The Secret Garden

This is an RP between Archer Burton (Jessiqua) and Gabby Burton (WhittyBitty). They met and instantly fell for each other. Adventure seekers, and Slytherins, they packed themselves up in Archer’s magical tent, and together, travelled the world.

Along the way, they made two beautiful girls; Valeria and Liana

Scene List
Scene One; after meeting in the Leaky Cauldron, and Archer having invited the beautiful Gabby to a beach in Brazil, the two decided to meet up again in two weeks time, and travel to Brazil. Archer brings his tent, and Gabby brings her glorious self.
Scene Two; from Brazil to France, from the fun first time meeting, to the serious conversations they needed. Gabby tells Archer about her past.
Scene Three; While visiting family, Gabby and Archer make a baby discovery.
Scene Four; Back in England, in their tent, Lynley (Gabby's boss and friend) comes over to meet little Valeria.
Scene Five; Gabby and Archer have Dimitri and Alana Burton over for dinner, in their tent - England.
Scene Six; The Burtons are at home in the tent, and Valeria starts to walk!
Scene Seven; Zhenya visits Gabby!

Archer grinned, already missing his little cherub. He'd probably want to sneak in with Lana to have another peak at her.

And then he laughed. "I'm not surprised. I get a bit like that when I see other people's gardens." Being a herbologist, it was sometimes hard to stop being in control of other people's gardens. And Dima might be the same with food other people cooked for him. Understandably. "You'll have to cook something for us one day, Dima." Archer would look forward to that.

Archer blinked at Gabby's quiet comment. How could he have slipped on that? He gave himself a mental kick, and quickly filled his and Lana's glasses. "Oh none left, sorry babe." He stood up and got another bottle, this one non-alcoholic, and poured it into Gabby's glass. He gave her a little wink and sat back down.

Gabby nodded. There would definitely be time for Alana and Dima to see Valeria before they left. Archer would probably go with them so that he could check up on her. Hopefully she would stay asleep for a good while unless it was to eat.

As the conversation turned to food and gardens, she laughed. "If we lived in a house I think we would have a massive garden, but as it is at least we have the lab." Obviously the house they owned had a garden, but Gabby didn't count that since they didn't go inside there very often. Nope. That was where Aoife and Rory lived. "Thank you dear," she added as Archer poured her a drink. Smiling, she returned the wink. It was about time for them to make the announcement.

Grinning, she took hold of her gorgeous husband's hand and squeezed it. Did he want to do the honours?

"If you had a huge garden, Archer would spend all of his time there and not with you, Gabby.'' It was just a tease but Lana said it with as much of a serious expression that she could muster. She sipped her drink and eyed Gabby and Archer. They were being very mushy enough to make anyone throw up but not Lana. She found every thing cute.

When did they eat? Being the wife of a chef, Alana had developed quite the fondness for food. She supposed she could wait a little longer if her stomach would let her... plus she wanted to see the baby!

Archer gave his Gabby the lovey-dovey eyes. Ahh, a big garden. She knew him well. He put his arm around her. "It would be the best garden in the UK. The lab's good though, I don't have to worry about people poking around with new experiments and asking about specific breeds I have growing down there." At work it was a whole different story, of course. He let out a laugh at Lana's comment. "I couldn't give up time with my wife. She'd be out there with me, showing me her new bikinis and things." He looked back to Gabby to give her a wink.

Archer could decipher Gabby's look and hand squeeze. He gave her a big smile and turned back to their guests. "Uhh Lana, Dima, we have a bit of an exciting announcement," the man said, with a very wide grin on his face. "We're expecting another baby!"

Returning her husband's loving look, Gabby proceeded to lean her head against him. She was starving but didn't care about that or the fact that Alana and Dima might find them overly mushy; she was really happy right now.

Laughing at the comment about the garden, she shook her head. "I don't think so. I am better than any garden." No way would Archer give her up for some plants. Of course she knew Alana was joking. "Exactly. Modelling bikinis and helping. I could suggest more ideas for hybrids." They would all be amazing too since all of her ideas were incredible. Gabby was as intelligent as she was beautiful.

Still squeezing her husband's hand, she grinned as he made the announcement. She was so excited by the news.

They were so cute! Alana loved the way Archer looked at Gabby. She nudged Dima, wondering if her hubby was seeing this. He was probably feeling the urge to through up though. She wasn't sure. Alana laughed. "Gabby would love that. Don't forget to invite me over to hang out, Gabs.''

Alana braced herself for the news. What could it be? Then Archer spilled it and the woman squealed excitedly. "Oh my! Congrats, you two!'' She rushed to hug Gabby then Archer. "You two wasted no time.''

