she was indeed face to face with him. 'Oh alright, I give up' She chuckled, squeezing his hand gently, her green eyes on his.

She gave a few steps towards the place where she had taken the book from and placed it back on the shelf, still grabbing his hand. 'Good, I'm free of that book' She beamed, looking back at him. 'Hmm.. I don't know' She answered him truthfully. 'Perhaps we should decide once we get there? Except if you have an idea of course'

Eric grinned in triumph as Kiara conceded to him. "Good." He said smugly, smiling inwardly as he watched his girlfriend flush with pleasure at his compliment. She pulled away from him for a mere moment to set the book back upon the shelf and he chuckled at her relief. "Alright then. That sounds perfectly fine to me. We'll decide when we get there. We can go to all of the shops if we want to since we have all afternoon, though."

Smiling, he guided her gently through the library and out of the double doors to the corridor.

Jolie yawned and curled up in the library seating areas with her History of Magic textbook. Normally she was an excellent student but today she found her concentration slipping.. and Jolie was unsure why. Of course it could be due to how her mind kept wandering off to picture that certain someone whom she missed dearly and yet had hurt her so much..

Hayden bounced into the library and picked outh a book that looked interesting. 101 Muggle Names Worth Knowing. After flipping through the book to see if it really would be interesting he settled down in a cozy seat in the library seating area.

Once he'd sat down he thought that it was a rather bumpy place to seat only to discover that he had accidentally sat on Jolie Farr. "Oh Hello there" He said standing up quickly. "It seems we're always bumping into each other." He chuckled.

Jolie blinked as someone rather older looker than herself actually sat on her. "Umm?" She asked, as he stood up and turned around. Jolie's face relaxed though when she realized it was only Hayden. "Oh - hello Hayden." She greeted him before laughing slightly. "Indeed." Jolie agreed.

Hayden sat down again, this time sitting next to Jolie, not on her. "So having a good day Jolie?" He said in a rather loud whisper. They were, after all, still in a library.

Hayden cracked open the book but didn't start reading.

Jolie shrugged. "It was.." She hesitated, "allright. Yours?" Jolie asked kindly, leafing through the pages of her own book but not really reading it.

Blair sat in one of the chairs and began looking through a book to take her mind of things.

Diabolica walked into the library seating areas and saw Dani. She shook her head and sighed. Dani still didn't notice that he couldn't be the son of the Dark Lord. She thought about putting a 'Curse Me' sign on his back, but decided that was too childish. She'd get him back another way.....

Dani turned aroud "dont even try"dani said

"Ah, you've learned Legilimency, have you?" Diabolica hissed slyly. "If you have, you should know full well that I was going to try, but I decided not to. The little details....." she smirked. "And even if I did, what would you do to me? Threaten me with another Unforgivable? You know you aren't allowed at school, Dani....and if you did...I would have to report you. Don't make Slytherin lose points, Dani...."

*Madame Rowena walks past Diabolica and Dani*

"Is everything alright here? because if is isn't, I suggest you leave the library," she says in a stern manner.

Diabolica turned to Madame Rowena quickly and glared at Dani. "No, Professor, just old friends...having a friendly chat......" she said, smiling.

Katie grabbed another book. She couldnt decide which one to read. Katie overheard the convo that dani and diabolica were having and wondered what it was about. Katie didnt want to be nosy so she didnt bother in asking. she continued reading...

Evangeline walked into the library, her book bag slung around her shoulder. She brushed her dark hair away from her eyes and sat down quietly in one of the many soft chairs. Evangeline tucked her feet under her and flipped through the pages of her book until she found her spot.

Sarah walked into the Library area. Shequickly got out her book so she looked like she was occupied.She actually wastrying to hide fromthe crowd. She spooted the black haired Slytherin. Sasrah grinned. It was always nice talking to her. Hey there Eva.."Sarah called.
