Down the long corridor to the left are the girls' dorm rooms. Torches light the way allowing you to see the many portraits of Slytherin alumni lining the walls. You'll want to be careful what you say or do here as these portraits aren't here just for the decor. There is a dorm room for each year of the house. Students, you will find many four poster beds, all draped with green curtains. Be sure to stake your claim on the bed you want before someone else gets to it first.
Be aware, this Dorm is for Slytherin GIRLS ONLY. Each room has a charm placed on it that will alert on any presence of boys. Consider this your final warning. Any boys caught trying to get in here WILL face the wrath of Mister McLeod.

Mason gave a little groan as her nose hit the mattress. Honestly, she was WAY too tired to even care about the pain. They'd only been back at Hogwarts for a week and she was already tired. All she wanted to do was pull the curtains of her four-poster shut and sleep. But Blacktrix wasn't as inclined to let Mason get her beauty-sleep. No, the cat had decided to come and rub her furry face against Mason's arm.
She raised her head and stared into the cat's mismatched eyes. She had been a gift from her parents, 'We're having a baby! Here's a cat to help you cope with our awful decisions!'
Mason lowered her head again and turned it to the side, eyes darting towards the other beds. She never really saw the Olyvia/Alyvie-girl around much and there were only four of them in this room. Meh, maybe one day the girl would show her face.
As for the other two, she only really saw Aria and Olaf at lessons. And obviously at night, but most of the time she was too tired to really converse with them.
Mason gave another groan and buried her face back into the mattress, Blacktrix meowing in slight protest. |

Of course she wasn't roomed with Vivi or Felix! The only ones she had met...
Kye sighed as she sat on her bed. She looked around her Dormitory at the other beds and the decorations surrounding each of them. Kye's was still quite plain, as she didn't know what to put out. She didn't have a favorite Quidditch team, she didn't care photos around of her family...
For now, she took out a brand new journal and simply titled it, Hogwarts Year One
She opened it to the first page and decided tow rite down her experiences thus far. She wrote about meeting Ariadne and Vivian in Flourish and Blotts, who she met on the Hogwarts Express, and everyone loving Edie. She wrote about the Feast, the kid that threw up, meeting the Prefect, Dot, and her lessons thus far.
She paused to crack her knuckles, and again looked around the room. She hoped she would get along with people. She needed to stop being so quiet and make some friends!
She continued her novella. | |

Niomi arrived at her room, which was quiet and lonely. Carrying her books, she dropped them on her bed, not caring. They bounced a little, and then landed. Niomi planned to not touched them for a while. She was in one of her moods of not being interested in studying and doing homework.
Next, she took her robe off and sat it next to her school books. All of a sudden, she dropped to the ground, to look under her bed. Her blue eyes searched for a fluffy furry animal, her cat, Mittens. Mittens was a black cat, with white paws. The white on her paws looked like mittens, hence the reason the beauty cat was named Mittens. Niomi moved a box, and behind it sat Mittens, squinting her eyes. She looked tired. "Come here," Niomi said, reaching under the bed, grabbing Mittens. Once Mittens was in her hands, she pulled her out of under the bed, got off the floor, and sat on the bed.
It was really quiet in the room, she was hoping someone would join her soon. Niomi would love to make new friends. New friends that she can have for a long time. Without good friends, Hogwarts was lonely.

Just because Hady had dropped a few lessons mid-term didn't mean she couldn't participate in the activities. Like the Astronomy one. All that it required was 'looking' after a meteorite and keeping a small log of what she did with it throughout term. Not a problem at all seeing as she was already the owner of three Pet Rocks. She when she heard about this of course she swung by the classroom when she had time and picked herself up a new friend to look after.
With her 'meteorite' now dubbed Rubble in tow the sixth year made her way straight for her dorm. The new addition to her rock family needed a face before it could do anything else. And as luck had it her dorm was currently empty. Setting Rubble down on the center of her bed she went to her trunk and pulled out a bin which held her art supplies. Selecting a black marker she went ahead and made a mouth and then a nose. For it's eyes she used the 'sticking charm' to keep some cute googly eyes in place. A bit of rainbow yarn was also stuck to the top of it's 'head' for some hair.
Now that Rubble had a look it was time to meet the others. Hady reached over and collected Elvis, Flint and Nephrite from her nightstand. Putting them down on the bed she went about 'introducing' them all to one another. "Everyone this is Rubble, he'll be staying with us until the end of term." Might as well get used to one another right away since they'll be sharing their space with their new friend.

After showing Xeno where she got sorted and explaining that process to him, Skylar figured the only next logical place would be to show him where they would sleep. "Alright so I've made up a nice comfy spot for you right on the table next to me"
She stared a moment as she held Xeno in her hand and strokes at its cold hard backside. Humming to herself thoughtfully she shook her head.
"Oh no. What's that? You want to sleep on the pillow?"
Sky sighed. "Okay but I might toss and turn and if you fall out of bed and crack, well it's the table for you."
