Step right up and take your chance to dunk one of our beloved professors in our Hogwarts dunk tank!
A classic addition to any spirit-building event, your student leaders have found a way to breach the barrier between professor and student by rallying a few good sports on staff to be our victims for the day. Really, what better way to build a bond with a professor than plunging them into a tank of water?!
Five different staff members will be in the Hogwarts dunk tank during the event today, so be sure to keep an eye out for your favorites and get in line! When it's your turn, pick three Muggle baseballs from the big blue bucket, make sure you're standing behind the white line in the grass, and try to hit the target beside the tank with the ball! If you do, the professor will fall from the seat above the water and take a swim! It may sound easy, but it's harder than it looks! You'd better aim well - you don't want to give your professor the satisfaction of staying dry, do you?
Disclaimer: Any declarations of "DETENTION!" or points being taken away are not valid coming from any professors within the dunk tank, so don't worry, kids. You'll live to see another day.
Quote:
OOC: Okay guys! IC, the professors would be on a rotation with one professor taking a turn for a certain length of time, but for OOC purposes, we're going to muddle timelines. All five professors are up for grabs to dunk, but PLEASE LABEL YOUR POST with which of the five professors your student is facing:
Professor Culloden (StarShine)
Professor Flamsteed (sweetpinkpixie)
Professor Morgan (Bazinga)
Professor Moxley (TakeMeToTheBurrow)
Professor Myers (kayquilz)
You may only face ONE professor at a time, and if you see that there's quite a few trying to dunk the same professor at once, please try to spread the wealth! Really, they're ALL great choices! You also don't have to post waiting for a professor to be free, you can just pretend it's your character's turn and go right ahead to take your turn! Your character gets three throws of the ball to hit the target, and it's okay to play it realistically and have your character miss completely - who knows, maybe your student leaders may just help dunk the professor anyway?
Feel free to have your character get back in line if they miss or return to try dunking another professor, they don't have to pick only one to face throughout the whole event! Also, please be patient with our lovely professors as they try to keep up with the thread, and be sure to love on them for agreeing to participate!! They're great sports and we appreciate them immensely.
Her DREAM COME TRUE. A PROFESSOR DUNK TANK AT HOGWARTS. THEY'D PULLED IT OFF.
And Sophie Brown was VERY, very pleased that they got both Culloden and Flammy to take a turn in the dunk tank. She was a still a little bitter about Dakest wimping out on her, but surely he didn't want to tarnish his cool image or have war flashbacks with things being thrown his way. But IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE WORKING THE DUNK TANK.
Bouncing on her heels, Soph awaited the first students of the day to wander on over, grinning very stupidly as she paced near the bucket of balls, one in her hand that she tossed up to herself, ready to get this SHOW ON THE ROAD.
Well he had wanted to go bother Zander. Since that was fun even of itself. But the Walk of Fame just sounded boring and maybe something not even the Great Zander Adair could make fun. But the idea of dunking a Professor was just too good to be true. So he walked on over to where Sophie Brown was and seemed like he was the first or maybe someone already went. Who knows.
"Hey Sophie. Seems like you got the fun activity."
Anyway he was not the best at small talk. So he got the three balls he need and turned to face Professor Culldon. Which was sure interesting. Though he might not appreciate the being dunked. Maybe a water proof potion existed by now. He was focused in the target to get him in the water. Dante grinned as evilly as possible and got ready to dunk a Professor.
One Throw, one Miss.
Well it would have been something pretty special if he could have done it on the first throw.
Second Throw, and HIT.
Awesome. One Dunked Professor coming right up.

When he had been approached by the student leaders, namely a Miss Brown, about this he knew full well what he was signing up for. Sure, he could have waterproofed his red suit and worn it or even come strutting out in his wetsuit, but that felt like it would be taking away some of the charm. Therefore, the man had done the only logical thing and attended the event in a lion suit.
Pebbles, naturally, was showing some house pride as well with her crimson red ribbon atop her head.
When it was his turn, Airey waved his wand and left Pebbles floating regally over the top of the dunk tank. Seeing as she was a poor swimmer, it would be unreasonable to hold her while students attempted to dunk him. She would be terrified.
Throwing Pebbles a quick salute, the astronomer faced forward with his serious astronaut face. Bring it on, Hogwarts.
Bring. It. On.

