The hinges of the glass doors to the student bulletin board creaked slightly as Cutty opened them. He was doing the thing again. The thing where he advertised his wares. He'd made a considerable profit last year, being as how he was one of few students to have stocked up for the unexpectedly long, harsh & entrapping winter. He pulled the little advertisement from his robes and stared down at it admiringly. The witch he'd had made them was really quite good.

A sticking spell was placed on the underside of the business card and he stuck it fast to the bulletin board.




"Geminio!" He aimed his wand at the card hitting it with a self-replicating spell. Touch it and take one of the copies produced by the spellbound item.

With a smaller, shorter creak, the cabinet was shut and the fourth year was on to other business.

He was here again. The astronomer had all but given up on his Carolina blue silk tie, but seeing how well his Missing and Wanted posters had paid off last term, he was hopeful that perhaps this term could be THE term. It was traumatizing to have had his first term on staff marked by such a negative memory as one of his precious ties being stolen right out of his office.

Approaching the bulletin board, he found his gaze taken by the little business card inside. Oh, look at that! He could take one. Certainly had to have one of these. Plucking the topmost, Airey pocketed the card and made a mental note to seek out Mr. Mordaunt right away. One, so he could make a humble purchase and contribute to the Slytherin's business...and two so he could get the young entrepreneur to sign the card. That way the astronomer could ensure that he had the first autograph if the future galleonaire.

Card nestled in the comforts of his trouser's pocket, Airey placed his own poster right smack dab in the middle of the board for all to see with a sticking spell.



This term. Yep. Definitely this term Silky would be coming home!

Giving his own poster a firm salute, Airey walked away from the board and towards the dungeons.

Thornton had made a decision!

Walking up to the bulletin board, he stretched to add his own handwritten notice. Not knowing how to do a sticking spell, he grabbed one of the few tacks he saw and stuck the note near the missing poster for the tie.



Stepping back, he nodded, satisfied, before walking back the way he had come.

This was SERIOUS, so serious that the Gryffindor was determined to walk the length of the corridor a million times if she had to. Up and down ALL 142 stairs that were in this bloody castle that ATE things! You lose consciousness for a week or two and suddenly you can't find your most prized possessions next to your kneazle--and she couldn't find him either at first so that wasn't saying much!! One way or another, she'd find them, she NEEDED to.

"Adhaero." That way NO ONE could just rip it off the board in hopes no one else saw it. People had the cunning. There were idiots here but some had more than average intelligence on an off day. She wouldn't take the chance.

Thwack! Right on there.



She scribbled her name on each at the end, so people who didn't already know her wand and candy bag would know who to contact. And now to go pasting this elsewhere.

Dragging his feat to the bulletin board, the Astronomy professor lazily opened the glass and paid no attention to any of the other notices placed there. Save for his previous one on his missing tie. A tie that was now joined by THE REST OF HIS WARDROBE and his pet rock as well. He quite literally had been left with only pajamas in his closet, which explained his current attire, and everything that had not been folded nearly in a drawer was GONE. Save for that Captain Hook costume that was in need of some serious House Elf cleaning magic and then muggle dry cleaning "magic" on top of that.

Wishing that his Spock pajamas could have been clean so he could have strut around in those rather than what he wore now, he tacked two more notices to the board side-by-side.



He was beginning to wonder if he should put Pebbles up for adoption. He clearly was not suited to be her owner considering he had now lost her TWICE.

CUE A DRAMATIC SIGH!
