Welcome Witch | Blue Galactic Hand Slytherin Graduate
Blending in with Muggles was easy for Maddy, apart from her owl Jinx who was hooting crazily because of all the noise, not many muggles carried owls arround with them and she was worried one of them would notice. "Sssshh Jinx, your gonna make one of them notice us" Maddy. When Maddy and her family got to the platform, her brother instantly ran through the wall to meet his friends on the other side. "Bye" he called back. "Remember to write" said their mother . "Listen Maddy, you don't have to go" she said, "you have lots of friends and great grades at Horkridge Elementery". "I'll be fine" protested Maddy "I have to learn how to control these weird things that I'm making happen". Her mother was a muggle, and was still a little bewildered about the whole thing. Her father was a wizard. "She's a witch Tianna" he said "she needs to go". "Bye mom" said Maddy as she turned away, grabbing her fathers arm and headed over to the platform. "I'll be back in a few minutes" he called to his wife. "Just run at it and you'll be fine" he reassured Maddy, "we'll go togeather". "So it's not gonna hurt" stated Maddy. "It'll be a breeze" her father replied. Then they ran twards the platform, Maddy winced and braced herself for impact as they crossed through the wall. But she felt nouthing, she opened her eyes. They had made it, to platform 9 3/4.[/COLOR]
João did think about hugging her and actually thought how nice it would be, but he certainly wasn't expecting her to do it. He thought she was still in the process of getting over that Dallin when she surprised him in front of the eyes of this Marina to hug him. Well, he didn't complain of course, no at all, smiled as he put her hands on her waist too. He would like to stay like that a bit more but she pulled away too soon. Yeah, she was still in that process.
Chuckling at Jwaw again, he also heard his father's chuckle. It was one of their entertainment; the foreign people who mispronnounced their names. And this time he wasn't even going to correct her, because she told him she wanted him to teach her... so he would. Alone. In a room. Hehe.
"I'm fine too," he said, taking another step back to get the angle to introduce his father when the woman made a sudden move. It was clear as sun that she was annoyed by this hug of Louisa. As far as he knew, she wasn't even a relative of Louisa--oh, she was the guardian. Well. He could see why she got too excited then upon seeing Louisa hug a boy, even though she was perfectly of age to do such things.
"Pleasure to meet you, Senhora Stewart,"he said politely, accompanied with a smile. "I'm João Neves, and he is my father, Fabio Melo," he said, a hand showing his father.
Senhor Melo smiled at the scene that unfolded in front of his eyes. His son had told him about this girl, but he only said she was a friend. He could see they both felt more for each other. Well, he also knew it was a matter of time his son had a girlfriend. He was attractive enough.
"Pleasure to meet you, madam," he said, holding out a hand to shake. Then, looking at Louisa, he smiled again. "Hello," he greeted her. He believed in the youth, so he was extra careful to pay them enough attention and respect.
"I believe we should be heading towards the platform," he said, checking his watch. "But I also fail to see any platform 9 3/4." In the other countries, they were of course disguised from the unwanted eyes, but not this much... maybe it was also like the entrance of Diagon Alley again?
Marina shook this João hand and nodded once before turning her attention to the father, "Pleasure to meet you both, gentlemen," Greeting both by the same titles since the boy didn't seem like a young boy- he had attitude. Rather polite and good one, too. Good. Although that Dallin boy she'd met earlier was less sophisticated and more cool.
Louisa almost rolled her eyes at Marina's formal introduction but João's father made her blush a bit when he greeted her. She didn't know whether to bow or just go with the shaking hands thing, "Hello, sir," better leave it like this. And when he announced that they should get going...
