Laura wasn't happy, she stood around the corridor waiting for her friend Anya to appear they had agree to meet here but Anya hadn't shown up, for some reason her friend seem to be ignoring her lately she had no idea why, maybe Anya didn't want to be friends with her anymore.

Anya ran up to the 5th corridor. She was held up again at practice. Selina really, really must have wanted them to win their upcoming match against Ravenclaw.

She skid to a halt at the corner that she planned to meet Laura.

"Sorry. Late. Practice. Selina. Crazy." Anya managed to breathe out between gasps for air.

But she did take the world's quickest shower and sprinted up the stairs as soon as she as practice was over.

Laura looked at her friend Anya and snapped. "Sorry, Anya I would normally accept that but you have been doing far too oftence lately." Laura was feel really abandoned by her friend, last term they had spend loads of time together but this term they had hardly spend much time together.

Laura felt like walking upto Anya and slapping her but at the minute she restrained herself. "So Anya what's the real reason you are abandoning me." Laura thought that Quidditch was just a cover up for something else.

Anya frowned. "I'm sorry." she repeated. It wasn't like she had any control over when practices were. Plus, Selina may have been putting her through extra practices since the whole boy rumor thing.

She gasped at the accusation coming from her friend. "What?! I swear I haven't been doing it on purpose!" she shot back. It's not like she planned to just drop the ball on all the times they were supposed to hang out.

"Maybe you're the one that's covering up for something." Like... maybe this was Laura's excuse for getting out of their friendship? Was that what was going on?

Laura looked at Anya. "We'll it seems like you are." Laura snapped seriously if Anya didn't want to hang out with her then all she had to do was say she didn't want to hang out.

Laura stared at Anya, it wasn't her fault that Anya was turning up late all the time, seriously it was like Anya had no time for her and she couldn't figure out why. "It's not me that turning up late everytime we meet up but maybe I will next time and let you just stand in a corridor waiting." Laura shoved Anya, "So...." Laura started to say but couldn't help giggling. "Actually you deserved that." Laura was even now.

Minerva made her way to another Corridor. She looked around to see if anyone was out. It was early in the morning so she assumed no one would be up yet. She pulled the flyer out of her bag and pulled out her wand. She checked to make sure she had the student flyer this time and not the staff flyer by mistake. Once she new she had the correct flyer she placed it on the wall.

She looked around again and placed the flyer up a few other places down the corridor to make sure students would see them. She wanted a great turn out for the rally and she hoped it would be a big success. Turning she left to find another place to put up the next set of signs.

Anya crossed her arms in front of her chest. "You're being ridiculous." she retorted.

Yeah... Anya Phillips was not the master of comebacks...

Oh! And... Anya was being shoved...

She gasped at the Hufflepuff. Did Laura really just... shove her?

"That's... not funny." Anya said struggling to keep a straight face. It was just SO hard with Laura giggling like that.

Laura looked at Anya and giggled. "Sorry Anya but it is." Why couldn't she stay mad with her friend, maybe it was because they had meet that day when they were both lost." Laura looked at Anya and smirked. "Seriously Anya you need to work on them come backs because you aren't very good." Laura wondered what to say next she wasn't going to say sorry because Anya was being ridiculous about her being shoved.

"Aw. You're not even going to let me pout about being shoved?" Anya complained. "And fine. It was funny, but I'm going to deny it if it's ever mentioned again." she said before letting out a few giggles.

"Yeah. I know. I usually don't need to use comebacks." she said with a shrug. She'd never really had anyone mad at her before...

"So... um... how have things been? Tell me everything."

Laura looked at her friend. "Nope." Laura giggled as she gave her friend another shove but this time it was a gentle friendly shove. "I know it was funny." Laura looked at her friend and smiled.

Laura hugged her friend. "OH well I could teach you some come backs one day." Laura was brilliant at making come backs, she had to use them loads of times.

Laura smiled at her friend. "OH it has been great, got a detention coming up apparently if a Professor says no shoes then it's no shoes even if you don't think that's right, people have smelly feet you know." Laura giggled. "Oh and I've tried to destroy a wall accidently of course the Professor sort of challenge me to do something but it went wrong." She thought hard to see if she missed anything but couldn't think of anything. "What about you?"

Anya stuck out her tongue at Laura. Yeah. If she was getting shoved, then Laura totally deserved a tongue poke.

Anya hugged the Hufflepuff back. "Sounds brilliant." she said with a nod. "If you think I can pull them off." She was normally pretty nice.

She chuckled. "Oh! I've always wondered what detentions were like..." Not enough to get one, but... she was curious. She giggled. "I'm guessing the wall won?" she asked.

