Ira Banner wasn't exactly PLEASED to be here. He was alright with the WAND part of it all, but the CHILDREN part? Circe save him. He KNEW Bryce thought it was hilarious too, he bloody knew that his boss was probably having a right old chortle about it. It was good publicity for his upcoming book and everything, but Ira wasn't writing for PEOPLE, he was writing for WANDS.
This classroom set up wasn't ideal either, but never mind, they’d not be stuck in here for too long because there was a field trip in order. Pre-approved, and Ollivanders-sponsored. Bryce was clearly just SO generous and it hadn't a thing to do with casually putting Ira into what was probably the LEAST COMFORTABLE SITUATION HE COULD POSSIBLY BE IN JUST FOR FOR KICKS. Oh no. Couldn’t be that. He'd have to talk to children who thought they knew him. Merlin.
Just breathe, Banner.
He set up the room as sparsely and uncomfortably as possible. There were chairs and desks. Not an ounce of personality or comfort or warmth. A long chalkboard at the front of the room, which had writing on it because Ira had no intention of saying anything to any of these kids until he absolutely had to. If they could follow instructions, that wouldn't be a problem.

Or... maybe not in so many words. But he had created a wand-loving monster. So when Sophie entered the room with her notebook and permission slip in hand and SAW Ira standing there, her eyes lit up, her cheeks went red, and she tried NOT to but she squealed with glee, pressing her lips together in an attempt to keep more sounds from bursting from her.
She took a moment to gather herself, unable to rid the grin from her face, tilted her chin upward, and marched to the desk closest to Ira, not looking at him. Right at the front for now so she could be as close to him and hear EVERYTHING he would have to say. Her eyes flicked to the board and she flipped her permission slip face up on the desk in front of her as she sat down, still nervously refusing to make proper eye contact with Ira for the time being.

Hurrying to copy down the next bit of information, Sophie dared to sneak a peek at Ira, who looked just as gruff and grumpy as ever - but when he saw HER he'd feel better about everything, yeah? He'd look pleased and remember how cool it had been when she got her wand from him and realize how eager she was to be there and how attentive she was going to be and how he wasn't wasting his time? She quickly looked back down at her notebook and scribbled out the required things onto a blank sheet of parchment, a smile playing upon her lips in anticipation for Ira's acknowledgement of her.

Nigel walked into the seminar hoping the person would show up this time. Not like last time where the guy did not show up and they were left with a safety seminar. Which did nothing to help them last year. It was fantastic getting zapped.
The Prefect did have an interest in wandlore and the field trip to the Forest of Dean. But first he need to do the questionnaire and put the permission slip on his desk.

Adi skipped happily towards the room. When he had heard about the wandlore seminar, he became very excited. He had a hunch about who would be there and he hoped he was correct.
Upon entering the room, he glanced around excitedly. Yes! He was right! "Mr. Banner! It's great to see you again!'' Adi wondered if the man would remember him. "Remember I had told you I would visit you? But instead you're visiting us!''
Leaving Mr. Banner alone now he took a seat at one of the desks at the front of the class and placed his permission slip at the edge.

Wands were fascinating and everything but mostly the blonde had showed because her best friend was so interested in the subject. She figured it was only right to show some interest too.
"Hello Sir," She greeted quietly, giving the rather uncomfortable looking man a polite smile. Was this one of the guys Soph had interned with? She was curious.
After settling in at her desk, the seventeen year old placed the permission slip in the corner. She made sure it was face up as instructed, not wanting to get on this guy's bad side.

Wandlore was interesting enough, right? After all, wands were super important to a witch or wizard, so why not learn more about them? Besides, the wandmaker guy was sort of cute. Sort of. In an older-not-Fuller kind of way. He'd probably be nicer to look at if he smiled a little. Cat decided to smile at himinstead. Then she placed her permission slip up with the others.

Fern was NOT looking forward to this class. She HATED Ollivanders, and she HATED its employees, and she was just finally getting over HATING her wand. And now this. A stupid seminar with that horrid man.
Stomping into the classroom, the first year quickly went over to the seat farthest away from where the shopkeeper/wandmaker stood, and shoving the seat out angrily, sat down with a thump. Then, pulling a stained and crinkled permission sheet out of her pocket, she slapped it face up in front of her.

