The Muggle Studies classroom is clean and inviting, sunlight streaming through the windows and casting a warm glow over the entire space. Perhaps this is why Professor Moxley seems to be in such a great mood. The brunette is perched on the corner of her desk at the front of the room, her outfit indicative of today's topic for discussion and her happy face sticker placed on her shirt, showcasing her current mood. Hopefully you're familiar with the new classroom rules because the Moxinator fully expects you to rock a mood sticker soon, as well.
The room is organized a bit differently this time around, the tables creating a big U shape, with Moxley's desk acting like a crown at the top. Once you've greeted the professor, why not sit down and relax a bit? You'll need your energy for today's lesson! That's a promise.

SPOILER!!: Angel
Angel was glad when she was moving again, she had a feeling that this one was a good bowl by Hady and she was glad she was partnering with her friend, they were just so much on the same wavelength which was weird since Hady was a year younger.
*smash*
Angel at the last minute got a bit nervous she had slipped and instead of hitting dead centre like it was going to it had veered to the left and she had a feeling she might have missed one.
She nervously looked around and let out a sigh as she waited for Hady to come and help her out, yes she had missed one and it was all her fault she would apologise to her friend when she was out.
They were on a roll! No pun intended there. Honestly though her and Angel. Great teamwork between them right now. The two were definitely on the same page at the moment.
When Angel the bowling ball ceased movement Hady made her way up the lane to get her friend out of the contraption. Helping the girl to her feet Hady lightly clapped her on the shoulder. "Awesome hit there!" It was. She wasn't just saying that.
Without wasting anytime the hazel eyed snake squirmed her small self into the ball and waited her turn. "Ready when you are partner!"

*SHOVE!*
And the ball was rolling...rolling...rolling down the laaaaane...!
Olly was so ready. He saw David prepare to run, and turned to face the pins. When he felt the push he nearly fell, but managed to stay on his feet. He moved as fast as he could, but it was harder than it looked. Luckily, Olly managed to stay on his feet and he knocked into the pins.
Only 2? He would have liked more, but at least he'd gotten any at all.
"Nice push," he said to David when he got back to his partner. He held his hand up for a high five. Was it almost their turn again? He was all ready to help David in as soon as it was.

Yep, don't mind her, she just... needed... to steady herself very quickly. Just a second... yes. Okay. There. She was okay. No dizzy. All better.
Just in time, too, because Zander was climbing INTO THE BALL FOR THEIR NEXT TURN. OKAY. "I guess you could say... we're on a ROLL." AHEM. Zipping up the ball because he probably didn't want to hear her bad jokes at the moment, Sophie walked backward, guiding the ball with her and getting them set up a way's back behind the lane. She gave the pins another long, hard squint of concentration, figuring out just where they needed to aim... and then without further hesitation, she shoved forward with all her might, rolling Zander... and rolling... aaaand ONE FINAL BIG PUSH just before the foul line as she came to a halt, very nearly falling OVER the line, but just managed to keep her balance and not ruin the turn for them.
GOOOO ZANDER GO.
Zander couldn't even help bursting into laughter at Sophie's joke. Not because it was even that funny, but mostly because it was so extremely nerdy. And yet SHE was the one who always accused HIM of being nerdy. Hm. Oh how tables turn. Kind of like how this ball was starting to turn and turn and turn and HE WAS GOING, GOING, GONE!
Before he knew it he was flying towards the pins. And believe it or not, he wasn't going to fall all over the place this time because he decided to lay across the ball. May not be very good for keeping his head in check, but now at least he wouldn't look like such a mess as he rolled. See? He knew how to strategically look like less of a fool.
AND BOOOOOOOOOM.
Down went..... FOUR pins. AY. Not bad. They were doing really well. Probably had something to do with the fact that EVERY single Professor here decided that practicing aim was always a key point for a class activity. So between the two of them, there was a LOT of practice for this kind of thing.
And as he rebounded towards Sophie, he had the biggest grin on his face. THEY WERE ALMOST THERE. ALMOST AT FIVE ROLLS! THEY COULD DO THIS!!!

