"Hey guys!" he said with a charming smile as he entered the room, noting that it hadn't changed a bit. Apart from the fact that someone else is using my table...

Jake turned to his girlfriend as he heard her giggle and raised his eyebrows suggestively. "Heya back," he said with a charming smile and quickly pecked her on the lips before backing off a little and assuming his role as division head. "So, how's everyone doing with the work? Any questions, progress reports? Please, if anyone has a crisis to report, tell me now because Samantha's in a meeting and so I won't feel obliged to tell her right away. I'll have more time to work out how to break the news to her," he said to everyone with an amused grin, letting them know it was a joke. Unless there's a real crisis and then we're in trouble...

Lucy narrowed her eyes at him right after he kissed her. She also assumed her role of perfect Ministry worker. With a serious expression, she said.
"Yes, there is something. Mr. Rider, if you could work the problem itself out, it would be great, but you might have to call Samantha." she paused. "This is a huge crisis." she turned her backs at him so Jake couldn't tell what she was doing. Suddenly he had a big empty cup of coffee agaisnt his chest.
"We're running out of cofee." she smirked and whispered at his year. "Don't let your new paycheck raise to your head." she advised in a soft, playful tone.

Izzy chuckled lightly watching Lucy and Jake.
"That's a big crisis, I don't think we'll be able to last without coffee" she said but didn't go on anymore. A lot of the time she just observed people she didn't know very well, it was.... easier.

Samantha walked into the room. "Who would like to go on a little mission?", she asked. "I've been doing inventory of our supplies lately and I've noticed that we are short on many items, including parchment, quills, ink and a variety of other things. Who would like to go into Diagon Alley and do a bit of shopping? You are free to enjoy yourself and take your time while there, of course. Do I have a volunteer?" Samantha was going to ask for someone to shop from the Inspection Committee as well, but just decided to start on the Examinations Authority first.

"Thank you, Izzy," Samantha said. "I will provide you with the money you need to purchase the supplies as well as enough money for you to have a meal while you're there, so feel free to enjoy yourself! I'm hoping to be able to send someone else with you, would anyone else like to go?" Samantha knew that it would be better if a couple people went to Diagon Alley together to do the shopping, it might be a bit boring otherwise and they could make a day of it!

Franklin entered the Examinations Authority office and looked around at all of the nameplates. He was trying to remember the name of the person accompanying him to Diagon Alley...then he remembered.
"Can anyone help me find Izzy?" he asked. He wasn't fond of asking for help, but he was new in the department and didn't want to look like a complete and utter fool, even though he could be on occasion; but he wasn't going to admit that.

She was a helpful person and he was glad he was getting the oppurtunity to work under her. He didn't know how he'd stand it if his boss were insufferably annoying.

"Let's apparate then," Franklin said in reply. "We'll get there quicker."
He wasn't fond of apparition, but it was the most effective way to travel and since he was on the job he was all about effectiveness.

"I don't think so. I had never worked in the Ministry before and I'm pretty sure we never met." she said.
Ireland? A coincidence or not? Stop! she told herself. It was about time to stop being so paranoid and looking over her shoulder all the time.
"So... Ireland? it's a beautiful country. If it is not too personal, may i ask you how long where you there?" then, with the first smile since they had started the conversation, she asked:
