Professor Branxton unlocked the door to one of the potions classrooms and stepped inside, leaving the door open for students. He was generally early for his classes and arrived before the students began to queue up outside of the door. He found it much more relaxing this way. He wrote his name on the chalkboard as well as the title for the lesson.

Alicia raised her hand "Well, we can use potions for creating the detergent, and special, fast-removing immediate non-stain detergents, cleaners and oils" She tried to guess, but she thought it was useless.

"Five points from Slytherin PrettyGinny for being late. I do not allow tardiness in my class," Professor Branxton said as one of his own house has the audacity to come in late and announce it for everyone to hear in the middle of his lesson. "And yes, there were quite a few of you with some excellent answers. For those in the magical community who are unable to use magic, whether they be squibs or underage wizards or someone who has been incapacitated in some way, magical cleaning solutions, especially pre-made ones, are of extreme value. And there are certain stains or messes which cannot be cleaned up with charms alone, as well as objects which you would not want to use cleaning charms on. Two points to all of those who answered with these brilliant suggestions.

"Now, are there any questions about magical cleaning solutions that I can answer for you? Please do not be shy, I know that many of you are muggleborn and therefore unfamiliar with the topic."

Mia sat for a moment thinking about everything the proffesor had said, at the question name some cleaning posions Mia reallty wanted to say Fiary but that of course is a cleaning solution her mother uses to wash dishes and it was of course not a potion. she made a last note about how potions were usfull for squibs etc, she couldn't think of a question though. She was also greatful it was not a Griffindoor who had been late.

Cassandra shot an stare to the late Slytherin. Couldn't he just sneak in and pretend he'd been here? Now the two points she had gained for Slythering were null and void by the five the boy had lost!

Cassandra looked to her head of house. Hoping she could answer his next question.

Lee raised his hand up, it appeared he was the only one to want a question answered."Professor Branxton," he began , "Does magical cleaning potions fight tough stains on robes or your hat or whatever else."

"... and would you say potions are better to clean up muggle-made messes better than their own products?"

"There are magical cleaning solutions for just about every possible task, Mr. Andrez," Professor Branxton answered. "As to your second question, I cannot honestly say that I know. Perhaps that is something to discuss with Professor Light, the muggle studies professor. Or, we might be able to do some experimenting next class if I can procure some muggle cleaning agents."

Mia saw a look from a hufflepuff boy who was looking around at people who had question.you can tell alot from a look and Mia could tell the boy was annoyed at somthing, maybe the fact people were askin questions Mia though but that was a really silly reason to be annoyed thought Mia.

"Like Fairy liquid Professor" said Mia slighly loader than she intended, she realised it was a silly thing to shout out and went slightly pink

As Shane was from a rich, pure-blood household, and had many house-elves to do the cleaning, he wondered aloud, "What objects would you not want to use cleaning charms on?" and automatically put his hand up as he said it.

Davina scribbled down everything that sounded like it could come up in a test and continued to wait for the professor to speak,all the while racking her brain to see if she had anything she wanted to ask.

Mia was half and half so knew a little about both muggle and magical cleaning products but her mum used charms mostly so she didn't really knw any potions, she jotted some down people had sed.

Mia couldn't belive Davina had just told the whole class she had wee on her robes let alone used the word pee, she surpressed a giggle and waited for the professor to anwser the questions.

Shane stifled a cackle, and tried to make it sound like a cough, but still wanted to know the answer to Davina's question. So he grabbed his quill and stared intently at the Professor.

"They don't work proffesor, i tried to get a pollyjuice potion of my very best pair of trousors once with bleach but my trousors suddenly had a massive hole were i tried to scrub the stain, it was like I had used acid or somthing"

Tia raised her hand, unsure whether to ask what was on her mind or not. It was a very simple question, on one hand, but on the other, one that often intrigued her. She frowned, before saying, “Professor, I’ve noticed that some wizards – and witches, of course – use certain potions to as cleaning solutions when they can use just as effective spells to clear up a mess – Which would also be much easier. Why is that so?” She lowered her hand, nodding to herself, a quill poised over the surface of yellowish parchment, ready to write down the Professor’s answer.
