| | Arkie Alderton's Kwik-Repair Shop Arkie Alderton's Kwik-Repair Shop will fix your broomsticks while you wait. The shop has, over the years, expanded and is now a general repair store. The shopkeeper here will fix any magical equipment kwite kwikly. The shop is oddly shaped, long and thin. There is a counter at the back of the room, covered in tools. Presumably this is where repairs are made though quite often strange, whispered conversations might be observed down that far end of the store.
Near the front is another counter where you can inquire about getting your magical items repaired and pay out of the nose to get them fixed. There is dumpy couch across from it ready for those customers who are waiting for their repairs to take a seat. It smells like rats and occassionally it squeaks alarmingly. There are no windows, save for the narrow panes of dingy glass on either side of the door, and the only light source comes from lanterns floating above, each casting a sickly yellow-green glow on the interior of the shop.
The walls are covered with items in various states of repair. Instead of hooks, each item is held up by a skeletal hand. Those hands which are unoccupied, grab in the direction of anyone who passes by, made even more alarming by the narrow shape of the room. Have a look at the prices for repairs if you dare, but I wouldn't hang around too long if I were you.
Unless of course you have other business. Quote: A base price of one galleon, with an additional sickle per minute.
Depending on the level of damage inflicted on the item, you may face additional costs ranging from 1-100 galleons.
You'll find The Starry Prophesier In the nook next door and of course the Knockturn Alley Steps will lead you back to the safety of Diagon Alley. Map ooc: Remember that Snitchseeker site rules and the Diagon Alley rules apply at all times. Be careful how you play here. Be respectful of others and understand that measures might just be taken IC if trouble erupts. If you have any questions contact the mod in this forum: DaniDiNardo This shop IS STAFFED. Korpsit would LOVE to RP with you, so please, don't RP for him. |

| Super Slytherin Buddy || ⅓ She-Snake Trio || 'I taste like chocolate and potatoes' With a large bag slung over his shoulder, Sullivan made his way through Knockturn Alley, quickening his pace as he passed the old hag woman and rushing into Arkie Alderton's. It was only on very rare occasions that he would enter a shop for himself, but he was planning on leaving the Alley, well, he was planning on leaving England in general, and the things he needed fixed just could not wait.
Half the things in the bag were his reasons for leaving, and slapping a few of the skeletal hands that tried to grab onto his bag as he passed, he reached the counter.
He was in a rush! And the little goblin of a shopkeeper was nowhere in sight. Grumbling, Sullivan clanked the bag up onto the counter, and opening it up, he started removing his items. Trying to make as much noise as he possibly could, of course.
Goblins. They were useless. |

| Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak It had been six months since Kayla had been in Knockturn Alley. And the reason for that, was the man she was currently watching from the rooftops of the shops in the darkened alley. She could have easily taken him out from her position but she had waited six months for this.
She didn't remember a lot at the moment, thanks to her grandmother messing around with her memories but she did remember this guy. Kayla watched him with narrowed eyes as he entered one of the shops and seconds later she had disappeared.
With all the noise he was making out the front, clanking his items onto the counter, it was apparent that he had missed the whispered conversation going on out the back.
Kayla appeared a few moments later, her wand trained on the man in front of her. "Going somewhere Sullivan?" she asked in a low dangerous tone, her eyes had a cold glint in them and her hand was as steady as a rock.

| Super Slytherin Buddy || ⅓ She-Snake Trio || 'I taste like chocolate and potatoes' After the first few items were out of the bag, Sullivan glanced towards the backroom, and noticing the shadows moving against the wall, he began banging his things against the counter harder. What was going on back there? Surely the goblin could hear him. He probably wouldn't have been so angry, though, if it hadn't been for the fact that the goblin was expecting him. He should have been at the counter as soon as he entered the shop.
A few choice words leaving his mouth as his bag became completely empty, Sully turned back towards the backroom and was just about to go back there and pull Korpsit out by his ears when she appeared.
Well. He wasn't expecting this.He was actually quite surprised she had remembered him. He knew all too well what the woman's grandmother was capable of.
Something that might have sounded like a chuckle rumbled in his throat as he noticed the wand trained on him, and letting his eyes linger on it for a moment, he slowly drifted them back up to her face as his arms crossed across his chest. "Oh, come now. Put that away. We don't want a repeat of Borgin and Burkes, do we?"
And he was in far too much of a rush for it. |

| Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak Oh so now he speaks. Kayla remembered him having not a lot to say the last time they had met. No, last time he had fired arrows at her, tried to tie her up and managed to punch her in the face. She also remembered vowing that she would come back and kill him. And so here she was.
Her eyes followed his hands and she waited to see if he was going for his wand. Seeing that he wasn't, Kayla allowed herself the faintest smiirk. "You should have killed me when you had the chance Sully." She stowed her wand back into its holster. She was in a playful mood today and didn't want this to end just yet. "Because now poor little Rhodes is going to be made an orphan."
Moving forward, Kayla rested her elbows onto the counter and gave the man a mock sympathetic look. "Or maybe I could take her in and look after her for you. How ironic would that be huh?"

| Super Slytherin Buddy || ⅓ She-Snake Trio || 'I taste like chocolate and potatoes' Sullivan never took his eyes off the woman, even as he noticed her eyes drift down to his hands. He really did not want to deal with her at the moment, and he would be getting into contact with her grandmother as soon as he made it to his destination. And now, he realized why the goblin had never come out of the back room, and why his things were never going to get fixed. Good for nothing goblins! How many times had he mentioned that they couldn't be trusted?
This proved it all.
A smirk of his own, though, formed on his face when she mentioned how he should have killed her when he had the chance. If she thought, for one moment, that the thought hadn't crossed his mind that day in Borgin and Burkes, she was sadly mistaken. He thought about it. Alot actually. But what good would that have done? He would not be on his way out of England with.. The smirk vanished from his face and he narrowed his eyes dangerously at the mention of his daughter. And although he was completely surprised that the woman knew about her, he wouldn't let it show.
He uncrossed his arms from his chest as she leaned forward, and letting them hang freely at his sides, his right hand twitched for his wand. He wouldn't draw it just yet; he didn't want to give her the satisfaction of knowing that her comment was getting to him. "Is this how you managed to get away from your grandmother? Making idle threats?" How many times had she tried to kill that woman again? |

| Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak Ahhh...she had just found the man's weakness. She hadn't been sure whether he would care enough about his daughter's well being. It seemed he did though which worked well in her favour. Kayla had no plans on touching the girl unless she was forced to. She gave an imperceptible shake of her head and an inaudible chuckle escaped her lips. Did he really think that she wouldn't find out everything she needed to know about him?
Her gaze followed his hands carefully and she arched an eyebrow as he twitched ever so slightly. She almost wanted to tell him to go for it. To see just how much faster she is than him. But she remained silent until he spoke again and this time she did laugh. "Oh Sully, you foolish man." Idle threats? Her? Maybe he needed to do a little homework of his own. "Who do you think sent me here?"

| Super Slytherin Buddy || ⅓ She-Snake Trio || 'I taste like chocolate and potatoes' If it were possible, Sullivan's eyes narrowed even more as the woman laughed.
Yes, he was more than certain that, if she really came to kill him like she said she was going to, she would have done it when she had her wand out. Who honestly likes to play with their food? And why would she have put her wand away? The smirk he was wearing previously resurfaced at the thought and his arms moved back to cross over his chest. He had already proved that he was fast when they met in Borgin and Burkes. He was not worried.
He was agitated, annoyed, and he just wanted to get out of there.
So he figured if he played along with the woman's little game, he would be able to go on his way. And find someone else that would fix the things he had brought into the shop. He ignored her foolish comment. He was anything but.. "Am I really supposed to believe that? The woman who hired me to capture you.." Only a fool would believe that. |

| Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak And just like that, Kayla was getting bored. It was only fun drawing these things out when you were torturing someone. But unfortunately she couldn't do that here. His screams would no doubt attract the attention of some high and mighty Ministry worker who was full of ethics and moral fibre. And she was not in the mood to spend time in Azkaban again.
The moment Kayla had made her presence known, she had carefully surveyed the items he had placed onto the counter and when she had moved, she had made sure to position herself in front of a particular item.
Kayla allowed a small smirk to touch her lips. He really sucked as a dark wizard. "You really need to do your homework Sullivan..." And then she made her move. In one swift motion, she picked up a very large and heavy hourglass and struck Sullivan in the side of the head with it.

| Super Slytherin Buddy || ⅓ She-Snake Trio || 'I taste like chocolate and potatoes' Yes, this was all getting rather boring.
Sullivan didn't know what he was still doing standing there. It was obvious that the woman wasn't going to do anything, and it was a shame, too. He was, all of a sudden, wanting her to do something. He wanted to prove to her that he could still take her on. Even with all the extra training she had been through.
He narrowed his eyes at her comment. What was there to learn about her? He knew all he needed, and quite frankly, he didn't want to know anymore. And then she hit him. She really hit him with his own hourglass. His eyes rolled to the back of his head, and he stumbled backwards a little bit. It took him a moment to really comprehend what had happened, and growling out in pain, he raised his hand to head only to fell the warm liquid dripping down his face.
It was all it took for him to catch his bearings.
Flicking his wrist, his wand moving into his hand, Sully raised it to point straight at her. All he had to do was say the incantation to finish her off, but deciding that would be just too easy, he instead hopped over to counter and lunged right at her. He was not going to go easy on her this time. |

| Permission given by member Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak The hourglass hitting Sully in the side of the head made quite a sickening sound but Kayla had heard worse and she had seen worse too. He wasn't bleeding nearly as much as she was hoping for. But it had taken him by surprise and while he was stumbling around it had given her the time to take out her wands.
Yes the idiot had handed them in after taking them off her when they had met last.
He's probably going to regret that now.
Kayla watched as he pointed his wand at her and she almost felt sorry for him. Almost. "You're too late." she whispered to herself because as he lunged for her, two bright green lights emerged from her wands and struck him in the chest, putting an end to Sullivan's miserable life.

| Korpsit came out of the back room with some brooms in hand. He dropped them seeing Sully's body on the ground.
"What did you do, you wicked girl." The goblin said rushing to the goon's side. "The boss won't be happy about this."

Hawk had been patrolling Knockturn Alley for Bole. Bole was a bit busy at the moment, which was a pity, because Hawk wished he would have sent more people here.
Hawk ran into the Arkie Alderton's Kwik-Repair shop with his wand in hand when he heard fighting and lots of loud noises. He was wearing his usual gray clothes and his hair was uncombed, although that didn't really matter.
Hawk saw the body on the floor, the witch with the wand in her hand, and the goblin looking angry. Wasn't hard to see what had happened.
He pointed his wand at the witch, although he was watching the goblin out of the corner of his eye just in case. He hadn't exactly known what had happened. "All right, put your wand down slowly and tell me your name. It would be best for you if you didn't try anything, I can shoot very quickly."

| MLE...
If there was something Korpsit hated more than anything, was MLE.
"Look, Wizard, you need to call a healer! Are you a healer?" And he got in the man's face, and in front of his wand. "Can you get a healer? Do you want this wizard's life on your hands?" He said to him flailing his arms about.

| Melly Bean | aussiegirl | a Supernatural freak Well crap!
She hadn't been expecting someone from the MLE Dept to come waltzing in, Kayla was tempted to make a smart aleck comment to the man when the goblin got in the guy's way. She would have to pay him handsomely for that.
With a small smirk in the guy's direction, Kayla turned on the spot and disapparated from the shop.

Hawk cursed as the witch disaparrated. He should have been paying more attention to that goblin! He glowered at the goblin and bent down to examine the body swiftly. Then he looked back up at the goblin and snapped "He's dead. Surely you must have known that,as you witnessed the whole thing."
Rising, he glared suspiciously at the goblin. "Tell me everything you saw."

Korpsit glowered at the man. "I saw nothing. Same as you," he answered. "And I'm not here to do your job for you. As you can see, I have my own work to be getting on with."

Hawk replied "So you know nothing about either of these two people? Not even names? It would be to YOUR benefit to tell me anything you might know, or are you okay allowing people to kill in your shop?" That is, Hawk corrected himself, if he hadn't had anything to do with the crime. "I will report the murder at the Ministry, but I will ask you one last time if there is anything you know about this, or if you know someone who does know something."

| "Allowing murder?" the goblin repeated sharply. "Am I allowed a wand, wizard?!" he spat back. Ignorant man!! As if he could have stopped them. "I have NOTHING more to add," he said decidedly.

If you DID know anything, then not telling me would be like allowing murder."
Hawk nodded. "Very well then. Be sure to contact the Ministry if you learn anything." Then he aimed his wand at the body and levitated it out of the store.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Alexander Cornelius Christopher 'Gump' Regnaldo | Stephen stepped into the old would be repair shop with an air of nonchalance,he took a quick look around, really nothing had changed since the last time he'd been here. Though his reasons were different then,At that time he had legitimately wanted one of his prized watches to be fixed this time however he wanted something broken.
He made his way over to the counter and glanced around for the creature that would help him out of his little...dilemma...

Korpsit was working on a broken wand behind the counter when he heard the door swing open. The goblin stuck his head up and watched a man enter. Filthy thing with it's hand on his counter. "What do you want?"
Don't waste his time.

Don't waste his time. Stephen heard a voice behind the counter. He peeped over to see the goblin working on some poor souls wand. He didn't miss the tone with which the creature addressed him with, But Honestly he couldn't care less as long as he got his request done. "I have a situation that I need handled as soon as possible, It would appear that a good friend of mine has forgotten once again that he owes me a few hundred galleons. I would most appreciate it if you could remind him of his obligations"

The goblin put the half repaired wand on the counter and sized up the wizard before him. He wasn't going to doddle down here, he got right to business. If anything, he could appreciate this. "What do you want me to do about it?" He asked gruffly. Time was precious. He had things to get fixed for those of importance.
Korpsit moved from behind the counter so he was now directly before the man. "Speak up. I don't have all day." Think you can come and stand around? No. Get to it.

Stephen gave the goblin a once over as soon as he made his way from around the counter. He seemed capable he supposed. If that look on his face was anything to go by
He blinked. The way the creature was addressing him was surely starting to grate on his nerves but he would put it aside he had a schedule to keep. "Well for starters since it appears that whenever i ask him about my money it goes right through his ears, I would prefer it if he had one less ear that way I'm certain it will stay in his rather dense head. How soon could you make that happen and what will be the cost"