Eeep, had that push been too much of a push?! Davie watched, hoping Olly would straighten out a little and still knock down some pins. And he did! Well, he got two, which wasn't terrible. The worst part was yet to come.... Davie's turn in the ball.
Gulp.
"Nice roll," Davie high-fived his partner back. Soon enough, their turn came around again and Davie had to climb into the ball. "Be sure to push me real hard, cuz... I'm not confident at this thing," Davie told Oliver when he got ready.

Brian did always say Timmy was mostly muscle from all the workouts and dancing she did. It was why she would easily carry him sometimes and he'd get tired with her after a few steps.
"Let's rack up lots of points!"
"LETS DO THIS!! Noelle said determined to get some points. She slipped into the bubble thing. It took a minute but when she was finally in she looked at Timmy eagerly. She was ready!
Now, all she had to do was get pushed... And somehow steer into the bowling pins. This should be ta new game. Oh! Maybe her and Sabbie could play! Or her and Noah! That would be fun!
He hoped his strength was good enough to roll a kid in a bubble away. But then as he watched him fly forward and he knew that he had at least some strength in his arms. Those workouts must have paid off!
He was looking at the little kid as he managed to move a bit to the left and as he did so, Yoongi saw a few pins knocked over and he celebrated the hit by throwing his arms in the air. "nice one!" he said as Milo got back and stepped out of the giant ball.
But now it was his turn. Couldn't he let the kid go ten times? But at the same time he did not want to admit he was nervous ...cause when an eleven year old could do it, you know? Besides, it wasn't as if the ball was in the air. He wasn't floating like in astronomy class. Merlin's Beard had he been terrified in that class. He just hoped the Professor didn't get any ideas of this game...
Stepping inside the giant ball, which wasn't that giant to him and he had to bend his head a little to fit in and turned to Milo, fake confidence in his smile. "Alright, zip me up"
He and Yoongi had knocked down more than half of the pins on their first try which was pretty good if you asked Milo. As he watched the Gryffindor getting into the ball, the pins at the end of the lane reset and were all six standing once more. "Okay, get ready!" He as zipped in now. "Three...two...one!" Milo pushed Yoongi and ran two large steps and shoved him just before the foul line. He had to wave his arms and lean back quickly to keep from going headfirst over it, it was hard pushing an older and bigger boy in that ball.
After her big push, Janelle followed Colt down the lane with her eyes. Her body twisted and turned, as if by doing so, she could affect the outcome of the roll. Keeping her fingers crossed, she hoped that they would get some pins knocked down on this try. Once the ball made contact with the pins, Janelle smiled. They got four pins down. Not bad for a couple of Human Bowling rookies.
Rushing down to the bowling ball, Janelle unzipped it and held the sides of the makeshift door open so Colt could get out. "Good job", she said to her partner, reaching to give him a high five. "I hope I can get some points for us without throwing up, that is. Janelle started to move the ball back toward the starting line. It was her turn now, ready or not. Once they were set to try again, she took a deep breath and began to climb into the inflatable ball. Putting on a confident face, she said, "Here goes nothing".
As Colt was getting out of the ball, he did feel a little dizzy. He got out and had to find his footing again. Once he did he saw Janelle getting into the ball. "I am sure you will do fine." he assured her. He wanted her to have all the confidence she can have. He was ready to push her though. Once she was all zipped into the ball, he began to push her faster and faster just like she did moments ago. "Go Janelle Go!" he said as he saw Janelle heading for the pins. He hoped she would get a better score than he did. He hoped she would get a strike. Fingers crossed I guess right?
"LETS DO THIS!! Noelle said determined to get some points. She slipped into the bubble thing. It took a minute but when she was finally in she looked at Timmy eagerly. She was ready!
Now, all she had to do was get pushed... And somehow steer into the bowling pins. This should be ta new game. Oh! Maybe her and Sabbie could play! Or her and Noah! That would be fun!
Timmy beamed and moved back a few steps. Okay, maybe a little run would add more force and knock down more pins. Bouncing a bit on her toes, the blonde sprinted and pushed the bubble, with Noelle inside, towards the pins. She also made sure she didn't cross the foul line.
Please knock some down!