It was a beautiful spring day today, wasn't it? Not too warm, not too cold, juuuuuuuuust right for a big ol' plate of REVENGE.
"Hiiiiiiiiii Professor Flamsteed, Head Girl Sophie, erm, older student person," Davie respectfully greeted everyone at the Dunk Tank as he stepped up in line. "Professor Admiral Sir, I was SO EXCITED to see your name on the list of dunkees today." Know why? The youngest Truebridge positively beamed at the astronomer. "Because I KNOW how much lions looooooove water. The only thing that would make this better would be if Pebbles were, say, HANDCUFFED to your wrist."
Davie smiled as sweetly as possible with that last comment. Oh Flamsteed would get it, yes he would. This was ALL ABOUT THAT TIME OF SUFFERING and now Davie had his turn to get even. It helped that Flamsteed was dressed perfectly for the occasion. Weirdly, yes, but when he thought about it, David actually appreciated the literalness of the House pride outfit. He was a walking mascot, wasn't he? Plus the big yellow suit just made him that easier of a target.
The first year lined up on his mark, aimed his first Muggle base ball --- which was weird, because it didn't look like a chemical base at all to him --- and aimed it for the target. OOOOOOOOOOOP. A miss.
"Don't worry, Admiral!" he assured the professor loudly and cheerfully. "I've got another!"

Sophie was making small talk with Culloden and may or may not have been playfully antagonizing him when the FIRST GUEST OF THE DAY ARRIVED. HOORAH.
Was Culloden getting nervous yet? Hehehehe.
"Hi Dante." Her secret santa friend. "For sure. This was my idea, so s'only right that I got stationed here." No one had the bravery to tell her any differently, so HERE SHE WAS.
"Y'get three tries," she let him know with a mischievous sort of grin directed at the Slytherin, then up at the overgrown Slytherin inside the dunk tank as she stepped off to the side, depositing the ball in her hand back inside the blue bucket before she did so and instead opting to hold her wand in her hand.
After Dante's first through, Soph made an, "awww," noise of disappointment, then CACKLED IN TRIUMPH when the second throw hit the target perfectly. "Yaaaas," she laughed, levitating the two thrown baseballs back over into the blue bucket with her wand as she griiiiiinned over at the newly-drenched Culloden over there in the tank.
"Y'all right over there, champ?" HEHEHE.

Sophie Brown wanted to eventually take her turn at lion!Flamsteed in the tank, but right now, seeing the look of mischief and determination in little Davie's eyes was MORE THAN ENOUGH fun for one lifetime. Ohhhh Merlin. This was gonna be SO GOOD.
"You're lookin' extra ravishing today, David," came Soph's reply with a biiig ol' grin, then nodded her head down toward his shoes. "Your shoes are awesome." She wanted a pair JUST LIKE THAT.
Ahem. Digressing, though, because Davie was TAUNTING FLAMSTEED which was hilarious, and then he was GETTING READY TO THROW. After customarily letting him know he had three tries, Soph stood off to the side, her wand in hand, ready to levitate the baseballs back to the bucket when necessary and potentially stop any rogue balls that came flying her way ahem. The first throw was a miss, though, and Soph offered an encouraging, "S'okay, you've got this!" His confidence and cheekiness was a HOOT. This kid was the coolest, and SHE BELIEVED IN HIM.

Cassie was actually excited to be doing this. It had been a rough end to the term, though there was many good that came as well. So getting an opportunity to get to be part of the Prefect event she was happy to help, plus a dunk tank was safe and it wasn't too deep. She wasn't the best swimmer, but figured she could handle this.
Just to be on the safest side she did have some cute Hufflepuff yellow swimmers around her arms. "Hellllllllo!!!!" She said cheerfully to all that were already there. She wasn't late, now was she?
It looked like the other professors has already started and she watched a few until it was her turn in the tank. Well now she snapped happily and climbed up to sit down.

