-sniffs- It's been almost a week since I closed up my requests. However, I've been working on some grabbags. ^____^ I've got a LOT of stuff to post, and the main bulk of it is Vampire Diary icons I've been accumulating... I think I'll have to break that up into two sets; the old set and the new stuff. xD I'm not quite as fond of my old set as the newer stuff, but I'm going to post it anyway. xD
So, my first icon dump isssss Vampire Diaries! I know that Gemma has already posted a lovely set in her shop, as well, so, the more the merrier? =D These ones were made towards the beginning of the summer, hence the... uh... muckiness of many. You can tell I was struggling to find a style I really liked xD There's some in here I like, though. =] Mmm, many Damon, because Ian Somerhalder is BEAUTIFUL.

I wind up using it a lot, sometimes (like that icon) it's more noticeable than in others. as for that icon style of mine? I'm glad you like it! I'm particularly fond of it. Not a texture. =D Very easy to make. 100x100 black base, place my image on it and then I use the pencil tool to draw lines. Sometimes, I'll use the rectangular marquee to draw it and then fill it; depends on if I'm lazy or not. =D

It's not too soon to be posting another grab-bag is it?
Vampire Diaries part two is coming later because, much as I love it and pretty as it is, I'm absolutely in love with this new set I've been working on. For the SSI contest, I got into the love theme and found a lot of pretty pictures I wanted to work with and just kept finding more and more and more and more... ;____; Thus came my day long icon creation frenzy. While their style is rather different from my usual bright style, I was totally feeling the vintage/aged coloring. Turns out, there's many ways to age an icon! Guh. Totally hoping you enjoy this coloring for as long as it lasts. =D