"I think we should," She agreed with the father and her wonders about those both; they were foreigners. Okay, it was settled then Louisa shouldn't hang out with this foreigner. "We should head toward this wall, mister Neves." She smiled at the man and inclined her head toward the wall between the 9th and 10th platforms. "You can follow us," She wasn't going to join them but she could do it for them.
"No!" She said too quickly, giving her guardian a meaningful look, "I can show them. Don't you remember what we agreed upon?" That you were not to escort me to the train by hand like a twelve years old and leave me alone! Turning her head to João, she smiled at him "Let's do it together," Remember the time she needed to get over Dallin? Well, it wasn't working out. She wanted to move on with João even if her head kept bringing Dallin up. Maybe when she spends a lot of time with João, Dallin will eventually disappear. They could hold hands, too, that'd drive Marina cr-
"Just a minute, dear." Marina grabbed the girl's elbow and dragged her away with a stern look on her face, "Listen, Louisa, I'm not going to go through that wall for you but I need you to do this for me, okay?" She looked into the girl's eyes sincerely and saw that Louisa was not going to listen, but she had to say it, "Please don't just move from a boy to another. If you don't like this one, don't make him think you do. Okay?" Louisa's eyes moved to stare at the Neves boy why she listened to Marina, "You don't want him to like you and then discover that you just used him as a distraction." The young woman said the last words slowly and softly. The boy seemed strong enough and very clever but Louisa might get herself into something big and that'd just ruin her somehow. "
Have a nice trip," Marina stepped away then and smiled at the gentlemen, "Good bye," She called out to them.
Louisa didn't answer Marina and hoped that her face expressions were as blank as she wanted them to be. Walking toward João, again, she tried to put a smile on her face but only managed a grimace. Was she really using João as a distraction? She hadn't thought of it that way. Not ever. And to prove it, she held his hand, "Let's do this." Yes, she liked holding his hand. And it wasn't like holding Dallin's or Adam's. It was different.
Ivan and his uncle watched a boy run into a wall followed by a man and his daughter. The mother stayed behind and Ivan remembered that muggles could not cross to the platfrom for the Hogwarts Express. They both stopped I.D. looked at his nephew and said, "This is where we said good bye. Guess you will be sending Moon back with letters once in a while."
Ivan looked at his uncle, "Yeah I will but not too often. We don't want the neighbors to start asking questions," he kept looking at his uncle and knew he was going to miss him and couldn't wait for Christmas holiday so he could come home. I.D. looked at his nephew and said," You better get going and make some friends ok kiddo."
"I will uncle." Ivan then ran into the wall just like the three people before him leaving his uncle behind for time first time in ten years.
"This is it!" said Elle's dad. Elle saw the wall between platform 9 and 10 and she felt extremely nervous in going through the wall. She mustered all her courage and ran through the wall. She opened her eyes, and was amazed seeing a different station. Her parents stood beside her and they walked to find the carriage for first-year.
Aurora stormed up to the wall, pushing her trolley. There had been another fight and she really couldn't be bothered talking to her Mother right now. Her sister caught up with her and walked next to her in silence. Aurora stopped before she got to the wall and turned to her sister. "I don't want to leave them, Tiff. Can you stay with them... help look after Krys?"
Tiffany put her hand on Aurora's shoulder. "I can't, Ra-Ra, I have to go back to Eadric at some point." she said. "Anyway, you're going to Hogwarts now, cheer up. Father's going away for a couple of weeks, maybe it'll all blow over." Tiff added, convincing herself as well as her sister. "Come on." Tiff pointed to the wall.
Aurora listened, nodding sulkily. "Yeah. I guess... 'kay." she sighed. She really didn't want to talk about it. She pushed her trolley towards the wall casually, Sage rustling in his cage and Salvatore poking his head out of the neck of her jumper. She disappeared followed by her sister.