And as he rebounded towards Sophie, he had the biggest grin on his face. THEY WERE ALMOST THERE. ALMOST AT FIVE ROLLS! THEY COULD DO THIS!!!
Grinning at his laughter even after he was launched down the lanes, Sophie watched with anticipation... and... four. Eh. FOUR. She SHOOK HER FIST at the two pins that remained standing, cursing them mentally, but straightened up and got her act together as Zander came rolling back. She tried to put on a cheery disposition for him so he wouldn't see that she was disappointed in herself - she should've done WAY BETTER than that, y'know? - and unzipped the ball, offering a hand to help him out, then ended up pulling him in for a hug. Partly to stabilize him from potential dizziness, but mostly because she felt dumb for not getting a strike for him.
She detached from him as they waited for their next turn, not wanting Moxley to scold them for PDA from hugging, and offered to him quietly, "Think we're at... nineteen now? This is our last go. S'not a bad average, s'like..." nineteen divided by four, "just short of a five-pin average. D'you think that's 'nuff to win?" She didn't know. They were facing a lot of really good-looking pairings, and some of them were doing just as well if not better than them. What if they LOST? What if two seventh years who were supposed to be good role models lost to, like... first years?
The pressure of the badge was getting to Sophie Brown's head, but at least this roll was out of her hands. She just got to be in the ball and hope for the best.
When it was their turn again, Soph gave Zander an encouraging smile and climbed into the ball, got herself situated, and gave him her customary thumbs-up to let him know she was ready when he was.

Noelle looked at the pins instead of looking at Timmy as she took off to push her. Noelle felt the jolt and whoosh, she was sailing towards the pins. Only, she had no idea where she was going because she had no control.
She was a tumbling, squealing, laughing mess inside the ball. Oh man! This was fun!
Noelle felt herself got something though, she wasn't sure what. But she had stopped and was in a fit of giggles! How many had they knocked down?

Timmy cheered as Noelle knocked down six pin!
Yay! Timmy quickly helped Noelle out of the bubble and got in herself. Hopefully her legs were good for something other than dancing. Come on, Noelle, you can push Timmy a distance to knock down more pins! But Timmy knew she would pretty much tumble in her bubble and get less pins down.

They had this.
Zander was actually really happy with the four pins and he was smiling super big at her to indicate it. Four out of six was a really great number, okay? But anyways, he appreciated the hug because he probably would've fallen right over as he got out. "We've got this, Soph," he really DID want to win, but if they didn't... It wouldn't be the end of the world, right? 'Cause it was only bowling after all. Not a true game of skill or anything...
Anyways, he helped Sophie get into the ball and zipped her in rather quickly. Merlin, if they didn't win at least he became practically professional at setting this whole thing up. They had it down to a science at this point. Practically wasted no time getting in and out of the plastic inflated ball.
And..... It was their turn again so he rolled the ball (and Soph) a little further back from the lane so he could get them a running start at the pins. "READY, SET, GOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Ane he ran pushing the ball in front of him letting go a foot before the fault line just in case and watched as Soph went spinning over.
AND THERE SHE WENT CRASHING TOWARDS THE PINS!
But how many? He couldn't quite see. THE ADRENALINE MAN, IT WAS THERE.

Janelle was inside the ball and her heart started to pound. She tried to tell herself that she would not get sick playing this game. Colt tried to reassure her and she appreciated his attempt. All of a sudden, she was moving. The ball that Janelle was inside, started to pick up speed. As she rolled faster and faster, she heard her partner cheering her on. She had to suck it up and keep going, even though she was starting to get dizzy. And to think, she was going to have to do this again.
Finally, Janelle felt the ball hit the pins. Thank Merlin her turn was over.......for now. She felt dizzy and wobbly and the thought of doing it all again did not appeal to her much. But.......Janelle was a competitor. She liked to win and in this case, she would just have to take one for the team. Looking over the pins, Janelle realized that they had knocked down seven of them. As she tried to remove herself from the ball, she addressed her partner. "We got seven, You did great. Now I get to push you again." That is, as soon as the room stopped spinning.

