"Thank you, sir," Dianna smiled and left. She knew her mom wanted her back. So Dianna stepped outside to see a beautiful morning sky and birds flying.

Oh, yeah right... In the conference room..

Looking around the room Rachel spotted a cluster of people around the work desks. They wern't really working were they? Uh, work. On her first day as well.
She put her hands in her pockets and walked over. She might as well get a desk while they were avaliable. And meet some people.

Gavin was about to return to his desk when a young woman walked over into the office and toward the first set of desks. "Hello...may I help you?" he asked with a polite smile as he approached her ready to assist if she needed it. Which seeing as she was a new face, he figured she did.

"Arigatou" Utau bowed her head and went to seat in the yellow desks, starting to personalize it with a small vase with roses.

Hands still in pockets, Rachel looked around until she heard someone speak to her. He was speaking to her right? She was even stupid enough to look behind her, she just wasn't used to people helping.
"Oh, um yeah." she nodded feeling around it her pocket and producing some gum. "Hello, I'm Rachel. I'm new here..." Obviously! That was so how she was coming across. "And I'm part of the Invisability Task Force?" Did she have to be somewhere, or..?

"Nice to meet you Rachel...I'm Gavin. Welcome to the department," he started out returning the introduction before paying attention to the second bit of information. "Ah then you would be working with in the green area down at he far end of the office." he informed her pointing in that direction and looking for a specific person who was helping out from that division. "A Landon Rinaldi should already be there with another new employee so I'm sure he can help get you settled. Other then that just chose an unclaimed desk and your all set for now."

Landon smiled pleasantly. The new girl would take no time to settle in then. She seemed warm enough to fit in. "Neria, it is then" yep yep.

His eyes followed her as she began to set her things on the desk, she had chosen. "Currently, we are not working on something major, really." he responded - trying to hide his own disappointment. There had nothing major since he had started to work here. Just .. paper work. "No event that would require our assistance has arrived, yet" he added.

His name was coming up in conversations way too many times today. Landon turned, upon hearing his name and noticed yet another new comer standing near Gavin.

So many girls in the Invisibility Task Force.

Fun.

"Over here .." he called out - trying to get the new girl's attention. "You can join us Invisibility Task Force people .. here,"

"Yep," Dianna said and smiled. "It's good you remembered me.
"What division are you in? I'm in the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad. The divisions are color-coded.

She was welcome! At least that was something. "Thanks. I'm looking forward to working here." Especially on pay day.
She turned to the direction he was pointing and smiled. Green, her favourite colour! "Awesome. Thanks for the help." she grinned and popped the gum in her mouth. She better go get a desk then.

She'd just started towards the green sector of the office when someone called out. Again she was stupid enough to look behind her, then realised it was her. Great start to her first day!
"Um, hi." she said making her way over, hands still in pockets. "I'm Rachel Smith..." and she wasn't sure what to do now...

Emerald just came to work, feeling extremely tired. Last night, she couldn't fall asleep until three in the morning. It's not the first time she didn't rest well. Maybe Emerald just needed to drink LESS coffee in the evening *sob* and more tea.

She pulled the chair from under the desk, sighing every now and then. Emerald took a sip of her morning coffee and started to read the Daily Prophet. Morning is definitely NOT Emerald's favorite part of the day. That's why she mostly take afternoon or evening tasks. It's almost useless to ask Emmy to do something so early in the morning.

Natasha strode into the office and glanced around her disdainfully. The room was full of the noise and hustle and bustle of newcomers trying to find their way to free desks. She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth impatiently and stood where she was, attempting to look as tall and imposing as was possible, as she waited for someone to show her to her desk.

Gavin watched as Landon caught his name being called and identified himself to his new collegue. "You're welcome," he said to Rachel as she thanked him. He once more tried to return to his desk and was nearly there when a woman entered the office area.

Looks like we got a mad rush of new employees...

Taking a deep breath, Gavin came up to her, noticing the look and behavior she had taken on and inconsciously slipping into the behavior he had held when division head. "Yes...may I help you?" he questioned simply still welcoming but with a slight air of authority.

Zora chuckled since Kammy thought that her name was childish. "I think your name is quite cute,"she replied.

Zora got settled down a bit. She put all her stuff on her table next to Kammy's and decided to carry on with their conversation. Since they didn't have to receive any training or job yet, she decided to get to know more about this girl. "So, did you study at Hogwarts before?"she asked,smiling.