“Now, remember Mordred…your books are stacked beneath your trunk..your clothes are on top of it..your cloak…” Mordred’s mother, as usual made sure that her son got all the things that he needed for school. Not paying attention, he looked around the area and tried to look for a familiar face. “Are you listening, Mordred?” his mother called out. “What? Yes, mother.” he said as he pretended to look at his trunk with enthusiasm. “Will you be sending Xchylar soon?” he asked as he noticed that he wasn’t carrying an owl cage. “We will as soon as he is okay.” His father assured him. “Your wand?” he asked. Mordred tapped his left arm to let his father know that it’s with him. Most of time, actually.
“Son, we really can’t stay long. Your mother and I are needed back at the Ministry. Will you be fine on your own?” Aldrich asked. Mordred nodded as he saw Aurora walk with another woman toward platform 9-3/4. By the looks of it, she wasn't looking happy. “I’ll be fine, father. You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll send you an owl once we’re in Hogwarts.” He replied. “I really should be going.” He said as he took hold of his trolley. He walked toward Platforms 9 and 10 and eyed the one that will take him to the Hogwarts Express. He started to walk slowly toward it, and looked behind him to see his parents waving goodbye. He gave them a wave and a small smile, and he disappeared.

Aspen insisted on holding Egbert's basket, but otherwise left her giant truck to her father. She held his basket close to her chest, letting it serve as a barrier itself between her and ALL the excited students and muggles alike. They were much more intimidating than the magical barrier up ahead.
"Are you sure about this, Pops?" Aspen asked, not at all meaning the solid brick wall. She meant this WHOLE thing, her going to Hogwarts and leaving him and West at home without her. WAS he SURE? Sure sure? Aspen took his hand while they waited their turn to get onto the platform.

"Sure about what, poppet?" Leon gave her hand a little squeeze as they waited their turn to run at the wall. "You and... Egbert," Merlin save them all, "Will have a blast."
And yes, he knew what she was really anxious about, and it was time to break his daughter of that habit. Worry wasn't healthy for a thirteen year old.

Aspen suspected her father knew that's not what she meant. Fun, sure. It would be fun. And exciting and she was SO looking forward to the library and Magical Creatures. But...
So, she spelled it out to him, "Are you sure that this is the best idea? I'm starting late, and Chaucer will need looking after. West." ...."And you." Aspen looked up to her Pops, already knowing the answer, but maybe needing to hear it one more time before they committed to putting her on the train. "Christmas is a long time from now. Three months and some."

João could sense he was being judged by this guardian of Louisa. Although Louisa talked of her like she was more a burden and a limiting person than a good friend and someone she cared for, João could see it clearly that the girl meant a lot to the woman. For a moment he wondered if they were related at all. What was a guardian in English family structure? He would have to ask Louisa later, once there was no judging eyes.
Seeing his father smile caringly at Louisa, he knew then that the man had approved of the girl. He had always trusted his father's instincts, who had 44 ages' experience with them plus the precious knowledge of little tricks, gestures and lies of the opposite people that came with being in politics for 22 years; and in the years they had developed an unspoken custom of approving of people that they were both going to have a close relationship. It wasn't like João would introduce everyone he met to his father, but every once in a while the man saw them and voiced his opinion. Seeing the approval now, João felt even better feelings for Louisa. Yeah, he would wait for her... for an understandable time.
Both the father and son looked up to the wall indicated by Marina. What, it was actually a door or something? Both looking pretty confused, they followed them to the wall, he raised his eyebrows at the.. odd, was the word for it he guessed, behaviour of both Louisa and Marina. It was as if the girl tried to push her away as much as she could, but also Marina wanted the best for her. Shrugging as they obviously argued, he looked at his father and said in Portuguese: "Come to the other side too... I'll have a long train ride with her anyway."
Fabio Melo stole a glance towards their direction, before saying "If you want, son... she is a good girl. Although still a little childish, I'm sure she will grow up." He smiled at his son. He actually didn't want his son to be away for so long, but he hardly had any time for his son, and this was the best. Plus, this was one of the best schools in the world; he had done his research. He was going to be fine.
Before the boy could answer his son, Louisa was already next to him. He peeked at the woman behind and wondered what they had spoken that made Louisa grimace, but shrugged it off. Smiling to himself as Louisa held his hand, he didn't move though and pulled lightly at her hand to draw her attention.

Merlin the house elves at Hogwarts would be driven to distraction by Aspen and her 'looking after'. It seemed she'd never quite realised that it was the elves who were to do the looking after, and not the other way around.
"West and I will look after each other." He promised, and really, it wouldn't be a bad thing to spend more one on one time with his son.
"It'll go faster than you can imagine. I promise. By the second week you'll barely remember to write to me."

So that was that. This was REALLY happening, no second thoughts. Aspen readied herself for the barrier, or more accurately, what lay behind it.
West was awful at looking after anyone or anything, let alone her Pops or Chaucer.
"I won't. But if I do, I hope you don't forget to owl me." Aspen nudged him. She was ready.

