Hello everyone!
I hope you enjoyed our winter theme during our Snowy Days event. We reverted the default skin back to the ole standby: Deathly Hallows, but if you really loved that winter skin please feel free to change yours back! We have a small selection of skins and you are not required to use any one in particular (and you can change every day or every minute or whatever
).
For those who don't know there are two ways to change your skin (a skin, by the way, is the color/image scheme for the site):
1. Scroll to the very bottom of any page and look to your left. You'll see a pull-down menu. The current skin you are using will be displayed in that box (the current default is "New Deathly Hallows") and all you have to do is click on the down arrow to get a list of all available skins. Click on the skin you want and the page will refresh, revealing the skin of your choice.
2. Click on "User CP" at the top of any page. Then, go to "Edit Options". Scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options" and the second option should be "Forum Skin". Use that menu to choose whether you want to use the forum default (which is the default setting and will make the skin whatever we decide to make default) or any of the other specific skins. Click "Save Changes" at the very bottom of that page and you're all set!
Please note that if you change your skin to something other than "Use forum default" you will not experience some of the fun things we sometimes do to the default skin for various events or just to be random. Usually we only make changes to the default skin and not to any of the others.
We hope to provide more skin options in the future, but in the meantime, please enjoy those we do have!