Kammy rolled her eyes, but she was still smiling. "Well, thanks," and she stared closely at her bare desk. She needed to decorate it, or something. And she needed more paperwork...ha! to make it look more professional!

She looked up at Zora and nodded. "Yep. All seven years...some of the best years of my life!" she remarked, but not in a sad way. She was still living the best years of her life...Hogwarts didn't end her happiness or anything. "I assume you did...?" assumptions weren't always a good thing, but since the other woman had asked, she assumed that Zora had went there. Hmm. Kammy wondered if they had known each other.

Jade Gemstone walked into the A&C holding her assignment papers in her hand. As she walked into the massive office area she was amazed at the amount of people and how much things were getting done at once.

She wasn't quite sure of what she should do next but none the less she was really excited to meet her new co-workers

"Hello...may I help you?" Gavin asked spotting a woman enter the office. She had the look of amazement only a new employee could have at least one to th department. And it was amazing at times how the work within the ministry was accomplished.

Jade looked up and smiled, "Yes, thank you. I'm just so lost. You wouldn't know where the Office of Misinformation division is by any chance? That's where I'm supposed to be. This place is so big."

"Oh..." Neria put the last item on her desk, a gigantic book about Potion ingredients, and put the box down on the floor. "So... Paperwork it is then." She smiled towards Landon and tried not to look too disappointed. She wanted adventure and fun! Maybe she was doomed to handle paperwork for all eternity.



Neria looked at Rachel and smiled confidently, "Hi, I'm Neria," she said while reaching out her hand for the girl to shake. Even if she had to do paperwork for all eternity, she would at least be accompanied by a good looking guy and a lovely girl.

Rachel looked to the other new girl that was being shown around the office and grinned back. Woop, new people!
"Hi Neria." she shook her hand, pleased to not be the only new person here. "So you're new to the Invisibility Task Force too huh?" Stupid question really since she'd just been told that, but she continued to smile and added "Looking to forward to working with ya!"

"Yeah, I'm new here aswell," Neria said while shaking Rachel's hand. "Landon here just told me a bit about what we're currently working on," She leaned in closer as if to tell Rachel a secret. "Paperwork. Exciting, huh?" Neria grinned towards the girl, but gave Landon a quick and horrified look. Had she insulted him by mocking the fact that they were just doing paperwork? She hurriedly held up her hands in a defencive way towards Landon, "Oh, I didn't mean it like that! I am actually very excited to start this job." Now it sounded as though she was mocking the Ministry and the way they ran this department. Neria hadn't felt this awkward in a long time...

"Me too, I'm Spills and Contamination Containment Officer." Kevin replied and smiled.

"So, where should I be??" he asked again.

Blake stopped short and looked at the man speaking to her. She wasn't sure who her boss was and who she was supposed to report to. "You can point me in the direction of my new desk and my boss." she told him matter of factly.

"Yeah it is, isn't it?" Gavin mused in agreement with a nod. "But I assure you it wont take long before it feels like its no big deal. Annnd I do know where the Office of Misinformation is as I'm the same division.," he assured her with a smile.

"Gavin McNally, senior reminscator," he introduced, "and our work area is the blue stations right up front here," the thirty-something finished, pointing out the correct workstations for her to know exactly where to go.

Gavin would happily do both but it wasn't entirely so easy to do so at the current time. "Well if by boss you mean department head, I can't seeing as our past one needed to step down and no new one has been appointed yet," he answered, giving the information on Iridesca first.

"As for desk, I'd need to know your division first since the work areas are broken up."

Landon was glad that Neria was in her comfort zone and not the type who would take her time to warm up to the environment. Very quick as he always was, the twenty two year old decided he liked her - yep.

When another new girl arrived, Landon put up his best smile yet again. "Hello Rachel, I am Landon. You would be working with us," he told her - not failing to notice that this girl was not like Neria. Shy, yeah. Well there was one in every department. Nevertheless, gentleman as he was - he would not back away from welcoming her.

He didn't say much when the two girls started to chat up. That was until Neria started joking around. His brow rose when she started mocking the 'paperwork'. Oh really now? Noticing her immediate reaction to her own mocking, Landon couldn't help but keep up the charade of judging her. Like he had minded what she had said.

But a grin soon broke through, seeing her defensive style and awkward expression. "It would be fun working with you, Miss Neria." he said, chuckling softly. "With both of you," he added, turning to look at Rachel as well.