Gwen walked along the platform, talking to her mother, while her father was pushing the trolley and reading the Daily Prophet. The place started getting really crowded and Gwen had to raise her voice quite much in order for her mother to hear her. ‘Yeah, mum… I have everything packed… ‘, she nodded, not really sure if that’s the thing she was supposed to say. After all, she didn’t even check her luggage before she left the house. Hmm… I have the feeling I forgot something… better shut up, though.
’You have all your books packed?’
’Yes, mum’, Gwen answered shortly. ’Clothes?’
’Yes, mum’
’The cat?’
In that moment, Gwen stopped and felt her eyes where going wiiiide. I forgot Jinx! Now what? I would rather doubt that we can go back!?!? When she was about to panic, she noticed that black cat on top of the trolley, playing with a corner of the Daily Prophet.
‘Um… DAD? Why didn’t you say anything?’, the young ravie asked surprised. ‘I’m sorry… what?’, he finally raised his eyes from the paper. ‘Oh, yeah… I’ll miss you too kitten’ ‘Dad… that’s… aw- you meant the cat. Literarlly.’
Finally, her father stopped pushing the trolley and folded the paper in half. ‘Aw, come on… Gwen… I’ll miss you… a lot!’, he said hugging his daughter. Then, the girl turned to her mum and hugged her goodbye too. Yup, as I believed it would be… Mum is so sorry I’m leaving she won’t even say anything.
‘All right dear… bye. Have a good time there’
‘Maybe even try out for the Quidditch team’
‘I would rather d…’, the girl started saying, willing to finish with something like ‘die than do that!’. However, feeling both her parents wouldn’t love it that their only daughter hates one thing they both loved, she decided to change that remark. ‘… doubt it’Meh, it still sounds bad. WHY?‘Actually… I’ll try. Promise’, Gwen nodded, determined to do so.
Then, the young Ravenclaw watched as both her parents were leaving, and she turned around, ready to pass through the wall at the platform 9.3/4.
Dude. The Pensevies aint got nothing on you. Aslan is the God
Amy walked, pushing her trolley over to the wall. Her dad was going to say goodbye to her now, and all of a sudden, she didn't really want to go to Hogwarts, she hated this bit. In her first year, they'd even brought Noah in his little buggy to make sure she was okay, and she understood why she had to go on alone. But it still sucked. She'd been going through the wall on her own since her third year, but it was still lonely. Her dad checked his emails once more, ignoring his daughter, who had stopped moving and was tapping her shoes impatiently. For once could you not put that away and notice me! She burst out, folding her arms. Her father looked up at her, raising an eyebrow what did you just say? he asked deadly
Woops. Backtrack. Sorry, it's just, I want to go and you need to get back to mum she said, looking to the floor and trying to keep the bitterness out of her tone. Her father again put away the blasted phone and looked at his daughter, who was still short, with her loooooonnnnng hair falling over her shoulders and the slightly vunerable look she had. He pulled her into a hug and stroked her hair, this was the last time they'd see each other for a year. She wasn't coming home at christmas. That had been decided last night.
Okay then, sweetheart he said, stepping away from her, though she continued to look at the floor, he lifted up her chin, cheer up sweetie, he said with a smile, before taking her phone from her pocket, not allowing it to blow up with the magic that surrounded it. Here you go, he said, passing her a package, open it when you arrive he nodded, before giving her a slight shove. She looked up. Bye dad, she said with a smile, before giving him a hug.
And then she turned, and ran through the wall.
HOGWARTS HERE I COMMMMEEEE She thought excitedly

