| | |  Charms: Lesson #1
The classroom is divided into two sections. One is a large area in which you will practice more advanced charms and the second is two banks of bench desks that face each other. The practice area is lined with cabinets and shelves. You see cushions, books, and other objects that are used in the course of mastering Charms for the OWL and NEWT exams. The desks look as old as Hogwarts and they are. You are standing in the very first classroom of this school. It is old and there is power that lingers in this space from every student who has entered here. The wood of the desks bear many scuffs, pits, even cravings. There are hole to hold your ink wells and a slot to lay down your quill.
You stop and look down the aisle the desks form to see the new Charms Professor. His robe and cloak are deep navy. He is seated at the ancient teacher's desk, his head bent over books and parchments. He looks up and see you, then he stands. He is a very tall wizard and he turns to write on the board behind his desk. You realize he is almost ready to begin and quickly take a seat. Ion entered the room as quietly as he could, the sound of his steps on the floor quickly announced his arrival. The sound carried on with a short echo due to the emptiness, there were few students in the room which meant that he could finally choose a seat he likes. He sat the closest to the wall on the middle of them room, he hoped someone tall wouldn't block his perfect view of the Professor, even if someone did he still had the beautiful view of the Hogwart grounds.

Surprised that she was one of the first students to arrive, Tia slid into the Charms classroom for her first charms lesson, that term. She sat down in the front row, as always, and slipped out a roll of parchment, along with an inkpot, and several, handy quills. She sat up straight, waiting for the class to begin. | |

Neva opens the classroom door with a small creak. She peeked inside to see if anybody else was in the room. She noticed the professor and a few students.
She walked into the classroom and greeted the professor. "Hello sir! I'm looking forward to todays lesson" She simpered. She turned on her heel and said hello to the others before finding a seat at the back of the room. She found one by the window, overlooking the lake. Neva placed her notebook, purple quill and textbook onto the desk and relaxed in her seat, taking in the scenery.

Linda entered the classroom. She was happy to be one of the first in the lesson and saw only one Griffindor in the room. She said hello to the Professor thinking it best to be polite. She sat down next to Tia looking quite like a first year.

Tia smiled warmly at the girl who had just sat down next to her, glad to see more students in the classroom. She re-arranged her belongings, some of which were almost falling from her desk, and made a grab for her quill as it almost rolled off the desk.

The only other thing Bucky was as bad at as Transfiguration was Charms but it didn't mean she wasn't going to at least try and improve. Although, the chances of improvement seemed slim seeing as she had improved at a turtle's pace for the past four terms she had spent at Hogwarts. Heaving a sigh as she entered she glanced at the Professor with a heavy heart. He would know immediately she was incompetent. Hopefully, he wouldn't think of her as almost being a squib.
Choosing a desk, she sat down and instantaneously began to rummage through her school bag, pulling out and ink bottle and placing it carefully on the ancient desk along with a rather old looking quill and a piece of parchment. Frowning at a carving on the desk she ran her hands over the name permanently written on the wood.
Alabaster. What kind of name was that? Then again, what kind of name was Bucky? Picking up her quill she quickly jotted down the date on the top right corner of her parchment and scribbled something about doom being upon her in five minutes only to absentmindedly scratch her chin with the feather of her quill. | |

Sini walked into the Charms room for the first time to see that her classmates were already gathering for class. She could not wait to see what they would be learning today. She anxiously looked around for a place to sit, and spied several Gryffindor's gathering together and decided to take a seat near the rest of her house mates.
She sat down and studied the room for a little while before pulling out her quill and parchment. Then she sat waiting for the Professor to begin class, happily waiting what was sure to be a wonderful afternoon. | |

Bored and slightly sleepy, Neva began humming a tune to try and keep herself awake. She started playing the game of humming a different tune to whatever she saw outside.