This seminar actually sounded really cool, yeah? Growing up in the Muggle world his knowledge on wands was, well, limited to say the least. So at least this would be interesting. And he found very few things genuinely interesting because he was really smart and stuff. Even though he didn't usually ram it down peoples throats.
So it was gonna be nice to ACTUALLY learn something. Like a teacher. Wow. Foreign concept. Ahem.
Nodding at the guy, not talking to him 'cause that would be lame, he read what was behind his head. Blah, blah, blah. Field trip. Blah. Forest of Dean. Blah, blah. Guardian sign-

He found a seat and sat in it with a sour expression. Parents.

Ascanius had only met his guardian once 'cause they were just some suit and tie at an office somewhere for the government. The endless joys of his situation.
Now he was REALLY annoyed. Like really annoyed. And started to violently scratch at the parchment with his quill.

Seminar! When they get to learn new stuff from new people. They could really use seeing some new faces, some professors were becoming boring and predictable. Though, sometimes that could be good as it's always nice to have familiar faces around, getting to see new people was cool.
Cassia didn't know much about wands, except her wand's type and she was pretty sure she even didn't know what the type implied. So she was excited! It was good feeling excited again after a month of non-excitement.
She headed to the great hall with the permission slip in hand that promised going in a trip. Eeep.
As she walked in, she shuddered noticing that it was cold. Good thing she was bundled and had an extra jacket in her bag. She looked at the man standing by the board. Someone wasn't excited for the trip, huh? And no one was talking. Were they gonna remain like that? She could not survive like that, you know.
For now, she chose a desk and placed the permission slip as instructed then reached for a parchment.

Seminar! About wandlore, too. This was going to be interesting, yeah? Especially since the permission slip, which he had made sure to get signed and bring along with him, mentioned something about a fieldtrip. To a forest. AWESOME. As long as it dust end up being dangerous.
Heading into the classroom, the boy... blinked. It looked a little odd in here. Maybe. Or maybe this had something to do with the fact that he had sat far too close to someone who was eating a spinach-based meal earlier that day. Maybe. Looking over at the man, Alec smiled and said, "Hello sir!" Yeah? There wasn't a need to say anything else, right? And was it okay to call him sir or...?
Too many questions.
The Hufflepuff headed over towards an empty seat and quietly sat down. His grey-blue eyes flew over towards the board and he scanned the instructions quickly. Permission form on the edge of the desk? Face up? Okay. He did so, making sure that t wasn't too near the edge either.

Wade entered in through the seminar room. He hadn't thought much about his wand lately, and well, events from last year that required a lot of outside class wand use, got him into really thinking more about it. So, here he was about to hand in the permission slip. Sure, he was already of age to not even need his dad signing off on it, but he didn't feel like making the process anymore difficult in explaining on why he would signed for himself. So in the end, Wade just got his loving dad to do it after all.
He gave a little smile and greeted, "Good day, sir." handing in his permission slip, before heading towards an empty seat.

Slipping into the Seminar classroom, she smiled to the students and smiled to the instructor with a little nod. Smiles for everyone, okay?! Having been roped into being a chaperon for this, educational, event, she wasn't so much excited for it as she was nervous. Past incidents were still haunting. Her chakras were doing so much better now though, even more so from the time of the feast, so... now was a good time as any to have some fun, right? Wand lore stuff! Field trips! Fun!

Minerva walked into the seminar. It seemed interesting enough. She didn't want to do anything that involved this topic in the future, but why not learn about it anyway. Thankfully she had went over to the States for the Wedding this summer and while there was able to get the permission slip signed. Even though she was of age and didn't see why she needed a permission slip, but whatever she was over it so here take the piece of paper. Her grandparents had no clue what they were signing anyway and actually gave her issues about signing at first.

Hey, that was that guy that sold him his wand! Faintly embarrassed at his antics in the shop, Benzi shuffled in quietly and looked for a spot to sit. He's been super excited that day, he really shouldn't be held responsible for anything he'd said. Or did. ANYWAYS. Benzi dropped his things beside a really angry looking Fern, and raised his eyebrows in a silent question to her.
Oh. Right. Parchment. Hehe. Mummy had been super torn over that - on one hand she couldn't not let him go, it was an academic trip and blah blah blah, but on the other hand she knew for a fact he probably won't adhere to the rules she's signed in the slip.
Ah well. She's signed in the end of course.
