Nessa had a few things to plan with Cassie today and she decided to head up towards the Divination tower to go talk to her about things. And maybe have a cup of tea while they did. It had been a little too long since they just had a chat.

And so the History of Magic professor found herself on the seventh floor on her way to see her best friend. It was on the way after all, but as she walked through the corridor, she noticed something strange. A set of doors that she hadn't seen before...

Wait.. wasn't this where the Room of Requirement was? Nessa paused a moment and looked at the doors curiously. She hadn't been to that room since she was a student here, but from what she remembered, you had to walk past it three times and think of something specific. Something she did not just do. In fact, had she been thinking of anything that she required at all?

Perhaps.. but maybe she should just go in and check it out. She was rather curious to see what would be inside..

She was wandering, as she often did. Evie had spent a lot of her day in class and then on her bed studying and reading and she had gotten BORED of that. So she decided to stretch her legs and wander. Her brain could only handle so much studying anyway.

Hoping to find a familiar face she liked, Evie wandered the corridor, trailing her finger along the wall as she walked. And as she turned the corner, she spotted one of the professors standing in front of a wall with a set of doors on it. Evie didn't know where the doors led to, but they didn't exactly look familiar. Then again, a lot of the castle didn't look familiar AND changed a lot, so she wasn't too surprised.

"Hi professor," she greeted pleasantly as she walked up to her. "Is everything okay?" Because she looked a little confused.

Tapping a finger to her chin as she contemplated the doors in front of her, Nessa tilted her head as she looked at the curiously. What had she been thinking of to cause them to appear? Or had they already been there a while? Was she even at the site of the room of requirement? It had been a little while since she was in this area, but she was sure that was what it as. Though the more she stood here thinking about it, the more she second-guessed herself.

Maybe she should just go in and see for herself. Nessa was just about to try the doors when a voice at her side drew her attention. "Oh! Hello.." She quickly did a mental check of her roster through her head. "Evangeline," she finished, smiling brightly. Was everything ok? She looked from the girl back to the doors then back to the girl again, resuming her wide smile. "Well.. I think so.. Have you ever been to the Room of Requirement?" Maybe the girl would know if the doors had been visible for a while or not.

Yeeees, Evangeline. She didn't blame the woman. There were a lot of names for her to remember. But she did seem as chipper as ever, so maybe nothing was wrong after all. Evie's curiosity peaked when she directed her attention to the doors.

"No..." Evie had never been in the Room of Requirment, oddly enough. But she did know how it worked. You had to walk in front of it three times and concentrate on what you wanted in the room or whatever, and then the doors appeared. Which the professor had obviously done, since the doors were right there. "Are you going in?" 'Cause if she wasn't going to, Evie would.

No, she hadn't ever been inside, but did that mean she didn't know what the Room of Requirement was at all? Or just that she had never had the inclination. Nessa thought this over for about three seconds and was about to ask to clarify when Evangeline spoke again.

"Yes, I think I am," she said brightly with an enthusiastic nod. "I'm just.. not sure what's going to be in there." But it did seem very exciting and she did want to find out. "You see," she began to explain, unsure about how much the girl knew about the Room of Requirement. "Typically the room presents itself to someone who walks past three times, thinking of something specific. And I didn't do that.. so I was just wondering how long the doors had been visible." She shrugged a bit as it didn't matter, she wanted to go in and see what might be in there.

"Want to join me and see what's in there?"

She didn't know what was going to be in there? Well, that didn't make sense. You had to walk in front of it and picture what you wanted for the doors to appear, but she didn't know what would be inside? Evie was just about to open her mouth to question the professor, but she beat her to the punch.

"....... Oh." Well, that was suspicious. "I would think the doors would disappear after someone entered it..?" She didn't remember learning about that part, but it made sense. Unless the door had just shown up. Maybe it wasn't even the Room of Requirement at ALL and the castle was just playing a trick on them.

Either way, she wanted to find out, and she grinned at the suggestion to do so. "You bet I do." Mysterious door appearing out of nowhere with no idea what could be lying behind it? Evie was SO in.

Nessa nodded her agreement to Evangeline's words. "Exactly." She knew how it worked as well, so that is exactly what she had thought. "That's why I found it so strange.." But as strange as it was - and strange things did tend to happen around here - her curiosity won out over any apprehension that might be present.

She grinned with delight as the girl seemed just as eager to find out what was behind those doors as she did. "Fantastic! Let's see what's inside!" It was like a little adventure.. how exciting! Without another moment's hesitation, Nessa stepped forward and pushed the door open to walk into the room.

Strange things were exciting to Evie. New things, unknown things, discovering things, investigating things. ALL things were exciting to Evie. She wanted to know the mystery behind the mysterious mystery doors. She HAD to find out.

So, nearly bouncing with excitement, Evangeline watched the professor open the doors and walk in. Then she quickly followed suit to see what lay ahead of them.

Kace decided to go out and explore the castle. He really wanted to try and find the Room of Requirement again. He thought it was a cool place to chill. He remember when it was an ice skating rink one time. It was good times. As he began to walk around he couldn't find it. He was getting discouraged and then began to pace up and down the hallway looking like an idiot he was.

Then he remembered the rules and he needed to think of something the room wanted to look like. He began to stand in front of it and began to think in silence.

James walked along the seventh floor idly kicking a football around because he was bored and done with exams finally. Rethinking the fiasco that happened trying to talk to Amelia he was about to kick the ball as hard as he could down the hallway when he spotted a boy standing there and thought better of it. Wouldn't do to get in detention for the first time the last few weeks of school would it? Instead he picked up the ball, walked over and looked at the boy and then at the wall and back.

"You trying to get in? I can help if you want?" He was veeeeeeeery familiar with this room for a variety of reasons and shrugged. "What do you want to do in there?

As Kace began to walk up and down the hallway, he heard a voice he only knew from a previous encounter. He turned around and noticed a dude he met briefly. Aww man what was his name but apparently he was gonna help him. Nice dude he was. "Yeah I am actually. If you want to help you can. I would like to skateboard in there. Are you a skateboarder?" he asked curiously. Maybe he should say his name? "I am Kace by the way." There introductions done.

James watched as the guy started walking probably still trying to get the room to appear. He stuck one hand in his pocket and tucked the ball under his arm. "Skateboard? No I've never done that but I surf though during the summer when we go on holidays. It's similar right?" Well except with wheels and starting standing. Same concept though right? Keep your balance? Though he was pretty sure Vinnie could. Hmm. Probably something he could ask her to teach him.

He pulled his hand out of his pocket and held it out for the guy to shake. Cause polite. "I'm James. Here let me help." He paced along the short distance a few times thinking up a place to skateboard and grinned as the door appeared. "Tadaaaaaaaaa. Simple when you get the hang of it."
