Harry entered the Great Hall,glancing at the Gryffindor table.He saw Ron and Hermione and waved.He made his way to the table and took a seat on Ron's left."How's everyone doing?" asked Harry,helping himself to some fried eggs.

Ron was glad to see Harry.
Fine mate,Hermione just came in. he said looking at Hermione
Looks like her parents allowed her at last he said eating some fried eggs.

"Yea,i noticed" said harry happily "'ow d'you co'vinced 'em,'ermione?" he asked her,quite astound that he managed to make an intelligible sentece,for he had taken another bite of bread and he was looking like he was hiding a bludger in his mouth.
After he swallowed he looked at ron who was laughing at his face."Why didn't you wait for me,anyway?I only had to dress up and I'd had come with you.."
Harry glanced at Hermione and he seemed to understand something,then added "Oh,well,I guess you were very hungry.." in a casual tone,smiling to himself.

Ron looked from Hermione to Harry and then laughed at Harry and Hermione's disgusted expression
see,Mione its not only me who talks with mouth full he said between laughs
Ron shrugged
you know me.i cant stay away that much without food he said
yeah Mione how did you convince your parents? Ron asked

Sara shook her head in disgust seeing Harry talk with his mouthful
Boys she muttered and looked at Jacob.
so Jacob what are you planning to do today. we have an entire weekend ahead she said

Parvati saw her fallow mates sitting in the Great hall and saw Ron eating disgustingly "Hey guys, how've you been, i really missed you all" she said.

Ron nodded as he ate he pointed Hermione to Parvati
she is back at last he said.it looked as if Ron couldnt have been much happier then a 7 year old for whom christmas came in early.he looked like he would tell the entire school that his know-it-all best friend and his secret love is back.

Harry looked at Ron and smiled broadly.. When he realised that some of them were watching him questioningly he abruptly changed his facial expression and took a gulp of pumpkin juice,for lack of something to say.

Ron looked at Harry as he smiled broadly at him.Ron reddened but then he himself didnt understand what was going in Harry's mind.

Hermione smiled at Harry and Ron. "Oh well after convincing them for four months I guess that got annoyed by my begging." Hermione said shrugging.

"Well,after all,we're safer here than anywhere else,aren't we?" said Harry.
"I'm glad your back, 'Mione" he added,smiling kindly.

Hermione smiled at him.

Ginny saw Harry sit beside Hermione and Ron. She ran over to them and hugged Harry. "Where were you guys?" She asked Hermione and Harry.

After he had hugged Ginny, Harry assured that no one was listening,then whispered "You know-..Dumbledore" seeing signs of incomprehension he continued "Well,he left me a kind of homework to do and had to go alone,you see.As Hermione has been away and couldn't come..And it would have been a little odd taking Ron with me,all three of us dissapearing from view.."
Seeing Ginny's worried expression,he added "Not something too dangerous,just some researches,really"
People around the table were starting to pay attention at their conversation so Harry decided to change the subject "So how have you been?" he asked taking another gulp of pumpkin juice and eyeing her curiously.

Dean stayed quiet and ate his toast. Evan did the same but...bacon...

Ginny's eyes widened. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Oh and good. How about you?"

Vanessa looked over to Dean. "Are you okay? You seem quiet." She said.

Draco was mad he wasn't getting any attention so he decided to go over to the Gryffindor Table and annoy them. "Hello mudblood and bloodtraiters." He said smirking.

Vanessa whipped her head around to look at Draco. "Such a jerk." She said.

Draco looked over to her. "You must be the new girl." He said. Hmm...this is a very pretty girl...no..Draco...stop....this is a girl who's friends with Weasel-Bee, Granger, and St. Potter...she is still pretty...ughh! Draco didn't notice he was still staring at Vanessa.

Jacob was still eating as usual and not paying attention to what was happening. "Hey Sara, what do you want to do now? I'm finished eating." He said.

"Ya, I'm fine." Dean said then almost as soon as he said it he heard Draco Malfoy's voice behind him. He turned around and shook his head at the Slytherin.

Ron saw Ginny hugging Harry and instantly his eyebrows raised.He looked at both of them with such expressions that probably Harry and Ginny wouldnt understand.

Ron heard Harry talk about him and something about Dumbledore.he slowed eating and tried hard to listen but acted as if he didnt hear a thing.
Harry is hiding something from mehe thought.he felt horrible.
i have been his best friend he could have told me where he was going Ron thought.

Ron was feeling miserable.harry could have told him once atleast about what he was doing.he always told him.then why not this time.why this secrecy frm his best mate and he tells about it first to Ginny and not even Hermione. he was getting angry and upset.he felt betrayed.he was stuck here without them going through all the boredom alone and not one of his friends were with him.he thought atleast Hermione could try and contact him but no,at least Harry could have trusted him after all these years no and the rest...he didnt care much about them...wasnt particularly close to them...though Vanessa was good to him but...and just then he heard Draco.Ron stood up like jack in the box and punched him straight on his nose
he saw Draco staggering back and cursing
never ever call Hermione mudblood and any of my friends blood traitors, you ferret he said and stormed out of the hall.