If anyone was looking for Professor Moxley, she'd be the cutie over in the corner giggling like a school girl at her coworkers getting dunked. ...Or not. Nice aim, Truebridge. Kid would never be a chaser, that was for sure.
Anywhoo...did anyone know how constricting wetsuits were? Like she looked amazing, obviously, but breathing wasn't supposed to be this hard. She was pretty sure it wasn't, anyway. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad once she was in the water.
Speaking of-Moxley was totally planning on guilt tripping any little nuggets who decided to dunk her. JUSSSSST kidding. Or not. Maybe. Ehhh. Definitely. As a WIDELY known and loved professor, she'd really just volunteered here to spend a little QT with her students. She didn't actually expect any of them to want to send her plummeting into the cold water below. It was an unspoken understanding between her and her students which was all in her head, basically and she expected to take her seat in the dunk tank and have a pretty boring go of it.
PAUL WAS HEREEEEE! He danced his way over, trying his best to look like a very legit ballerina, but alas, he probably failed.
AND LOOK!
"MOXLEY! We're TWINS!" he booty-bumped her casually and just couldn't WAIT for his shift. He wanted so badly to get DUNKED. It was all in the spirit of fun, wasn't it?! Of course it was! There was Airey and Cassie, too! Staff partaaaaaay! Paul bounced up and down, making his fluffy tutu bounce, too.
Tutus were so fun. Why didn't everyone wear them?!
Anyway he was not the best at small talk. So he got the three balls he need and turned to face Professor Culldon. Which was sure interesting. Though he might not appreciate the being dunked. There wasn't a potion that made someone waterproof (sadly) but Cosgrach was wearing a swimsuit which was in Hufflepuff colours. He didn't even remember how he agreed to do this, someone must have asked him when he wasn't feeling well. However, there was no turning back now. And anyway, who could hit the target, really? It was a hard thing to do. He would fall in water only like once, if he was on his unlucky day. He was SURE he would stay dry. So it wouldn't be that bad...
He got in there, waved at everyone else who was present, and - ugh, of course, someone was already ready to dunk him. "Hello Dante," he greeted, and snorted at the small talk between Sophie and the boy. Of COURSE it had been HER idea. Of course.
Cosgrach sat extra comfortably. Dante would miss all three, so why even get tense thinking he might bet wet at any moment? And sure enough, the first throw was a miss.
"HEHE," he laughed loudly, "I need a hat under this Sun because I'm not getting wet anytime s-"

"If you are wondering, it's always been YOU who failed those potions!" If this was a revenge on him or something! They hadn't been his fault, OKAY?! "And don't you laugh over there." This was at Sophie. UGH. The water wasn't that cold, which was a tragedy. He couldn't demand to be out now. Well. The rest of the kids had better miss their throws.

Gracie was feeling pretty excited for the prefects. She loved all of the past ones that had happened, and was excited to see all the plans that her boyfriend, and the other prefects had done. She'd tried to get him to tell her things, but he'd kept his lips shut. But at least now that she could find out. Smiling, she headed over to the dunk tank, knowing that was the bit that he was going to be at.
A dunk tank was interesting, and she was totally going to be trying to dunk her teachers. She was feeling in an evil mood today, so would be showing her inner slytherin stereotype. But first she wanted to say hi to Caleb. Spotting him, she headed over in his direction. "Hey you..."

When Caleb joined her, Sophie smiled. Wasn't her first choice of partner for this thing - obviously Zander won that spot - but the Newell had grown on her considerably since their first term together. The young man was a nice guy, Evie had helped her see that, so she didn't mind his company one bit. Nah, he was all right.
"Hi, Caleb," she greeted chipperly, her gaze drifting back to the dunker and the dunkee as he asked a very, VERY GOOD QUESTION. "Of course," came her mischievous reply, "I plan on having a go at dunking every single one of them once their line gets shorter." It was only right, wasn't it? Hehehe. That was the BEAUTY of them working this station - they could participate and have ALL the fun with each of the five professors.
A dream come true, really.

The more he told her not to laugh, though, the MORE SHE DID. Hilarious. His taunting of Dante and childlike pointing of a finger at him for his poor work in potions class was the BEST. Haahahahaa.
"So sorry, professor. Just can't help myself." HEHEHEHE.
He was the funniest of all five they'd wrangled in to do this. He was the sourest sport of all, and it was FANTASTIC.

Moxley was looking ravishing, as always, and... it was strange, but not surprising, that not a single person had hurried over to take the opportunity to dunk her. Not surprising at all when she considered that Moxley was a favorite and no one ever wanted to see the woman as the butt of a joke, nor would they even want to tease her. No, everyone ADORED Moxley purely and wonderfully, so... it kind of made sense.
Still, though, no brave souls? Ehhh? Not one would give it a whirl?
"Professor," Soph called up to her from beside the tank. "I think people love you too much to wanna dunk you. Bet they're scared they'll lose their place in your heart." Because who didn't want to be adored by the Moxinator back? "Should I try to rally 'em up? Call 'em over? Tell 'em this is a way of givin' y'some lovin', too?" BECAUSE SHE WOULD.

