A bit confused about the plot? Too much happening in the different departments to keep up? Coworkers talking about a mysterious something going bump in the night? Here's where you can catch up on happenings in and around the Ministry of Magic -- out of character, of course.
This means that unless your character heard this stuff from other people or witnessed the actual event, your character doesn't know about it.
Also, this is a reminder to everyone to only post updates on the ministry plot here. Please do not post the happenings of your characters in here - that kind of chat goes in the Ministry Mutterings thread.

I'll kick this thread off by saying that Doyle Branxton has arrived from Hogwarts having been accidentally obliviated by a student. He's up on Level Three getting sorted out. An obliviator has just finished restoring the memories.
Also, if you haven't been up to Level One, yet make sure you check out the Minister's Office. Minister Cooper has his secretary running around making wedding plans in addition to her normal workload. 
So, what else is going on in the Ministry?

You wanted more places to RP your Ministry character... and we've delivered! From this point forward, feel free to RP your Ministry character in Diagon Alley! During the time between terms, you will be allowed to RP both a Ministry character and a student character (if you have one). Once the school term begins, student characters will no longer be allowed in Diagon Alley, but Ministry workers will be! In other words, you can always post your Ministry character in Diagon Alley!

Thought things had died down at the Ministry? Think again! Chiarra (the murderous entertainer mentioned above) has attacked the French Minister! He is being tended to by the Indian Minister and Rebecca Todd, though his future does not look good.
Meanwhile, Reagan Taylor has captured Miss Chiarra and is tending to the Minister's wife, Clara, who was bitten by Chiarra in mosquito form.
A hoard of Law Enforcement is currently on the scene and as some try to get a better understanding of what is going on, drama breaks out again! Nicoli Vanhatck moved Chiarra's body and decided to guard her for the remainder of the time that they would be in the Break Room. However, Forrester Hufflepuff seems to have thought Chiarra was a victim. He administered first aid, to the shock of Nicoli. Nicoli then proceeded to tie him up...

Headmistress Molyneux, Beaubatons Academy of Magic, and Headmaster Bachev, Durmstrang Institute, have arrived on level five (International Magical Cooperation). They're just getting themselves into the department conference room and they sure don't look happy. What will become of the issue of the amount of students from both schools transferring to Hogwarts? Will the school Heads get their way and get their students back? Or will they just have to live with their students being enrolled at Hogwarts rather than in their own schools?
In other juicy Ministry gossip, Colin MacKenzie, Keeper of the Montrose Magpies, has arrived on level seven and is currently looking for Rex Vinductus, Head of the Magical Games and Sports Department, to "have a little chat" with him. Perhaps this has something to do with the little Quidditch match that occured at Hogwarts? Maybe.
