Pending the weathers disastrous impact on the greenhouses, rendering it unsuitable to maintain flora life... the room off the Great Hall has been commandeered to act as a temporary greenhouse. The room structure is simple, and while it's not ideal, it will at least provide the flora some protection from the elements.

With plant in arms Zander finally made it to the temporary holding room. Woah, it was pretty empty in here... Uh oh. There's a lot of work to be done. WOAAAAAAAAH plant. getting. heavy. must. put. down. Next time, he'd have to get a smaller one. Yup, yup.
All he wanted to do was be with Bentley, but by the looks of it, he'd be spending a lot more time running from greenhouse to this room. The struggle. Why did this winter have to be so freaking cold!? It definitely was not like this last year. Something wonky is going on around here. Something always done.
And with that, Zander carefully set the plant down in a corner. He wasn't all too sure as to where Bentley wanted it... Hopefully this spot would be okay? Maybe? Possibly... Hmm... Where was that little kid who had followed him out? Zander didn't really wait up for him along the way, just because you know, plant heavy arms weak thing. But now that he had made it, it wouldn't hurt to walk back with the kid. They could be plant carrying buddies or something....

Thankful to be in from the cold, Lux made her way over to the temporarily Greenhouse. Not the snazziest place, and it was mostly empty... But it would certainly do for the time being. Beggars can't be choosers and all that. Besides, if was nice and warm in here. Aaah, it was so nice.
Taking the tiny potted plants from her pockets, Lux set them down in place before reverting them to their previous sizes. There some plants were saved. Now it was time for her to go back and help her fellow students some more.

Oh so THIS was where they were taking them, neat. Lex hardly ever noticed this room before but here it was now with a few plants already set inside it offering protection from the ridiculous winter that didn't seem to have ending plans. It was okay for now, but she drew the line at this stretching all the way down into...say...April. Ample time for it to get its self together if she did say so herself.
Alexa turned into the room right after the kid infront of her did and immediately tried finding a place to set them down. Somewhere someone else wasn't using as their own dumping site.
Over there looked good enough.
Lex levitated the box over and lowered it carefully then began unpacking the plants from her box. Couldn't place them too close together because they were meant to be bigger than this. Can't leave them this size. After the last had been unpacked she vanished the box (no need to walk all the way back with it when she could conjure a new one later, right?) then cast a 'finite' to end the former 'reducio'.
There. Job done and she could head back to the Greenhouse. The girl was positive the Professor would be needing a lot more help.

Back into the temporary Greenhouse Lux went with her new cargo. Heading over to another one of the tables, she carefully unloaded the plants from her pockets and set them down making sure to leave enough space between them. Changing each back to its original size, Lux now had the task of hanging each up on one of the torch brackets. That wouldn't be too hard, and would add some more prettiness to the room.
Picking the first one up, she had some difficulty getting it in place since she was so short. In the end she managed by going onto her tiptoes again. There would be no ladders used by her since they were so very terrifying. Now on to the next plant! Heading back and forth between the table and torch brackets, soon enough all of her hanging plants were put in place.
Now to go back to the Greenhouses and get some more.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
The boy had walked as fast as he could to the temporary Greenhouse off the Great Hall and upon entering the room, he too placed the pot down on a table. Then he opened up his robe and pulled out the tiny basket. Using Finite on it, the basket grew back to its normal size and the Gryffindor walked towards one of the torches in the room.
The torches were pretty high though so Kevin had to stand on his tiptoes to be able to reach it but eventually he was able to hang the basket over it and he grinned.

Penelope had been assigned to re-potting, but she didn't want to stay out in the cold for too long. It felt good to be inside, but she needed to get back to the greenhouse to re-pot the plants. Finding an empty space, Penelope set the plant down.
Back to the greenhouse. She had a job to do there.

Kyroh was frowning. He had lost his sidekick on the way here. Mostly because his small legs made it hard to keep up especially in the snow. Had the bad guys taken him?
Poor Gryffindor.
As he walked into the room he looked around andn noticed some plants already placed. Kyroh took the two baby plants and placed them near the back, just so they could get the most warmth and grow STRONG. Yeah! Turning the Ravenclaw started his journey back to the greenhouse.