"What exactly will we do?" he asked with a little confusion. "My father's coming with us too. Does it require magic?" He certainly wanted to have his blessings and the last-minute warnings, and he didn't want to do that here among the people.
Louisa chuckled at João's question. "We just go through it while no one is looking," And by 'no one' she meant muggles. "It doesn't require any magic," She smiled up at the father and let her eyes linger on his face for a minute. It was overwhelming for her to meet a wizard father with a wizard son. She could picture herself coming to King's Cross with her father more clearly now. "I was nervous the first time I did it but they sent a witch to show me the way. It'd be better if I knew her of course but it went all right," And she was telling them this in case they were nervous or something. Not that the man seemed nervous-able at all but... João could be.
Walking forward, in slow motion, Louisa was glancing around for any muggles and once they were a meter and a half away from the wall she squeezed João's hand, unintentionally, and quickened her pace closing her eyes. Once that feeling took over her body for a second when it collided with the wall, she opened them with a genuine small smile playing on her lips. They were standing in front of the train finally, the chatter was loud and pleasant as ever.
And to make it better, she wasn't alone. João was there and his father as well, they were getting closer and she could feel it. Letting go of his hand, Louisa's was getting a bit sweaty and she wanted to introduce the train well to the Brazilian family, the girl ran forward a little whirling around, "And this is the Hogwarts Express," Spreading her arms slightly above her head in a I-Am-A-Queen pose.
The trip to the wall was a stressful one. Neither her nor her knew where the wall was because she was the first of the family to go to Hogwarts. Her brothers went to a magical performing arts school in the United States.
So they took a few wrong turns, rolled over some feet and totally upset Legalos. Who was not used to all the hustle. He was a delicate cat after all.
harlow was just eager to get through the wall and see the train. She had read Hogwarts, A History and now she just wanted to see it in the flesh so to speak.
"Harlow Syria Riddle. Calm down," her mother seethed for the million time as she ran the pram up on the back of her mother's heels. Well it wasn't her fault! She couldn't see. But she gave her mother a bigger lead, she knew she was in trouble when her mother used her entire name. That always spelled trouble.
They finally found the wall and saw a rather long queue already there waiting their turn so they got in line and waited while all the other kids and their parents ran into the wall.
Now it was their turn, "You go through first." her mother instructed. Harlow looked back to make sure and her mother gave her a small smile. She nodded and took a few deep breaths to steady herself.
And then she was off, running as fast as her short legs could carry her and the pram baring her sleeping sisters toward the wall. She closed her eyes and held her breath and keep running. When she opened her eyes she was standing before the Hogwarts Express.
The gleaming sheen of the candy apple red engine pulled the corners of her mouth up toward her hairline. "Oh mommy look," she pointed as her mother came through the barrier right after Harlow.