The Moxinator let out a girlish giggle at the booty-bump and grinned at Paul. "We should have the kids decide who wore it better, though I think you might be ahead with that tutu!" It suited him, something Moxley never dreamed she'd say about a colleague but y'know. "Adds a certain something to the outfit." The wow-factor, if you will. She didn't mind being second in the kid's fashion poll as long as she was first in their hearts, she'd decided.

Okay so as much as she was happy that she was still dry, Moxley wondered what it meant that no one had dunked her. Showed interest in dunking her, even. She hadn't even been visited by any of her students! Did this mean they could sense the vibes she'd been sending out earlier?! She'd been kidding...mostly kidding, anyway! Merlin, she was the prettiest target at the event and not one of them was taking notice. Well, except for Brown. She'd always liked the head girl, did she know?
"Probably just distracted by all the good food, Sophie!" Like, that HAD to be the reason! Speaking of, did the prefects do delivery? She could use a snack while she was sitting up here. "But I'd never say no to some good press. Go on and advertise for me."

The good food? Sigh. Yes. The food they were ALL missing out on over here. Soph's gaze fell in the direction of the food station, longing for some nourishment... and, as Moxley encouraged her to advertise for her, AN INGENIOUS IDEA STRUCK.
"I know! How 'bout I make a run to rally up some people and bring us back nourishment? You'll probably have worked up an appetite by the time all the people I bring back get their turn with you." HOW GREAT OF AN IDEA WAS THAT.
Without waiting for any further reassurance from the Muggle Studies professor, Soph was making a beeline for the food. Caleb could hold his own watching the station in her absence. "I'LL BE BACK, MOXINATOR." KEEP LOOKING HOT.

By the time Olly arrived, it was Professor Morgan's turn to be subject to the dunking. Olly did not really care who he dunked, as long as he got to dunk someone.
"Hello professor." He waved before going to pick up his balls. He got three of them, right? Three tries to dunk the professor. Olly took his position again, with one ball in his hand. He squinted toward the target and threw. It hit, but nothing happened. He must not have thrown hard enough.
Olly picked up his second ball from where it lay by his feet and prepared himself. He made sure to aim toward the target, and this time he threw as hard as he could. This time it hit hard enough, so he successfully dunked Professor Morgan.

A dunk tank was interesting, and she was totally going to be trying to dunk her teachers. She was feeling in an evil mood today, so would be showing her inner slytherin stereotype. But first she wanted to say hi to Caleb. Spotting him, she headed over in his direction. "Hey you..."
OH YAY she'd found him! Not that Caleb had doubted she would, he had told her where he'd been stationed, after all. "Hey! So, check it out - you like the festival?" he asked with a grin, greeting her with a hug. He'd been keeping it a secret not only from Grace, but from his sister as well, which had been SUPER HARD. But he'd been so bad with spilling the beans about the events before, he wanted to have at least ONE fair be a surprise before he left...

"All of them? Do you have some vendettas you need to cash in on?" Caleb joked, although if he had time, he'd probably want to dunk all of them too. But he was planning on using some of his free time for GIRLFRIEND time today, since with NEWTs coming up and all, he hadn't had the best luck carving that into his schedule right now. Sigh.
OOOOOOH SPLASH! There went Morgan. HEHE. So many Divination puns were popping up in his head right now, but he wouldn't add insult to, erm, dunking by stating any of them out loud. Hehehe.

Paul snorted. "Oh PLEASE!" he rolled his eyes playfully and stood on his tippy toes, pretending to be a ballerina for a minute. Moxley was definitely a colleague he felt he could be completely ridiculous and silly with, yes.
"YOU would win because you're MOXLEY." Obviously. "But thaaaaaank you, Meredith." She was a nice lady. Way nice. He should hang out with her more..invite her to tea with him in his office and whatnot.
Hmph.
PAUL WANTED TO BE DUNKED NOW! It looked like so much FUN!
"Meredith, I would be honored if you joined me for tea sometime--" he bowed dramatically and smirked.