Scene Six: England; Tent - Valeria walks!

Archer was at home with his three girls. His wife, the most beautiful woman who ever existed, and his two princesses, Liana was three months old, the perfect little bundle she was. And their Valeria had just turned one last month. She was a joy to watch.

This particular afternoon, Archer was on the floor cross-legged, giving his Valeria a tickle war. She kicked around on his lap giggling her little head off.

Liana had been crying, so Gabby went off to the nursery while her husband played with their little Valeria. Someone was done with her nap and felt a lot better after being fed and changed. Smiling, she held her daughter and kissed her head. Her sweet princess was three months old already and had grown so much. Beautiful Liana.

Cooing to her baby, she headed back out to the living room, smiling even more as she saw Archer engaging Valeria in a tickle war. Laughing, she put Liana down on her play mat where she could keep herself occupied. "Now there are TWO tickle monsters!" she said as she joined in on the fun.

Tickle. Tickle. Tickle.

In the distance, Archer heard their little Liana crying, and he watched as Gabby went to see her. The tickle war continued, with Valeria kicking and giggling, thrashing about, squealing in delight. At the reappearance of Gabby, Archer's heart felt full. All of his girls were there now. And he now had a fellow tickle soldier!

"Mama!" Valeria was saying through bursts of laughter. "Dada!" Her mama and dada were tickling her, and she couldn't stop laughing to tell them to STOP!

After a while, when the oldest daughter became too red-faced, Archer backed off a little, his own face crinkled in laughter. He scooped her up into his arms and gave her a big cuddle, then sat her on the play mat next to Liana and sat on the couch to watch them. "Did she have a good sleep?" he asked his wife, lightly stroking her back.

Gabby didn't want to stop the tickle war, but it was starting to get to be too much judging by how red in the face their Valeria was starting to get. Archer stopped at the right time. Smiling, she watched him put their daughter down on the play mat by her sister. Her family was the best thing in the world and she loved them all so very much that she thought her heart would burst.

"Mmm." She leaned into Archer as he lightly stroked her back. Best husband in the world. "She did. Hopefully she will be better at sleeping through the night soon." Wasn't holding her breath, but that WOULD make things a lot easier for them.

Archer wrapped his arms around his wife, kissing her on the top of her head. "Your hair always smells delicious."

He found himself agreeing with Gabby. "It's not that I mind the occasional late-night cuddle, but it would be nice not to feel exhausted before I even get to work." He smiled. Although it was true and he was often living on coffee at work, he did love the cuddles.

There was Valeria's baby. She reached out a small hand and pressed her finger gently to her baby's nose and giggled. "Wiana," she said, looking to her mama and dada. They were sitting on the couch, but Valeria wanted to cuddle them. She shuffled onto all fours, crawled a few inches, then pulled herself up using the closest piece of furniture she could see. She squealed when she stood up, let go of the furniture and tried to move her legs like she'd seen mama and dada do, but suddenly she was back on the floor.

Gabby sighed happy. She was content and there was nowhere else that she would rather be.

"You always like how I smell. You smell amazing too." Then again he was perfect in every way. Beaming as he kissed her head, she nuzzled into him more. "I know, me too. But you still look amazing even when you are tired." So sexy. Fingers crossed that they wouldn't be woken up during the night for much longer, but also it could be a lot worse. Gabby knew that there were babies who had colic and they cried NON STOP until they were a few months old; thank Merlin that neither Valeria or Liana had that problem. As much as they loved their babies, they needed sleep!

Hearing Liana babbling, her attention was turned to the play mat. Little Valeria was standing at the coffee table and Gabby was about to coax her to come over when she squealed and fell over. "It's okay, baby. You can do it. Come to mama and dada." Smiling, she leaned forward in the couch and reached her hands out for her little baby.

He loved it when his wife nuzzled into him. He rested his head against her, holding her just a little bit closer. He let out a laugh, "We're a good smelling family, obviously." He couldn't get enough of the smell of his daughters either. Their baby heads always smelled heavenly. "I'm glad you think so, it's my new look," he joked. Joked seriously, anyway. "You could be ten days without sleep and you'd still be my beautiful."

Archer moved his attention to Valeria at the same time as Gabby, looking with delight as their daughter was standing up! As quick as he could, he waved his wand to summon his camera and he started taking photos. His finger was click-click-clicking the button as fast as he could, not wanting to miss anything.

Valeria looked at her mama and gave a big toothy smile, drool escaping from the side of her mouth. Her gum was a bit sore, but she didn't know how to tell her mama. Sometimes she just cried, but mama always made her better. She wanted her mama to give her cuddles RIGHT NOW, but her mama was holding her arms out. She was far away, and Valeria blinked at her a few times before the big grin reappeared. She reached up for the table and pulled herself up. The proud smile darted town as Valeria looked to her feet, amazed that they were upright! She looked back to her mama and giggled, launching herself towards her mama's arms. "Mamaaaaaaa!" she squealed in delight, knowing she was about to get a cuddle!

Cuddles with the husband was one of Gabby's favourite things ever.

"We're good at everything. If we have another baby at some point, they will smell great too." They hadn't really talked about it, and it was way too soon right now, but one day maybe they could have another child. One that wasn't a surprise. Not that it made much difference because they loved Valeria and Liana as much as they would love a planned baby. "Well, your new look is sexy." Seriously though, he was sexy all the time without even trying. "You could be a month without sleep and still be my handsome husband." So what if they were being mushy; Gabby loved it.

Eagerly she waited with her arms outstretched, ready to catch their daughter when she made her way over. Archer could be heard clicking away with his camera. Good thing he was taking pictures.

In an instant Valeria launched into her arms. "Archer, Did you get EVERYTHING?!" Gabby couldn't believe that their baby girl had walked!! Crying happy tears, she snuggled their daughter. "Such a good girl." Looked like she needed a teething ring though; that could be taken care of momentarily. "We'll need to make sure that the tent is baby proof now that she will be walking everywhere." Somebody had told her that once they started walking, it was impossible to get them to stop.

Archer HAD thought about having more children in the future. He loved his children, and he loved being a father. "Another baby, hey?" he asked casually. He'd be up for that. He nuzzled her head playfully. "Well good, I think it's here to stay a while." At least 18 years or so, perhaps.

Valeria was there! Her mama was giving her a CUDDLE! She let out a baby!giggle and nuzzled her head into her mama's neck, her chubby hands clinging to mama's top. Cuddles with mama were her favourite thing.

Archer couldn't believe it! His oldest baby was walking. "I got everything, babe," he said, his grin spread from ear to ear. He took a few more photos of Valeria in Gabby's arms before setting it down on the table and sitting next to them. He wrapped an arm around Gabby and gave Valeria a big kiss on her chubby little cheek.

His smile fell as he remembered something about baby proofing. "You're right... Merlin... there's so many hazards in here." He glanced around. "I have a book on it somewhere I think," and he waved his wand to summon it. He flipped through the pages and spoke out loud as he noted the things he would have to do. "I can do some of it now," He said, and cast a cushion charm on the corners of the tables, in case she tripped and hit herself on them. Luckily the only room in the tent with muggle power plugs was the TV room. He went there to charm it loked so that, even if she DID get up there, she wouldn't be able to enter. "We can get those little baby gates for the kitchen, to make sure she doesn't get in. And around the stairs. I'll pick some up tomorrow."

"Mmm, another baby," Gabby said as she snuggled into her husband. "When the girls are a few years older." Obviously. It would be a perfect time for them because things would be less hectic. Clearly he was not opposed to the idea either. "Good, though I love you no matter how you look." Archer was absolutely perfect in her eyes. They all were flawless, them and the girls.

Beaming, she kissed her daughter's head and held her close. It was hard to believe that she was growing up so fast. It felt like just yesterday she had been a newborn. Gabby would never forget holding her daughters for the first time. Her heart was so full of love.

"Dada is making things safe for you," she said as she kissed Valeria's head. She knew that the little girl probably wouldn't understand any of that beyond 'dada' but that was okay. They really were trying to improve her vocabulary and it would get better within time.

"That's great. I can go with you if you want. And we need to tell everyone that Valeria is walking!" It was very exciting news.

Archer was slightly relieved that Gabby was happy to wait until the girls were a bit older. "Good. I mean, not that I wouldn't have another one right now if you wanted, but two babies has its challenges. Imagine three. We'd be out numbered." He grinned, leaning in close to rub his nose against hers.

Valeria looked up at her Mama, who had just said something to her. She knew mama was talking to her because she always speaks like that when she talks to her. "Dada," she said in reply, a big smile showing a smidge of white on her bottom gums. She looked at her dada and gave him the same big smile.

Archer leaned forward, one arm around his wife, and gave his baby girl a kiss on her little nose. "That would be great. You can pick the design." He knew Gabby was better at designing the tent than he was, though he didn't exactly have poor tastes. Hers were just... much better. "And we have the photos to send out. I'll develop them and we can show people." AND plaster them all over the walls, of course.

Gabby leaned over and kissed her husband. "I would love to have more, but definitely not yet. It wouldn't be good for my body or our sanity." Even though she laughed, it was true on both counts. Definitely in a few years though. "This one can be planned." She smiled as she rubbed her nose against his. They could be so cheesy but she didn't care because she loved him so much.

"That's right. Dada." Gabby ran her hand through her daughter's hair as Archer kissed her nose. "I'm glad that you know to trust my design sense because it is always spectacular." THAT was why she always had the last word on this stuff, though of course Archer had his input as well. "That sounds wonderful!" At that moment, Liana decided to start crying. "Someone sounds cranky." Poor baby.

Archer loved kisses from his wife. He laughed at her comment regarding more children. "Okay, good." He was relieved, yes, but he wouldn't let out HOW relieved he was. Because he did want more children with her one day. "I'd like to know what it's like to plan a child," he said in a dreamy way. "I love our surprises though." He looked at the two of them, the beautiful babies they were.

Archer just smiled at his wife. "I knew from the moment I saw you that you were the perfect designer." The tent was always spectacular, and that was nothing compared to her wardrobe. It was almost a reflex by now that when one of the babies started crying he'd pick them up and sing to them. So, when Liana started to cry Archer scooped her into his arms, covering her little face with kisses, and started singing to her. He sat down next to Gabby, who was still holding Valeria, and put his free arm around his wife.

Valeria's little face pouted when her baby sister started to cry. Valeria didn't like it when Liana was sad. But dada was there to save her from the sad monster, and Valeria watched as he picked her up and sat down next to her and mama. Valeria rested her head on her mama and let the soft words dada sang put her to sleep.

Archer's laughter was infectious, and Gabby couldn't help but join in with him though she tried her best not to move too much in case it disturbed little Valeria who seemed to be about ready to settle in for a nap. "Me too! Not to say that our little surprises weren't wonderful." Very much the opposite! Of course it had taken some time to get used to things both times... "I love them too. They are the best surprises." Well, some of them. Meeting Archer was another one.

Yes, she was sure that he had thought that. "Of course that was after thinking how gorgeous and sexy I am." Because obvious. Just look at her, she was as flawless as he was.

Snuggling Valeria into her, Gabby watched as her husband went to get Liana. It made her sad whenever her babies started to cry, but Archer was a natural at getting them to calm down so she was not in the least bit worried about things. She kissed Valeria's head as her baby drifted off to sleep.

"The most wonderful thing ever. Besides meeting you." He gazed at her and leaned in to kiss her, careful not to disturb the babies.

"Well they all go hand in hand, don't they?" he gave her a wink. "Gorgeous, sexy, talented designer." He loved how she had transformed the tent, and how she looked. But she was his best friend, despite physical looks. She knew how to be with him, how to make him laugh and be happy. Even when he was upset or mad, she was there helping him. And she had given him two beautiful babies.

Scene Seven: England; Tent -Spending time with Zhenya

The weather was starting to get cooler as autumn approached, but fortunately there was still some warmth left. Otherwise Gabby would be in a foul mood because she did NOT like the cold at all. She was built for summer - unfortunately that didn't always mesh well with living in England...

It was a perfect day to have company over, and Zhenya was due to arrive at any minute. While they did still see her quite often, it had been a little while since the last casual visit. Gabby had even gone to the trouble of preparing a meal for them. It might not be very good, but if you asked her she was the best cook in the world (followed by her husband).

Zhenya, who had been 27 for a few months now, and a qualified Healer and Midwife for six years, was very happy to be visiting Gabby, and her two beautiful cousins. She apparated to the site she knew the Butron house-and-tent was, and made some noise to announce her arrival. She knew there was little worse than someone suddenly popping up from nowhere without any warning. "Do de-do de-do," she hummed to herself, as she approached the opening of the tent. "Hello," she called out, waiting. She wasn't one to just throw her presence into a room, without invitation, even if it was family.

And there she was!

Smiling, Gabby stepped away from the kitchen while hoping that she wouldn't end up burning any of the food. Who was she kidding? That would never happen because she was too much of an expert chef. Everything would be beyond perfect.

"Hello, Zhenya." She gave her a hug. Because she was family she was lucky enough to earned one. "So how are you?" Good, she hoped.

Zhenya returned Gabby's hug, giving her a big squeeze. "Hey Gabby! I'm pretty good. Work's easing off which is nice." Merlin, she'd done so many double shifts at the Hospital that she may as well sleep there and call it home. "So I'm getting in a bit of rest." Although not too much rest. She wanted a promotion at work and needed to keep working hard, otherwise the opportunity might skip over her.

"And how are you?" She asked, as she entered the tent.
