Nika walked around and looked at the room filled with cats. Okay there were so many and they didn't look friendly at the least. Now to catch one. How!? She found a cat that was jumping around and decided that it would be her target. She ran towards it but it just ran away from her. "NO! Wait!! Here kitty kitty... I'm not going to hurt you. I only want to be your friend." And catch you so that I can get this stupid transfiguration assignment out of the way. Ugh. Okay so talking to the cat wasn't working.

She looked around to see if someone else was in need of help. Maybe if they tried to catch them together it would be easier.

Wait--had Hissy Fit just run out the classroom? With all the others?! There were blasted cats everywhere, and it was hard to tell which was which or where Hissy Fit might be. "Move, you blasted animal!" she said, as one of the random cats ran past her, tracking all across her foot in the process. She made a move to flick out her wand, but she remembered she'd left it in the classroom. Bahhh.

She saw an army of the creatures up ahead, and she thought that if she could just back them into a corner, she'd be able to at least grab one. "Hissy Fit?" she asked, still worried for her cat. If someone captured him and got him into a foul mood, there'd be prices to pay!

Isa ran out into the corridor. How was she supposed to catch a cat. Really what was with tis lesson it made no sense. She sighed and went to a corner filled with catnip and cats. She made a grab for the one closest to here.

OW!!! Isa screamed the stupid thing clawed her. Now there was a huge scratch on her right cheek and it hurt. Isa grabbed some catnip to draw the cats. The first one that came, looked like Daisy her sisters cat she picked up. She grabbed more catnip and hauled "Daisy" to the classroom.

Theodore pulled the hood of his cloak over his head for extra protection. There was no use in risking that a cat get hold of his curly locks of hair. His arms were in front of his face as cats seemed to be bouncing off of the stone walls of the corridor, going wild. "Does anyone have any ideas?" He called over the commotion, looking for a partner or more in crime. This wouldn't be something that one could do alone. The Ravenclaw peeked out from behind his arms to look for a non-feline specimen to work with.

Kurumi sprinted around the run chasing after Walnut. It probably would be a terrible thing if someone else caught him. Chances of him peeing in someone else's shoes was magnified by the fact that he had the wild look in his eyes after having too much catnip.

"Walnut...please...stop!" she shoted as she darted back and forth trying to catch up with the feline. This was ridiculous. Clearly, Professor MacFusty's therapy session with the munchkin cat was not teaching him how to behave.

Kurumi dove at one point, but grabbed nothing but air and a few strands of fur that flew off Walnut as he made a quick turn to the right and doubled back towards the northern end of the corridor.

She needed another plan besides chasing him. She stuck her hand in her pockets more out of frusteration than anything and and felt...something was there.

OF COURSE! Why hadn't she thought of these earlier?

Now, where did that cat run off too...

Nika turned around and saw Sierra, the slytherin who she hug! attacked, was also having trouble catching a cat. The slytherin is just plain mean, but help was help no matter who it was... "Hey Sierra! You wanna work together to catch cats?" Wow. She never thought she'd say that... These lessons were getting weirder and weirder by the day.

This would be no problem for Eino. As the badge on his robes suggested, he was a certified pogrebin hunter, so he could use some of those same skills to apply to this exercise and catch the cats. Plus, since they didn't use a disguise this would eliminate the distinguishing part and he could go directly into the catching part. He walked into the corridor with an exceeding amount of confident, which resulted in a strange gait, where his legs stood farther apart from each other than usual and he barely bent his knees.

Which cat to catch first?! There were so many and they were everywhere, driven mad by the catnip. Eino spotted a sphynx, which was a hairless cat, and aimed to catch that one. "Here, kitty..." He said as he got down on all four and crawled towards the cat, using a very high pitched voice, and the same strange kissy face as before. "Oooh, pretty... Come hereee. Come heeeeeeeeeereeeee." He continued, trying to lure the cat by trying to be one, which of course led to: "Meow, meow." He started meowing at he approached the cat, but the cat stubbornly ignored him ans continued to chase after catnip.

Isa continued her run to the room then her cat jumped out of her hands. Wait a minute that was Daisy. How in the world had Shaw gotten her sisters cat? What did her sister do to get Daisy? Whistle...one of the talents Isa didnt have.

Isa aimlessly tried to whistle. Not working, not working.

"Daisy, oh Daisy-pie..." Isa maanaged to croo. Her cheek was throbing though. She needed a treat for her.

As much as she didn't like not having her wand in the classroom, she REALLY didn't like not having it in the corridor with the ferals. But she was glad other students didn't have wands.