"Sorry Professor!" Except he really wasn't.
Oh so someone was coming over to dunk her. Cassie beamed sitting on the little seat. "Hello Olly, are you here to try and dunk me?" She gave him a few snaps, though it was hard to bend her arms with the little swimmers snug against them to help her float. Always trying to be safe, especially right now!
She watched him get ready with the first ball and hit the target but just a tiny tap, "Nice try..." She couldn't help but be thankful that it hadn't it her in. Seeing his next ball...
SPLASH
Down went her seat and down went Cassie into the water. Her swimmers pushing her back up to the surface of the water she took a breath as her head came up and quickly got her self to the little ladder that took her back to her seat. "Very good Olly."
No hard feelings
Though the look on Caleb's face she wondered if she fell very ungracefully to make it so funny. It had been fun though!

Zander Adair was still on his break.
His unofficial break.
The break that he actually didn't know if he had.
Y'know, that. But he was already taking his break so there was no stopping him now. Anyways, as mentioned in some earlier post at the Food Station, Zander Adair had calculated this break to a precise art. Seven minutes for cookies. And eight minutes to dunk Professor-- Well, whichever Professor. Really, Zander would be happy to dunk any of the above.
Also, was Myers wearing a tutu?
...... Interesting.
But never mind that, he had a Professor to dunk. As he made his way closer, he gave Sophie Brown a huuuuuuuge smile. "Hey," he grinned. OH LOOK, there wasn't even a line!! How WONDERFUL!
"Hey Professor," he reached into the bucket to pull out a single baseball. Moxley looked so happy sitting above the water. Much too happy. So of course, Zander had to give her a bit of a splash. It was only the right thing to do. "You can't give me a detention for dunking you, right?" Not that it mattered. She would still be dunked. Ahem. But.... Zander needed to make sure h'd still be a favorite afterwards. HE HAD WORKED SO HARD FOR IT OKAY. Though uh, she signed up for this on her own accord right? She WANTED this.

"Well..." Ahem. "Okay, maybe not ALL of them. Probably not Morgan 'cause I still feel bad that I dropped her class before OWLs, so I'll spare her. The rest of 'em are free game, though. I mean, s'all in good fun, s'like... a weird way of bonding with 'em, y'know?" Of course this wasn't a mean or malicious activity by any means, just a bit of good, clean, harmless fun at the professors' expenses. Hehehehe.
Her own gaze snapping to the dunk tank as a SPLASH! resounded, Soph laughed in good humor, too, at Morgan's dunking by little Olly. Nice throw, baby Slytherin.

Returning from her food station endeavors with TWO plates of food, Sophie griiiinned up at Moxley in the tank and waved the plate that wasn't empty up at her, the other plate whose contents she'd already devoured in her journey tucked underneath it. "Could y'hear me shoutin'? I did a good job. Bet you'll have a line in NO TIME. I advertised for y'super good. I'll keep your food safe till y'get out, 'kay?" Which... mostly meant that she was going to stand over here holding it in one hand, her wand back in her other hand, and try to resist the urge to sneak some of the food off the plate.
Shhh. The kid was hungry, okay?
Not at ALL surprised to see Zander wander over - he could never resist her presence, could he? - she greeted him in return and giggled at his interactions with Moxley, taking the opportunity of the distraction to sneak a bite from Moxley's plate. What? This was a good show which DEFINITELY called for some snacking. How funny would it have been if Moxley told Zander he COULD get detention? Would that make Zander's throws miss? Would she get in Zander's head and THROW HIM OFF? Moxley was tricky one to try to anticipate her actions, so Sophie Brown wasn't even going to try.
But she was very, very excited for this showdown, oh yes.

Grace had to admit she was so happy that Caleb was her boyfriend. He was super hot, and she was feeling a little distracted. "I like it" She murmured, hugging him back. She liked his hugs. She liked him. a lot. She took a step back, glancing around the dunk tank. She totally wanted to dunk one of the professors. But she really did not know who to dunk. "Who do you think I should dunk?" Gracie murmured, glancing back over at him. She totally had to dunk someone, she just needed some advice on which one to dunk.