Zander stumbled in with the pot in hand. Maybe should've used that mobilwhatever spell... Yeah okay keeping that in mind for next time. The Gryffindor set down the plant and started to readjust his scarf. Boy was all that walking in the snow really making this Gryffindor freeze. Goodness gracious.
What now? ...... Back to the Greenhouses for another one... Ah the things he does for love, ahem, for Bentley... Yeah, for Bentley....

Though she hadn't done much in the way of transfers herself, it wasn't for a lack of trying. There as just so much to do, and so many things to monitor...
But she managed to slip away.
With her robes inner pockets nestling some shrunken plants, and her wand arm guiding a couple more, Seren had managed to march up to the castle which was an easier feat than usual considering the path the students had formed in doing so. Once inside, she moved purposefully straight for the spare room.... her room. The room off the Great Hall.
The place looked warmer already, not just literally speaking, but all the green just seemed to give the room a lift. "This'll do nicely," she mused, more to herself than anyone else, as she set down the potted plants near the others. Once this was done, she carefully extracted those from her pockets and set them down before restoring them to their usual size. Excellent.
Of course, she was itching to get back to the greenhouses, and she would need to think of what to do with the flesh eaters... ...
The flesh eaters.
Deciding to prep for them while she was here, Seren moved to the farthest end of the large room and set about enclosing a section with a secure cage wall.

It's possible that Mo had lost one of his potted plants along the way. Not that he'd tell a soul... and not that he wouldn't go back and retrieve it in just a minute. He'd have to count once his flat was down and unloaded.
Dropping it safely to the floor was tricky and took a few passes before the plants were all safe on the ground again. Nothing was tipped or toppled or spilled, much to Mo's relief. Now to unload, and then back down again for another round. Mo unpacked the flat by hand, nestling the pots close together to make sure there was room for everything. They looked happy in here, which was sort of a surprise all things considered.
"You guys are going to be fine. Don't worry about a thing," Mo patted each of them before turning to go. Oh, the professor was here ahead of him? She was so SNEAKY. "Need a hand with anything, ma'am?"

Uhh.. Was this the right room? Simon hesitated outside the room for a little bit before peeking in and seeing Professor Bentley herself with a couple other students who had volunteered to help. Awesome! So he had made it into the room without getting lost or losing a plant. SCORE. Simon beamed. With the three plants still levitating in the air, he carefully moved them onto a spare table where the other students had placed their plants.
With the plants safely in their new home, Simon returned to the Greenhouses. There was much more work to be done!
Lucy took the potted plants from her pockets and she said:"Finite!!!
The plants grew in their size and Lucy was ready to come back to the greenhouses..

Oh hey, the Professor had gotten here too. Lex noticed while she was unpacking the plants she'd just brought over. Just like before she gave them a good bit of space between then before removing the reducio charm and having them once again at their normal size.
What was the Professor doing though? Lex stood idly for a moment watching the woman conjuring cages and such.
Cages. Those could only mean one thing. Flesh Eaters. Did the Professor need help getting those over here because she was SOOOO available to go see the flesh eaters. MHM. Responsible Prefect and all, she shouldn't be carrying the regular plants. Those could be saved for the younger ones who were more likely to get eaten. Lex wouldn't get herself eaten, she was practically an expert on Flesh Eaters by now. Pffft. Totally.
"Will you be needing any help Professor? With the cage building and transporting for the Fleshies I mean." Otherwise she'd go back to regular transport but REALLY she was RIGHT HERE and AVAILABLE.

It was probably a good thing that they were only going to the ground floor of the castle up from the grounds where the damaged greenhouses were. Benny wasn't sure he would have had as much luck focusing on keeping the three plants in the air if he had had to travel up the staircases. As ot was, he had almost grabbed for one as it seemed to falter before realizing it wasn't the best idea and just needed to continue using magic.
But all three plants were intact by the time they reached the Great Hall, the duo moving off to the room beside it which had clearly been assigned as the replacement. There was already a great deal of plants of all kinds already there waiting for them as well as students as they dropped them off before heading off for more.
Taking a moment's pause to remember the instructions about what to do upon arrival, especially with hanging baskets, Benny headed over to the nearest clear torch. "Here you are..." he absently mused as he set the plant containers carefully down on the ground ending the spell before taking up one and lifting it to try and hang it.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Adi followed Benny, fully concentrating on getting the plants safely to the room off the Great Hall. It wouldn't do to damage Bentley's precious plants. The poor woman must already be devastated over the greenhouse.
He set down his plants beside Benny's. What were they supposed to do now again? Adi absently watch as his bestie hung one of the plants on a torch. Oh yeah. He grabbed one of his own, stood on tippy toes and successfully hung it on a torch. He repeated the process until all the plants were safely hung.
"Ready to go?'' Adi asked Benny. Back to the Greenhouses he meant.

With one plant secure in its new temporary home, he moved right onto the next, hanging the second up on another free torch. Hopefully the warmth would be just right for them. And that there was enough for all of them before they were finished. It was certainly better than bitter cold and freezing wind. Benny turned to Adi just as he was picking up his third and final plant in his care.
"Just a moment," the lion said as reached up...stretching a little...to fit the last hanging plant on the hook of the torch he was working with. It took him a few moments to get it situated properly and his feet solidly back on the ground there. There. All set. "Let's go..." he said walking back to his Hufflepuff companion to head out once more.

Once she was certain she'd done a good enough job of the metal structure, testing it my gripping her fingers through the metal mesh and giving it a tug and a push, she turned to head back to the greenhouses... only to be confronted by Branxton... and then Lex.

Weren't they both simply darling for asking to be of further assistance. She beamed warmly. "Well actually... yes," she agreed in reply, because frankly she couldn't go it herself. "You two can come with me, I need to have the flesh eaters sedated and moved... and you're both responsible and mature enough for the task." Or else the answer would be no.
Phew. That took longer then she thought is would. Levitating the hanging pots ended up being harder than she thought it would be. Plus carrying one in her hand. If she did this for a few more rounds she was going to be exhausted.
Next time she went back she would use that motionist spell that she over heard Bentley tell one of the twins or tripplets which one they were. Well now this was when she would defiantly need it use a levitating spell. Cinna was tall but not quite tall enough to reach the torches. She hooked the Levied pot to one of the torch brackets. Then used the same levitating on the other pot hooking it to another torch bracket.
Back to the greenhouse to save more plants.

Another load of baby plants. Kyroh placed them down where he had placed the others but the stopped to look over at the newly added cage. Probably for the flesh eating plants right? He couldn't admire it too long though. BACK TO THE GREENHOUSE!

Zander walked into the all too familiar room. Ah, the sweet scent of... SWEAT. EW. His hair was drenched after the past couple trips up and down. BENTLEY WOULD NEVER HUG HIM NOW! SOS. Speaking of the Herbology Angle Professor, he caught sight of her.
OH NO. MUST RUN BEFORE SHE SEES THE SWEATYNESS THAT IS HIS HAIR.
Zander quickly dropped off the plant AND RAN back to the Greenhouses. This probably wouldn't help with the sweat... But at least he wouldn't have to face Bentley this drenched.

So were they up for it? Yes?
dhfsvkhftsitfvisdr!! Sedating!!!! That right there, sounded WAY cooler than lugging plants from point A to point B. This was what the Prefect was talking about. Work set for her skill level. It didn't take anyone special to shrink a couple harmless plants then stick them into your pocket. This would be SO MUCH MORE.
Mo was coming along too? Awesome. Did he hear the Professor call her responsible and mature. Granted this was in the context of the flesh eaters but did that really matter in the grand scheme of things?? SHE WAS GETTING ANOTHER ENCOUNTER WITH THEM!! Not that she hadn't already had a dozen since Bentley telling her she could visit them whenever she wanted. The woman may have been half asleep and simultaneously talking to Bart but that changed nothing.
"I'm right behind you Professor." Lex affirmed, with a two fingered salute. Ready to tackle the fleshies--except not really because that action would be frown upon and all that jazz.
Yup.

