Located at 275 Diagon Alley, Madam Primpernelle's Beautifying Potions seeks to aid the everyday witch or wizard in maintaining or improving her or his physical appearance. With skincare products that remove warts, acne and worse, and hair care potions that will make one's locks luxurious and glossy, this shop should be the first stop on any image-conscious witch or wizard's visit to Diagon Alley!
As you proceed inside the store you notice that it is divided into two parts. To the right, you will encounter aisles filled with Beauty Care Potions to treat all of your beauty problems, including warts, pimples, dry skin, sunburn, and many more. To the left of the store, you will find aisles filled with Beauty Enhancement Potions, potions that have been designed to help you look your best. They range from simple products, such as hair colour changing potions and teeth whitening potions, to much more dangerous potions that can help you become thinner and younger looking. The shelves are filled with bottles, flasks, and containers of different shapes, sizes, and colours.
The counter is located in the middle of the store. It is decorated with small flower arrangements, a glass bowl filled with bonbons, business cards with the store's contact information, a few magazines (including Witch Weekly and Rumours!), small brochures and pamphlets with coupons and special deals, and small flasks of fragrance samples. If you have any questions about a product, can't find a certain potion, or are in dire need of immediate magical help for your beauty problems the shopkeeper will be more than happy to help you.

Odaline took a deep breath as she walked back into the store she had just ran back out of. Her parents were letting her and Ingrid go into a store of their choice on their own... for a test. If they successfully came out with an item or more, then they'd be able to do this more frequently. But Odaline did not want to, and that was why she had walked out the first time. Except.. she was off to Hogwarts in September and so she needed to be better than this. Like Ingrid was.
Because she hadn't came outside yet. So she was clearly doing her shopping in the sweet store and being successful.
As Odaline walked along an aisle, she touched the labels on the shelves and whispered 'you're okay, you're okay, you're okay' to herself.

Okay, so that probably drew attention to her face in ways she didn't want, but seriously, she could FEEL it there. Even if it was barely noticeable, in the crevice on the side of nose. Small too and almost blended in with her skin, but the twelve year old KNEW it was there.
OH NO. Person. Who hopefully wouldn't notice the fact that her face looked like a mask. At least it was a person who wouldn't know her and wouldn't judge her, RIGHT???

Josh didn’t say anything either of them.
He just went on down to stop in front of the men’s lieu line of products for beard trimming since he needed a new razor. Joshua’s eyes were moments later drawn towards the label that he read out loud as "Grow your own mustache kit..Would i look more dashing if i added on a mustache too?" he asked himself as he looked at the prize.

She felt sick at the thought of using all these things to change something about herself.
This store was STUPID.
But she couldn't leave without something for herself.
But she didn't want to pay for anything. She didn't want to fund this complete rubbish that was blah blah beautifying potions. Who even was Madam Primandpropernelle? "Stupid stupid stupid." She muttered, following another girl into another aisle.

What was worse than family knowing you had your first sign of hormonal changes? A professor knowing! Although Professor Wishart was about the most gentle soul out there and Carsyn douted that he would be gossiping this news but it was FOREVER weird still seeing him outside of Hogwarts even if she'd only known him a year. She was going to ignore her aunts recent news to her and Carys because she'd known her all her life and besides, maybe it would help guarantee her a spot as Gryffindor Seeker

Odaline was overwhelmed. There were too many people in this shop and all of their personal scents mixed with these product scents were making her stomach a little bit wobbly. She hadn't expected to be heard when talking to herself, but apparently she was and with a glare, Odaline was now looking at the girl addressing her. "If the shoe fits." If she wasn't stupid, then why would she be so bothered by the one word she had overheard?
Scents. Too many of them. Her nose twitched as she looked across to the other side of the aisle. "Far from dashing." Which was something she had heard Mother tell Father when he tested a new part on his hair.

Browsing among the wares in the men’s aisle and letting the scents of the shop surround him Joshua overheard some girls talking in the adjacent aisle. He was not a cologne type of guy he deliberated with himself but maybe Joshua might need to try out one with his added duties at hogwarts this year. Who knows what scents he’d pick up after a day working on the grounds? He didn’t want to scare off his meal mates up on the staff dais for smelling like a dead rat.
It was then that he heard fragments from the girl’s chatting neardy 'Who you calling stupid?' 'If the shoe fits.' Joshua shook his head and left the men’s aisle to cross over to the girl’s with a cologne bottle in one hand and a magical razor pack in the other as he took in the scene where Carys no, Carsyn that he recognized from Hogwarts was talking to an unknown girl. Looking from one girl to the other he asked quitely. "Is everything all right here Carsyn? You shouldn’t be calling each other stupid, it’s not very nice."

Whoooo was this girl and honestly, Carsyn truly wished she could channel her sister right about now and ignoring the girl. Sure she was no ravenclaw, but she didn't think she was an idiot either.
And then the Herbology professor came over and seemed to reprimand her and Carsyn felt her blood boiling. "She started it!" Carsyn pointed her finger at the other girl, not even caring about mannerisms at this point. And not even caring to comment about anything else that was said. All that needed to be known is that she was innocent over here.

Ursula raised an eyebrow in interest as Annie revealed that she co-owned her own fashion studio. "That sounds really amazing! I might have to check out your designs when I can."
"I look forward to our date. I'm sure that wherever it is that we'll have a fantastic time." Ursula said as she grabbed the items that she had come into the shop to buy prior to meeting such a beautiful woman.
While Aparna wasn't exactly what one would call an image-conscious witch, but the beauty store had caught her eye. Mainly just simple curiosity. What would a salon in Britain carry? It was with this thought in mind that she entered the store.
At once she noticed the division between care and enhancement potions, with one being on one side and the other on the opposite side. That was convenient. She headed towards the enhancement side first, with the intention of making her way around to the other side.
Eniola entered the shop and looked around feeling a little lost and frustrated. She had had it with her hair! She loves her big curls and couldn’t be prouder, but there are times when a girl just wants to change it up. Straightening it the muggle way takes so long and it’s starting to damage her hair. She can’t do it anymore. So Eniola took the leap down from her pride and walked into the shop she’d been avoiding for so many years. With a sigh of resignation she walked over to the care section not knowing what to expect. Could anything ever tame her big hair?