"Well, when you put it like that.." The Moxinator grinned proudly. Her name did carry a bit of weight around here, being a student favorite and all. It was so hard being adored by all, okay? Still, someone had to do it!
Oh! She was being invited for tea! The brunette had been craving the warm liquidy goodness since hearing all about the kiddos and their tea parties for homework so yes, she thought she'd quite enjoy that. "I'd LOVE to!" She said cheerfully, clapping the Herbology professor on the shoulder and giving him a friendly shake. "I'll bring the biscuits." Which she'd have a student make for her, of course. Adair was still looking to get on her good side, right? ....'COURSE he was.
SPOILER!!: Soph and Zander and Soph again!

One of the things Moxley liked best about Sophie Brown was that she had gumption. Reminded her a bit of herself when she'd been that age. Well except for the whole Ravenclaw business. Yeah, no, no similarity there. Moxley was Gryffindor to the core...and now with the added Hufflepuff center which only added to her charm. But back to the head girl, right. The Moxinator appreciated how she'd run off to get some kids back here and what she appreciated even MORE was that she'd returned with food.
"You're one of a kind, Sophie Brown. I trust you won't eat any of that while I'm up here." She made an 'I'm watching you, kid' gesture with her hand and then winked at the brunette. Good egg, she was.
And look, Mr. Adair! He hadn't brought her any food, she saw. Seriously slacking in the favorite department lately. Maybe he could make it up to her someh-WAIT A SECOND. He was going to dunk her? Is that what this was? WELL. That was unexpected.
"And here I thought you were trying to gain favor with me, Zander." She shook her head in mock disappointment, fighting a smile. It was quite fun to mess with the blondie. Awesome educator right here, clearly. "But no, no detention. Something far worse would be in store for you..." Only losing his place in the Moxinator's big beautiful heart. Was she freaking him out here? Heh.

Checking on Pebbles to make sure she was out of the possible trajectory of and stray water, Airey began twirling his lion tail about a bit to pass the time. Clearly, his polyester stuffed muscles were intimidating.
Or not.
Hello Mr, Truebridge. Funny meeting you here.
"Thankfully for us all," he grinned. "I am not a feline and don't have any aversions to water." Not really, unless it was getting on his suit but he was not wearing one of those today. The handcuff comment, however, did elicit a roaring chuckle from the man. He expected no less, but was also rather pleased that he HAD made a lasting impression.
Not likely to get in another fight anytime soon or take anything that did not belong to use, right? The man could always hope and pretend that to be the case, but he had been a teenage boy at one point - an eccentric one at that - and knew realistic that outlook really was.
"Hit me with your best shot," he winked, his words coming out rhythmically as he spoke them. Hmm...his best shot wasn't really his best it would seem as it went wide. "Why don't you hit me with your best shot?"
Drumming on his thighs with his hands, Airey bopped his head to a beat that only he could hear and offered the Ravenclaw a thumbs up. Naturally, Miss Brown was there to cheer the boy on. He could only imagine the satisfaction the Head Girl had at her [i]collection[/s] of professors lined up and willing to play their part in this little shindig to satisfy the masses. Airey, of course, would have been lined up just like Mr. Truebridge was, to take his shot against his professors back in his day.
He was actually a little relieved to see that the line of revenge was not terribly long as of right now.
"Hit me with your best shot...fire awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!"
Or was that really the Ravenclaw's best shot? An amused smirk tugged at the astronomer's lips as he continued drumming away.

Hehe. Head Girl Sophie Brown thought Davie was looking EXTRA ravishing today. AND she liked his custom shoes! The first year couldn't help showing them off with a little twisty-twist dance. "Thanks, Sophie!" he beamed at her praise. ANd ALSO she was cheering him on against Flamsteed, even though David was a poor shot and would clearly never ever ever make it as a Quidditch player.

Yeah okay, no, Flamsteed. "Stick to your day job, sir, and leave the singing to the professionals!" Davie called out cheekily, lining up to ACTUALLY hit him with his best shot. Only problem was, he wasn't really concentrating, he was thinking about Flamsteed's awful singing of that song that was catchy but which he didn't really know, and so he missed.... AGAIN. The ball went soaring straight for the protective bars in front of the dunk tank, hitting them right above where Airey's face sat and bouncing off with a loud
PING!
"Oooooooopsies," Davie called out cheerfully, all smiles as he lined up again. "I've got it THIS TIME, professor, I promise. Just think of this here base-ball as the asteroid which brought water to Earth!" He let out a positive cackle, aimed the ball, and laughed with glee as it connected with the paddle.