"Daaaad~ people are looking!" Daichi puffed his cheeks as his father was trying to clean a stain off of it. He tried to get away from the napkin cleaning his face by looking around the station. It was busy , muggles were getting to work or do something else and he saw students with their parents run through the famous ..well.. for magical folks.. wall. His father snapped him back though as he seemed to daze off.
"Daichi...have you heard a word of what i said?" He asked as he still tried to clean his son's face. He waited for a reply but when there was none he sighed deeply, letting go of the napkin and placed it in his pocket. "I really worry about you sometimes..."
Daichi frowned as he looked up at his father who had stood up from the ground now. "Dad, i can take care of myself! I passed the first year ..right?" His voice sounded a bit annoyed that his father didn't trust him yet he was smiling.
"That's exactly what i'm worri--" he stopped talking upon seeing the look on his son's face and cleared his throat. "You better say goodbye to your big brother now"
His father chuckled to himself as Daichi turned around and ran to his older brother who was looking at some muggle girls. "Brotheeeeeeeeeer~!" Daichi shouted and jumped to hug his waist. Aedan was annoyed at first that he couldn't see the hot girls anymore. But he couldn't be angry long because seeing his younger brother hugging him he smiled.
"Daichi" He said and the twelve year old Slytherin looked up. Honestly, how his younger brother ended up in Slytherin was a mystery to him. "Do you best okay? And if someone bullies you, just give me an owl. You got MinSu now right?" Daichi nodded as he looked back at his father who was standing at his trolley. "Fighting~!" he said and gave a big hug to his brother.
Unable to breathe anymore by the sudden tight hug from his older brother, he started to wriggle his way out of his arms. "Can't breathe! I'm not a little kid you know~ " he pouted his lips and crossed his arms over each other. "Sure you're not, let's go"
They walked back to their father and Daichi grabbed the handle of the trolley. He pushed it and walked towards the wall with his family.
Fee made her way to the wall between 9 and 10. To be honest she was really excited to meet Kennedy's cousin. After all he had told her about the girl, what if she wasnt what that woman expected? Why was she that worried about it anyway?Siiiggggh. Just keep cool. Walking around the Slytherin tried to find her friend and the woman she didnt know how to look like.
Maybe the fourth year was just early, she knew all the places all the side ways and everything about Kings Cross. She lived at London,so no biggy. The woman probably showed Kennedy a few places near.Fee would just stand here and wait for them.
Audrey looked nervously at her trolley. This was it. This is what she's been waiting for since she was born. Taking a deep breath she let her mother and father lead the way. She looked at all the muggles with a frown. Honestly, she thought, why did they have to put a place with muggles also. Merlin!
She looked back at her ticket. Platform 9 3/4. As they reached closer to the wall the stopped just a few distance. "Audrey darling! We're going to miss you sweetheart! Promise you'll write!" her mother said as she hugged the life out of her daughter. "Y-yes mom. Can't breathe!!!" Audrey managed to choke out. "Be a good girl."
"Always am." Audrey's father then said, "Make us proud."
"Of course father," she looked down at the floor disappointed. He's always so serious, she thought. "Okay then darling, let's go!" her mother said. Audrey nodded and then grabbed the handles of her trolley. Here goes!, she thought to herself.
Like a Domino ♥ Karma Kimalia ♥ ♥ Taco Bell ♥ Sorry for party rocking
Kimalia had difficulty containing her excitement. It was going to be another year off to Hogwarts, this time with her parents were seeing her off. Her brother Dennis was still away training for his next match.
"Honey, your owl cage is slipping off." Mary, Kimalia's mother gently held her shoulder back to stop the cart so they could re-adjust everything.
"Oh!" Kimalia gasped to see her lovely black owl flapping it's wings in fright, Kimalia named her Precious, after looking up names, she found this one it suited her girl owl. "Aw, Precious I'm sorry about that." Precious hooted in a pouty matter jokingly turning her head away before looking back at Kimalia blinking in understanding.
"Excited to be back Kimalia?" Her father, Theodore-Louis towered both of them as he crouched down to tie everything back together again. "Well now, thirteen years old now, everything seems to be a turning point, you're not a baby, yet you're far from an adult but want to take on the world." He began laughing, her father tended to do that when he felt what he said was right. It frightened a few passing muggles who wondered what a grown man was laughing manically randomly for.
"Daaad, everyone's staring." Kimalia smiled at the few people staring as if nothing bothered her, though she was deeply embarrassed.
"Let's go now dear, together." Mary held Kimalia's right shoulder, while Theodore-Louis held her left. And all of them walked calmly before disappearing through the wall.
Josephine strolled with her family, her twin brother, Joseph walking next to her "We're going to Hogwarts!" Josephine smiled and pushed her things.
"You're going to make me and mom really proud, she was sad because she couldn't come" her father, John Parker said.
"Thanks daddy" she smiled and went through the wall, closing her eyes.

Joseph smiled at his dad "Thanks dad" he said. He and his identical twin sister had been more than excited to enter Hogwarts, the two would be Gryffindors. Smiling he went after her sister through the wall.
Emily entered the station pushing her trolly, her sister by her side. Her smile was much bigger this year as she'd been thinking she might have not returned to Hogwarts this year.
"Right Em, we've got to run straight at that wall." Rachel said pointing at the wall between platform's nine and ten.
"I know Rach! I have done this before ya know." she replyed rolling her eyes. Way to point out the obvious Rachel!
She looked around at all the muggles running around for the trains. And other children with their parents. She kind of wished her adptive parents were here, but she knew how much magic scared them. Running through a wall would just take the cake.
"Huh." Rachel laughed ruffling her hair "Just making sure you know the right one. Don't want you running into a solid wall again!"
Everytime. She always brought that up. "Shut up Rach." she advised, still smiling. They looked around, then at each other. "Ready?" Her sister nodded, took her trolly and together they ran straight through the wall.