Sara was just about to answer Jacob when she heard a crunch.she quickly turned to see Draco and his bloody nose.
that fell good she murmured
She looked at Vanessa and saw she was fine.she had called Draco a jerk and Sara was glad coz he was a jerk.
Come on Jacob Sara said looking at Draco disdainfully and leaving the Hall

"Really Evan," said Nicky, "I swear we are going to have to boost your self confidence somehow." Nicky looked around and saw Harry, Hermione, and Ginny, appear "Hi," she said. As she went to take a sip of her juice she spotted platinum blond e hair a gasped, Draco Malfoy when did he get here.

Harry laughed at Malfoy's face, greeted Nicky then got up from the table looking worried, said "Be right back" and stormed after Ron. What merlin's beard has happened to him? he asked himself.Then ran after Ron and when he had finally reached him he pulled Ron by the shoulder and turned him around and looked him in the eyes "Now tell me what that was,will you?" Harry asked impatiently.

Evan tensed up when he heard Draco Malfoy's voice behind them. He turned and saw the Slytherin looking snide. Then he saw Ron get up and punch him straight in the nose! Evan couldn't help but smile.

Draco was shocked at Ron's punch. He started to walk away but saw Nicky. "Hey babe." He said kissing her cheek.

Hermione ran after Ron. She saw Harry with him. "Thank you Ron, but why did you walk away? You know that we're here for you, that's why we love you." She said, then realizing how true her words meant. She blushed.

Vanessa looked at Dean. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Jacob looked at Sara confused. "Where are we going?" He asked.

"Ya...Vanessa, I'm just fine." Dean said loosening his grip upon the stool he was sitting on. He never liked Draco.

Evan saw Malfoy kiss Nicky's cheek. He breathed deeply once before looking at Malfoy. "If you don't want to get punched in the face a second time, I suggest you go far away." He tried saying calmly.

Ron was roughly pulled by his shoulder.Ron was furious for some reason
no you tell me harry.what's this all about?havent Hermione and i been your best friends? havent we helped you in every problem of yours?havent we all stuck together and worked as a team?then why didnt you tell me and Hermione that you were secretly working on something given by Dumbledore,huh? atleast you could have told me if you didnt want me to be with you when you are working around. he said looking at Hermione who arrived
and fine you didnt tell me first but you could have told Mione what you were up to.but no you first had to tell my sister! he shouted
when was my sister ever in the picture that you told her your secrets and worried her?you know she likes you and you go and tell her so that she ends up getting worried for you?
dont give me that look.i heard everything what you told to Ginny! he said glaring at Harry



Ron looked at Hermione and looked confused when she used the magic word.he turned and looked away when he realised what she said.
Hermione you could have atleast written to me or Harry and told us why was it taking you so long to come? he spoke softly his back facing Harry and Hermione but then he realised his own stack of letters that were under his dorm bed for Hermione which he couldnt post because of the fear of owls being intercepted
he hunched his back and shook his head.Running his hand through his hair he turned and spoke
never mind.you guys have come back and i am glad he said and just looked at his friends.
i just punched Malfoy because i thought he should get what he deserves and i didnt want to stand there and take the nonsense he would speak after getting hurt, foul git! he hissed.

Sara saw Ron literally shouting at Harry and Hermione but she couldnt make out either head nor the tail of what he was speaking.she shook her head
Nothing Jacob i didnt want to be around when Draco is there. he is just a pest.nothing else she said shaking her head.
so what do you want to do? you are new here you tell me she said smiling

Parvati saw the three of them talking to each other and couldn't help herself her curiosity had reached its peak, so she ran to them and asked "Hey, guys what’s the matter i couldn't control myself any more could any of you tell me what’s happening? Please" she said.

Harry realised how awful Ron felt all this time,not knowing what was happening to them.Ron somehow reminded of himself,a year ago,isolated at the Dursleys and no one ever thought of sending him a piece of information.
He felt horrible and said "Ron,i couldn't send you any letter concerning the reason why i came so late or whatever i was doing.. You know the owls are intercepted" he said sadly "And I wasn't talking only to Ginny,I thought you two were listening too.I have no reason of hiding things from you and yes I know you where there for me whenever i needed you and you always helped me,i told you,it's not that.I just couldn't tell you anything.I'm really sorry.Now things changed.And I can tell you everything." he saw Parvati coming and added "Just not here,alright?" then watched Parvati's worried face and questioning them and he said calmly "Nothing.Just a misunderstandig.." and he put on a smile that looked more like a grimace.
After a few moments of silence he asked "So,are you three coming to the common room or what?" rising his eyebrows.

Ron was still furious but then Harry's words put him to shame.he couldnt talk to them.he had totally misunderstood them.he hunched his shoulders and quietly walked ahead climbing the staircases leading to the common room.As they reached the common room her sat down heavily in his own thoughts.he looked up at Harry who was giving Hermione worried looks.he looked down
stop acting stupid.Harry needs you now.sit up and listen to him a voice inside him told.he sighed.he looked up at his friends ashamed
i am sorry i-i just bursted like that he said running his hand through his hair.he looked at Harry and spoke