He cocked an eyebrow at her when she suggested he go in the ball first. Was it because he was small? Huh? HUH?!
...fine, he'll go in first. Just because she was pretty and all.
He squeezed into the gigantic plastic ball, struggling to maintain his balance. "Don't I get a helmet or something?"
Kate honestly had no idea what she was doing. How did they even score? Was that even said? She thought about this as Cal squeezed himself into the plastic ball. "This thing is just a claustrophobic fit waiting to happen," she said, wondering if he'd even know what she was talking about. She shrugged when he asked about a helmet. "I don't think so. She didn't say anything about it, at least."
"Okay, well...of we go!" she exclaimed. She got Cal all situated and safely in, and then she pressed her hands against the side of the ball. She backed up to give herself some momentum, and then she TOOK OFF. "You can do it, Cal!" She ran all the way to the foul line, pushing the ball the whole time. When she reached the foul line, she stopped and let the ball go. It was up to Cal to do the rest.

It actually worked out really well that she had gotten into the ball first, Sophie thought, because that meant Zander got the most turns at rolling her toward the pins. So far, he'd done WAY better than her and knocked down eleven compared to her eight in their two turns, so it was SUPER lucky that he got to BRING THEM HOME WITH ONE LAST ROLL. It was especially encouraging that Zander said they HAD THIS. He must have been feeling more confident than she felt, which was another strong asset. See, world? Zander Adair could DO THINGS. He was a STRONG MANLY MAN who was AWESOME, just like Sophie Brown had been telling everyone ALL ALONG.
She could hear his muffled shouting to prepare her for take off, and Soph put her GAME FACE ON as if that would help them knock down more pins-- AND SHE WAS OFF! Rolling rolling rolling-- CRASH!
As usual, Sophie had to take a moment to gather herself, shaking off the dizziness, then looked up through the ball to see... two pins still standing over on the right side. She'd gone too far left, it seemed, but... four pins was still good, yeah?
But was it GOOD ENOUGH?
Rolling back toward Zander, Soph gave him a big ol' grin. "YOU WERE AWESOME." Could he hear her? Or read lips? When he let her out of the ball, he was getting ANOTHER big hug, okay?

Now what?
Timmy laughed and tied her hair up in a ponytail, then high fived Noelle back. "We should try this on the water next time," She whispered to the girl. That would be so much more fun, but the weather was getting colder now. So maybe not so much. Then again, there were heating charms and all that.
Now, to wait to see how won. Would the winner get like extra house points or no homework? Seemed like a fair win.

"Time!" Moxley clapped her hands together, her smile ever-present. She jumped down from her desk and approached the lanes, hands on her hips as she took in the scene. She'd been trying to keep track of the scores as they went and from what she could tell, there had been a few front running teams. Ms. Valentine and Ms. Lynch had been close but it seemed like the victory was going to go to Ms. Brown and Mr. Adair. How fitting.
"You all did wonderfully but it seems like our top bowlers today are none other than the Head Girl and Head boy!" Moxley was pleased. "They can pick up their mini bowling trophies on my desk on their way out. Nicely done." GRIN! "As for the rest of you, please feel free to keep your bowling shirts and I hope you have a nice rest of your day! Keep an eye on the noticeboard for homework!" With that, class was done. Now Moxley got a chance to bowl a bit, yes?

And then she heard it. Her. Moxley. Saying the Head Boy and Head Girl had won and suddenly Tia felt a surge of envy. Totally rigged. They totally rigged it. She was sure of it. Whatever, she didn't need no mini-trophy. Cause she was a pink lady. And pink ladies had a status all of their own.
"I think we did pretty well." Tia nodded and smiled at her new friend.