They don’t usually come for an audience with humans.” Ethan said as he crouched in front of the sled and inspected if the placement and sticking charms that Simon placed was successful. Yup. They’re ready to head out.
“Well, we need to get these up in the castle now.” He said as he got up and turned to Coop. “Simon and I will head up first and deliver the plants in the castle. I reckon it needs warmth, right away.” Ethan then turned to Simon. “Let’s go.” Clapping his friend’s back, he got hold of the rope and gestured Simon to grab the other end. “Will come back for you, Coop!”

Did they WANT something from her and THAT'S why they were asking? She still had yet to figure them out fully so this was the PERFECT opportunity to investigate further. "I'd like to help, yeah."
Finishing up the last plant she was working on, the twelve year old moved the pots over to the boys and knelt down, opting to help pot the plants here so they could move more with that makeshift sled of theirs. "That was clever, making a sled." Magic would have been MORE clever but perhaps Skateboard Boy wasn't good at levitating things either.
Talk of centaurs peeked her interest but the small brunette stayed quiet. She'd talked to a centaur TOO though she hadn't yet told Dima and Kyroh and they would be the FIRST to know, sorry snakes. She was also busy planting so when Simon and Ethan got up to move the sled, she wasn't bothered.
"I'll be here!" And when they got back, they could load the plants she'd finished and head to another greenhouse, yeah? Yeah.
"It'd be nice and considerate of them to do that," he said with a chuckle as finished potting up another plant. He stopped when Ethan asked him about the centaurs. Merlin, was the boy glad that Ethan hadn't picked up on him hanging out with a girl. He had feared that his friend would never ever ever let him hear the end of it. Centaurs were more important. Ahem. To the point. "Gurion told us that their pack was leaving as their home as become inhabitable. He also asked to speak to the Headmistress," he explained. He wondered where that conversation had gone off too. Oh if only he knew what they had discussed. His curiosity always got the better of him. He shook his head. He lowered his voice. "No, they don't. Some of the kids just stared at the magnificent creature. I mean honestly a centaur comes up to you and you just stare at it. It's one of the wisest creatures when it comes to the subject of Astrology! You ought to pay your respect to it." Centaurs were very proud. Mhmmm... He had wanted to ask Gurion so many questions, but the time was not right. Perhaps he'd meet the centaur another day. He hoped so.
Awesome, she was joining Team Holmes! Simon gave her a friendly nod and then went back to finishing up potting plants. He blinked a couple of times, glancing over at the twelve year old to see how she was doing on her work. He didn't even get her name. Then the sled was finally filled up with all the pots. Transportation time! He grabbed the other rope and headed out with Ethan. "Why do you call her, Coop?" he whispered to his mate.
Pull. Pull. Pull. Simon wished that they had levitated the sled when they were halfway up to the castle. His arm was starting to ache. BUT THEY WERE ON A MISSION. He couldn't pay heed to that annoying strain. "Merlin, this thing is rather heavy. I wish we had an Abraxan to help us," exclaimed Simon as they tugged the plants up to the castle. Those plants were probably getting quite cold. He pulled out his wand and quickly cast the Hot Air Charm. "Ventus." He continued doing that repeatedly until they reached the castle.
Once inside the castle, Simon used the levitation charm which enabled the boys to rest their weary arms. "The room's right over here," he said, leading Ethan into the makeshift greenhouse.

More so when he realized that Lex was going to be his partner in crime for this particular task. Goodness... that was a seriously long trek up to the castle. The first year was carrying three plants that she had recently re-potted all by herself. She didn't know the spell for levitation so she was doing all the leg work herself. AJ had no problem doing things on her own, but next time somebody was carrying them for her or they were going to show her how to do the spell herself. This was too much work even for her.
She set the plants down easily and admired them for a moment... she did just save their lives after all. Blowing out air, she turned on her heel and made her way down to the next greenhouse that needed saving.