She supposed Shaw was smart in that decision.

Not at all worried about her kneazle, who seemed perfectly at ease with the ferals and others, she skillfully weaved through the crowd of students and ferals, trying to find one that wasn't so... feral.

And figure how to catch them without getting scratched. Hm.

Oakey got into the corridor where there were tons of cats hopping, running, rolling, swaying, crawling and possibly even flying around. How was he ever going to get a cat.
He even told Shaw that he would bring back more than one cat. He would need something that would attract a cat, but what a, mouse.

Wait Oakey did have a mouse, fake one that Valentine, his Owl had left behind at the Owlry a few days ago and replaced it with a real one.

he rummaged through his bag and found a slightly damaged rubber mouse that still squeeked when squeezed. He bent down on his knees and squeeked the toy a few times.

...Fallon looked around the corridor. It was overflowing with crazy wild cats. Was that catnip she spotted on the window sill? She sure hoped not because that would just make catching these cats that much harder. She looked around at all of the other students and took in their techniques.

Fallon tried to think of how she usually lured Snuggles out. Of course, it usually involved treats...which were back in her bag in the classroom. She really wished she would have thought of that before she'd left to catch one of these stupid wild cats. Fallon figured she'd just pick one and try to call it to her. "Here kitty, kitty!" She said to the nearest cat which happened to be a really cute little calico. Well, it would've been cute if it wasn't missing patches of fur.

Raven is eager to find his cat, he need it, and some of them is out of the room, there is plenty of them in the corridor, time to find an easy prey.

Moving out into the corridor, arms crossed and with a big ol' SMIRK on her face as she watched some of the others try and catch a cat, the Slytherin girl stood to the side slightly, debating what to do. There were so many. Sooooo many wild cats.

Soooo many... o____O

Was there one here that didn't look like it was about to pounce on and scratch whatever moved closest to it?

Sierra nearly missed the sound of her name, what with all the cats running around the corridor and the students trying to catch them. She turned, though, and searched the crowd of cats and people, her eyes finally falling on the Hugging Gryffindor she'd met in the dungeons just the other day.

She wasn't going to hug her again, was she?!

Oh. She wanted to be partners. Hmm. Sierra could actually use the help, even if it was Hugger Girl. "Oh, yeah," she answered, jumping as two cats ran across her feet. "Let's corner these cats!" Or, better yet... An idea suddenly occurred to her. Why was she trying to catch a cat when she could get a cat to come to her?! [BI]"Hey...how do you feel about picking up catnip?"[/B] she asked.

Neptune Bott carried Merlin out like a baby, happy that she had a fearless cat-catching partner already. Lexi was probably already a master cat-snatcher. She just seemed the type. Giggle.

She hefted Merlin up onto a window sill for safe keeping.


There were cats.... and students.... everywhere.


"You might not believe this, coming from me," GULP, "but tackling one might be our best bet." O___O

Lexi glanced over her shoulder JUST to be sure that the crazy creeper wasn't following she and Neptune. That was the last thing she needed.

Crooning at Merlin she reached up and petted him under the chin. He seemed EXTREMELY uninterested in the rest of the cats... and whatever it was that seemed to be making them all crazy. Well, it didn't surprise her much. He DID like to swim. He was quite possibly the strangest cat she had ever met.

Alright... WAIT. Hehehehehee! "You want to tackle cats? I am truly a bad influence on you aren't I? Hehehehee!" That was TOTAL win though. Tuney wanted to punch people, hex them, and tackle cats. There was a very good reason she was Lexi's best friend.

"Alright. Let's formulate a plan. We need to focus on one cat at a time... and maybe get them away from the group... and then ATTACK! I caught a gnome once by tackling it. It bit me, but I caught it anyway. Should work about the same. And the cats can't curse at us," she said thoughtfully.

OH! There was a half way clean looking steel grey kitty that looked like it needed a good tackling.

Caroline walked out into the corridor. No wand plus Rabid cats equals bad news. She looked around as the others They looked about as confused and unsure of how to catch these wild cats.

She got this idea that maybe she got catch one with her jacket or something. Taking her jacket off, she looked around for a cat to catch maybe one that looked a bit slower then the others or something. Finding one she threw her jacket at it.

It along with like five other cats hissed maddly when the jacket went up it the air and fell to the floor. The Slytherin jumped back and yelled. She was almost to terrifyied to grab her jack from the floor. She bent down and grabbed it quickly. Nothing no cats under the jacket. The cats around ran rather down the corridor. Now what was she suppose to do.