She shrugged. "Just quidditch really." she said. "Oh! But I did get the sweetest birthday present from Blakey. He made me a scrapbook with lots of old pictures. And he wrote the nicest note I've ever seen." She really couldn't believe they'd been friends for a decade now.

Laura looked at Anya and stuck her tounge out of her before shoving her but accidently shoving her to hard and Anya went into the wall. "I'm sorry." Laura started to say but couldn't help but giggle, it had been so funny.

Laura smiled at Anya. "I'll have to see what detention is like, I bet it will be great." Laura giggled. "I'm glad that you had fun on your birthday and yes the wall did win."

Oomph. And then Anya hit the wall. Literally. "Hey. That one actually hurt." she said rubbing her arm a little.

And... she wasn't laughing that time. No, sir.

"Sounds good." she said. "Who's it with?" She was just curious as to which Professors weren't forgiving. "Yeah. It was a good one. Lucky number 13." Officially a teenager.

Laura looked at Anya. "I said sorry." Laura stuck her tounge out at her friend, she seriously needed to stop shoving her friend so much, Laura ran upto her friend and hugged her.

"It's with the new Charms Professor." Laura giggled, "I can't think of her name." Laura which that she knew what the Professor's name was. "That is so cool but it means you are growing up."

Goodness. Laura was crazy. It seemed like she was only capable of either shoves of hugs.

Hehehe. That rhymed.

"Ohh... the mean one?" she asked. "I think she's Tye's mum..." she mused. "Do you remember him? He was a Hufflepuff last term." A very weird one...

She nodded. "Yeah. It's only been a few days... but it's been a weird few days." It's like she oozed 'I'm practically a grown up'.

Laura looked at Anya and smiled. "I remember him, he was very annoying and didn't do much work." Laura giggled as she tugged Anya hair. "I think we should do a make over on each others hair one day." Laura giggled.

Laura sighed. "Yeah but growing up isn't very good." Laura sighed, "You have to take responsiblity for your actions and then you get taken over and start to lose all the fun you once had." Laura didn't like the sound of that.

Anya smiled. "Ooh! That sounds good! I like braiding. I could braid your hair!" she suggested.

She chuckled. "Yeah... but growing up has it's perks too. Like... you get more stuff... you know more..." And then there were boys... Anya was starting to like the growing up bit when it came to them. Even if they caused her to go into a fit of giggles.

Laura looked at Anya. "That's settled then we can do it one day soon." Laura smiled. "You should sleep over at my house next summer, I'm sure my mum wouldn't mind it." Laura smiled at Anya she was glad that they had made up and where friends again.

Laura looked at Anya. "Yeah I know that." Laura said truthfully, she was starting to fall for a guy but she didn't want anyone to know that just yet, she had only told her sister about it.

ICECREAM!ICECREAM!ICECREAM!

"I like ice cweam, I like ice cweam..."

Blue skipped down the corridor, an ice cream in hand despite the fact it was FREEZING outside. She licked the vanilla ice cream and beamed, a ring of white already surrounding her mouth. YUMYUMYUMMY. Blue stumbled on a loose uh...stone... on the ground and her ice cream went sailing across the air and landed on the floor. ...The dirty floor.

NOOOOOS.

"Yeah. I'd like that. You could come spend the night sometime with me too." Anya said.

Anya tilted her head to the side and smiled. She looked Laura over carefully. That wasn't something she expected her to say... which meant...

"Do you like someone?"

Laura looked at Anya and hugged her. "I'd love too." Laura was going to be best friends with Anya for ever, she wanted to have loads of BFF's.

Laura looked at Anya and could feel herself blushing as she said. "Well, I er, I er, I no I don't, eh I." Laura was getting confused she trusted Anya but she wasn't sure if Anya would spread it around the school.

Evelyn walked down the corridor, swinging ber bag along. She was looking for a quiet place to study. The common was always noisy and the library just made her feel depressed so the fifith floor corridor it was. Frankly, she would have prefered the grounds but it was just way too chilly outside.

She was just about to sit down when...

.. "BLUE!" Evelyn said, a huge smile spreading across her face. However, the smile faded when she noticed the younger girl crying. She quickly walked over to the younger girl and kneeled down on the floor. "What's wrong?" The Hufflepuff was clearly oblivious to the ice-cream on the floor.

Anya bounced on the balls of her feet. "Liar." she said in a sing-song voice. "You do like someone!" she said happily. Yup. Anya could tell! She giggled.

"You going to tell me who?"

Laura looked at Anya. "Okay I'll tell you, he's a few years older than us and his name is Oakey, I had some fun with him at the start of term feast and since then I can't get him out of my head." Laura sighed, "It's like he doesn't notice me though."