Nika raised her eyebrow as she waited for a response. She wasn't sure how this was going to go. She let out a small shriek as three cats decided to run across her feet in different directions. Why were they doing this in the first place. Were they going to transfigure the cats!? Knowing Shaw it could be considered animal cruelty.

Her lips curled into a small smile as Sierra said yes. Okay so she wasn't the ideal partner, but she always seemed like she knew what she was doing. Catnip? Well last term they had to pick up poo in Care of Magical Creatures. Catnip pfft that's nothing compared to the poo. But then again at least they had gloves for that.

She looked at Sierra and then at all of the cats before responding. "Catnip... Well I guess anything to get this over..." She nodded her head slowly. Might as well get this done and out of the way.

Neptune's eyes wandered the corridor, getting ideas on what other students were doing. One was shedding clothes, another was crawling around... one was yelling....

"I think you're right. You are rubbing off on me." Neptune totally threw out the idea of tackling one and put her BRAIN to work. How would a Ravenclaw Princess, Queen of Hogwarts, catch a feral cat without turning into a barbarian?

"One cat at a time is good," and Neptune noted the one Lexi had chosen. She approved. "Maybe we should think like a cat. See us as he sees us, you know? Maybe ... maybe we should try to ... domesticate him. Quickly. Throw all our womenly wiles and charms at him." Giggle.

Neptune tossed her curls over her shoulder, like that might show the cat how sophisticated she was. "Like.... coax... tackle... love... deliver."

This was genius! Cats began to crowd him like he was the Pied Piper of Cats.

The only thing that backfired on Poor Oakey was that they all had the look of a killer in their eyes. He quickly stopped squeaking the toy mouse mouse to cover his head with his arms as 3 cats pounced at him!

GAH! he yelped as they dug their sharp claws into his robe. they weren't letting go either. The quickest thing he could think to do was throw his robe off and tossed the fake toy into the middle of it. Including the 3 still clinging to it 2 more pounced onto it.

At this Oakey grabbed his robes from the floor and held it like a bag with 5 cats in it!

the 5 cats were resisting and Oakey couldn't sling his robe over his shoulder to carry them. So he slowly dragged them back into the classroom.

Well, at least the two of them seemed to agree on one thing--they'd do nearly anything to get this over and done with. As soon as Sierra captured a cat and hauled it back to the classroom, she'd hopefully get her wand back and be able to do some real magic! Capturing cats was not her idea of magic. "Well, the cats are after the catnip," Sierra said, "and we're after the cats. So maybe if we stop trying to run after cats and hold the catnip instead, the cats will come to us."

"The only problem is, we may get attacked," she admitted, which was why she'd asked Nika how she felt about holding catnip. Sierra didn't actually plan to hold any herself. She knew she'd have to, though. As helpful as it would be, Sierra knew Nika wasn't stupid and wouldn't do all the work for her. Pity. "...but maybe we'll actually catch a cat."

This was SO going to be like a lion stalking a gazelle... only it was a lion stalking a little lion. Or something like that. Yeah.

"What exactly do you think it would mean to think like a cat... Like do we need to crawl around and meow and stuff to get into character or something? I think you are right about the domesticating bit there. I think if we love them enough they will turn nice." Logic. She had it.

Lexi took a few steps toward the kitty target and stopped short as she had a thought. "What if one of us runs at the cat shouting and makes it run off in the opposite direction toward the tackler?" FEW STEPS CLOSER TO THE KITTEH.

Maybe she could use her shoe strings to hog tie the kitty if it refused to be domesticated. That would keep it from scratching her and infecting her with kneazle pox.

Raven saw the senior Slytherin, and he got an idea, catching this cats is hard than he thought.

"Hey, Miss Slytherin Caroline, may I paired with you" Raven say, so what if she is snake, even mean look is okay for a Lion. "Cornering cat with wand is easy, but as our wand is with that box *pionting box*, it is harder" Raven add.

GULP.

Jayce didn't like cats to begin with. And now.. NOW they had to catch feral ones? What was the logic in this? Sure, Jayce idolized Shaw, but.. this? THIS was not cool. The boy frowned and walked toward the nearest group.

Being that he didn't have his wand, not his somewhat trusty, insane, little puppy, the boy felt out of his element. He rubbed his arm somewhat awkwardly while glancing around uncertainly.

A CAT COULD JUMP OUT AND ATTACK HIM AT ANY MOMENT. And he didn't like that thought.
